These apartments have been wonderful for the past four years I lived here. The location is great! Close to downtown and easy to hop on the highways to go to north or south Austin. Airport is a quick 15 min drive. The staff here always goes above and beyond to make sure the tenants are welcomed and taken care of. Maintenance is also wonderful and takes care of requests in a very timely manner. I love how all the staff both office and maintenance is the same friendly faces! They are also very pet friendly with a dog park. The units themselves might not be the most up to date with appliances; however everything works as it should. After being in other more high end apartments, I will say I will take the great location and wonderful staff over a place with newest finishings that is lacking in the other two areas. And to top it off, it might be one of the last places in this area with close proximity to downtown that is not run down to have rent for a one bedroom under 1200 a month. These are actual one bedrooms not studios. If you are in the market to look for something affordable near downtown, definitely check out Wildcreek!

My roommate and I moved into these apartments 2 weeks ago. If you are looking for a cozy cheap apartment these are the apartments for you! We have not had any significant issues. The apartment staff is very nice and the community is great. We have not had any problems with bugs. We did have some minor issues when we first got here like the dishwasher not working, a light bulb out etc but again nothing significant . When we saw the model there was a bar area in the living room. When we got into our apartment for the first time, we were a little disappointed to see a fireplace instead of a bar. I would recommend waiting to sign the lease until you have seen your apartment. The apartments will let you chose another unit if you dont like the look of the one you chose originally. Other than some small things , these apartments are amazing and i would recommend them to anyone!

Not much of a reviewer but I’ve lived here for a couple years now so I might as well. It’s a nice place, affordable and convenient location for my buds and I to live at. The office has always been helpful, and maintenance has been fast with repairs when needed. There’s on-site laundromats as well as pools for on-site amenities. For a first apartment, or one you’ll want to live in for a while, this is a good place to consider. Oh, and it’s got access to Google Fiber. Big plus for me.

I lived at Wildcreek, in 3 different apartments, over a span of 6 years and I will say that I was 100% satisfied while residing there! I recently moved out of Austin due to family matters but would absolutely rent here again if I ever returned.First of all, the staff were excellent to work with, very attentive and communicative. In 25 yrs of renting apartments in Chicago and Austin, this was the the best experience and where I lived the longest. In all honesty, I consider them friends. Maintenance was excellent and tended to my issues quickly and thoroughly. I was very impressed. The apartments are updated and comfortable, plus you can’t beat the rent cost considering the price gouging that is happening in Austin for ‘new’ housing made from lesser quality materials. Trust me on that, many of my clients are carpenters and electricians and they say thumbs down for the overpriced fancy new buildings. Finally, I have and will again, thank everyone on staff for a great 6yrs. I highly recommend taking a look at Wildcreek if you’re in the market for a safe, friendly and nicely priced neighborhood. I miss living here.-Bobby Cortez

This place somehow attracts good people; my neighbors are great!Management takes care of any problems that come up quickly and with no hassle. When some water pipes burst in the bad storm here in February, they kept vacant apartments open and available for use by those affected, for showers and water availability until repairs could be made, which were done within the week, much sooner than many nearby areas. They have a big fan in me!

One of the last affordable places near downtown that regular people would actually want to live in. All the other complexes in the area are either refurbished and now cost an arm and a leg for fancy paint and new-ish lights and stuff, or are ghetto and have people living in them that I wouldnt want to be neighbors with. The neighbors in my area are all pretty chill, and we all get along fine. Theres really no drama here. The staff is what makes this place, though. Maintenance is fast and fixes everything the first time you call, and the office ladies are super friendly and will chat with you when you go in. They always know your name and where you live and actually remember what you talked about last time you were in, so you arent just a number to them. I definitely would recommend this place to friends. Its a nice place to live but not over the top fancy, and the price reflects that. I dont care about granite counters and marble bathrooms, and if you dont either, this is the place to live. Ill probably stay here until Im ready for a house or if my job moves me out of Austin.

Ive lived in seven apartment complexes and a few rented houses and this is the only one Ive decided to stick with beyond a year. The buildings are older, the parking lot has some minor drainage issues, but the pricing is very fair in regard to that and none of that stuff bothers me anyway. Ive lived in newly built apartments and rented nicer houses, but always with a roommate or roommates. When it comes to upgrading your living situation nothing beats simplifying your life by leaving the roommates behind. The lower price point cleared my financial conscience to do just that.Theres rarely any bothersome noise at night. No loud morons blasting music or partying and forcing their neighbors to confront them or get the police out on a noise complaint. No half-drunk idiots over-revving the $25,000 dollar car mommy and daddy bought them for their 18th birthday coming in and out of the parking lot. In fact, the only issues with noise arise from the neighboring apartment complex (University Estates) which is filled exclusively with college students and managed by tools. But its not an issue most of time and probably only affects you if you live on the side that neighbors them (which I do).In some of the other apartments Ive lived the college student population hit a critical mass and complicated the lives of other tenants. The population here is too diverse for that; families, couples, and single folks well out of college along with some students. Never had a problem with another tenant. Finally the staff, the most important part. Ive used some pointed expletives to describe the staff of some of my previous apartments in the past. The folks that work here make those guys look like complete clowns. Everyone here is on the ball, hands-on, friendly, and professional without being cold and corporate about it. One of the owners actually works in the front office, so youre not disconnected from the top level of management, theres no buffer zone of powerless underlings to absorb tenant complaints and allow the upper management to ignore and delay them in comfort. The staff here recognize when to be flexible, when to stand firm, and seem good at adapting over time. They are reasonable, real people and they handle their business with agility. The maintenance crew guys are friendly and handy. Theyve clearly had some years of experience and are more than capable of handling any of the usual mishaps or wear and tear issues that apartments run into.Bottom line, the fact that the staff arent pricks is the primary reason I renew my lease every year and the last 10 years of renting have taught me that the staff make or break the rental location, not a poorly-stocked gym with no barbells or dumbbells over 50lbs or a club house with a big screen or whatever other random amenities youll never use.

The Wildcreek Apartments off of Faro Drive are a hidden gem. The community is quiet and peaceful--definitely family friendly and open to anyone. Its based at a prime location close to downtown with an awesome HEB just 5 minutes away. There are tons of affordable dining options and its close to running trails/outdoor spots. Pet friendly (fenced dog park), 2 pools, grills, and a basketball court--its impossible to find another 2 bedroom apartment with the same value at an affordable monthly rate in the area. The management team is very friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff are quick to take care of any issues. Theyve recently invested in repainting the exteriors of the apartments and they fixed up the parking lots. Id recommend Wildcreek to any of my friends looking for a new spot close to downtown Austin.

I have lived at Wildcreek since 2013 and have made the best decision of apartment choices I possibly could have. Ultra clean community! Management staff is beyond awesome!!!!! They are friendly and very helpful! The maintenance staff is also amazing, I always see them in my daily comings and goings and they are friendly and they are quickly responsive to a request. As far as I am concerned this is not apartment living.....this is my home and I love it! Seriously, if you are not living here you are in the wrong place!

I have lived here for almost 9 years now. I moved here originally going to UT and it was a convenient place located on the shuttle. I first four years were rough in terms of clientele that stayed here. There were a few scary instances back in the early days but even during those years the management team was great. And over the last 4 years Wildcreek has vastly improved. The clientele has gotten immensely better and great improvements have been made to the apartments and exteriors. I have been taken care of very well by Margaret and the entire Wildcreek staff. Its a great affordable place to live and I highly recommend it.

Pretty solid apartments for the price. Ive lived here 2 years and the staff have been very friendly and accommodating. They just redid the parking lot and repainted the property so it looks nicer. Id recommend living here if youre looking for affordable housing in Austin

Best management and maintenance team Ive ever known. They keep tenants informed, value feedback and are hella prompt. Love the online payment option. These apartments have an old Austin charm (and price) that cant be beat!

I love Wildcreek! The office staff is always pleasant and willing to help. Margaret and Carolyn are problem-solvers and have always been just an e-mail or phone call away. They respond quickly to e-mails and I enjoy our text messaging system that sends property updates periodically. I dont plan on going anywhere anytime soon!

One of the best places you can live, the staff is great and helpful. Prices are great (for Austin). Close to the UT shuttle and not far from downtown. For the most part neighbors are good.

  • Review 17 (2018-08-16 - Rating: 5)

We lived there for 2 years and had no bad issues. A very short walk from UT shuttle. After we moved out, they returned the entire deposit back and only deducted the cleaning fee.

This place is great, love it. No real noise and no real large parties. Large field and helpful staff makes this place a great place to live. Pet friendly and welcoming with just a short walk to the UT Shuttle.

  • Review 20 (2015-09-12 - Rating: 5)

The staff are friendly and swift act if theres ever an issue, which isnt often. Its an older complex, but they keep it well maintained. You really cant beat the price for the area.
