    Matt has done a couple home inspections for us during our home buying journey and he does an excellent job. He is very thorough and willing to answer any questions we may have. The first inspection he did found several issues with the home that we were not aware of and saved us from making a big mistake in purchasing.     I would leave more stars if I could.We contacted Texas Edge late at night through their website. It turned out the website was not allowing us to finish and submit the scheduling form. Emailed them through their info email address and Amy was able to get us scheduled for the date and time we had requested with no issues that same night (and it was really late).On the day of the inspection, we were able to discuss the most important issues with Louis, the inspector, in depth. He took his time to explain everything in a very detailed manner and without rushing us.I am an attorney and have seen many inspection reports and the one my wife and I got from Louis and Texas Edge is the most detailed Ive ever seen.They are super knowledgeable and their inspections are very thorough. Their professionalism is exceptional and they are also very responsive.All in all 10/10.

    I found this inspection company on Facebook Reels, Its not supposed to do that! Matt showed up on time and spent about 3 hours inspecting the home. He then went over the highlights of a thorough, 57-page report with me on the spot and had the report in my email box minutes later. To be quite honest, I have only had to have 3 inspections in my 60yrs and I truly believe that I got what I paid for. Matt performed one of the most thorough and documented inspections that I have ever seen. Matt spent nearly 5 hours on site, inside and out, examining every detail of the home I was purchasing.     This is by far the best inspection services that I have had the chance to do over the last 10 years of home ownership. Matt was very professional, thorough, detailed oriented and was able to catch several issues missed by a previous inspection about 11 months ago from a new construction home.     I found Matt through Instagram while I was in the process of having my home built. Unfortunately, I did not find him prior to dry wall going up…but man I wish I did. Matt provided the initial new build inspection, re-inspection prior to closing (to make sure the initial items were addressed), and today for my month 11 inspection (for final warranty stuff). I was traveling during the initial and pre-closing so I was not present during those two but was present for month 11. For all three inspections, Matt’s reports are very meticulous and systematic. I believe his system gives him the greatest chance of finding ALL issues that should be resolved in a home. Matt’s pricing is very fair for the service and in my opinion is more in the buyers favor (I.e. he gives you a lot for what you pay for). The reports are generated in a very short time if not same day. I absolutely plan to recommend him to all of my colleagues and family and if the time comes use his service again. Good job man!

Matt responded right away and was able to fit us in the very next day due to a cancellation. The report he provided was detailed and thorough (the thermal photos were the coolest part!). We provided the report to our builder, and we reviewed every issue Matt identified (there werent many, but were things wed missed or werent able to check on our own).     I rarely write any reviews online, but Matt had done a great job I want others to know about him. We had a great experience working with Matt throughout the process of building our home in Spring. We live in Sugarland, and decided to ask the people around the Meadows for recommendation on an inspector. They all recommended Matt, so we hired him to inspect our home from start to finish. At the pre-drywall inspection, he found so many mistakes that the builder and project manager had overlooked. Not only Matt is a detailed person, he is very quick with sending out the report to us as well. He did our final inspection at 9am and sent us the 46-page report by 1pm with great details what the builder needs to fix. Not only a thorough inspector, he is also very honest person. We had a leak at our current home in Sugarland and I didnt know where the leak was coming from. He gave me great advice just by looking at the picture I sent him. We will hire him again at our 11-month mark before our 1-year warranty for the new home is up. I have recommended Matt to my patients and friends.     Recently we worked with Matt at Texas Edge Home Inspections to have a new property inspected and the experience was outstanding. We are moving from the DC Metro area to Houston and really don’t know what to expect from Texas building codes and things to worry about. Matt provided us an over view of things we need to really be concerned with on our soon to be home in Houston metro area given the difference in climate and other things. He walked us through the equipment our house is included with and how things should operate (We haven’t had the full walkthrough with the builder either but didn’t expect this out of him either). He explained the entire inspection process thoroughly up front so we knew what to expect and as he saw a few minor issues explained the issue (in laments terms for us) and the action the builder needs to take to rectify the issue. Once everything was complete he went above and beyond to answer other questions we had that were not covered by the report. The report was more thorough than we could have imagined with the heat images along with very specific and general area photos to help the builder see exactly the problem and where the issue is to be resolved. He then fully walked us through the report and let us know that when we speak with the builder that if they have any questions we can also have them reach out to him to help them clarify.We 100% recommend Matt for any Home Inspection needs someone may have and plan to have him come back through our house at the 11 month mark to go back over the house for any additional items that should be fixed in our warranty period.

    Purchasing a home is a huge investment, and if its an older home there are bound to be issues that have been overlooked, unseen, or dont match up to current codes. Im extremely thankful that my realtor chose Matt Brading with Texas Edge Home Inspections.
