We found Dial One when trying to find an alternative to our horrible home warranty program, and we’re so grateful we did. They were able to work with us on a competitive quote for replacing our expensive evaporator coil, the customer service was considerate and prompt. And I want to give a HUGE thank you to Scott and especially “Big Dan” who worked around our time constraints on the repair. When something went wrong a day later, Dan came by and fixed it for nothing. Felt truly cared about and like I was getting intelligent and experienced techs.

I can’t say enough good things about Dan and Dial One Johnson. We use them for all our rental properties and primary residence. For HVAC ask for Dan. His knowledge and experience with HVAC systems is second to none. He doesn’t sell you something that you don’t need and is upfront and honest. You couldn’t ask for a better HVAC technician. Highly recommend.

I would give 11 stars if Google would allow it. This place was great!Our AC went out a few days before a long vacation (during peak summer). Joe came out the next day and provided a detailed diagnosis and explanation of the problem. We felt comfortable with what work needed to be done. Since we only had 2 days before we left, Ashley in scheduling did all that she could to coordinate something and get things fixed before it was too late for us. She was wonderful to work with. Overall this place pulled through for us and it was a great experience working with them. We will be using this team in the future! Thank you!

Called for a non-emergency gas stovetop installation. They converted for propane use and installed. James W. was my technician and did a good and fast job.Update - we moved into our home and the stovetop was burning too brightly. James W came back out and installed the correct orifices and the stove works perfectly! Called Monday afternoon and came out Wednesday morning. These guys are professional, quick, and responsive! Will be my go to company!

Problem: Refill would not stop and the water shut off value no longer worked, also there was a leak from around one of the connections to the refill valve.Same day service and when an earlier appointment became available I was called and asked if I would like the earlier time. Everything went as I was told from my first call. Gabe arrived and I explained what I thought I needed and he took a look and made one additional recommendation which I took. He gave an estimate and I said that was great (I also received a $50.00 discount, THANKS!). The work was done quickly and he went above my expectations by cleaning the pipe and reaffixing the face plate to the wall on the water outlet to the toilet. I would recommend this company to anyone needing their services.

We called Dial One Johnson first thing Monday morning. They scheduled an appointment for afternoon, but the technician was actually able to come earlier. Emmett was very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. He checked the attic unit first, to check the drain pan, and that the filter was properly installed. He replaced the Compressor Dual Capacitor that had gone out on the unit outside. We signed up for the membership plan where they come out twice a year to change the filters supplied by them. The cost of the filters is almost 1/2 of the price of the plan. As an older couple, we realize the benefits of being proactive, not to mention, staying out of the attic.

This tech tried to joke about unneeded repairs, and it cost him credibility when he tried to identify a possible reason for buying a service plan. He replaced the air filter with a new one I had available in the attic even though I had informed the company that I had replaced the current one in January. (They should last for 1 year.) Also, he did not return water hoses to their original set up in the garden when he finished. This was unlike personnel from this company who have been here in the past. They usually get 5 stars.

He was pleasant on the phone, listened as I tried to explain best I could and gave me an idea of what to expect based on that information. He was patient and I had time to think and decide. He took time to explain the issue with the AC and possible solutions, without a rush and I was able to process and understand the information. My water heater blew out under factory warranty. I got a new one but I’m currently crunched on time so called to see if someone could come out during the weekend to assist. For that to happen I was advised it would be DOUBLE the price. No way. I just cancelled my plans & decided to do it myself but since I was on the phone I asked JAMES why I couldn’t figure out how to turn off the main water since the cold valve was off & the hot was continuously running.That’s when James Advised Dallas is the ONLY city he knows where the main water valve is perpendicular to the ground so you can’t easily notice it outside at the water main entry. That helped me turn off the water so I can shop back the moisture out of the hot water heater closet. JAMES didn’t have to advise that, for FREE. If I had $2400 to spare they’d get my business, but I currently don’t. Next time I have a project I’ll consider this establishment first because that was a big help to get me on my way to doing the job.

Because its an old system and he cant guarantee how long the fix will last (related to the coolant filter-dryer not being in good shape anymore) he didnt charge me beyond the service call. This review is very overdue. I love Johnson Plumbing. They are not the least expensive, but the service and results indicate that they are a very good value.During the big freeze of February 2020, I had 3 burst pipes. My husband, who had terminal cancer, was wheelchair bound and we had snow between us and the car. I couldnt turn off the water and be housebound with a cancer patient.Johnson Plumbing came over within a few hours and fixed my pipes. Yes, it was costly. Still a good value, because they came, the work was done and was excellent.This year, I found a lake under my house. Johnson came out quickly. My husband was, by then, on hospice and could not be moved. It took the young plumber several days to work up an action plan, which was inconvenient, but when he got there, they found an ENORMOUS leak under my deck, fixed it, and put the yard back. It wasnt put back very well, contrary to the assurance that I wouldnt be able to tell it was ever dug up. The cost was not cheap, but it was reasonable for the amount of work involved.Except for a stumble getting started on this years job at my house, the plumbers have been very professional and responsive. The work has been exemplary. I have recommended Johnson to the whole neighborhood.

They came out 09/14/2016 and ended up finding out that the gas regulator valve was out. Have an older water heater so I ended up getting a whole new water heater. Putting new parts on an older model could end up costing more in the long run. The guy came within the time range they gave. He was very polite and professional. He even got everything done by the time I was walking out the door for work, so I wouldnt be late. If I ever need anything else I wont hesitate to call them again.
