We found Fidelity Home Inspection on our own after being given a list of home inspectors in our area but trusting our judgment instead. We are glad we did! Our inspector Justin was very thorough and professional. He answered all of our questions, explained what he was doing and how things worked around the house. We are first-time buyers so our experience with Justin was extremely valuable. We also loved how efficient and streamlined the whole process was—from setting up the appointment, getting someone to inspect the house and receiving a detailed report with photos. It practically took one day! We have lifetime access to the report and can click for recommendations. We will definitely hire this company again for any future inspection.

Michael did a complete home inspection on a property we are in the process of buying. I have over 20 years of construction experience and 30 years of engineering experience and I asked Michael some really pointed questions. What I found out is that Michael is incredibly knowledgeable about home inspecting, has a deep understanding of what Texas homes experience as they age, can compare the home he is inspecting to other homes in the area, and a wealth of history of the various home builders in the San Antonio and Austin area. He has just about seen it all. There is always trepidation when catapulting funds to a person you have never met and who you are going to rely on to generate an accurate and applicable report that will most likely be for the largest investment you will make in your life. I whole heartedly endorse Michael and the Fidelity Home Inspection team.

I know he saved me from buying a money pit. I am sure someone could renovate that house, but I expected a fairly good report with nothing more than need for paint and some minor repairs. Michael identified many major system issues. I considered renegotiating with seller and to make major repairs but decided to walk away. The report helped me make that decision. Fidelity home inspections did a good job at identifying various issues we had with our home. They provided a comprehensive report with all the issues and it was more than the other company we hired. Unfortunately, there were a few key items that were missed after we moved into the home. After being made aware, the company made it a point to understand what was missed, any communication gaps and areas of improvement. I applaud the owner for also reaching out, standing by the quality of the team’s work and learning from my experience. Overall, while the inspection price may be higher than others, the company leadership stands by their work. This is especially important, as I had to purchase the home remotely.

To keep it short- Michael was professional, knowledgeable and an expert in his craft. This was a 1 year warranty inspection, I wish I would have known about Fidelity before I went with another company for my initial inspection. Best home inspectors in San Antonio!There is a reason this company has a 5.0 across the board- they deserve it. From the first phone call, to the inspector leaving, it was painless and headache free. This is one of the only companies that act like the true professionals they are. I was scheduled for Tuesday, but Michael took the initiative to try and get me in Monday since his schedule allowed for it. From before he even arrived the communication was frequent and helpful and even took the time to get to know me a little bit. The features of the inspection I liked the most- Thermal imaging, foundation assessment tools, and a talk-through of the report. Each item was listed with a picture, the reason why it was marked, and some solutions to remedy the problem. When I was researching the company, I was intrigued by the 5.0 star reviews over their hundreds of reviews, something you hardly see. They earned the review, earned my business, and referrals to other people for being thorough and experts in their craft!

It turned out to be the best decision, as this is a great opportunity to get a clear-eyed assessment on a very expensive purchase.Michael Street was the prefect inspector to perform this job. We purchased the property online so we relied heavily on him since we are currently living across the Pacific. Although the home has minor findings, there were a couple items he recommended. Went under contract for a home on Monday (first time homebuyers), called around for a few home inspection quotes on Tuesday, and decided to go with Fidelity. He was able to fit us in the same day, in what I’m sure was a super busy schedule, but just shows the extent that Michael goes for a customer. We’re extremely grateful!He was super responsive, giving a call to walk me through what to expect on a home inspection. Even provided a sample report of common issues to expect in the area we’re buying. I have bought properties for more than 50 years and was just recently introduced to Fidelity Home Inspection. My realtor gave me the names of the Inspection Companies most used in our area, and I did my own research. I read the reviews online and their ratings exceeded those of competitors by a sizable margin. I experienced good feelings early in the process, when I first went to their website and began the process of setting an appointment. Almost before I could complete their form, I received a call from one of their employees. She explained the pricing of their various plans and the optional add-on services they offer. Their bundles saved me money and I was able to get them to perform services that would have required me to use multiple vendors. I was able to get a quick turnaround on my appointment which was important as I had a limited amount of time to discover issues that would require negotiation with the seller. The inspector was at the property early and went straight to work. Following the inspection, the inspector provided me with a report that detailed not only items that would require further negotiation but also noted the cosmetic items that were noted as he went through the property. The report was completed online and in a form that was easily shareable with the seller and the realtors involved with the transaction. As an added feature, costs estimated are available for a nominal fee, that is saving me hours of research and money in my purchase transaction. They are the best I’ve ever used.

Super friendly, explained different options and what is typically recommended- no push to add on items, easy to get scheduled in a timely manner. Great reminder emails and texts and Brian and Mike were on time. They were efficient and thorough finding items within the interior of the home as well as the exterior. They listened to my list of concerns with items in the home and investigated further.The report was generated on site and they went through it with us answering any questions we had. The ease of this process was great. I was able to type up an email and send it with the report over to the home warranty. Several people in our neighborhood have used Fidelity and only have excellent things to say. I cant recommend them highly enough! Customer service, friendliness, and top notch services provided and second to none. I am beyond pleased with my recent home inspection performed by Michael Street, with the Fidelity Home Inspection company. Michael was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and professional from the initial scheduling until the post inspection review. I am weeks away from purchasing a newly constructed home, and Michael meticulously discovered 56 material and 15 serious discrepancies that would have costs me thousands in repair costs later. His discovery came days before my new buyer’s orientation with the builder, so I was equipped with all the visual and written documentation that I needed for the builder to repair the home prior to closing. Michael also gave me the option to have him return for a post repair inspection to ensure all agreed upon repairs were made by the builder. We ended up going with this company just due to the overwhelming number of positive reviews and the amount of detail people discussed in the reports they received. We were a bit worried about that just due to being out of town and not being able to walk around with the inspector but Michael came out and we were able to have our realtor and a friend join him. He didnt rush going through any of this and called us, made sure we were able to pull up the report online, and then walked us through all of the findings but also provided the areas that were more serious than others. The home inspector recommended my friends was not available and I was looking for a really experienced and knowledgeable home inspector my first home. The home was occupied by the tenant and it was really hard to find a time window convenient for the tenant. Michael not only adjusted to the schedule on a very short notice but he also arrived before me. He took the initiative and obtained permission from the tenant to inspect the interior while waiting for me. He did really a very thorough inspection of a house where tenant was currently living with all their stuff. He found his way to do his great job. At the same time he was answering to all my silliest questions too. At the end of the inspection he prepared two reports : a summary and a detailed report and explained to me very well. We had finally found our dream home in a gated community in NW San Antonio. It was built in 2007 and seemed to be a quality home. I really was not expecting the inspection to show many problems. I met with Carl Johnson to go over his findings and this was the best money I have ever spent. The roof, the A/C, one of the water heaters, the water softener and multiple windows needed repair or replacement. He showed me where preventative maintenance had not been completed. The camera inspection of the pipes leading out to the street was obscured by grease which was especially concerning due to a large tree in the front yard with a well established root system. Carl took his time going over the report and explained what needed to be done to get the best value for our money. He was knowledgeable about local building codes and reviewed what the industry standard was for repairs that had been done. Carl discussed the positives he found in the home as well which will be of benefit as we resume our home search. I will be using Fidelity Home Inspection on the next home we put earnest money on and will request Carl as the inspector.I also need to mention the kindness and efficiency of Lisa who scheduled the inspection, reviewed what to expect and answered multiple questions.

We got the general home inspection plus foundation settlement plotting and a termite inspection. This is the most weve ever spent on an inspection but it was well worth the money and peace of mind. The report we received was very thorough and detailed and allowed us to receive $3k plus termite treatment back from the seller despite a very competitive sellers market. Michael and Carl completed a home inspection on a house my parents are buying in San Antonio but they live out of state. The website is very informative and allowed me to set up an appointment even though the office was close. Michael and Carl were early to the appointment and were about halfway through when my husband and I with our infant son showed up at the house. Hes a San Antonio Home Inspector and probably the best one out there.
