Blue Ribbon did a great job! We were quickly scheduled for a next morning A/C service call. The office called us first thing in the morning to give an accurate arrival time. Luis was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Very professional and completed his work with attention to detail. Within an hour or so of completing the service call, he got us a detailed estimate on some additional work we want to have completed by Blue Ribbon. Great job, Luis! Blue Ribbon technician Gavin and his helper spent a good chunk of time removing two ceiling level split unit ACs that had been leaking coolant and dripping water. They did an excellent job and answered all my questions about the coil replacement they then installed. They were polite and helpful with furniture to be moved, and cleaned up when they were done. I was left feeling very confident in the work they did.The original diagnostic visit was made by Luis, who also did a fine job with dye injection and diagnosis on his return visit. He gave me several options for repair too.

Christine from Blue Ribbon was simply amazing! Not only did she hurry to get here on a holiday, but as a fellow Mom herself, she was SUPER accommodating to me as a SAHM. She went above and beyond to make sure things went as quick, safe and smoothly as possible while my 2 yr old son, 4 yr old son and very friendly dog wanted to check everything out. Thank you Christine for installing our 2 new toilets so quickly. I thought this was going to be a long and painful process but it wasn’t at all! We will definitely be calling them again for all of our future cooling, heating and plumbing needs.

We had a plumbing emergency and had to cut off the water to the house, so we were in need of a fast fix. Blue Ribbon provided exceptional service from the moment I spoke with Hayley. She was empathetic and professional. And Matteo not only did a superior job of fixing a somewhat unique issue, he provided guidance and great information for future improvements Id like to do. I had Matteo do some additional work, as well as the emergency repair while the water was off and he was able to separate the jobs on the invoice so I could easily submit the correct information for the work that might be covered by my insurance. The workmanship was superior, as was the customer service, which made my plumbing crisis a bit less overwhelming.

He was thorough and explained all our options thoroughly. Barrett Watson performed the work for us and he was efficient and did an awesome job of cleaning up dust when he installed an access panel. The company schedulers and its plumbers do an awesome job of keeping you informed of progress and are clearly concerned with customer satisfaction. We are very happy with the work done.

I have used what was previously known as Doug’s Plumbing but now Blue Ribbon for a few years now and have nothing but great things to say about them! Noah was great at answering all my questions very thoroughly, as it’s very important for me to know what all is being done to my old home. He started with the job doing the least expensive work and then going from there. He let me know that was his plan, and I really appreciated his willingness to do that versus going straight to the most expensive thing without trying the first step to see if it would solve my plumbing problem. It unfortunately didn’t work out the way one hopes with plumbing issues all the time, but it showed that to keep your customers happy and returning, you do the necessary steps in order, and that is a huge thing for me! I’ve used other plumbing companies and won’t use anyone else. I recommend Blue Ribbon to friends lots and they are also pleased! I will ask for Noah for future jobs!

It amazes me how well trained their technicians are, My technician today new every aspect of the system and how to diagnose the problem and correct it. I have four separate systems on my property and they have maintain them to the highest standard, I have ever seen. You cant go wrong with a well trained technician they wont patch together your system, theyre going to do it right the first time and be done. People have to realize that sometimes its not easy doing it right but in the long turn situation its always better for you

And he let me know that my unit needed a surge protector because when the power goes out it could burn up the motor. When they sold me the unit the salesman never mentioned anything about needing a surge protector. I really appreciate him. Let me know that.

Due to already commitments on my part, we werent able to exchange the unit, but we agreed in the near future to continue the process. I had Doug the Plumbers/Blue Ribbon come out a year ago to put in new dual valves under two kitchen sinks as part of a kitchen remodel I was doing. I would normally do this job myself but I had a recent surgery that prevented me from bending down. Later on, epoxy from new countertops I was making dripped onto part of the valves making them unusable. I needed help identifying the valves used, eventually calling their office for help. I sent them pictures. Amanda felt it was best if a plumber came out to verify the valves...at no charge!I was able to get the correct parts and, now recovered from back surgery, easily replaced the valves.I have used Dougs/Blue Ribbon for both residential and commercial work. They have always been on time, if not occasionally early, and have always completed the job regardless of how difficult it was to complete.They have finished jobs that other licensed companies have forgotten or walked away from. You can always find someone to do the work for less. When it comes to insuring a job is done correctly, and will quickly return to fix any installation or repair issues, they are always prompt, professional, and always great to work with on repairs or new installations. I dont write many glowing reviews as most places dont deserve them. I live out in the Tahitian Village area of Bastrop. I like using local businesses and am happy to be their customer.

Our water heater went out on June 10th and we called our warranty company, American home shield, the very same day. They allowed us to provide a service contractor since they could not find one to come out to our property. We had never used Blue ribbon before but I am so glad we chose them. Josh came out to do the original assessment and called the warranty company with his findings. Thats when all the troubles began. We fought with the company for 30 days because they did not want to honor their warranty. Jason and Josh went above and beyond what I think most companies would have done to get this warranty company to approve their work. To me their customer service is absolutely fantastic. Starting with the girls who answer the phone, Kaylee and Chandler, to the service manager Jason, to the technician Josh, and to the installers as well. We just had a new system installed by Blue Ribbon Cooling, Heating, Plumbing and the experience was exceptionally good. We have lived in our home for 17 years and this is our third A/C replacement (we have two units). We have worked with two previous companies and Blue Ribbon is a much more positive experience because of the knowledgeable and professional technicians they have. We reached out to Blue Ribbon because we felt our upstairs unit was not performing well in spite of an annual maintenance inspection with another company that didn’t turn up any issues. Blue Ribbon did in fact discover a leak and some other problems that were affecting the performance of our unit. They gave us a lot of options including repairing our existing unit with no pressure to replace . Ultimately, we did decide to replace and we really got to see the difference between Blue Ribbon and the companies we used before. Everything was handled very professionally and a lot of time was taken to explain the operation of the unit. Blue Ribbon obviously has very knowledgeable technicians and we feel we finally found a company we will be able to rely on to maintain these critical systems that you can’t live without in Texas. We were paying for check ups but we were not getting the best preventative recommendations with the former company. We are really happy we found Blue Ribbon.

This was my first experience with Blue Ribbon. I had a service agreement with a small local company that had just retired and closed its doors. This company (Blue Ribbon) was their recommendation for the fulfillment of my contract. First of all, they were able to come out the same day. I was not in the middle of an emergency situation, so I opted for the next day. The tech texted me about a half an hour before he got there, letting me know he was on his way. Luis Ortega was extremely professional and kind and even let my obnoxious dogs jump all over him. He did a great job of educating us with pictures and answered all of our questions. Luis made sure to wear shoe covers every single time he came into the house. We are grateful that he caught a potential electrical fire hazard and could correct the situation quickly. Luis did an outstanding job. He was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Our heater was not working, and we had another well known/heavily advertised local A/C company out and they did not fix the problem. The charged us and wanted to charge for another expensive repair. We wanted a second opinion. Luis came out determined the real problem and fixed it. It was not the expensive part the other company wanted to replace.

Joshua was very helpful and Informative with our gas issue today. Joshua has come to our home previously to install plumbing fixtures, run plumbing lines and completely plumb one of our bathrooms. He has always been kind, professional and very patient in informing us on all our plumbing options. This time we had a sensitive issue with a possible gas leak around our guest house. He was prompt and helpful in quickly locating the leak and remedying the situation. We are very grateful for his care and time in locating the gas leak, especially after a few other companies came and found nothing. We were repeatedly informed that there was no gas leak and was possibly sewer gases that we were smelling. Joshua took the time to thoroughly check all the gas lines under our home. Thank you Joshua for taking the time to make sure my family is safe. You cannot imagine my gratitude in finally solving this mystery after so many months.Joshua is an asset to your company. Daniel did a great job servicing my HVAC. He gave suggestions on how to make the system work more efficiently and possibly extend the life of the system. He did a very thorough job on replacing the out of date laser light and replacing a part that was defective. I would definitely recommend Blue Ribbon and Daniel as the service tech. I appreciate that this company did a thorough check and did not pressure us to purchase items we did not need.
