Devin was recommended to us by a friend who had a great experience with him, and now I completely understand why.From the very start, Devin impressed us with his professionalism and excellent communication.     As first time home buyers, my wife and I went through a long process of looking and then going into contract with a house and backing out because of what the inspection showed. All the times we had the inspection done on the house, we had Devin and he is incredibly awesome! Very knowledgeable and personal as he remembered us from the first inspection he did for us and was glad that our current inspection came out to be a lot better than the other inspections we had. As we were going through the house inspection, he gave us a detailed report on what he has already done and what he was going to do to finish up. Everything he said during the inspection was detailed in the report that he provided us. Very quick with the inspection report, super detailed and very easy to understand.     As first time buyers, we got everything we needed through our Red Star inspection with Devin. He was very honest and went over every detail with us. He also tailored our discussions for a new construction home and gave us insight into working with the builder after the inspection.He asked about the things we were concerned about so he could provide extra details. Devin also got our report to us very quickly.The booking process was also very easy and I appreciate the website and online system. We had narrowed it down to two companies for our inspection and Red Star won our business because I could book online easily without having to call, and I was being sent to voicemail for the other one.

    Brett Finch was our inspector and he was absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough great things about him! He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He showed up early to the inspection, walked my husband and I through the process and got our report to us the same day because our option period was coming to a close!     We are a repeat customer. We went to RedStar again due to their exceptional service the first time and they dont disappoint. They are hands down the best home inspection company in the US. Wish they would branch out to California. Though Redstar inspections are priced higher, you get what you paid for and more. Gina was very patient and clear in explaining the options and was prepared to take multiple calls from me to clarify the process and next steps.     Devin Evans with RedStar completed an inspection on a new-build for me recently. Upon arrival at the property, I told him that I am a first time home buyer and the seller is pushing to close extremely quickly. One glance at the exterior and he agreed they should have pushed back their deadline. During the inspection, not only did he patiently and thoroughly explain all of his observations to me, he also gave me a lot of advise for the initial walkthrough.Well the initial walkthrough was today and I felt so much more prepared! While they did try to rush me through the walk (as Evan anticipated), I took my time and brought the flashlight he recommended to better see any interior imperfections. He also recommended that if the builder insists a few items on the inspection list are not actually necessary, that the builder needs to provide in writing that the work is at standard. This is what I told the builder regarding a backyard concern and the builder was quiet for a moment before stating he will have the landscaper reevaluate the potential issue this week.Thank you, Devin!

    We are very happy that we choose Redstar Inspection when it came time to choose the prefect home to purchase. We had plenty of questions to ask and the tech was very knowledgeable, polite and we felt they give great recommendations on repairs. The added bonus was the video, not only does it show where recommended repairs should be done. If you did not get to them today you can always go back and do them later cause you have the video showing you what needs fixing. I would use RedStar again great company.

    I believe I dodged a bullet because of RedStar - highly recommend (details below).My realtor provided me with a couple inspection companies and I did my due diligence on offerings/pricing before ultimately deciding RedStar offered competitive prices on a comprehensive inspection.Christian was the inspector that inspected the home I was looking at buying. I cant say enough positive things about Christian and would recommend you request him if possible. He showed up early, inspected/measured more things than I thought there would possibly be to inspect/measure. He even looked into things outside of the scope of the package I ordered from RedStar, just things he noticed.Less than a day later, I had Christians 47 page report with photographs detailing the good, the bad, and the ugly, with recommendations on how to address any issues.Highly recommend these guys.

    RedStar was able to give me a quote in minutes. They had options for dates and times, even same day could have been an option. Great pricing, great product, great service. The inspector was on time and very responsive with his findings. He was able to walk me through every item he found. The virtual tour after the fact was a great reminder to what/where we discussed any findings. The report they provide is very well written and easy to follow as well as the use of photographs to see exactly what is being discussed. Highly recommended!

    I recently purchased a new build and needed to hire an inspector before closing. I came across RedStar through an internet search. I was easily able to book an appointment and Scott Carey came out immediately the next day. Scott was extremely prompt and was even at the house working away before I even arrived.     We used RedStar for my parents home inspection. Though I requested a quote on a Sunday when closed, I received a prompt response. They were able to accommodate timing right away.Scott Carey was our inspector. He showed up early, was very professional, exceptionally friendly, and we were more than happy with his service.RedStar generated the full report in less then 24 hours including the virtual walk through. I do not think anyone else is doing this yet, and is a great feature. Report was detailed, and summary easy to follow. We had a house specific floor plan made for very reasonable cost, fast turn around, and looks great. This is the second time I have dealt with them and both times we could not be happier. Highly recommended, I know I have told our realtor and all my coworkers how happy we are.

The pricing was a tad bit higher than other inspectors who quoted me, but I ultimately went with this company because a smart friend with renovation experience recommended them to me.     This was my 3rd home inspection using RedStar and had Nick again. It was my first home inspection on a previously owned home and for the package I utilized it was an awesome report generated from him being on site for a little less then 2 hours. I highly recommend getting a professional home inspection report on any new home and Nick at RedStar always finds issues that the casual homeowner may never even think to check or notice. He was a house whisper mixed with a crime scene detective. Taking very small clues and finding the root cause. Water damage at an exterior door by noticing swelling in the trim, and noticing some electrical issues and following up with the dryer duct most likely being backed up. The cost of his report was able to get 10 fold in home price relief from the sale of the house. Well worth getting the inspection as it can be used as a road map for saving major headaches down the road.

    Love this group! The RedStar crew doing the scheduling had no problem with any of my questions. I called them twice, first to get info and then to actually schedule. They were really kind with explaining what to expect and how much everything would cost, particularly since I had never used an independent inspector before.The inspection itself was done by Nick Jones who not only pointed out what needed attention, but also things that were done well by the builder. Since I am not in construction of any kind, this really put my mind at ease. After the inspection, RedStar generated a report by lunchtime the next day that I downloaded as a PDF and forwarded to my building manager. By the time of my own walk-through with the building team, two of the points Nick had found were already corrected.So for anyone looking to move into a new (or used) home, I highly recommend an independent inspector just for the peace of mind it will give you.     After calling several different survey companies, I went with RedStar because they were recommended by my realtor and were able to accommodate my schedule and also allowed me to be present during the inspect. When I called to schedule the appointment, Gina was upfront with all the pricing and there were no hidden fees. She explained what each package included and also spoke with me about any additional services I may want. Once I confirmed the appointment, an e-mail was promptly sent to me with the amount due, which is just what Gina said it would be. I was able to pay through a secure website at anytime and up to the time of the inspection.When I arrived at the home I was looking to buy at the scheduled time, the inspector (Scott) was already there and had completed the inspection on the outside of the residence. He was quick to stop what he was doing and go over what he already inspected, pointing out any and all problems he saw with the house. He also pointed out all of the good things he saw. While completing the rest of the inspection, he allowed me to walk with him and told me everything he was looking at and what he felt was in need of immediate repairs and what could wait. He answered any and all questions I had regarding the inspection and offered advice on what could be done to remedy some of the problems. After all was said and done, Scott informed me the inspection report would be ready within two days.The following day, the inspection report was ready and sent to my e-mail. It also included the termite inspection and the virtual reality report, which I found really helpful because now I can walk through the house at any time without being there and look at things I may have missed, but also pull measurements from the VR report for window treatments, placing furniture, and even allowing the painter to see the house without actually going there.The entire team at RedStar went above and beyond to make sure this went as easy as possible.     Great experience using Red Star to perform my home inspection. They were recommended by my realtor. When I call I spoke with Tammy and she got my appointment setup with ease and provided an email confirmation. The inspector arrived at my home, performed the inspection and called my when he had about an hour left as I had requested. When i arrived he was just finishing up and he reviewed all of his findings with me. We used a different inspection company when we sold our home, and RedStar was far superior.     Devin Evans performed an inspection and reinspection (because of the builder) for our new construction home. The home was not ready for the first inspection as it should have been so there was A LOT to look for and document. I dont think Ive ever met a person more thorough, paying attention to all the details. He was looking under areas, atop areas, on the roof, in the attic, viewing areas from all angles. My spouse and I were present for both inspections along with our Realtor. Devin was also great at explaining what he was seeing around the home and giving us tips on what to look out for. We were able to easily follow the report and printed off the PDF version to use as a checklist during part of our blue tape.     I was completely amazed on how knowledgable and informative Nicholas Jones was. He called me an hour before he was done so we could meet up and go over a few details from the report. He walked me through the major details and explained everything I didnt understand. He really did an amazing job. The report was sent to my email 24hrs later with a 3D virtual tour that I LOVED. Nick put in red and green circles throughout the home so I could view what he reported and also provided some videos of him explaining the information while he was doing the inspection. It was really awesome to be able to go back and view the home and report without having to remember everything he told me or read the long report detail by detail. We are moving to Texas from out of state and they were more than accommodating, we chose to go with there premium package ( not sure it is called premium package) and we were not disappointed at all. The inspector called us before he started the inspection to see if we had an areas of concern, he then called us later that night to do a verbal walk through of his inspection, followed up with a written report the next morning that included pictures of his concerns, and items that he thought should be addressed, in the pictures he included diagrams of what we were looking at and why it was a concern. Nick Jones of RedStar Professional Inspections, Inc. earned that spot on my list 8 years ago, and he has been the selected inspector for the majority of my clients buying homes since then. On countless occasions, Nick has caught and reported inspection issues and given my clients much-needed information about the home they are considering purchasing. This has resulted in a stronger position for negotiating repairs with the sellers. Nick has the latest in high tech equipment to check any house, as well as a background in home building that is a true asset to any inspection. He knows current code backwards and forwards. He does a stellar job explaining the report to the buyers and then the written report itself is always very thorough. Nick is then available in a heartbeat if if there are questions after the inspection. Nick is trustworthy, and he always goes the extra mile. Further, he is licensed to do all three phase inspections, plus pool, termite and sprinkler system inspections. I highly recommend Nick, as would every one of my clients who have chosen him as their inspector.

    Robert Ramirez completed both the phase I and phase II inspections of our new construction home. The report for the first inspection (foundation pre-pour) was detailed with photographs and every issue thoroughly explained along with suggestions on how to remedy each. For the pre-drywall inspection, we had to reschedule last minute due to missing windows and electrical, but Tammy Benefiel helped us reschedule with ease and patience. Once that inspection did happen, Robert was very insightful and answered my many questions about the home. This second report was even more detailed than the first, and we were able to fix items before they became costly to repair. We also did the 3D-virtual report of the home to get an idea of the placement of the electrical and studs before the sheetrock was installed. This was the same 3D tour of the homes you see on real estate websites. I 100% recommend getting this addition. The best part was that I could measure any all and dimensions within the home from anywhere! Allisson Smith was the photographer, and we couldnt have been more pleased. Overall great experience and looking forward to completing our last inspection with Robert.

    Wonderful experience and I never even met them. Since I am living in NY and buying our vacation home in TX, Devin worked with my realtor and treated us like we were family. Super thorough with the report as if he was my best friend looking out after me. The VR digital report was a plus since I never saw the place, the report definitely captured things I didnt see.     I used Red Star for both a pre-purchase inspection, and then again for a re-inspection after having been in the home for a year. Even though this was a quality, new build home, in both cases they found items in need of repair that I was able to address with the builder. Had these been left undetected, it would have either led to larger issues, and/or resulted in paying the cost out of pocket.Both times, the report I received was very thorough, and the inspector in each occasion took the time to explain not only his observations, but general recommendations on maintenance, and what to look for in the future.The expense of these inspections were well worth it for me, not only to have the repairs professionally addressed while being paid for by the builder, but also for the peace of mind regarding the integrity of other big-ticket items. I would gladly recommend Red Star to others.

    Nick Jones is the Bomb Diggity! I have a new build home and after reading about a ton of horror stories online about all the carelessness in new build homes, I decided I needed to hire an inspector to watch my back.I did a lot of research and called a lot of places. Redstar was affordable and they had a ton of raving reviews. Not to mention they were innovative by adding virtual reality to their reports.Nick Jones was assigned as my inspector and Im so happy that he was! He was on time, super nice and walked me through everything and anything. He helped me answer any questions/concerns I had and he definitely looked beyond just the surface in the inspection. If it wasnt for him the house would probably have some unwanted issues that may not be discovered until years later or ever. Dont forget, even the little things count when it comes to building a home. You should get everything you pay for and Nick will help you with that!The virtual reality report was WAY cooler than I expected. Just do it. Its worth it. Itll also help you in the future if you ever need to know what it looks like behind the wall. (My inspection was for a pre-drywall). Not to mention the reports they give you are given within 24 hours. They are detailed with pictures and are perfect.Oh and I cant leave out Tammy! I think shes either part owner or front desk? But shes also awesome. Super friendly and helpful and 5 star customer service.     Ryan performed 2 home inspections for us. The first inspections he found numerous things discrepancies with the estate. So we elected not to buy. We located another home he preformed the home home inspection thoroughly in and out. We were very please with the outcome. We needed a termite inspection and he came out and preformed that inspection. When he was there he checked all of the discrepancies that the original home owner fixed after the fact. Which he did not have to do but speaks for his character. I respect his professionalism and attitude towards his job. I recommend him highly.
