I appreciated the stay here very much. Planning for the middle of January weather clouds n rain were expected. The cold winds from the North were not expected. Nothing to swim in the Gulf water was planned. Yet the warm water of the swim pool and hot tub were greatly appreciated. The property is maintained very well by my observation. The apartment was very much as advertised.Thanks to all the staff for your support.

Id like to share my experience with the resort. The property is well-maintained and located very close to the beach. It features two pools with jacuzzis and comfortable seating, as well as various amenities such as tennis courts and a toddler playground. The property is gated and has staff and security, and guests are required to wear wrist bands throughout their stay for easy identification.It would have been better if we could have changed the wrist bands during our long stay, but unfortunately, that wasnt an option. Each condo is uniquely decorated and furnished, and some are more updated than others. While we stayed in the same condo last year and found it to be in excellent and clean condition, this year we encountered some issues. The washer was not functioning properly and one of the bathrooms had plumbing problems - the toilet wouldnt flush and the shower had poor water pressure. The cleanliness also didnt meet our expectations - there were hairs and unclean flooring from previous renters in the bathroom, which required us to use cleaning products to remedy the situation.Its possible that the cleaning agency may have changed, as the experience was not up to par with previous years, especially given the high price we paid. Additionally, there were multiple fees associated with the rental, which seemed higher than our previous experiences with booking rentals.

My family and I just finished a week long stay at Villas at Bahia Mar and I cannot recommend it enough!The property itself is well monitored and maintained. Two different pools to choose from with hot tubs. I saw the pools thoroughly cleaned daily. Our particular condo was very very well maintained and cleaned. I was expecting it to be like Airbnb - where we’d have a list of things to do before check out. Nope! No extra cleaning deposit where we booked also (through booking.com). They had the perfect amount of trash bags and toilet paper we needed for a week with a family of 5. The location is perfect. We easily saw the claytons fireworks on Friday and Saturday.We used to stay at the Hilton but for a family this was so much better. Having the space to spread out and separate rooms and multiple bathrooms and a full kitchen was SO nice.All in all - have nothing bad to say about our stay. Highly recommend and we just found out new regular spot for our annual vacation there!

This location was very nice, my family and I rented a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom two story condo. It had three nice balcony’s, it was right by the large swimming pool and just a few feet away from the beach. Great lounging area at the pool and also ocean front lounging as well.

Nice clean rooms but walls and ceiling are thin. So you hear EVERYTHING. Also if you are in the bedroom beside the outside stairs. You hear EVERY booming step till they get to their floor. The pools are nice and clean and you can walk right onto the beach.

Enjoyed the place, unit I stayed in could use some updates, other then that very convenient, no worries about getting in and out just one think I didnt like is having to have a wrist band at all times and you could not remove it when sleeping or showering. I wish the owners will reconsider and try a different option.

Spent the week here right after 4th of July. Rooms were spacious and seemed very extravagant. Counters and floor were so sparkly. Nice there was washer and dryers in the room. Missing Some pots and pans which would suck except we had 3 rooms so between the 3 we had what we needed. Two pools, gym and nice beach access is amazing.

Wow wow wow. We love this place!!! It has amazing views from the villa(unit 573) and superbly kept grounds and wonderful courteous security. You feel so safe whether its the gated drive in or walking up from the private beach access. The price is so close to staying at a nice hotel but so many more amenities and luxury feeling. We are looking forward to visiting again and again!!!

Excelente property , family oriented . Clean premises . Two swimming pools , tennis court and playground . Solare building with nice view to the ocean or Bahia area . Nice service of renting tents and have ready for you on the beach if you requested to the property managers for a fee . Nice grill area . You can watch fire works Saturday night that happened close by . At night it was fun to go crab hunting , and then returning it back to the beach . Nice waves to do belly surfing . Nice experience overall.

Very nice location, just off of the beach. The condo was nice, but had some issues with the fridge leaking and stove not working. It was interesting that the door didnt have a manual lock from the inside, and a maintenance worker just walked in when we were there. Spooky. Luckily, were flexible and still had an amazing time.

We have stayed at this resort many times. It is always perfectly manicured lawns and clean. There is a long sidewalk leading to the beach with a private boardwalk.Anyway, if you go, the pools and hot tubs are beautiful. Parking is easy enough. No shade though for most of the day.Overall, I highly recommend this place. The noise really was only that one time several years ago.

We visit yearly and always stay here. Such a beautiful property! Very convenient to have beach access, two pools with jacuzzi, playground, tennis and basketball courts. Love the extra security measures and that they offer services to set up tarps and chairs for you. One less hassle! Beach is beautiful and appreciate how the area is rarely packed. Great area for dogs and kids.

It was great, me and my family (6 adults and 3 kids) enjoyed the 3 bedroom condo with a private pool. The only thing I recommend getting fixed is the fridge since it didnt start for a good 6 hours and properly cleaning the private pool. There was a lot of sand in it, along with multiple seashells and toys from the last guests. Other than that it was great, I would definitely stay agian.

Great place except they need heated pools. We are so disappointed that the pools aren’t heated. Condo is great. Staff is friendly. Accessibility to everything is good. Easy to get to the beach. We would stay again if the pool was heated but it’s a deal breaker for us so we will look for a different place for next year!

Very well located from the main road.We stayed in an apartment that is in great condition and very well located by one of the pools. However the exterior of the buildings in general look worn and in desperate need of some TLC.The common areas, pools and gardens are in great conditions of maintenance. They look very good.The complex feels secure. Traffic in is controlled and every visitor has a wristband that the security personnel can check.The direct access to the beach is very convenient kept clear for access. However it is through wooden stairs. No wheelchair accessible.

Unit 977.Pros:1. 3 bedroom 3 bath is amazing!!! Everyone has their own bathroom for every room.2. For the most part quiet, comfortable, and clean3. Beautiful complex - feels like you’re in a resort4. AC worked well once you figure it out.Areas to improve on:1. Lighting- how hard is it to match the colors of all the lights? Also make sure lamps have working lights.2. Better wifi3. We bought some curtains to give us some privacy. I felt so exposed. We left it there.4. Ac seems to have some motion detector as it kept changing. It’s really frustrating.Overall, I would stay again if given a chance.FYI: pack light… there’s no elevator and this is in 3rd floor!!!

Great place to relax on the beach.The gated entrance prevents people from coming in that arent staying here. Security is good.It covers about 15 acres, has 2 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, and 2 tennis courts. It also has play equipment for the children.The grounds are really nice after dark with the lights shining up on the palm trees. The children think staying here is the highlight of our trip.

My family and I recently stayed at this wonderful resort. The pictures here do not give justice to the renovations by the pool area now. There is also a sitting deck that faces the ocean and is near the fireworks display on the island. My only complaint is that the rinse area off the private beach should have cleaned hourly or semi hourly to keep sand from sticking to the shower area thereby making the rinse pointless. Everything went well from the check in to the check out and the staff was extremely accommodating.

We recently stayed May 2018 for my daughters graduation.. My family and friends came from out of town and they were amazed with the Beautiful condos all 3 condos, were phenomenal the whole resort is phenomenal!! Luxury at its best!! fully equipped kitchens.. it felt amazing washer and dryer.. The landscaping is phenomenal!! We walked to Claytons every night on the Beach.. we will always stay at the Bahia Mar from now on.

Really nice place! The outside shows weather wear but the interior is great. The two pools are well placed as are the tennis courts. Its located between two beach bars which is fun... about a 10 minute beach walk to Claytons and a 20 minute beach walk to Wanna Wanna. You can see Claytons Fri & Sat fireworks from the condo grounds. Blue Marlin is the island grocery store but Dollar General has a LOT of non-perishable foods at MUCH better prices.

We chose this resort for a laid-back honeymoon and are very glad we did. The grounds are beautiful, two spacious pools, two hot tubs and access right to the beach just a few steps away. We are staying in the garden villas, not the tower, and because they are individually owned rentals I’ve heard that the Decour can vary from condo to condo. I was likely was very recently refinished with beautiful white marble floors, granite countertops and all white woodwork. The room is extremely clean, plenty of towels and little extras for cooking and home comforts. We will definitely return!

I absolutely loved this neighborhood!I went for my quick getaway and it was a wonderful idea. With parking lot for guests and of course the residents, nice benches around the lake, everything impeccable, and a gorgeous landscaping around the entire area.I cant wait to go back!

Not too bad. Security is good. Have to wear a stupid wrist band. The unit only has a small fridge so u cant stock any groceries. 3 glasses were broke on arrival. Carpet was tore up at the door and a few stains but overall not bad. Has 2 pools and hot tubs outside. A gym as well. 70s architecture. Several substantial repairs to some of the buildings under way. Internet and cable function well. Furnishings are ok looking and comfortable and decent shape but cheap stuff. Cant say I would furnish it better if I was the owner. Views from the main building are not ocean views. The cooktop is pretty lame. Things I would do different, larger fridge, install a small safe, better cooking unit. I would stay again.

Terrific place to stay, we tried an air bnb with Vacasa. Was the best ever! Very clean and modern had the best views from the top of the building could see beach, lagoon and island. Very accommodating facilities with private beach and 2 pools. Never felt over crowded and was peaceful. I highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean, luxury 3 bdrm/3 bth on 10th floor. Couldnt get beach side, but views were gorgeous anyway. Friendly staff, lots of security. Boardwalk with couches led to the beach. Rentals for chairs, loungers and umbrellas was reasonable. Relaxing vacation for family.
