    We are from the Dallas Texas area and we wanted to see or relatives from Kingsville and Corpus Christi Tx. We wanted to be near the beack so where did we end up at Villa Del Sol at Northbeach in Corpus Christi Tx. We stayed in the 2nd building on the 3rd floor. We had a very memorable weekend and spent time with family. Everything was close by where we wanted to go. The beach, The Beach Stores, Whataburger, The Lexington, Convenient store. Everything was awesome! We had so much fun. We even played music and games that the Condo happily has conveniently for us to play. Never a boring day. Thank you Donna for allowing us to make new memories for us and our relatives. THANK YOU.

    My family and I stayed here for a month and two weeks Due to my husband working 45 miles north from Corpus Christi. Each condo is privately owned so pricing will vary. We stayed in room 1123 owned by Irene and Randy they were great, understanding and easy to work with. They have their condo well taken care of, fully furnished well decorated with a fun theme.We enjoyed Villa del Sol amenities which are the 2 pools, 4 BBQ areas, private parking lot, fitness room, business center, conference center. We visited both pools mainly the pool in the first building. It was well taken care of. They tried really hard to keep it clean for the next morning. For the most part it was clean aside from the feathers that feel down from old birds flying above. I checked out the fitness room it is really outdated it’s mainly weights, the only bicycle that was there was broken not usable. We did not use the barbecue area. The parking lot is okay i felt safe living my truck unsupervised by me. They do have night security so I wasn’t worried. One thing though the elevators do need to be updated I know they said they were in the process of doing that.The best feature is that the beach it is literally our backyard I enjoyed the beach when I wasn’t on jellyfish patrol. We have a three-year-old son so I was scared because every time we went to the beach we seen 2 to 3 jellyfishes. This was our first experience ever at the beach and also with the jellyfishes. If You are lucky enough you might find washed up jellyfishes on the sand so be careful when you are walking on the beach.

    The staff are excellent, and the amenities are excellent.If you would like to hang out and go directly to the beach, do it.If you have a project in Corpus for work, why wouldnt you stay on the beach?The Villa Del Sol is a great place to either lay low or have a family holiday.

    We went with my daughter and son-in-law. The condo was cozy. Most everything we needed was there including a blender to make margaritas. There was plenty of space for sleeping. We found it on Airbnb so be sure to look it up. Great rate. The place has a gym, heated pool, regular pool, and hot tub. Just walk out the back gate onto the beach. Just watch for jellyfish. Great food in the area as well. Cant wait to be there again.

    We rented 2 condos which were at least in the same building. My brother has rented multiple times in the past and wanted to take us.From this visit alone, each condo is independently owned and differ quite a bit even if its the same floor plan.Can definitely see the age of the structure in general. You can see work being done, albeit sloppy in my opinion. Example painting done in stairwell but really paint all over the floor. Hope they paint floor last.Biggest advantage is distance to beach! Due to proximity probably quieter than area to the south. Would return but would really depend on which unit you may get.

    Our family had a great stay at this property in condo #1334. The unit was clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect for our spring break trip to enjoy the local sights and attractions. In the evenings our kids enjoyed swimming in the heated pool which was perfect for the spring weather. Well definitely keep this place in mind for any future stays.

    We stayed is Suite #2305 the room was clean and it had everything that we needed, It was in a Great location in Front of the Beach, with full beach View, the Suite is on the 3rd floor with stairs right outside of it, we didn’t mind walking up and down from them, so didn’t used the elevator, the complex is gated and kept locked at all times, so didn’t worry about our car, like other reviews.     Cute & cozy place to stay. It had all we needed: laundry’s, drier, fridge, AC, microwave. It seems a bit sketchy at first (it looks old) but it’s nice. I guess it depends on the unit you are placed in.Would come back again (if I get the same unit)

    Great location, down from the Lexington. This is my 1st time at North Beach, and it was very clean with plenty of parking. The condos are all privately owned and we booked through AirBnB. The only issue was an unexpected parking fee for guests.

    Its conveniently located on North Beach. The staff works hard at upkeep, and I like the renovation to the patio area by building 2. Speaking of building 2, the elevator goes down on a regular basis, so be prepared to take the stairs at any given moment. There are swimming pools at buildings 1 and 3. The pool at building 1 is heated, so swimming is pretty much possible year round.

    The ONLY reason this place is getting 5 stars is because of who we rented through on AirBnB! They are the people to stay with!! Beyond friendly. Super professional.     This is for a rental unit at Villa Del Sol. Overall a positive stay. Check in process was smooth and uneventful, as was checkout process. Parking costs extra (it should just be part of the cost). The building this unit is in needs updating and outside repair...the wear and tear shows (they are currently doing some major upgrading of several units and some units were not open for rental due to construction/repair, this is probably out of control of the individual unit owners, so I dont want to blame them), especially those that directly face the beach. The unit we rented is nice, but a bit smaller than the pictures would indicate. It met our needs though and was tastefully decorated and well provisioned with necessary kitchen items. The porch view is accurately depicted in the listing and was nice to sit outside facing the bay/beach. The unit itself was clean, but had a musty smell upon entering that never really went away. Location is fine for some nice restaurants, the USS Lexington, and the Aquarium. Access to the buildings is supposed to be limited via the gate card key issued at check-in, but we did find some gates propped open on the beach side. This is not the fault of the unit owners, but it does cause a bit of concern regarding overall security of the facility.

    There to meet with the owner of a unit to rent it for them. The units are very nice. It is a beautiful location. They used to do rentals , and they said now you have to go to Air B&B. I have no idea of cost , but I would look cant be more than a hotel on beach.

    Great place with great prices. Rooms are small, but beats a hotel any day! Love the private balconies, especially in the morning with coffee and views of the Gulf! If you want to swim, go to the Island though. The bay isnt the best place to swim in...

    Incredible place to bring your family with Littles. The beach is several steps from the hotel building. There is a nice concrete walking trail if you dont want to get wet!Add the USS Lady Lex (Lexington) to your Corpus. The distance from the hotel to the ship is very short (1 block. Its about a 10-minute walk. Stop and pay your respects to those who served on this beautiful beast!

    This is a really cool place for a weekend getaway at the beach. You get a great room that is actually a full house that will sleep 6 people comfortably. Fully furnished with all necessities you need except the food that you can prepaid in your kitchen. Cable TV and Internet and a great view of Corpus Christi Bay in every balcony. The Staff here are really great and security is 5 star. If you want a relaxing weekend at the beach or an extended stay you need to check this place out.

    We air bnb this place. Rates were very reasonable. Didnt have too much contact with the hostess, just normal instructions and such, not personable, auto generated messages. You have to check in at the lobby, the girl working up there was VERY ACCOMMODATING, and extremely knowledgeable, she was a great help. Kudos to her!!

    Clean room with plenty of towels, kitchen was stocked with essentials. They have coffee, stove, fridge, dishes. Very nice place right on the beach. The wind never stops blowing. The room had a balcony with chairs and table.

    Older condominium but gorgeous and right on the beach. The free Gym isnt worth the time. It really is the beach access that makes me love it. It is walking distance to many restaurants & the USS Lexington. The pool is always kept clean & the place is secure with gates surrounding the entire facility, they’re is a lot of repairs being done but no noise or anything! VERY CHEAP compared to hotel!

    Security guard was very sweet and Helpful! One of our guests arrived after hours and he was able to a parking pass and park inside the gates. All of our stuff was left in the bed of our truck there we stayed 6 nights and nothing was stolen. Its a very big deal to be able to stay and sleep well knowing your vehicle and belongings are safe.

    I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay withing walking distance of the beach and the USS Lexington ship. The rooms are very opened and spacious for a family of 4. I would definitely stay here again, thanks for allowing me and my family to stay during 05/03/21-05/05/21 in condo 1310. Thanks btaylor for setting this up for my family and I to stay as we greatly enjoyed our time here!

    We stayed in condo 1105, maintained by Orlando C. We loved the amazing view of the beach from the balcony! We spent every morning with our coffee on the balcony, just taking in the sights and sounds. So relaxing!! This is an incredibly well maintained and cozy condo. Orlando has done a great job on this one!! Well organized, helpful and very easy to deal with!

    We had a Great stay in 1210, George and Paula were the best hosts ever ! It was just like home, Paula thought of everything when setting up kitchen and bathroom . The view was spectacular!     Perfect place to celebrate a Birthday Weekend with Close Friends.🎈 🏖Loved that it had an enclosed Fence and all you needed was your card to gain entry to the beach, which was just yards from our Condo. Boardwalk and the Ocean, led all the way down to Fajitaville for drinks and having Ferris Wheel Ocean with a Full Moon shining down on you from your balcony to the walks on the boardwalk made it even more special. 🌚Definitely coming back next year for my Birthday again! Price was reasonable, especially because your given so many options how to spend your Day and walk right back to your Condo for a safe restful night!I loved it.. Its definitely a must if your coming down for a vacation in Corpus Christi,Texas. Better then staying on the other side of the Harbor Bridge! Safe, Affordable, Clean, Access to Beach and Boardwalk, equals perfect for Disabled, the Romantics, Family and the Adventurous 🎡📷👙🍷

    My husband is staying here while working.It is not the Hilton but it works for him. Hes staying in room 1215 and the owner is very nice and fair with pricing. The property is clean as can be. The beach is great too.

    The view was awesome so peaceful and relaxing. Slept great and everything was perfect. Most close Restaurants and grocery shopping is in Portland tx exit Wildcats to get to most things. Coming back to condo exit North Beach before big bridge. Helpful hints. Blackbeards restaurant has the best shrimp with coconut sauce very close by

    We stayed here in room 3203 for 3nights/days. Beach front spot for sure. Walking distance to Fajitaville and the USS Lexington. The office staff was friendly. My only complaint I wish they had elevators at both ends of the buildings they just have 1.

    IF YOU MAKE A COMMENT PLEASE GIVE A NAME AND THE CONDO NUMBER. Every unit here is individually owned . I have owned one of the condos for 30 years now. I have even been on the board. I advertise on VRBO and Trip Advisor. I am transparent on those websites that the complex is under very slow repair due to new management. I show pictures of the complex at its worst 10 years ago or so. I have 4 and 5 star reviews.Almost all the reviews on those websites are great about the condos themselves and the owners (clean, owner helpful, honesty, etc). But for the past 15 years one owner has gotten the most bad reviews. It is obvious that the good reviews for this owner are not real.This person told me that if the sheets smell good, you do not need to change them. This person has been seen only cleaning with a broom and sweeping it under the refrigerator. I spoke to one of this owners guests who said they rented a condo from hell. I saw it with fixtures hanging and holes in the wall and black mold (told she will never get a refund). I showed them mine and they were amazed.This is one review I saw on trip advisor an exact quote: pay half now pay half a week later so you pay $700 now and once you move in and realize how dirty it is its to late to move out. So youre either out $700 for a week stay or you ride it out and pay the other $700. During our stay our bed SHEETS WERE DIRTY when we arrived, there wasnt a broom, mop, a sink plug to do dishes, THE COUCHES WERE RIPPED. There was MOLD in the bathroomThis one owner is Reprehensible and has the most bad reviews. One person ruins it for everyone. I think everyone should avoid this person and if they cant, dispute the charges on your credit card, which you should always use. Even though I know this information to be true, I will not put the name as this owner goes by several alias anyway. Rent on a reputable web site and read reviews and dont fall for this persons scamming.

    ROOM #3226My room was beautiful, the owner was helpful and informative.The management of the complex was horrible, pool hours were whenever they felt like opening and closing them. The dryer on this floor didnt work so we had to go downstairs. BUT the room was worth it all.

    Condos there are true Waterfront condos close to the USS Lexington, close to the Corpus Christi Hooks AAA ball field, close to the Maritime Museum, and the Texas State Aquarium its a must see lots of fun lots to do in a short area .my stay at unit 1300 was off the hook. Clean, and well kept. No hassles.....

    Amazing location right on the water front. Condo I rented was faceing the water and it was great to sit on the balcony and watch the pelicans swoop down to grab fish...AMAZING views of the naval ship thats docked right along the same shore.

    Well I have been in a few situations with the help there i lived there for 5 years 2 different times and im sad to say each time was a great time until the leasing agents became owners as they believe we meaning my family owned and used our condo for personal use but we sold out of the place I wasnt sure if I was going to rent or buy another needless to say during the time I had these bad experience with the leasing agents that handles cleaning and Leasing the condos that investors own and the families out of town as well its a great time dealing with the local area realtors katen Castillo absolutely stole $1800.00 from us and another party over $4500.00 new ac as well as a complete remodeling job other wise the staff is great but watch out for the security they are friendly with the reality people must i say more about this topic dont care to continue it would be nice if i had my belongings that were sat out on the breeze way not only did Karen take my money she also stole from me weather or not if she had taken it or gave it to a resident as i have been told. i didnt have a eviction notice nor had time to get my thing . I lost over $3000.00 on personal belongings and was told by other residents that karens agreement with the people who took my things could have them if they moved them for her be careful with the reality people be sure to ask for a reality lic most dont have them seem to me that the manager of the villa del sol should have to act on these actions have a great day! gmann #2117 stay clear

    An older place but great views, usually pretty quiet, and most condo rentals are cheaper than elsewhere. Elaines Condos is the best of the companies that rent condos out of Villa Del Sol....Elaine will do what she says and quickly take care of any issues you might have with the condo.

    Pluses : all the balconies face the beach as far as I can tell. Minuses, parking lot needs repaving. The roads around there all need it badly.
