We were very pleased to work with Steve to sell our home. Steve is knowledgeable on all aspects of the buying/selling process as well as maintenance and local contractors. He was responsive to all communication and developed a quality market analysis. He worked hard, held multiple open houses, and spread the word about our house through his network. We were very impressed with the photographer he hired too. He represented us well at all stages including the final inspection and closing. We ran into Steve at an open house 10 years ago. At that time, he became our buyers agent. Here recently weve come to appreciate his insights as our sellers agent. We would be happy to recommend Steve to others.

On a Saturday afternoon mid August 2023 my partner and I were driving down Broadway and I told her to pull into the Phyllis Browning parking lot. Steve introduced himself and I proceeded to explain our unique situation. I explained to him our frustration of trying to find a condominium in the Alamo Heights area within our budget that included having to weigh in many other complicating factors including our two senior furry members of our family. The added caveat was the fact that my uncle and aunt were a part of this effort as they were providing the capital for the down payment. A very large down payment so they had a lot of bearing on the decision. Until we met Steve we had no idea that condos even had a restriction on dogs (height, weight and number). Steve did all the research and narrowed it down to two properties in the area we were specifying. The first few we saw were in budget but needed updating and we did not have the revenue for it. Steve has an amazing ability to remember details of what we are looking for. With each showing he learned something else about us and remembered it. With each showing he was getting us closer and closer to what we really wanted.About a month ago Steve took us to see a condo at Chateaux Dijon and while it met some of our ideals it was still not exactly what we wanted. This investment was so important to us as my aunt and uncle were helping us buy our home that we plan to keep for our retirement. No more moving!!!!! Two days later Steve called us and asked us to meet him at Chateaux Dijon again. He hadn’t sent a listing to preview so we were curious as to what he had in store. When we arrived Steve met us in the parking lot with a big smile (as always) and a welcoming handshake (as always) and had us follow him to the elevator. He took us up to the third floor and on the way he explained that after showing us the other condo two days prior he went to the HOA office to talk to the staff and learned that a long time resident had let the HOA office staff know they would be selling their properties now that their tenants were finally out. Steve connected with the owner and when he saw the property Steve knew it was the one for us!! The property owner met us at the unit door. Steve was so excited to show us. When he opened the door and we walked in it was everything we ever wanted!!! WOW!!! We were stunned!!Steve discussed the offer with us and detailed that our budget price was a fair offer. When it came time to move forward with the offer and closing costs Steve spoke directly to my aunt and uncle and explained the different scenarios and the one that would be most effective and constructive for us. Luckily my uncle is a retired Navy fighter pilot and Steve who is a retired Air Force Stealth pilot was able to build a rapport right away. Immediately my aunt and uncle recognized his savvy and intent on helping us maximize the capital that has been given to us.Our offer was accepted and now we are moving into our forever home!!
