Pete E is the best! Super nice guy, very knowledgeable, shares all the pro’s & con’s, honest, and trustworthy. For our failing water heater issue, Pete communicated at every step of the process, made sure my wife and I were aware of the options available for replacement of the hardware, and really had a genuine interest in helping us understand the “why” of everything related to our water heater replacement. We wouldn’t hesitate to call Austin again, and would certainly ask for Pete again if it was a plumbing need!

All of the staff at Austin was incredibly helpful and professional. We had a leak in our water heater and they come out same day on the early side of the window given. Garret was fantastic and replaced it same day. The pricing is higher so keep that in mind but overall we are very happy with the service we received.

See updates below.Our representative, Todd, was very personable and did a very thorough job. We heard an ad on WISN radio about a dryer duct cleaning. We bought our house 2 years ago and it was a 14 year old house so it really needed it.Todd then let me know they service our heating and air conditioning system so we will be using them going forward.Fast forward 6 months. We now have a new Heating and Air Conditioning system from Polar Express. Troy was our installer and he did an amazing job. He left the utility room spotless and the system looks like it was made for our existing HVAC equipment. He raised our air conditioning unit above the mulch so it wont get into the unit. He caulked our existing pipes to keep critters outside. You can look in our basement and you would have no idea our HVAC was just replaced as it was kept totally cleanJanuary 2024We just had an Aprilaire system replaced with a new one. Better sensors to keep the humidity from getting too high that the windows sweet. Also had the ecobee thermostat installed. Joe let me know there would be a small area I would have to touch up with paint. No surprises. - love it. I set up myself and my wife with the app. Joe setup the thermostat for us. We added another sensor to monitor the twmp in our master bedroom. This will help when we have the fireplace on in the great room where the thermostat is. Prior to this upgrade the bedrooms would get cold when we had a fire going. Chris was out with Joe helping also.Carson also came out and provided me with a quote for a replacement for our water heater. They will be coming next week to replace our old A O Smith water heater. It will have a pan under it with a hose to our drain Incase something happens to it.All three of them were very polite and pleasant to work with. Mary at the office is great to work with.March 2024Spring HVAC check up.Vince was very nice and did a professional job. He did a treatment to the drain pan to kill bacteria that adds smells to the air and can clog the drain. He kept the area around the system clean and was very professional. We have been very happy with all the techs that come out from Austin Plumbing. He let me know they do electrical work now too.Once again great work from Austin Plumbing.Great job Polar Express!Thank you,Jerry Bartos

The ease of scheduling an appointment was just the start! After getting that handled, which took no time at all and required no phone calls, emails or any hassle, I was notified the next day when Pete was on his way. Super service once he arrived, explained a lot, discussed potential issues, and what was to be done. I am so happy that finally after years of sewer issues, to have the issue professionally resolved, while also having good insight on what the issues were and what issues we do not have. Knowing now what issues we do not have ( HD camera footage is so helpful) was totally worth the cost of everything. Lastly, Pete is great, glad they have such amazing staff!!!!

Weve used Austin Plumbing for years and they always do an excellent job. Noah came out last week as we had a clogged kitchen sink. He was able to quickly clear the clog and also replaced our garbage disposal in the same visit.We did notice that a large sticker was placed on the disposal for the company. This certainly doesnt distract from the great service but now we have sticker that is hard to get off as wed prefer just a clean look. Maybe ask next time first or give us a magnet instead?

Todd was very professional and straightforward. He arrived on time and was thorough in his evaluation and maintenance of our current units. It turns out we have some significant problems with our furnace and AC that were missed during the home inspection, which he clearly pointed out and explained for us. Todd and Polar Express were able to provide us with a couple of quotes for new units at the same time the service appointment took place. My husband and I made a decision and the Polar Express team was able to get us scheduled for an install in less than a week so we can finish out the summer without worrying about our AC crashing and well be prepared for the coming fall and winter months well in advance of an issue.Update: Troy and his team completed the install of our new furnace and AC today. Troy clearly loves his job and is very knowledgeable! He gave me a very thorough tutorial about my new systems which was greatly appreciated. The work was completed quickly and they left the basement and area outside around the new AC looking cleaner and neater than when they arrived. The house cooled off very quickly after install, so it seems like the new system is working like a charm. Polar Express also takes care of product registration and there are apparently some we Energies benefits/rebates they submitted for us that we didn’t even know were available. We have really appreciated the positive experiences!

Our pilot light on our furnace would not stay on so I randomly found Austin Plumbing from a Google search and saw they had good reviews. They were able to send Todd out the same day to get my furnace back up and running. Todd was very friendly and professional and said a permanent fix on the existing furnace would likely not be worth the money since the furnace was at the end of the average life expectancy.We took Todds advice and ended up purchasing a new furnace and a humidifier (fan seized) and Austin Plumbing was able to send out a different crew two days later to install.The crew (Troy and Chris) were running later than expected because they had an emergency call, but I was impressed that I received a call letting me know that they were running behind.Troy and Chris were also very friendly and professional. They explained what they were going to do and ended up finishing the install faster than they expected! They also explained how to operate the humidifier since I no longer need to use a manual switch.My wife and I were very impressed with Austin Plumbing and will likely utilize them again in the future!

All of the technicians are knowledgeable & very upfront about pricing and expectations of their visit. Most times the tech will offer suggestions for repairs or upgrades- but not with the intention to upsell more services & charge me more, but rather to keep our home from having a major plumbing emergency in the future. I am a Diamond Club member and the small monthly charge is negligible compared to the peace of mind knowing if I have an emergency they will be out almost immediately to remedy the problem without extra charges.

Im very happy with the customer service at Polar Express.I was looking for somebody to inspect my central air unit. I gave them a call based on their reviews online. They accommodated me with a next day appointment even though I was slightly outside of their normal service area. I was unaware of this when I called (it says right on their website, but I just didnt catch it!), and was willing to find somebody else, but they insisted it wasnt a problem.Michael, the technician that came out, was personable and extremely thorough in inspecting my system. He went over all of the results, and we had a great discussion about what options I had and the cost-benefit ratio of each. At no point was I pressured into one decision or another.I would not hesitate to contact Polar again in the future (assuming they are willing to travel slightly out of their area again!)

Today we needed our second floor dryer vent cleaned and ran into a challenge because of the outside vent location, and Mitch came to the rescue! Todd was punctual, friendly, and experienced. He promptly and efficiently cleaned and inspected our heating unit. He also advised us about water heater issues. We had several questions and concerns and he addressed them all with professionalism. We were very pleased with his service.
