Ruben came highly recommended by our realtor and was able to inspect the house that we made an offer on with very short notice. He showed up right on time and did a very thorough job. With the house being built in the 50s, we had some concerns about things like the roof, foundation, and electric. He was very patient in answering all of our questions and let me follow him around to ask lots of questions throughout the inspection. He even let me follow him up onto the roof and gave me advice about issues that may come up with the insurance company after we closed. He was very honest in his opinions of the condition of the home which went a long way in helping us make our decision. Throughout the closing process and after we moved in we have called Ruben several times to ask him questions about some of the issues he pointed out in the inspection and he has always been super responsive and helpful. During the inspection he told us, once I inspect your home, Im your inspector for life and offered to give us some guidance through future home projects and renovations to make sure we were having things done right and for a reasonable price. Having Ruben inspect our home was one of the best decisions we made in the home buying process. Knowing that we can give him a call with a question or ask for advice even after weve moved in has given us great peace of mind as new homeowners. I have finally found a REAL Home Inspector!! Ruben was very thorough in his inspection. He was very detailed and explained even the most complex things in terms where I could understand. He was very professional and showed that he cared not only about his customer but that the home would be safe and not a fire risk.The inspection was done very timely (Saturday with one day notice) and a the report was delivered the next day! I highly recommend Hook and Ladder Inspections. They took the time to go over every little thing that was unsafe or hazardous. Some of the things he checked were windows, electricity, plumbing, ac, attic, garage, outlets, stove, dish washer, vents, microwave, toliet, water heater, chimney, and many more. Ruben explained why these issues occur over time and what could be done to fix them. He was very professional and knowledgable. I also got my report the same day as my inspection! He is very quick to respond to messages or phone calls. Which I liked a lot. My inspector was on time and when we were done he said if I have any questions to call and they would be happy to answer it ! Very pleased with the work he provided and would definitely recommend him to friends and family !
