The home is not large, about 1800sqft, yet we received a 36 page report not filled with deficiencies but also containing tons of useful information a homeowner should be aware of. We currently are under contract for a house in Friendswood, and were recommended Clay with GraceHIS from a family friend whos a realtor. My wife tagged along with Clay as he went through his inspection and identified and fully explained several of the issues he found, their severity, and what he would do if it were my house in laymans terms. Clay answered all of her questions, and gave us a great report on the house with lots of great recommendations and courses of action, within 24 hours of the inspection. It was a little expensive compared to the market, but this is the biggest purchase weve ever made, so it was very much worth it and saved us a lot of future heartache (and gave us peace of mind). Highly recommend!

We found Clay through ASHIs Certified Inspector search, and he was absolutely amazing during our new construction final inspection. He always had a timely response to our communications and showed up on time to our inspection. He then started the inspection by clearly telling us what to expect, and throughout the inspection, he made sure to stop and ask if we had any questions. As first-time home buyers, we really appreciated how we could walk through the house with him and how he made sure we understood all aspects of our home--not just the issues he ended up writing in his report.While we can never know whether he found every issue, he definitely found many issues in our new construction, which the builder agreed to fix. The AC unit was broken, but that didnt stop Clay from doing a thorough inspection in 90+ degree heat. He sent the final report within the time frame we needed it, and our construction manager really liked his report.If we ever need another inspection, we will definitely call Clay.

We had first noticed Grace Home Inspection Services when we were provided the previous inspection on the home we were buying. It was so detailed and thorough and I was so impressed that I felt like I needed Clay to do our inspection on the home. We contacted Clay with a very narrow window of time to complete the inspection and get the results to us. Clay worked us in as soon as possible. He also told us that he wouldnt look at his previous inspection of the home until he had finished our inspection. He wanted to make sure he wasnt moved in one direction or the other and instead did an inspection as if he had never seen the home before. He also provided us with the report the same day, which in my experience is unheard of. That allowed us to get the sellers working on the issues ASAP. Clays inspections are incredibly professional and detailed and he follows up with a phone call and encourages you to ask any questions about the report you want. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE.
