Dr. Coleman appraised several pieces of art for my siblings and me following our fathers passing. She was accurate, quick, professional, trustworthy. Her fees were reasonable and thoroughly explained. Dr. Colemans valuations were right on, and she also introduced us to an excellent art dealer who specializes in the work of a particular artist whose works we were interested in selling. Due to Dr. Colemans knowledge, reputation, and relationships, we were able to complete the whole process, from first reaching out for appraisal to final sale through a well-regarded expert, over a short period of time. We recommend Dr. Colemans services without hesitation.

I had no idea how to handle our appraisal, but Sally Coleman from Art Whit Appraisals moved me thru the process like a pro! She handled everything. It was fantastic and I will absolutely be using them again. Sallys expertise of art, along with the process itself, were invaluable and enabled me to get everything I needed for this particular gift - she even knew what IRS forms were needed! The best thing about Sally is she was proactive - I didnt even know the right questions to ask and Sally never made me feel as incompetent as I truly was. Sally is the consummate gracious professional. Her appraisals are thorough and punctual, and shes just plain lovely to work with. She made an estate task I was dreading a very painless process. Our files and materials were scattered and incomplete, and I was completely new to this process, but she handled it all with ease, and walked me through every step. Shes knowledgable, connected, and fairly priced given her high level of expertise. If youre looking for a qualified art appraiser - youve found the best here! Im a CPA who has been handling a large art collection for a client. Sally walked me through the meticulous steps required by the IRS and we sailed through the donation. Her work is excellent, efficient and a great value.
