Suntide lll is a great place to vacation. It is located right on the beach in South Padre Island and located near restaurants, activities, and a grocery store. They have indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis, steam room, and sports facilities. Unit 1106 has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with a beautiful view and a well stocked kitchen. It even has a closet with beach toys, beach cart, games, and puzzles for the kids to enjoy. The master bedroom and living room have electric fireplaces, large TVs, and sliding doors to the balcony to enjoy the view. Everything you need for a great vacation.

Right on the beach, what more can you ask for? Okay, the service was amazing. I got stung by a jellyfish, and they knew everything and were on it pools are clean and beautiful. I got a retro feel when I was there. I liked it so much Id recommend anyone to visit tennis courts are well kept the gym is really small but have what you need to get a what you need done over all Id be back

Awesome place to stay! Rooms were nice. There were a few random things like outside light not working but nothing significant. Very nice outdoor and indoor pools. They have a sauna, tennis and basketball courts. The private beach access was nice and they have secured gates all around the place so be sure to take your key card if You go anywhere. Great location as its very close to a lot of fun places. Plenty to see/do and I would definitely visit again.

Weve stayed in condos at Suntide III twice, and I would stay there again. Both of the condos weve stayed in have been great --- nice bedrooms and living areas plus well-stocked kitchens if you plan to cook some meals. Condo owners also typically have beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach needs available for use.The location is great: its centrally located on the island, within walking distance of the local grocery store and has easy beach access.There are good amenities. The pools are nice -- one outdoor plus hot tub and one indoor. They also have a gym, sauna, tennis courts and basketball courts if youve had your fill of the beach.The front desk staff is helpful and friendly, and the check in and check out processes are easy. They sell snacks and ice for your convenience.They provide some covered parking, some parking just outside the gate and overflow parking across the street.

This is a fantastic place to stay on the island for families. Generally quiet except for the required maintenance (although if youre an early riser, it wont wake you up anyway), and fantastic and somewhat modernized condos and furniture. Beach view in every room. Great service from the front desk. Indoor and outdoor pools on the property were great for us during early Spring Break, as early March means the non-heated pools on the island are still cold. And of course theres the Gulf which was a very easy path only a minutes walk away.Our 3 bedroom place had 3 bathrooms and very comfortably slept 6, and the whole place is reasonably priced on your favorite app for renting condos. Pretty tough to go wrong as far as I can see.

We booked a couple of months in advance, hoping that wed get lucky and snag a great deal. While the apartment has most basic needs, I feel theres still some things that can be improved upon that shouldnt be looked over. The mattresses on these beds feel like theyre 15-20 years old. They dip low. Very little support. And for the price we paid, I expected semi-decent quality. The headboards creak with very little movement. Its quite annoying. The apartment does have a set of beach toys and boogie boards that came of great use. I will give them that. The kitchen is stocked well with almost everything you could need. Bring your own laundry detergent. They do supply you with dishwasher pods. There were a few other things that could be improved upon. Information at check-in was inaccurate. We were told we were only allowed 2 vehicles, but when we went to ask again the next day, we were told a third is allowed, but we just have to notify them. *Shrug* I mean not terrible. But not the best. Best thing is beach access is super easy.

Nice older condo. Ive been here 10 yrs prior to 2023, and they had made a lot of improvements.Pros: location. Indoor/outdoor pool. HotTubs. AC was always cold. Nice view on the 11th floor balcony. Huge masters suite. Elevator and carts to transport belongings up and down was a plus.Cons: showerhead low. The front door needs tugging to shut tight. Got a 3rd of a sponge cut up for washing dishes. Parking limit to one vehicle inside gate. Dryer was not doing a great job, and I needed to dry 3 times before clothes were not damp.Overall for the price paid, most of the things mentioned under Cons should not have been an issue. Other than that it was just a place to sleep during the night because we were at the beach for the most part.

Perfect location.The view is breathtaking. The unobstructed view of the Atlantic is amazing. I would definitely visit again.Though the building is old and ac/heater can be a bit noisy if you are light sleeper. But the amenities are really good. We got a chair and umbrella set up on the beach by the staff. You can it from morning till evening 6 PM.There is a direct access to the beach from the building.The building has heated indoor pool, outdoor pool. Indoor and outdoor hot tub.You can get beach towels and normal towels.Theres someone at the concierge 24 hours.There were enough parking spots inside the fence

Super convenient location to the beach and a wonderful place for a small family to stay. We stayed with 4 adults and 2 kids. If you plan to cook your food there are a lot of appliances but there is no condiments or seasonings so you will need to buy it all from scratch.

The three-bedroom condo that we rented for the week in January was great. Had good room for the six adults that stayed in the condo. Appliances were up to date. Very nice furnishings. Beds were very comfortable. The building itself needs some updating. Pool inside was hotter than the hot tub. Hallways to condos needs better lighting at night. There are two elevators one on each end of the building. Brand new tennis court looked nice. They had some construction going on with the other tennis court. Workers didn’t start until around 9 -10 am so we could sleep in. Grounds were well kept and walkway to the beach was nice. Security access to condo was good. The Sauna was on the 3rd floor. Needed to turn on the Sauna at least 15 minutes before using. The shower room off the Sauna was nice. The exercise room was small. If more than two people were in this room it would be too small. Parking was very full when we were there. Most of the parking is covered. It was hard to park a full-size truck in the parking stalls. Would stay here again. Pictures included were from our 2nd floor condo.

The view is amazing! We stayed in condo 502. The beds were comfy. We appreciated that there was a sofa bed so all 3 kids had their own bed. The size of the condo was perfect for our family of 5. We also liked that there were ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms. The condo was clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There were a lot of books to choose from which we took advantage of. We liked that there was an indoor and outdoor pool and a boardwalk to the beach.Be aware that only 1 elevator is currently working. Also, the 1 elevator is in the lobby which does not have a ramp to wheel your wagons and other beach things down. We saw a wheelchair lift off to the side but just carried our wagon down the couple of steps.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great place to stay! Staff is nice, and answers questions well. Theres an outside pool AND inside pool!!! So, if you get too much sun or its stormy you can still have a pool day. AND, you cant really get any closer to the beach. They offer pool umbrella and chair service for $25 which is fair and convenient.

I always chose homes for my airbnb. This time, we tried this clean condo and we were NOT disappointed.There is parking on site, elevators, indoor and out ldoor pool... hottub, and plenty of lounge space in the lobby..although we joked about the lobby decor bring a bit golden girls style.The front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. They even had snacks, drinks & ice to purchase.The elevator was aged but adequate. And the fact that you could see both sunrises & sunsets from the condo is a big plus!Hugs long balconies and spacious interiors.We had on the 8th floor: a 3 bed, 3 bath condo with pantry, walk in closets, fully stocked kitchen, wet bar - yes- its outdated, but 😍 cute..It was perfect and enough space v for kids to run around inside and adults to have a great time too!Im trying to book there again..we didnt have to search for parking and checking in and out was easy peasy..Im telling EVERYONE about this awesome stay!

Would love to give it 5 stars. Beautiful views, excellent location. Its an older building but each one is individually decorated. The down side is parking. You have to find an unmarked space inside if you can, or you are relegated to outdoor street or public parking. You do get up to two spaces so use an outdoor if you can find one. Do like everyone else and rent a golf cart that will hold up to 8 people or a Slingshot (expensive) legal and fun to drive around the island lit up with LED lights. Down side of the unit was a sliding door falling off, light bulbs out, and not enough towels or toilet paper for the number of people staying. Outside of that, fireworks on Friday night from the front door balcony and a great little island town, we loved it

The staff are incredibly helpful and check in was simple. They are right on the beach and every room has a view. The particular room we stayed in was nice and spacious, but the floors were a bit grimy and needed to be mopped and the furniture was old and needs to be updated. But each condo is individually owned so thats not the case across the board. But overall it was a great place and I would definitely stay again.

It is all about location. Lots of local restaurants close by. The free shuttle picks up right out front. And right on the ocean for beautiful sunrises each morning. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

The condos great with a great location. Terrific Beach. But, the water pressure to the 12th floor is so minimal its hard to shower. Get past that and u will enjoy your stay. Will definitely book here again! The customer service is outstanding! The location is sublime! Right on the beach with easy access and rental chairs/umbrellas available. We loved staying here and will definitely come again! (We stayed in 1004) Eddie really helped us out a lot and everyone at the condo was amazing!

This was a good location at a good price. Right on the beach. The negatives would be that the water in our unit number 704 smelled a little bit moldy so youll need to buy your own bottled water, right now the outdoor pool is being refurbished so only the indoor pool and hot tub is available and they are kept very very hot. Pool same temp as hot tub.Other perks is this is very close to a grocery store for buying supplies, and there is a gated covered parking lot although its a little tight to get in-and-out of.The unit itself is adequate although slightly dated there is a washer and dryer right in the unit which is very convenient.Large spacious balcony although the furniture could use a little tlc.

First off easy check in and great parking. Nice beach and pool. Units ice maker was a bit slow for making drinks.They were very nice and gave me a extra parking pass for the golf cart I rented overnight. Overall I would stay here again.

Pool towels are a bit small. Grounds kept okay during our late October stay. Maintenance happens on the off season I would guess. Friendly staff during our stay. Just wish they had closer barbacoa joint to eat nearby.

Great family friendly facility. There was a little incident where my vehicle was booted, even though i had my permit in the window. However, this was quickly resolved. Limited parking available. Great view of the water. Plastic wristbands are required to access certain parts of the facility. Do no expect to reuse these because they are very difficult to take off.

Gorgeous condo with large balcony for 6 people overlooking beach. Sunrise in a.m. and sunset across the hall every evening! Quiet place off season. Modern kitchen filled with appliances and dishes and assorted wine glasses. Front desk helpful. Pool, hot tub are all well maintained. Beach is clean, soft and free of seaweed and most shells. Umbrellas and chairs can be rented.

I have been coming here with my family since I was 6 years old, and the place has not changed a bit in 15 years. Beautiful views, great price, and the rooms are HUGE. The last time we lucked out with a wrap around balcony for no extra charge. The beach is beautiful and clean and great for finding sea shells if you wake up and do a walk before sunrise.

We stayed in room 706, it was a 3 bedroom with two masters. The unit was nice, had tons of kitchen stock, good views.Suntide III was fairly well maintained. The elevators were always functioning, nothing in total disrepair. My main complaint is with the cleanliness of the indoor pool. It had mold growing around the top rim of the pool and it was really gross.

We have a corner unit and it is good for our visit. It is great to be right on the beach with private access. This is perfect for the kids. The pool gives another option to keep them busy. The one problem is both elevators were broken, which seems weird that it would takes weeks to fix just one.

The indoor pool was so warm! The view is nice, we had a blast playing tennis, the rooms are fully stocked from utensils and coffee makers to crock pots but had only one roll of toilet paper which we didnt realize until we ran out... And there are cockroaches all over on the bottom levels but we were on the 12th floor and didnt see any in our room. The gates are nice for safety but a bit of a hastle having them always shut. One or the other of the elevators seemed to be out of order the whole week we were there. The pools were always nice and clean along with the lobby. And the people that work there were always very friendly and helpful

AirbnbThis Airbnb has fascinating views to the ocean and laguna Madre! It is a very spacious condo for a party of 6. The master bathroom was a dream. Gorgeous tub with jet. It has a massive balcony where more that 12 people fit. Easy access to the beach. No need to find parking for that. Indoor and outdoor pool available. Washer and dryer at your disposable. I truly recommend this spot over a hotel. However, the elevator takes an eternity. You can read a chapter from your favorite book while you wait or maybe even check how stocks are doing. Parking can be a little chaotic. The fan in the bedroom had layers of dust. Cant use if you suffer from asthma or bad allergies. The a/c was not working. A/c was set at 75 degrees and it would only cool to 78 degrees. If the A/C is fixed and condo properly cleaned this is 4.5 star Airbnb. The elevator slowness can be a con if you are in a rush but a pro if you have patience. If you select this place, I hope you make beautiful memories just like my family did.

For the past 4 years my family and I have stayed here. Why you ask? We enjoy the boardwalk walks to the beach, have a rinse off area for after the Sandy beach fun. Our stay consist of 2 rooms & 2 bathrooms, living area, kitchen, and laundry room=(awesome). Insteading of heading out to buy food just bring your own and cook it your way. One can walk a few blocks for groceries & other stores. You will love the area

The venue was great except for the elevators. My wife was in one when it stopped working. She was between the 3rd and 4th floor. A worker and myself had to work the doors to where they would open and she could quickly climb out. It was a little scary but the rest of the stay was nice.

Great Facilities including the pool area and the Staff were very attentive. Right next to Boomerang Billys beach bar where we discovered live music by a very talented local called Leslie.beach access was great and again we could enjoy seeing some of the wonderful sandcastles that were being built by families from all over.highly recommended and security was good too.

We stayed in 807, we love this unit well decorated and has a beachy feel. All the kitchen supplies to cook a gourmet meal or even nuke a sandwich. Including spices.Nice wet bar so we can enjoy a drink watching the Gulf of Mexico as the sunsets or the bay as well. I am not usually up for sunrise but have heard by others its great from the patio watching or going for a stroll on the beach.Walking distance to nearby shopping as well as entertainment district.The island also offers a free shuttle with a stop in front of Suntide III.Great place and staff.

We stay in unit 508, it is a very nicely furnished 3 bedroom and has a really cool sea life chandelier & wet bar. This unit is in the center of the building for a perfect beach view. The kitchen has all the utensils and cooking supplies you would need and they provide coffee, towels, shampoo, and soap. Theres also a stacked washer and dryer. Indoor and outdoor pool & hot tub with private beach access. You can rent umbrellas and chairs from them and they will have them out on the beach for you when you are ready to go out. They have a business center with computers and a small library along with a fitness room. 4 stars only because parking is a bit frustrating, its a small lot.

I stayed in Condo 201. It is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo with a full size kitchen and family room overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. We loved spending time on the large balcony listening to and watching the waves roll in.The condo is light and airy with a beach theme. The beds are comfy and the kitchen and bar are well stocked. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit.Suntide III has two pools, two hot tubs, a sauna and tennis and basketball courts! The facility is well maintained and staff are helpful and friendly.I was able to truly relax and enjoy my stay while on the island!

The Condo we stayed in (806) was a beautiful 3br 3ba condo. The ONLY complaint we had was that the kitchen was stocked with cookware/bakeware that should have been replaced YEARS ago. Would highly recommend this unit, but either plan on eating out for every meal or bring your own cookware.
