    Working with Corey was a pleasant experience. He was diligent, professional, and showed compassionate in explaining the results.     We were looking for a house to buy in Nacogdoches and I found Home Team via Google. Living in the Dallas and unable to drive down just to talk face to face with inspector, I thought Id go with a company with good reviews. I called and James said he could get to it within a couple days and that he would work with our realtor to gain access to the property. He did the inspection the next day and I had a complete, thorough, and detailed report in my email that evening. I called the next day to review it and he answered all of my questions and even offered to send me some contacts for general contractors in the area to help with the repairs needed. Running a service industry business myself, I tend to look at the service and professionalism of others I do business with with a critical eye so to speak. James and his team are exactly what I look for in all metrics of performance. I highly recommend them.

    James is thorough — he takes him time to check everything, and explains as he goes. While his report is computer generated, he adds specific details about what is done well, as well what needs to be finished or fixed or might need to be checked on down the road. He also took time to explain how our aerobic septic system worked, what to watch out for, and even told us the effects fire ants could have on the system if we weren’t careful. Even though it is a brand new build and we love our house and appreciate the builder’s effort and vision, we would still recommend HomeTeam — because we found out things about our home that we would have had to learn on our own, not just what might to be altered, completed, watched, was was well-done.

    Inspector was very clear explaining his observations during the inspection, not only indicating details on the house that needed to be addressed but indicating the magnitude/importance of those details and whether those needed to be fixed right away.
