    I did lots of research to try to find the best inspector we could. I was told by many people that inspections are something you shouldn’t cheap out on, and since we are buying a slightly older home, it was really important to us to find someone who is thorough and can point out any potential issues we might be getting ourselves into. I cannot say enough good things about Mark. You get the best of both worlds with him. Not only is he thorough, but he’s relatively affordable for the services he provides.He’s decorated with more certifications than any other inspector I researched.     Amazing service! Not only did Mr. Roach get my commercial building inspected the same day I called. He did it during a crazy storm that knocked out half of Houstons power. His report was easy to read, and extremely detailed with photos. I highly recommend using him for all your inspection needs residential or commercial.

Mark conducted the pre-sheet rock inspection and was prompt w/ his report which included detailed reporting and he even walked me through the home to point out the areas that he had flagged.     What a Nice and Easy experience. Being a first time home owner and having soo many questions, Mark was able to answer them all. He was very thorough in his report and walked us through every page. If we were unsure of some of the report findings he would walk us to the area on property and breakdown his findings.     I was lucky enough to see HTown Home Inspections on a google search and this has saved me thousands of dollars!I spoke to several inspection companies before selecting Mark and he was by far the most professional, knowledgeable and thorough over the phone. I booked and inspection for an older home (which I was currently renting) which took Mark about 4.5 hours to inspect. The report he wrote was very thorough with pictures, explanations as to why these items were important to rectify and was very impressive to myself and especially my realtor.Mark found many issues in the home I did not even know about, even after living there for almost 1 year. He was not rushing and took the time to show me many of the issues and explain how serious they were and how quickly they should be fixed. In the end I chose not to move forward with the purchase based largely on the inspection results and resulting quotes from contractors.As a first time home buyer, this process is daunting enough without having to worry about surprises after buying a home and with Mark, there will be no surprises.     Mark Roach has now inspected two homes that I have had under contract. The inspection report can be pretty intimidating but Mark is very good at breaking down the important issues from those that are likely not as big of an issue.     Mark is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He inspected an older home being purchased and found several items of concern not found on a pre-sale inspection that seemed very thorough. His ability to use the FLIR camera to find hidden water and air intrusion or leaks adds a new dimension to the inspection that most inspectors don’t offer. In short, he sees much more than others. He does instant reporting and provides guidance to a home buyer during the walk through. I would not hesitate to use Mark again or recommend him to anyone. For roughly the same price as other inspection companies, they tested the sprinkler system (which was good they did because problems were found!) and they also used heat mapping throughout the home.I called Mark this morning and he was able to start the inspection this afternoon. They don’t just find one thing wrong and call it a “full house inspection”.They make sure they check your roof, the foundation, your electrical panel, the whole nine yards!
