    Huckabee Inspection did a home inspection on a house we were purchasing. The entire process from the time I called to set up the inspection until I received the report was top notch!!     Del is the inspector of all time. From the top of the roof finding Santa sled tracks to every outlet finding my little lumps of coal. It is just fantastic. Every little crack, old and missing caulk even down to the septic system, he will jump in and let me know all the good and bad things of the house we are buying. The Huckabee Inspection Group does a fantastic job. This was the second house inspected by them and as always, an honest and fair approach to everything they do.     I have used other inspectors in the past but Huckabee Inspection Group has been the best so far. Del came out and was very thorough. He took the time to go through everything.     I highly recommend the Huckabee Inspection Group. Within an hour of calling them, they had called the home seller and set up an inspection time. They gave me the choice to be there during the inspection which was nice. As soon as they were done, they called to tell me what they found and emailed a detailed report with pictures to us and our real estate agent within hours. Brandon is very knowledgeable and answered every question I had with kindness and patience. The cost is within the Texas average and definitely worth the money to make sure the home you are buying doesn’t need expensive repairs.

    We needed a “deep” inspection and that is exactly what Huckabee Inspection provided. Very professional and informative! They thoroughly went through everything. We wanted an idea of what we were up against on an older home and they gave us lots of useful information. If we had any questions they were always happy to answer!     The inspector was very professional and made the process easier. He took time to answer my questions and show me issues that arose during the inspection. They provided a detailed report a few hours after the inspection was completed. They have an online system to pay via credit or debit card before the inspection which was convenient. One inspection fell in my favor and the other did not, but in both instances the inspection accurately depicted the property. Im recommending these guys as the write up on the property was done professionally and contained no personal commentary or jargon. It was concise and compared what was present or non existent for that matter, to what the code mandates.

    Very thorough, attentive, and competent. Brandon was so helpful in giving us a detailed inspection report both by email (PDF) and on the phone. He was patient in answering our questions, and just seemed like an all around nice guy. Also, very quick to return calls (although he almost always answers on the first ring). He doesnt just disappear after the inspection is done either. He assured us that he would be available day or night to take our calls if questions came up, and also said he would be willing to return to the inspection site if we ended up wanting to cut through the floor to look at the crawlspace (the house was built and renovated to cover up the previous opening, so he wasnt able to inspect that part, though he was still able to give quite a bit of information on it based on the state of the floors, etc.). I would recommend Huckabee Inspection Group to any of my friends or family.
