Exceptional Service from Janice Butler at David Weekley HomesI have had the pleasure of working with Janice Butler from David Weekley Homes on multiple occasions, and I must say, she is nothing short of amazing. Janices dedication to the communities she represents, the homes she sells, and the people who reside there is truly admirable and evident in every interaction. Janice goes above and beyond to ensure buyers and their agents receive top-notch service throughout the entire process. As a real estate professional, it is refreshing to work with a builder that welcomes collaboration and keeps me informed.

09/23/2019:The David Weekley Homes staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Between the 50 and 65 lots there is a lot of choices on various floorplans. When we got to the design phase there were a lot of different choices there as well. Unfortunately for us we were on a limited budget with our build but that did not deter the DWH staff in the least. They worked with us knowing what our budget was to find the upgrades we wanted while also keeping us under budget. We signed on our house prior to the model in The Colony Riverside being opened which was no problem. My wife and I met the DWH staff at the model home just a few miles away at their Pecan Park model home in Bastrop. They are closing out there and will be moving their staff over to The Colony Riverside as soon as the model home there is completed. This will be our third house but first build... So far the build experience with DWH has been awesome! Will try to keep this updated as we go along this journey.11/26/2019:They have the forms set for our foundation and have the sewer pipes set within the forms. They have sealed all the pipes and are testing for leaks. Looks like the water line is ran up to the forms and they are also testing it for leaks.Since my initial review, we have had a design meeting worked out all our interior choices. For me what I liked leading up to that was the ability to look at all the prices in the My David Weekly Home webpage for our home. You get a account for this webpage after signing the papers with the sales people early on in the process and the webpage is specifically for your home. So once you get logged in you can go to the Wishlist section under Design and Build area of the webpage. The user interface of the Wishlist section of the webpage is a little hard to use and some options are not in a logical location. However I believe this is due to how the My David Weekly Homes webpages integrate directly with the sales and design staff application. I was able to point the design staff directly to an option we wanted using the navigation from My David Weekly Homes webpage for our home. This is just to say that I think this part of the My David Weekly Homes webpage for the homes could use some TLC but I definitely still liked having the ability to see all the options and their prices for our home.If you do wind up buying a home from David Weekly Homes, which I recommend from our experience so far, take the time to check out all your options in the Wishlist prior to your design meeting. After we finalized the design of our house, they then scheduled the first of several meetings that we will have with our builder. Another thing I like so far with David Weekly Homes so far is having the phone numbers not only to the sales person but to our builder as well. During the initial build build meeting both the sales staff and the builder encouraged multiple times to contact them if we have any questions. They prefer to have a really good line of communication with us. As a part of that, we have a meeting via phone scheduled with the sales staff for them to give us updates on the progress and for us to ask questions.Ill check back and update this again a little later in this process.

Really nice homes, great community and amenities but we just couldnt deal with HOAs and having your neighbors house right outside your window. Really nice homes though.
