Gary is extremely thorough when it comes to his job. He caught a big issue that our builder had missed, along with some very minor details that nobody other than him had noticed - which shows how detail oriented he is. He did an analysis of our roof using his drone with captured things that could not be noticed just by climbing on to the roof, along with heat analysis to verify that our HVAC was working correctly. Gary did a wonderful job and I would use him again, as well as refer him to others.

Within a couple of hours of making the request, Gary called me (on a Sunday evening, no less) and explained the process and took the time to ask if we had any specific concerns or needs. Less than 24 hours after our offer on our future home had been accepted we had the inspection report in hand. The report was very thorough and easy to understand. His report was instrumental in bringing issues to light for the seller and in helping me to negotiate a fair resolution to potential and current problems. This isn’t my first rodeo: I’ve purchased homes in the past and have been underwhelmed by other inspectors and I ended up facing costly repairs that were missed. Gary did such a thorough inspection job for us when we purchased an older home last year, that naturally we chose to use him again when we found our 44 year old forever home last week! Real estate is HOT right now, but somehow Gary managed to squeeze us in a few days after the contract was signed (even offering to do the inspection on a Sunday). It took about 3 hours to thoroughly inspect our 2300 sq ft home (from the soil up to the rafters). Gary also provided 2 reports; the official TREC report and a more detailed one with pictures we could enlarge for detail. Very reasonably priced & easy to work with!

Gary recently inspected my home in Fort Worth. The overall experience was outstanding. Gary was relatively easy to contact and arrange an appointment. He is a certified home inspector. Excellent communication skills both verbally and via email/website/text messages. Checked everything in my home. He examined my home for over two hours. After the inspection, he showed me personally everything that needs work around my home. He collected very detailed photos (Natural Color and Thermal) of all issues including using a UAS/Drone pics from various angles around the exterior of my home. He provided a very detailed report within two days of the inspection. The report is easy to read and makes specific recommendations. I highly recommend using Gary West for home inspections.

Our option on buying our first house came with a very short turnaround, so I found Go West on Google as I was calling to see who could come for an inspection with extremely short notice. My wife and I were driving in from a few hours away and we were able to meet Gary at the property, already at work taking pictures and making notes. He showed us things that were very cool and things that needed work and the more pressing concerns, he was impartial and incredibly thorough. Our realtor was texting us asking for the report as soon as possible, and Gary sent us a 31-page detailed breakdown with pictures, in less than 48 hours from when I FIRST CALLED TO SCHEDULE. Incredible service! Our realtor said she loves him too! Might have turned into the best investment out of buying the whole house, and thats no exaggeration. Hopefully this particular house works out, but if not, I know Go West will be looking at our next potential home!

As a first time home buyer, the process can be pretty complicated and Gary made the inspection portion incredibly simple. All I had to do was provide the address and he did the rest.The report the Gary produced was not only detailed and professional, but also delivered promptly. His website provides a PDF and web version of the report for easy viewing, and being able to see the report the same day of the inspection laid to rest some fears about the property under contract. Also, his rate is actually lower than the average price according to a quick google search.All in all, Im very satisfied with the inspection provided by Gary. If for whatever reason the house that Im currently looking at doesnt go through, I know Ill be giving him a call to inspect the next house.

What an awesome experience, from the first phone call to receiving the final inspection report! Gary was very professional, courteous, and an all-around nice guy to work with. He completely understood that time, accuracy, and thoroughness were of the essence when it came to escrow schedules. He was very accommodating in terms of getting out to the property in time, and generated a highly detailed report shortly thereafter. I was purchasing a brand new structure, so there was only a small window of opportunity between completion of the project and close of escrow, during which the inspection, repairs, and reinspection needed to be done. The inspection report was the best Ive ever seen, as it included explanations and diagrams (so I would understand what the issues were) and didnt miss a thing. Garys fees were very reasonable, too, and it was a breeze to pay online through his Quickbooks payment option in his invoice. I have ZERO complaints, and recommend Go West Home Inspections wholeheartedly!

Be the report of things needing repair to even the slightest details that we can address later to even saving pictures of the inspection to assist with warranty time to be sure we dont have issues developing before that period expires.
