    Ryan at Temperature Pro came out to replace a damper at my daughter’s condo. When he got there we were told it did not need to be replaced. It had been installed wrong and he corrected it.     This was our 2nd time using Temperature Pros. Heidi was kind and got us scheduled the very next day. David texted when he was on the way and he showed up on-time. He was very nice and professional. He worked quickly and gave me a diagnosis within minutes. He went over the estimate with me and was able to complete the work in minutes. I signed up for their maintenance plan which saved me the $75 diagnostic fee and 15% discount on the repair. Highly recommend these guys!!!

    My air conditioner drain line kept getting clogged and overflowing onto the ceiling. I called Temperature Pros and they came out the next day as scheduled.Dave diagnosed the issue and reconfigured the drain line with more slope and installed a shut off sensor to prevent damage to the system in the future. Very reasonable price and professional service. Highly recommended!

    Arturo was right on time. He is a polite and friendly man who knows what he is doing. He performed our yearly maintenance as well as diagnosed and repaired our AC problem in no time at all.     I would like to recognize and appreciate TemperaturePro HVAC Technician David’s hard work and efforts to not only identify the problem but also resolve it. The HVAC work conditions are not always ideal in the hot attic space during the summer heat.David was patient and proficient in finding the clogged pipeline for the condensate water collecting in the drip pan, clearing the primary and secondary drainage and also installing flow switches so that water can find its way through the pipelines.I would like to commend David’s professional communication skills before and after the job was done. He got the AC running again and made sure every aspect of the AC was working great! 👍When the AC system breaks down in hot summer, we are usually just looking for a good reliable company to send knowledgeable good technicians to identify and resolve the problem without some fear-based sales pitch to add more expenses to the home owner. David did just the right things & provided excellent service today and got the system running! Thanks so much!! 👍

    Arturo explained to me the reasons why I had a clogged AC drain and how to prevent this in the future. This is advice I should have had at installation or at least on Sping|Fall service visits. He gave me answers that a “science guy” like me could understand but simple enough that any homeowner could understand. I would recommend that a sheet of maintenance procedures (filters, drain purging, etc.) should be given to all new customers (especially those from the north). Due to excessive heat AC units are used a lot more in Austin.Kudos to Arturo!

    From calling to book an appointment with Heidi to our promptly scheduled service from Stuart, this was a positive experience. Stuart diagnosed our problem quickly and offered us the most cost effective solution. He had the parts with him and took care of everything immediately. Stuart approaches repairs like a good doctor- he wants you to understand what is wrong so you can make the best decision. In terms I could understand, he explained what was going wrong with my air conditioner, what my options were for fixing it, and why our problem had been driving up our energy bills. This experience is typical of every experience we have with temperature pro west Austin. Very reasonable pricing and outstanding service. Top notch from start to finish.

    Experienced a serious issue with our AC at 8 a.m yesterday (June 24). Called TemperaturePro at 8 a.m. and their tech was at our home just after noon. He resolved our issue and performed the summer maintenance that was due and was gone by 3:30 p.m. There was one part needed that isnt essential to the AC running and they will be here to install it by noon today. First class service that I would recommend to anyone. I will maintain my service contract with them.

    Had our house and that of our in-laws serviced for winter/heating season by TemperatorePro. Orlando was courteous, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He went above and beyond to find the cause of a dripping sound in our bathroom vents, though this wasnt part of the service. Were still puzzled but now we know its not the HVAC system itself! We feel well taken care of. Too bad the prices went up quite a bit, we really like being subscribers to the maintenance service plan (2x a year)!

They were able to return in a week to replace one of our HVAC units. His team worked efficiently & professionally. Just in time for this severe heat wave!     TemperaturePro Austin is always the first call I make when it comes to issues with my a/c units. They are reliable, honest, and very knowledgeable.A few years back, we had fire ants getting into the contactor, and our unit stopped working. Temperature Pro had a technician out immediately to get it fixed.Fast forward to this brutal summer. Our a/c unit stopped working, and I called them to come out and diagnose the unit. They came out immediately and went through the steps, checking over everything to find out what might have caused the unit to stop working. Unfortunately, it ended up being the compressor this time, not as simple as replacing a contactor. Nevertheless, they were able to pick up a new compressor and schedule the repair promptly. The technician had it up and running in a couple of hours.Their employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. I stood there and talked with the tech for a bit while he was replacing the compressor. It is always neat to me how things work. He explained the unit to me and what he was doing to get it up and running. I could tell he had been in the a/c business for a long time now, and he is passionate about his job. I was able to learn a little about the condensing unit and how it operates.I recommend TemperaturePro Austin to all my friends and family. They are a great company and it shows.

Friendly Stuart arrived on-time, diagnosed a clogged drain, sucked it out with the shop-vac, checked for proper operation of the system, all within about 20 minutes.

    Our heater stopped working and another company came out and said it would cost about $400 to fix and we also had to pay for the visit ($125). I didn’t trust their estimate / diagnostic, so I called Temperature Pro who helped us last year and Veronica got us scheduled promptly. David from Temp Pro did his own diagnostic and then tightened the connections / cleaned the faulty part. It worked! No need to spend $$$ on a new part for an old system we will likely replace in the next 12 months. David was professional as always and explained how I could troubleshoot the issue in the event they couldn’t make it out to our house quickly in the future. I couldn’t recommend David and Temperature Pro team enough. I should also mention Veronica who appreciated my urgency and was able to move us to an earlier appointment when a slot opened up on the schedule. She also asked one of the helpful techs (Darin) to order the replacement part just in case the other company’s diagnostic was correct so that they could replace it in one visit.     I’m very excited to have found temperature pro to repair and do maintenance on my a/c. The office staff was very friendly and professional, they even sent a pic of the technician before his arrival. Reid, my technician sealed the deal for me though. He’s extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He took his time to answer all my questions and explained everything so that I understood. He treated me and my a/c problems with respect and consideration which I really appreciated.     Tim came out late to my house across town due to my AC going out the night before. He diagnosed and fixed the problem at no charge and stayed almost until 7 at night to get it done.     We started using their maintenance service two years ago after my wife talked with the owner at a local business get together. Our three systems are 19 years old and need some maintenance. Temp pro was quick to respond (generally same day) and did the repairs well and at a reasonable cost. Last week one unit failed and during inspection a second unit failed. Repair for each was going to be in the $4k range so we opted to replace. They competitively bid and gave a good price on the third. We went with the replace all three. Three days later they installed three systems in one day including building two new plenums. Great service.

Kudos for caring about their customers.Original review: These guys replaced a condenser and fixed a few things related to the a/c for me. I did not inspect their work initially as this was for a rental. Turned out I should have as they did not level the pad. After I noticed the issue I called and was told someone would contact me. No one did. I followed up with an email and got no response either.

    The technician, Stuart, arrived on time (actually 15 minutes early) and performed semi annual maintenance on the Lakehouse unit. While there I asked Stuart about installing a thermostat at my residence, which he accommodated for me as I had attempted to install it myself several times. He performed the install in less than 15 minutes. I also asked about a annual maintenance contract which I purchased just for peace of mind.     Kudos to TemperaturePro! I inherited a Nest thermostat with no instructions on how to use it with the house I bought. I was having problems changing the thermostat from heat to air conditioning and could not get the A/C to activate. I called Temperature-Pro around mid-afternoon and described my problem to the very cordial lady named Jennifer who answered the phone. Within a couple of hours, the owner of the company, Tim, called me back. He was very pleasant and first talked me through several steps over the phone in an attempt to identify and fix the problem. When he determined that the problem required more hands-on assistance, he drove to my house - after hours - to fix the thermostat. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Nest system and soon resolved the problem, which involved a wire that was not functioning properly. He also connected a common wire to make switching from heat to air conditioning and vice versa very simple in the future. Tim was cordial and professional and even gave me a mini tutorial on how the Nest thermostat works. He also gave me his personal cell phone number to call if I have any problems in the future. I was extremely pleased with the service I received from TemperaturePro and will not hesitate to call them again in the future if needed.

    My sales guy was knowledgable and very pleasant to talk to. he worked with me to talk thru all my options and the unique situation in my house. temperature pros bid was about half the price of some competitors (e.g. radient, salt). the install crew was polite and professional. the new hybrid heat-pump system performed as expected. i would definitely recommend them and i fully intend to hire them again next year to replace my other system.

    My 15+ year-old Trane A/C unit died last July. I chose Temperature- Pro to diagnose the issue. Knowing I was on borrowed time with my old unit, I was already anticipating / planning to replace it. The fact that my unit was not repairable made the decision for me. Due to covid, a major A/C manufacturers factory in Texas that was destroyed in the great freeze of 2020 due to a collapsed roof, supplies of new A/C units of all brands were in very short supply and options were fairly limited. Delivery for out- of-stock units had longer than normal lead times. I knew I wanted a Trane variable speed unit to replace my old Trane unit. Temperature-Pro did not have any units on-hand and there were none in Austin to be had. The Temperature-pro team searched the supply in Texas and were able to find a Trane unit in San Antonio. Tim or someone from his team drove to San Antonio and brought the unit back to Austin. It took ~a week to get the unit but my wait would have been significantly longer had we had to order it from somewhere else. Temperature- Pros effort to locate the unit and drive to San Antonio shaved time off that my family and I would have to wait and suffer in the July heat. I had no A/C in my home and of course, it was sweltering (around 100 degrees). The Temperature-Pro sales person provided a portable A/C unit for us to use while we waited for the new unit to arrive. It was a welcome offering that the Temperature- Pro team made to us and was much appreciated. Tim Hostetter, the owner of the business also personally came to my home to evaluate and analyze my home to determine that we made the appropriate choice of unit. His analysis included evaluation of the placement and settings for registers, return air flows etc. During his evaluation, I mentioned that our previous unit was not cooling our upstairs as well as we would like. Tim determined that we would see improvement with a return air vent in that room. Unfortunately, installing a return air vent was not feasible due to the configuration of the attic space. After making this determination, I informed Tim that I was planning on replacing my roof in the very near future. I asked if while we had the roof off, would it be possible to install the return air vent. He said it could definitely be done and that his team would come back to do it for a very reasonable charge. As it turned out, I had to wait around a year to replace the roof. True to his word, Tim dispatched his team and adjusted their busy schedule to coordinate with my roofing contractor to install the return air vent while the singles and decking were off of the roof. They were right on time and did a great job installing the return air vent. Tim also took the time to personally tweak the registers, the settings on the A/C and furnace to optimize the units output and efficiency. He charged me the exact amount (VERY REASONABLE) he originally committed to and I know that installing that return air system was not a huge money-making venture for him and his team compared to installing another new unit or doing a repair. Kudos to Tim and his team. Tim and his entire team have behaved and conducted themselves in a professional manner. Commitments made were kept and communication was good. One final anecdote to pass along. The City of Austin provides a $350 rebate for installing an energy efficient HVAC. The sales person that handled my purchase / installation was responsible to file the rebate and have the check issued directly to me. The sales person unexpectedly left the company and had failed to file the rebate documentation. I had forgotten about the rebate but remembered and called Temperature-Pro to follow up more than 6 months later. Tims team discovered the now-departed sales person had not filed the documents and it was too late to file. Without being asked, Temperature-Pro immediately wrote me a check for the rebate and mailed it to me. In summary, I highly recommend Temperature -Pros. They are honest and worthy of my repeat business.

    We had a great experience with this company. There were other bids from reputable companies, but Temp Pros was the best proposal not only in price, but also in execution. Rather than replacing the entire 10 year old system, they proposed to repair a critical part using the existing set up. It was cheaper and faster to make the repair this way.     Im long overdue in writing this review, but wanted to say how amazing Tim and the team at TemperaturePro Austin are. This is the second time Ive worked with them (we have 2 AC units) and both times it seems my older system has decided to konk out at the worst possible time.This time being the summer wedding of our daughter, that was rescheduled to happen at our home due to COVID. Though only both sets of parents and siblings in attendance, having the A/C break on this day made for a problematic situation for preparing for a wedding!Id reached out and asked if we could get on their schedule, assuming it would be the next week at some point that we could get this repaired. Despite it being a weekend, Tim (the owner) himself came over immediately, identified a small leak in our system, and was able to apply a re-charge of our A/C to not only get us through the wedding weekend, but one that is still keeping us cool the rest of the summer.Hed said that at some point, we will probably need to replace that part completely, but he was able to buy us time that may be all we need for a potentially long time. I feel like most companies would have either tried to up-charge us immediately to the most expensive product we could get, but I really appreciate the integrity - and quality of work from TemperaturePro - to help us out on that day and beyond.When the time does come to ultimately have more expensive parts replaced, there is no doubt that I will be calling TemperaturePro to do that work!

    Its rare that I take time to write a review but the outstanding experiences weve had with TemperaturePro of West Austin have inspired me to do just that. Twice in one year, the guys at TemperaturePro have literally saved the day for us by delivering last-second, emergency repairs. Most recently we were two hours away from a large graduation party at our home when our main AC unit stopped working. After a frantic phone call from us, the owner, Tim, dropped what he was doing and drove to our home to diagnose the problem because he didnt have a technician available at that moment. Minutes later, Tim diagnose the problem and was off to retrieve the replacement part we needed. 15 minutes before guests began arriving, we had a working AC system! Tim and his team are incredibly sharp, professional and extremely good at what they do. Dont waste time and money with some other typical AC repair company: these guys are the real deal!

    My wife and I have been fighting issues with our heat pump unit for a year now. We suffered through last winter and decided we couldnt do that again with a newborn in the house.On short notice, I called TemperaturePros at 5pm on a Friday evening. Tim tried to walk me through some Nest settings over the phone, but decided we needed to do it in person. He met me at my house 45 minutes later and proceeded to diagnose our problem. He was unable to permanently fix the problem that night, but he showed us how to force the Nest to use the heat strips in an emergency.Paul came out a few days later, diagnosed our issue as a dead control board and had the part ordered a few days later. David came and replaced it and weve had great heat ever since.My wife and I are grateful for all their help and will be a customer for life. You cant go wrong with TemperaturePros.

    Found them to be honest, timely, & professional. I thought there was a problem & it wasn’t. I had them replace furnace earlier (very affordable) & a month later I thought it should be checked as I thought I had a problem. They came out & checked out everything & made some adjustments that I could have done & had forgotten what he told me. He didn’t even charge me for trip charge, he said he was on his way home anyway. Beside the point, he could have & many would have charged at least a trip charge. They are in my go to list for help with any heating or air conditioner problems.

    I called TemperaturePro mid-morning. They were able to dispatch a technician, David, to my house just before noon. He diagnosed the problem within 25 minutes: weak capacitor and a blown electric motor. He installed the new parts in about an hour, then went up into the crawl space to make sure everything was OK on that end. Friendly, fast, and thorough service. Ill be calling TemperturePro next time the HVAC needs a doctor.

    I purchased an old house and assumed when my HVAC quit working it was also old. Tim, the owner, came out and assured me my unit was not old and I did not need a new unit. The heat strip had shorted out the heat. Instead of spending mega bucks, they repaired my heat for $200.
