I just wanted to post about a fantastic experience my sister just had with Cooling Texas and the owner, Bill (who is the technician that came out). Her call was answered pretty quickly and went straight to Bill. She told him the AC unit went out yesterday afternoon, and wanted to see if he could come check it and possibly fix it today. He happened to be finishing up a job in the area, and within an hour or so of speaking he was at her house. He went up to the HVAC unit, and he asked her to turn it on. He put his hand on the unit and listened and within a minute of being there he knew exactly what was wrong! Absolutely incredible. He ran over to his truck and luckily had an extra capacitor (which was the part that needed to be replaced), and the HVAC unit was fixed within 10 minutes of him arriving. He went the extra mile to make sure the rest of the unit was working and then went up to the attic to check the drip pan and other parts, even showed us how/where to pour the vinegar/water mixture for the drain line.Not only was the service beyond expectations, he was quick, thorough and knowledgeable. The AC instantly kicked on as soon as he flipped the power switch for it. Not to mention his rates were extremely fair, and he was clear and up front on pricing. Phenomenal experience and service, I would highly recommend to anyone needing HVAC service.

Cooling Texas is wonderful! We have used them since weve been homeowners and have replaced a few units (2 houses) with them. Bill is very professional and kind. Jose has also come to our home and he is just as awesome and thorough. We will continue to use Cooling Texas and tell others about them too!

Over several years, as recently as this past week, we have had Cooling Texas install two new systems at our home and service/repair systems at my in-laws home and my parents home. All the work they have done has been prompt, reliable, neat and clean; all at very fair prices. Bill always give me multiple options when repairs are needed and he stands by his work. I recommend Cooling Texas to all my friends.

We chose Cooling Texas several years ago to maintain our HVAC system and stayed with them due to their honest approach. They recently upgraded three air conditioning units and furnaces and made modifications to the intakes and vents that have resulted in our home being much more comfortable and they did this at a reasonable price. We recommend Bill and Cooling Texas to all our family and friends.

I have used Cooling Texas since the company started. Bill McKenna and Jose are absolutely dependable. Always on time, fixes issues right the first time and they are very reasonable. I have replaced old compressor units and thermostats with Cooling Texas and they were really reasonable and the units dropped my bills from $600 a month to $200 during the high season. I will never use anyone else.

We had a service agreement with another company for several years. They raised their prices and did not respond to my request for information. Bill McKenna offered service for a better price and found issues that the previous vendor had either missed or ignored. Service tech Mr. Bill was excellent! I called 3/13 and was able to schedule next day repairs. Mr.Bill not only arrived on time (as scheduled with no delays) but he was very knowledgeable and helpful. As soon as he got here he diagnosed the problem, addressed the issue and got my unit going. I truly appreciate how he listened and repaired my system and didn’t try to sell me a new unit. Kudos to Mr Bill and to Cooling Texas for not only the Great/Super friendly service,but for being open to answering any questions I had. He went above and beyond by not only coming to perform the services we requested, but addressing the concerns that I had. Would definitely be using Mr Bill & Cooling Texas from now on. Very satisfied customer.

This family-owned HVAC company is by far the best around! Bill, Jose, and Tyler are exceptional -- courteous, honest, and capable. Weve been using them for over 5 years, and I will say theyre practically family now. Theyve gone above and beyond in emergency HVAC situations numerous times. Bill and Cooling of Texas was a breath of fresh air. Especially after being put through the ringer for months by another HVAC service company. With no exaggeration, he fixed in two days what the other company couldnt in over half a years time.You dont have to know a thing about HVAC systems, but hes still honest and upfront and gives you an itemized bill.Without question, put them in your address book.

With high temps cresting 105F our A/C decided it was a good time to fail. I called several other widely advertised A/C services and a few that were family recommendations but none could make an appointment for two days. I ended up cancelling my appointment with another provider after speaking with Cooing Texas. Bill and Jose were within the appointment window at the end of that same day after doing commercial A/C work in downtown Dallas. Jose is just learning the trade and Bill took him on as an apprentice. Both guys have an outstanding ethic and Jose is very eager to learn.The problem was exactly what I suspected but Bill also measured the refrigerant charge and found it was 2 lbs. low. He charged a fair price for the refrigerant and though he didnt have the exact part he needed in his truck but he got me back up and running with what he had. He promised and fulfilled the promise to return with the correct part once he picked it up from his inventory.I *will* use these guys again!

I purchased a house and the A/C broke within the week. I was nervous on who to trust with such a big purchase. I contacted a buddy who has lived in Allen and before I could finish the sentence he suggested Cooling Texas.The owner came and spent two hours with me discussing my issue and really explained it to me well. He bid me the top of the line install and got my family A/C fast.I would trust this man again. Wonderful guy.

Last Summer our AC unit cratered when it was hot as Hades and all the HVAC contractors really busy. Bill and team were as responsive as possible and didnt try to use the emergency situation to increase prices (as others were doing). They installed a trash trap with the new unit and later returned to remove it and recharge the system, which is the proper process for a replacement unit. Try them, youll like them.

There is a reason there are no negative reviews associated with Mr. McKennas name! I will start by saying everything happens for a reason! Bills professionalism and candor is the most honest I have seen in the A/C service industry! He is definitely a veteran! Everyone does not possess the skillset needed to truly service other people honestly and respectfully. I am sure Mr. McKenna thought I was crazy! I kept saying, Gosh you remind me so much of my father! He realized that was definitely a compliment! I seldomly run across people like my father. These men are a special breed. The integrity in business men like this, is impeccable! It is like, you know you do not need to look any further because deep inside you know you will be taken care of....if that makes any sense! Mr. McKenna went out his way to personally come evaluate my AC problem. He said, he could hear my frustrations! He was dead on! When others didnt slow down to find the problem, he did not stop or leave until he did! After that, he provided me with ALL my options. His mentality was not, you need this new system! It was, here are the options to get your home cooling again....now that you have been educated, you can make an informed decision, regardless of what I may want. That right there, won me over! Seriously, business owners RARELY do that! When he left my home, he could confidently say to himself, regardless of what may happen, I know Andreea will refer business to me! He would be 100% right too! Thank you so much for your time, honesty, patience and expertise Bill. I pray business remains fruitful for years to come! Lets really get Cooling Texas advertised!😊
