I can’t say enough about working with Steve Shire as my broker, resulting in securing 21,000 sf for the largest indoor Pickleball club in San Antonio.This was a true journey, for over a year, as I struggled with my vision to be realized with investors and partners. At one point, our landlord, Sterling Organization with 70 shopping centers, had me re-start the deal, as my current partner came on board replacing the last, and 6 months of negotiations. Steve was with me every step of the way.My lease was 75 pages long. While Steve set me up with a trusted real estate attorney, combined with partnership docs, getting to the end involved 4 teams of lawyers, with Steve and myself in the middle, to the point of sometimes catching a $1000 an hr lawyer on a missed response after 2 weeks.Steve is not only my broker now, he’s “my guy”. We are already looking at an expansion space of 8 more Pickleball courts. I almost don’t want to write this review, because I want him all to myself, as in the highly competitive world of indoor Pickleball taking the US by storm, Steve is now one of the true experts. He’s been through pillars, ceiling heights, is a tennis player himself, and has been with me on multiple floor plans and layouts. In Austin and San Antonio, I believe he is literally the most experienced commercial agent/ broker in the world of Pickleball. I certainly know I wouldn’t trust anyone other than Steve at this point. But like I said, Steve is my guy, so if you want to borrow him to close your own indoor pickleball facility, you better have your ducks in a row, because he’s already made miracles happen for me, and I’m not letting him go easy!Steve is an old school soldier. He’s a guy who gives it to you straight. He responds like a professional, is on top of everything starting at 8 am on Monday, and he has the respect of top commercial landlords in the country. If you don’t want to mess around with your project, and you want it done, and to feel like you have the best at your side taking care of you, that guy is Steve Shire. Love you brother! Thank you for all you’ve done, and I’m super excited to keep working with you on our expansion. You’re invaluable to me and my team!

I’m glad we got to work with Steve throughout our commercial real estate search! He’s clearly very knowledgeable and has copious experience in this industry. Steve has gone above and beyond helping us find the right space for us, it was a very long process trying to find what we were looking for in the Austin market, but Steve stuck with us from beginning to end. His communication was extraordinary from day one, we’ve never had to wait for a response from Mr. Shire. His punctuality and responsiveness speak volumes about his dedication, he made us feel like we were his only clients, and that’s some thing very difficult to find these days. He follows up very regularly with updates and responds to any of your questions or concerns very quickly. He put in a lot of work for us and patiently got us what we needed. Steve was tremendous as a broker. I had a very long process to solidify my commercial lease and Steve was with me every step of the way providing both insight and advice. This was my first time executing a commercial lease and I do not believe that I would have been able to do it without the continued support form Steve.His work ethic is fantastic and I do not believe I went more than one hour without receiving a response if I had a question about anything; you can always count on Steve. After realizing that locating and leasing commercial property on my own was not going to be easy or fruitful I was lucky enough to contact Steve. From start to finish the process was thorough, thoughtful, artfully explained and managed. Steve is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. He quickly understood what we needed, showed us appropriate properties and got us through the process intelligently. His communication skills are excellent and timely. Also and maybe equally important Steve has been there for us in the weeks since we signed the lease and moved to aid and advise us with issues and questions. I highly recommend Steve.

This review is long overdue (could not figure out how to leave a Google review for the life of me), but Steve Shire is the best in the business. My small company and I were looking to move into a larger location - our business is pretty unique and had specific requirements in terms of how the rooms had to be arranged. Steve made multiple visits to our old location to get a good grasp of what we wanted, then proceeded to find 20-30 listings that we might be interested in. After we expressed interest in 4-5, he showed us each location based on our schedule, kept us informed throughout the entire process, and really just provided absolutely pristine communication the whole time. If we ever need to find another location in Austin, Steve Shire will be the first person I contact. You can not go wrong with him - thanks so much Steve for helping our young business grow and for the efficient, painless process of finding a new home.

Steve Shire really came through for me and my company on finding a nice office in this extremely hot real estate market. He was always available to show property and was very knowledgeable of the Austin area. If it wasnt for Steve being so responsive I know that we wouldnt have found our perfect office for us. I’m a health care professional and decided I was done leasing and paying other people’s mortgages. I chose Steve because many others had written very positive reviews about his knowledge of property in the area, his approachable nature, his impeccable communication skills (that really come in handy when putting out inevitable fires during this process), and his willingness to teach. I’ve learned that Steve’s reputation is well earned. The only quality that was left out in those reviews that needs to be highlighted based on my experiences is his integrity. I just closed on my office condo today and want to let others know how wonderful this process can be with someone like Steve by your side. I highly recommend first time buyers to choose Steve because he knows what he’s doing and will make you feel supported and less “lost” during the process. I contacted Steve Shire with Shire Commercial to help me find a suitable space for my martial arts and fitness business.I was not sure where to look or what was involved in leasing a commercial real estate space and Steve helped me thru every step .Once we had an agreement in place, he did everything he said he would do for me and my business.He really helped me feel like I was important and not just another number, he was always there for me and his follow up was great and he was very professional and responsive.I would recommend Shire Commercial to anyone looking for commercial real estate to lease in Austin Texas.
