During our search to purchase our first home we used East Texas Home inspection inspectors to help us. We liked the first report so much we had them look at 2 more homes, and they were very accommodating. We had the pleasure to work with their inspectors Robbie and Adam each at different properties, and they both brought the same great customer service and knowledge. They were very thorough and did not seem to mind that we were there, and polite enough to explain things to us if we had any questions regarding their findings. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home. -

They are very good at their job. We had not had an exterminator in a year. It was a big job, they even came back a second time at no charge. You typically have the exterminators cell phone number and if they are running late or early or you have a question, it’s easy peasy. -

East Texas Home Inspections did an awesome job on a recent inspection we had performed on a prospective house we were going to purchase. Ian was on time, very professional, and listened to all of my specific concerns that I wanted him to specifically check out. He provided us with an extensive written report on all of his findings and concerns. He noticed that there were some structural issues with the roof and found out the reasoning with incorrect framing in the attic. He strongly suggested we have a roofer/framer come out and take a look at it. After talking with a very experienced roofer, he pointed out multiple areas that were done incorrectly and said that the support system was not stable and strongly encouraged us not to purchase the home. Thanks to Ian getting up on the roof and walking around and being thorough with his framing inspection in the attic, we withdrew our contract.We probably saved tens of thousands of dollars in structural repairs. We will definitely request his services for future home inspections!! -

Very thorough inspection by Zachary Kelley. His report was extremely detailed and the included pictures helped tremendously. Because of his inspection, the seller agreed to complete some plumbing repairs. The remaining issues were ones I feel comfortable correcting myself. In this regard, I feel confident using that report to check off all of the recommended repairs as I complete them. The communications from Zachary, as well as from East Texas Home Inspection and Pest Control, were professional and timely. They kept me in the loop throughout the process. I would feel comfortable recommending them, and Zachary specifically, to others in need of a home inspection. -

I am very happy with my experience with this company. Sandy Harris was the inspector that came recommended through my realtor and I was able to get a next-day inspection with him on a house I was to buy. He was as thorough as possible as he was unable to access some attic and under house areas and very informative. I chose not to buy the house because of the safety issues and areas that needed extensive repair that he found. The photos backed him up. From what Ive heard, their fee is average but, from my experience with them, well worth it. -

I cant speak for everyone else but I can say that I read the other reviews and was hesitating on this business. I am glad that I didnt go off of what others say that they experienced. I had an inspection did on a home that I intended to purchase. I wasnt present during the inspection which helped make me a little more concern about how the inspection would go. My inspector (Evan McWhorter) was awesome!!! He kept me informed throughout the time frame of my inspection. When the inspection was over he called me with same day results. I was well pleased with him because he helped me to save a lot of money. He dug deep and found a ton of things that I wouldnt have ever guessed that was going on with the house because the house looked absolutely beautiful. He was really informative and very kind! I definitely will use them again and ask for this specific inspector. What an amazing job!!! -

Chris Turnbow was the inspector for a home my husband and I are buying. He was very diligent about checking every nook and cranny of the house. He did a full home, termite and sprinkler system inspection. He went over the whole report with me before he left the house and explained what each deficiency was and examples on how to fix the problem. The price for the whole inspection was very reasonable, and the office staff who scheduled the inspection were easy to reach and good at communicating with me regarding any schedule changes that needed to be made due to the snow storm . -

I loved Collins (the inspector) attention to detail and his explanations of everything he found. The inspection report was detailed with what I need to know. Once the meeting of the inspection was over, Collin definitely left me feeling so comfortable about the home me and family will be moving into. Great experience with this inspection company. We used Scott Kelley to inspect a duplex. He did a great job of communicating the day we ordered the inspection and the day the appraisal was done. He texted to let us know what time he would arrive and connected with our real estate agent as well. He texted an hour before to remind us and although we could not be on the property at the time of inspection, he did much more than the minimal inspection. He took time to note many things that will end up saving us money and made sure to tell us the important things to keep in mind. Some inspectors do the least they can but this was the opposite of Scott’s work. What really blew me away was the fact that Scott came to my place of work to pick up the check to pay for the inspection because they could not use my discover card at the time. Outstanding job. I would and will use Scott again on future home inspections. He did much more than was needed and I think that that is important with this kind of work. -

I will be new to using a Septic system and he clearly explained how the system was supposed to work, how it is supposed to alert you when issues arise, and common maintenance that is needed. You will be very lucky to get Zachary as your home inspector! -

Jimmy Su did our home inspection. We were beyond happy with the thorough and orofesprofes job that was done. Jimmy took his time to go over in detail everything that he discovered during the inspection. He sat and went over any questions or concerns we had. I dont think the process could have went any better for us. If we need a home inspection again no questions asked we would use the same company and same inspector. You will have no regrets choosing them for your home inspection. -

Inspector Hilbun was a Godsend! Prior to the inspection of the home, he took the time to ask me if I had any areas of concern. When I explained how important his role was in my particular case because I was coming from California and had only seen the property virtually, he listened and assured me he would give me his best professional assessment. Inspector Hilbun did exactly that. If it hadn’t been for his thoroughness and his honesty, I would have purchased a home that had extensive termite damage! I am an out of town buyer and couldnt be there for the actual inspection. Christopher was thorough. He had understandable comments. I feel confident in my buying decision because Christopher gave me a total picture. And his follow-up was great. Chad did my home inspection and was extremely thorough. He was there almost five hours. If there was something he could see, he would take a photo. He went through all of the photos he took with me and explained what I was seeing and why he took the photo. He also explained how he would build the report. I received the completed report later that evening. They do not charge extra for crawl spaces and they do offer WDI inspections. Out of the places I called, their fee was the lowest. -
