I was looking for a home inspector to inspect my first home purchase and I had little guidance during the process. One thing everyone said was to find a good inspector. I came across Steve with Inspect Texas. I gave him a call and he answered right away. We scheduled for the inspection for the next day which was a Sunday. I was nervous because again this was my first purchase and I didn’t have much help. When I met Steve I immediately got a good vibe from him. He was an extremely nice, professional, and knowledgeable person. He conducted his inspection within a couple of hours going through all the specific issues he came across even very minor items which I really appreciated. I received the full inspection report by the next day which was extremely detailed which I was able to utilize to have the seller fix before the purchase. I really appreciate the service Steve provided because I was really nervous from some of the other people experience with other inspectors. I would recommend Steve and Inspect Texas 100% to anyone purchase a home. -

Look no further for a home inspector.. Steve was amazing to work with! He made himself available for an inspection the next day. He spoke with us over the phone about his general findings following the inspection, and was able to send us the full report that evening. His report was very thorough, complete with lots of photos. After receipt of the report, he was available for advice about next steps on submitting a repair request. Not to mention, his prices were very competitive. I highly recommend Steve! -

Steve with Inspect Texas was great! I called him for a new home inspection and he was able to go out the next day with a quick turnaround on his inspection report. He was very thorough and detail oriented. His prices were very competitive and affordable.I called him back after the seller fixed the items in the inspection report and Steve was able to go out the same day to reinspect the property.If we ever need another inspector we will definitely be using Inspect Texas again. I hired Mr. McElwee to have my newly built home inspected. I wanted to hire a trustworthy and reputable professional, as I was building a home to build my family and to stay in for the rest of our lives. I got Mr. McElwees information from my realtor w/ strong recommendation. When he arrived, he arrived on time, he took his time and care to inspect my home from top to bottom, and took time to answer to all my questions. At no time I was rushed. Im very satisfied with the experience with him and received a detailed report with pictures. I will hire him again for the 23rd months inspection before my builders warranty expires. Thanks, Steve! -

Steve was very friendly on the phone and came the next day to inspect my house, on a Sunday, as I was in a hurry to get things done during my option period. He was very thorough and explained things as he found them as well as showed us pictures he took. He emailed me the inspection the very next morning and it was very easy to understand. He wrote notes and included pictures of what things should look like. Great price and he also does thermal imaging which is a big deal (saved me from buying a house I would have had to make a lot of repairs on). Although I Didn’t end up getting the house due to repairs, I will definitely be using him on the next house I get inspected. Would recommend him to everyone! -

Prior to meeting Steve I had bad experiences with inspectors and thought they were a waste of money. On my recent purchase my realtor insisted that I order an inspection and recommended Steve. Since I had already sold the home I was living in and in a hurry I agreed, and Im glad I did. Steve accept my last minute inspection, but didnt take advantage of the fact that I was in a hurry. He still charged me a fair price and even called me after he completed the inspection to discuss the more prominent issues. (Ive never had an inspector do that before). The home he inspected was a townhouse, but he was still extremely thorough and spent several hours in the home. As someone who did not have favorable opinions of inspectors, IF IM HAPPY WITH STEVES WORK THEN YOU WILL BE, TOO. -
