    I contacted AWAC/ABCO regarding a master control board for a Whirlpool dryer. I was advised by a repairman to purchase a new one. Mr Jones offered to check it first to see if it was repairable before he sold me the $250 part. He fixed it within minutes for less than $50! Who does that these days?! What a gem! He was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and I will trust him with all my future needs for appliance repairs and parts. THE BEST! Thank you!!

    I was referred to ABCO from a friend who told me this was a great place for repairs, parts and appliances. My friend was 100% right.I walked in with a dryer issue that I thought was heat sensor related. We tested all the sensors I brought in and none were bad. I told him my story on what it was doing and the owner told me what he thought was wrong. He then went one step further and explained how I could test and maybe fix it myself.I am writing this review to say, the suggestions and advice he gave were spot on. He was absolutely correct in his diagnosis. I made the change he suggested and now my dryer is fixed and is working again.THANK YOU for your knowledge, expertise, kind personality and spot on recommendations!!!I will definitely be back if I ever need any appliance repair, parts or appliance questions!!

    Love this place. They always get me the part I need to fix whatever is broken. Ive seen them patiently explain electrical circuits to guys doing work for the first time, and they will sit and help you find the right part and get it for you. I have a weird dryer model year and its confusing to get the right parts. ABCO helped me until we got the exact right part in. Dont think Id enjoy trying to get Amazon or some other online supplier to help me through that process.

    Sheldon is very professional, Honest andknowledgeable. I highly recommend ABCO!!!They don’t try to rip you off like most companies nowadays. Exceptional customer service and treat you like a human being.Came in with the part, he looked the part number up gave me the part, and even tested it to make sure that it was working, and even carried it out to my vehicle can’t beat that!I will continue to use them in the future for any appliance / HVAC needs.     Called them after trying so many places and told me he can have it in by tomorrow and did not have to pay upfront like the other places and they would still had made me wait 2 to 5 business days and Thanksgiving is this week too Ill update this after I get my part tomorrow.. I got my part literally the next day and Im going to keep coming back for sure very nice and helpful RECOMMENDED if your a D.I.Y. type of person like me

    My dryer quit heating. I called several other repair places, everybody wanted to sell me the heating element, which was $150.00+ in cost. Nobody had the heating element in stock. I called ABCO, I told him I needed the heating element for my dryer. He tells me they rarely go out. So, he then tells me I need a thermal fuse. $32.00!! He checks his stock and has the part. I pick it up, installed it, and dryer is now working!!! They saved me a lot of money and time!!!

    A friend referred me to ABCO and I am so glad. I have NEVER had anyone selling parts be more helpful and patient with me. The final decision was I didnt need a part, after all my calls and doing what he told me. He was more interested in solving my problem than making money on parts. I dont plan to look anywhere else for appliance parts. Theyre the best!!

    I found the owner (Wayne) very knowledgeable and personable. While I was in his shop, he helped people on the phone and four who came in the shop.. He advised on several different issues, Mine was my A/C fan, another was a washer, a water heater, a stove, an oven, and an electrical issue. The maintenance Supervisor at the Masonic told me, while Wayne went and cut the shaft of the A/C motor, That he is the best with a majority of Appliances. I have decided anytime I need an appliance item and info, Wayne and ABCO Appliance is where I am going.

    Have gone here several times over a few decades. Great service and advice. Recently got a part for a washer. Was advised to watch more than 1 video and indeed, a detail was left out of the first video. They have the wisdom you need!

    This shop is the most knowledgeable, honest and helpful business I have ever bought from. They take time to answer questions. They explain everything in detail. I have been fixing my own, and my family’s, appliances and HVAC for years and there is no one in the DFW area more honest or knowledgeable. The owner is literally a genius in his field. If you think I may be exaggerating a bit, give them a call about anything related to HVAC, washers, dryers, or refrigerators and they will know in detail the answer, the history of the product line, the problems encountered most often, and the strength and weaknesses of the product.

    Many years ago my dishwasher started acting up. After I described the problem they gave me a part - dishwasher fixed! Cost was $30.00A few years ago my double ovens went completely blank - no power. Described how I thought it might have happened, got the part and poof - double ovens fixed. Cost was $36.00.Today I walked in and described the problem with my gas dryer. Got coils for under $40.00 and my dryer is working like new!After so many years I rely on them like friends to help diagnose any appliance problem. Im 60 year old female and was able to repair all of these appliances myself, with their help. No service calls and no extra fees..These folks are truly knowledgeable and have never sold me a part that wasnt what I needed.God Bless You ABCO !!

    This family is a huge blessing!! If you need parts or help, the gentleman who owns the shop will help you, no pressure, no contract, just help! Not to mention, the prices are excellent! We have fixed our washing machine 6 times in the last few years, just with this mans services. Amazing!! God Bless this business!!

    Ok first of all the customer service is as advertised in the reviews. I called yesterday to determine if they had parts for my dryer, the parts werent in but were ordered and ready for pick up by 2pm. As I had a previous meeting scheduled in Addisson and bad luck would have it the meeting ran over and I got stuck in traffic on 30 heading to the shop..long story short I called to let them know if there was anyway I could pay over the phone and they leave parts outside for me...the response was sure i can do that and will leave the parts at the pawn shop next door..absolutely a life saver!! thanks and I really appreciate the excellent service..will most definitely shop here for all my appliance parts.

    I love ABCO! Over the past 10 years, they have helped me fix my washer, dryer, dishwasher, and now my fridgerator, sometimes multiple times. The owner will give you suggestions for what could be wrong, he walks you through the process of disassembling the machine to access parts, and gives you a number of troubleshooting techniques. He has probably saved me hundrends, maybe even thousands of dollars in service calls and new appliances with his expert advice and availability. This is the kind of customer service that you cant find anywhere else, nowadays!

    I called today to order a part. The gentleman kindly asked me if I had the back off the dryer. I answered no. He then told me there were two or more things that could be the cause of the dryer not heating and to get a good look at it before I came in giving him money for a dryer heating element. Wow! I am very happy. I got it all cleaned up, and my husband will look at it in the morning...then we will go get the part. And we will get it at ABCO!

    I see him helping people for free. I just went in to buy a part, and he asked me questions and helped me further without me even asking him to! My daughter grabbed a couple little things to buy (toys, stickers) and he just marked down the price for her, just to be nice! They are great people - very rare kind of good people. They deserve to make tons of money!

    The greatest retail customer service I’ve ever seen. The owner and his son are always so nice, helpful and will take as much time as needed to help one fix a problem. If you want to do the job yourself they’ll explain it to you.

    Called ABCO with a problem with my Kitchen Aid microwave oven that we bought in 99 combo unit . I had already had the unit out and put a new fuse it blew out as soon as I turned the microwave on .I called a repair place it was 85$ just to come out! I knew it was probably the capacitor.I wanted to take it to a repair shop but they hardly exist anymore.I talked to a repair manual and he recommended ABCO .I called and he said bring it in and he would test it.I went he pulled the cover off tested the capacitor and it was bad. Put another one on fired it up and it worked perfectly. We had been debating a new combo convection unit for 2-3k but the convection microwave is not as big or well built as our older unit. This repair saved me 200- + on a in home repair or 2 to 3 thousand on a new unit. I ONLY COST ME $32.00.THANK YOU ABCO FOR THE WONDERFUL SERVICE! AND U FIXED IT IN 20 MINUTES!!☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺🙂🙂☺☺☺🙂☺🙂🙂☺

    AHHHMAZING and helpful place!! I am a female and they treated me like they would anyone. They walked me through taking apart my clothes dryer (taking out the drum and everything!) in order to save lots of money and fix it MYSELF! Which I DID!! I COULDNT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT THEM! They give you everything you need and make you feel confident in what you are doing. He is SO very knowledgable and knows what you are talking about before you even finish. I cannot recommend this place enough! And BTW, anything FAUCET related, go to the FAUCET PARTS STORE on Randol Mill Rd. near Hwy. 360. You will get the same service and assistance!
