As we prepare to close on our new construction home it was important to my wife and I that we had a professional Inspector involved in the process. My sister had just used this company and said that Michael Street was awesome. I called the company and we were immediately put on the schedule for service within 3 days.My builder was concerned because most inspectors take a few days to draw up a report and we are schedule to close just 4 days after the day of inspection. This generally does not leave enough time to make the necessary corrections from the report. Michael sent me the report within minutes of completion. He also took the time to go through the major issues with me and explain in detail his concerns and recommendations.The report was very detailed with colored photos. It was very easy for me to just forward the email to my builder so that they could begin working on the items before closing on the house. I would recommend this company to anyone buying a home or even looking to fix their house before selling. Their customer service and professionalism is exceptional.

On top of not really knowing what to look for as far as building code, electrical code, plumbing code, hvac code and the many more codes that are involved with the purchase of a new home Lane was 100% on point with all information given upon completion of independent inspection of my new home. He found countless issues that would have cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars.Lane and I sat down together after his inspection and talked about each aspect of his findings in detail. He took time to answer all my questions and even said I could call him after the fact for any further questions he knew I would have. I needed an inspection with little notice, and Michael was able to respond to me quickly and work with my schedule. He was knowledgeable about every step in the process and was very helpful in getting me the information I and my real estate agent needed for my buyers home inspection. He listened to the concerns I had based on a preinspection I had performed, and tailored his inspection to that, working with me on price to include extra tests I wanted without the ones I didnt. He also didnt dwell on small details I had expressed disinterest in, and instead focused more attention on the structural and functional aspects as I had requested. The final report is easy to understand and thorough, and he helped me to negotiate important repairs on the home. The seller ended up agreeing to all of them based on Michaels recommendations.

The final report was thorough, easily and immediately accessible, and Michael and Carl were as professional as it gets. Their website is impeccable, as is their scheduling software and their responsiveness to texts and emails. Slightly pricier than some competitors, but also seemed more thorough than most, and ultimately I felt it was worth the peace of mind. Hopefully we get our house and dont have to use a home inspector again for a while, but if we do, I know who we will call! I was wondering how their ratings on all sites could be 5 stars. Michael of Fidelity was a true professional for our new construction project. I was able to combine two inspections, a stud stage and final, into one package. Michael provided a comprehensive report for both inspections which caused the builder bring in another crew to correct items Michael discovered. He provided video and pictures which for us was fantastic since we were building while living out of the country. His company is a true gem that has the integrity and character I wish every business had. He even verified repairs were made from the stud stage inspection prior to drywall. He was worth every penny. All I had to do was give him the contact information for the builder and say go. I plan to tell all my neighbors in the new subdivision to get Michael out to conduct an inspection prior to 1st full warranty expiration. Call this expert...Hell save you time and money. Micheal came out within one day of requesting his services. He was very thorough with his inspection. After the inspection was completed he went over every item in detail and not only educated me on things I didn’t know but also gave good recommendations on how to fix them. The home he inspected was an old 1960s built single story home. He seemed to be very knowledgeable about what to look for in these old homes. After making an offer on our first home, we were told we needed to have an inspection done. My husband has been networking for two years, and he told me he had an inspector he wanted to use from one of his groups. He said that most inspections were done in an hour, but Michael was known to take upwards of four. The initial appointment was made. When we informed our mortgage lender of the date, she suggested that we get it done sooner if possible. My husband call Michael, and rescheduled for an earlier date. Michael graciously obliged.I let the realtor know when he would be there, so that she could open the house. I told her Michael was scheduled to come at 8. She said great, she would be there to let him in, and then she would come back at nine to lock up. I let her know that Michael would most certainly not be done in one hour. She was shocked when I told her it might be four hours.My husband showed up at the house at 8 for the appointment, and didn’t call me until 12:30 to let me know it was done. We received the report a few hours later. The next day I called Michael, as I had some questions and needed some guidance. He answered, told me he was in the middle of an inspection, and to send him my contact info. He told me he would call me when he was done, that he was going to be on the road for an hour, and would dedicate that time to answering all of my questions.When Michael called back, he answered all of my questions and explained things to me that I was unsure of. I asked for his opinion on how to counter with the seller. He gave me verbatim what I should ask for. He offered me some guidance on the art of negotiating. In the end, he was able to save us $2,500.

Hi, just wanted to let you know of the positive experience I had with Mike. I had a floor installed recently in our new home needless to say the installer informed me that the wood was bad. (Ok I know whats bad?) The wood was not milled correctly from the factory so that meant small gaps between each piece. Just a word of advice when purchasing wood for your new project inspect it if possible and if its defective talk to the store about their policy for return or exchange. Husband and I are purchasing new home remotely due to pcsing military. After searching Google I found fidelity home inspection and combed through the reviews, after seeing all the great reviews I called them. My appointment was made for that upcoming monday. Even though we couldnt be there we are able to rest assure in our home purchase because the inspection was very detailed that we are able to go to the buyer and have them fix what would of cost us thousands if we just purchased site unseen or even flew out there to do our own walk through.
