    David and his son Chris came out to help me with a spring tune up on my system. They were very thorough and gave me a walkthrough of my system so I can be informed on what to look for in case of any issues with drainage or my new float switch system. They are kind, knowledgeable, and efficient, and local to Fort Worth which I love! I am a happy and loyal customer to this great team.

    David is amazing. Temperatures between 107-110 degrees outside and our old AC unit quit. He worked us into his schedule to diagnose the problem, walked me through it so I understood and gave us options for replacing the unit. On installation day, he Showed up early and had our new unit installed and running before the afternoon heat set in. Cannot recommend a more honest and ethical guy.

    I have used these guys for over 15 years. They have come on holidays when my old system needed work. They installed a new system for me in June 2020 and it is working wonderfully! I had my old A/C worked on and they were always very expedient in getting it up and and running until it was just too old so I had them replace it.     David Thompson, Owner who also does the Air-Conditioning / Heating and also Torrey, his associate are extremely professional, they know exactly what they are doing when working on or replacing any unit or system.They go above and beyond to be sure everything is done correctly.     I love this company. They are very respectful, honoring, and professional. They are also honest. They came in after my a/c when out and believed that a control board was the problem. After testing it was some wiring in the inside of the house and they fixed it. They left and never charged me a dime for it. Side note it is worth the money I pay for the club membership. With that membership they come out twice a year to do maintenance and if some does happen its like half the cost. I love these guys.

    Many years ago my heat quit. I found what I thought was wrong and changes a part. Still didnā€™t work. I called David. He came, located the problem, and fixed it. Cool BUT it was the way he fixed it. It was open when he arrived. We went to Home Depot and got the part, cheaper than him driving home to get the part. Lastly, he asked, if I wanted to close it up. Again cheaper. Iā€™ve never forgotten.Another time, his company fixed a problem with my air conditioning. Price was reasonable air worked great. End of story? No! Weeks late I got a check for $10. They had mistakenly over charged me. How many companies would do that? David Thompson would! Great man, great family, great company!

    Of course, at the most inconvenient time, weatherwise, the compressor in one of my Heat Pumps - the biggest one, of course - failed. I contacted Thompsons and they responded very quickly, diagnosed the problem - a failed compressor. Given the age of the Heat Pump, I decided to replace the unit. Thompsons located a new unit, removed the old unit and installed its replacement professionally, and most importantly, quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Thompsons to anyone!

Not needing emergency services, I called to schedule preventative maintenance and even set up a routine service with them as we head into the summer months in Texas. Confirmed appointment times, dates, etc.- no tech ever arrived. I waited to hear from the company for a reason why no one came to the appointment, still havenā€™t heard a thing and that was 9 days ago. In that 9 days, Iā€™ve called three times and emailed as well. Come to find out they donā€™t answer the phones at the actual office- they have an answering service. Iā€™m okay with that because the last business I owned used a similar service, BUT theyā€™re not returning their calls or messages about a missed appointment.Iā€™m sure theyā€™re great at what they do, but no-showing and then not responding is unacceptable.1-star************Update 1 day after post. David, the owner reached out to profusely apologize and offer rescheduling for service and even a free tune-up. It means the world to even hear back at this point. While I wonā€™t be a customer, the customer service response from the owner let me understand what happened and his commitment to his customers as the final answer is something he stands by and proves.4-stars

    Weā€™ve used Thompsonā€™s Cooling and Heating to revive our old HVAC unit for 15 years. We arrived back home from summer vacation in 2015 and found that our unit had finally gone belly up (25 year old unit.) Fortunately, thanks to David Thompsonā€™s timely advice during our spring tune up, we had already solicited proposals for a new unit from a few reputable companies. During our research, we learned that its very important to choose a knowledgeable and experienced company to install a new HVAC unit. We wanted a very dependable unit that we could count on to hopefully provide trouble free high level service for years to come. Mr. Thompson taught HVAC repair and installation for years before opening his own company. His proposal was very competitive, and he and his crew were both professional and respectful of our property.     Oct. 30, 2019David made sure I had my heating problem fixed. He came over and made sure everything was working properly and explained to me what was causing the problem. He squeezed me in his booked schedule because he knew my elderly Mother was living with me and she needed heat in the house during these colder days. Also, with the one year Labor guarantee still in effect, he didnt charge me for it.June 3, 2019David was very professional and friendly. He was certainly an expert when it came to A/C systems and Heat pumps. His book was very informative and helped me understand what to ask and what to research before commiting to a project. After replacing my system, he made sure everything was in order and he eventually found a small leak which he had fixed immediately. I will definitly call him again for tune-ups and repairs.

    I have used David Thompson and his technicians at Thompsons Cooling & Heating for over ten years. About ten years ago a business I was operating had the air conditioner fail at an office off Hulen Street in Fort Worth. Thompsons responded - fixed the problem and kept it running. And they did all this quickly and at a reasonable price. We lived in a neighborhood off of Bryant Irvin in Fort Worth. Thompsons maintained our units with their twice a year service plan. And when it came time for new units they helped us get credits and installed a great unit. We now live in Aledo and Thompsons continues to provide great service. The builder had designed the house without enough cooling to the master bedroom. Thompsons installed expanded ducting to improve the cooling. This year during their check-up, when told that the bedroom was better but still not cooling as well as the rest of the house, Thompsons improved the vent outlet.
