I have had the opportunity to work for Select Rehab at Watercrest at Katy for the past 3 years. The Watercrest staff and residents are friendly and welcoming and it is a joy to see their smiling faces everyday. You will have a lot to keep you busy from a variety of daily activities, weekly trips, exercise classes, and the heated pool is an added bonus. I would recommend Watercrest at Katy to my friends and family members. When my dad visited the building a while back, he even mentioned that he could see himself living there. It is a great place, and I believe you will love to call it home. -

Our sales agent Doug was very good at explaining everything to us and showing us around. We decided this was a good fit for our parents. The facility is very nice, and the residents were very welcoming! -

One of my friends mother lived there until she had to move for more care. The staff and apartments were amazing. I was also impressed with all of the events on site and external they offer residents. -

Watercrest is a top notch facility with very professional staff. They treat every resident with respect and make their experience enjoyable. Highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a place for your loved one or looking for an assisted living facility yourself. -

Enjoyed the tour and the rooms. Had lunch, quite good. They went the extra measure to help with our allergies and problems. Appreciate that. -

When we arrived at Watercrest, we met with Jonah Frank to talk about an independent living facility for my mom. He gave us a great tour of the buildings and we got to see a few rooms. I found Jonah to be very personable, attentive, and concerned with the details of our particular situation. Plus, he was very knowledgeable about the facility, the lease contracts, and the services offered. Jonah was very customer service oriented and is the reason Watercrest is our top choice! -

I have been living at Watercrest in Katy for about a year. I have made some amazing friendships thanks to Jonah Frank. Jonah not only sold me on Watercrest with his amazing knowledge of why he thought Watercrest would be a great place for me to call home, he also made me feel welcome. Jonah took time to answer any questions that I had regarding the amenities as well as the security Watercrest offered. While we toured the grounds I noticed how the tenants were so happy and greeted jonah as he were their family. Jonah went above and beyond to help getting me moved in and settled. He also introduced me to the current tenants that I now call some of my dearest friends. Thanks Jonah. When Jonah left Watercrest in Katy he was truly missed. -

My review is based on our experiences with our sales counselor, Jonah Frank, at Watercrest Katy... I visited Watercrest Katy with my senior adult parents. From our first visit, Jonah made my parents feel at ease with his positivity and personal touch. His knowledge of the property, amenities and residents is impressive. Jonah also impressed me with his follow up- emailing to touch base (never pushy, just friendly) and genuinely caring for our family. Admittedly, we generally have more questions then the usual prospects, but Jonah never made us feel like we were burdening him. His responses were always prompt and helpful. Ultimately, Jonah is the reason my parents feel confident in moving into Watercrest; they trust him. I am so grateful for his personalized assistance during this process! -

My sister and I visited Watercrest at Katy to see if it might be an option for our parents for independent living. We were very skeptical about them being able to feel comfortable moving to a facility like this but after visiting with Jonah for several hours, touring the facility, meeting some of the residents and checking out some of the apartments, we were practically ready to move in ourselves. All of the residents seemed so happy and the amenities and number of activities they plan for these folks is amazing. The staff was incredible too and the residents treated them like family. We cant wait to take our parents there for their tour. -

Last year, we decided it would be best for my dad to move closer to us, from Dallas to Katy. This wasnt an easy decision and my dad dragged his feet as long as he could. We toured 4 different facilities in the Katy area and none began to compare to this one. In working with Jonah, he knew the residents and facilities inside and out - who was doing what, what fun things were happening and where, etc. What stood out was every time we passed a resident they would stop and talk to update Jonah on something personal in their life. I could tell he was valued as part of the community there - this made all the difference. We didnt see this level of engagement, interaction, or just positive vibes from any other facility. It really worked out in our favor. My dad has lived there for 4 months now and went from almost angry that he was moving to telling us hes doing more living than hes done in years.Jonah did an amazing job (1) getting to know my dad as a person long before we moved in, (2) highlighting facility amenities that would appeal to my dad, (3) sending so many extra touches in the mail before and after moving in to help the whole family feel welcome, including my daughter, (4) introducing my dad to the Welcome Committee to show him the ropes while he got settled, (5) being just a text away for anything we needed, no matter how small. Hes been such a pleasure to work with and a truly integral part of a successful move for my dad. -

Watercrest at Katy is in an attractive location: a short walk to Katy Mills Mall, several blocks south of I-10, and a short drive to 99 Tollway. The grounds are attractive, and the main building is pleasant and airy with colorful, quality appointments throughout. In addition, there are six groups of villas, or cottages. We visited on a weekday and met Jonah Frank, who was pleasant, personable, and very knowledgeable. He provided a thorough explanation of the philosophy and practical running of Watercrest. He took all the time necessary to learn what we were hoping for and focused on. Throughout the tour, during our visit, Jonah was greeted by the warm wishes of the current tenants, who were friendly and happy. The facilities that we were shown met every expectation that we had, especially the indoor heated swimming pool. We were also pleased to learn that we would only be charged for the meals that we did eat there and not a monthly flat fee for all meals. We did not make a decision immediately, and we were provided with information covering every aspect of the community. We decided to return to Watercrest and signed a lease for one of the two-bedroom villas. We are looking forward to moving in and becoming part of this community. -

I moved my parents into Watercrest Katy two years ago and have had the best experience!! My parents have loved living there!! The people who work there always go the extra mile! They genuinely care about each resident. There is a southern welcome always felt no matter what day or time you visit. The facility is clean, safe and the food and activities are amazing! I would highly recommend this retirement center. My parents and I are so thankful for everyone at Watercrest Katy. It has been a true blessing to find such a wonderful place for them. -

My mother lived at Watercrest for over 4 years and loved it here. The staff was outstanding and very kind to her. Safety being a top priority, it exceeded our expectations. The food was really good and she was able to share with us from time to time. They have many activities which will accommodate most anyone based on their stage in life. My wife and I will certainly consider this place when the time arrives. We looked at several independent living facilities in Katy and are very happy we chose this one. She met a lot of friends and loved it so much, she brought in several friends too. We wouldnt change a thing! -

We had an excellent visit with Deborah which was very informative. She answered all our questions and then some, covering the wonderful amenities. Watercrest is a lovely place. The cost is very reasonable for all you offer. To be quite honest, I would be there in a skinny minute if I could;however, I cant make it work with my budget. -

I stopped in to visit and tour for a friend for her mom...yet it turned to be a truly Divine appointment. Mrs. Faye and Gina are the absolute description of Entertaining the Presence of Angels. The customer service from the time my daughter and I entered until we left was totally Amazing! The staff was super friendly , kind and very caring. As we proceeded on our tour the kitchen staff was working but, yet stopped to speak and were very warm & inviting the food smelled great too! The residents were like longtime neighbors welcoming you back from a long trip Yea!!! What a place what a community!! Thanks to all of you @ watercress that made it possible for me to see what real living is like , maybe when I grow up in about 4 more years I can come stay....For a while!!Heaven on this side HOW Awesome ~Sincerely, Shanoe 🌹 -

Bill and I are very happy living in Watercrest. We moved here in October 2021. We moved from a 55+ community and find the atmosphere very much the same. We loved it there but found it to much to handle when we began to have severe health problems. The staff here is great. They are friendly and always ready to help, the residents are welcoming and always ready to meet new neighbors. The location couldn’t be better with it being near drs, hospitals, shopping and restaurants. The trolly takes you to dr appointments and shopping. It also takes you on near by outings and restaurants. We plan to be here a long time -

Having lived here with my dear wife since Oct. 2020, and since were about to climb out of a long and historic icy blast, I thought that its time for another review on Watercrest at Katy to add another dimension of our experiences at this community.Since the start of the freeze on Sunday night (Feb. 14, 2021), weve not lost power or water here for even a second. All senior residents have been kept toasty warm - what an unspeakable blessing in light of so many power outages and frozen water pipes all around us in Katy and greater Houston area!Understandably, the staff of Watercrest did not make it to work on Monday due to icy slippery roads. But our director Doug with a skeleton crew of two maintenance men showed up bright and early to spread salt crystals on walkways so that folks with dogs could venture out and do their business. Meals were suspended for one day. The next day a few more brave staffs came to serve meals. Again, the director himself donned apron and served meals in the Dinning Hall.Today (Thursday), we have full staff, and activities are slowly returning to normal. We cannot say enough about Watercrest at Katy. What an amazing place with amazing staff! God bless them all. -
