We signed our lease August 2024. I was a bit taken by the idea of our apartment being 2 floors. I had never seen a townhome in this area built like this. Pretty fascinated with the area because the schools are close and shopping centers as well. I met the property manager, Monica and just felt like she was family. She didn’t throw any sales pitches or try to rush us into signing. She told me straight up that her and & team had taken over some months ago and were making several changes. She has made many word of mouth promises and has definitely kept them. From the updated appliances, to keeping an open line of communication. The staff is friendly and very personable. It’s now been 3 months and the dedication is still the same… The office staff even comes in early most days to make sure the kiddos get on their buses in the morning at the front of the property. I’m proud to call this our home!

Just recently moved when Verena took over. We came and did a tour with Monica. Monica is amazing. The staff is amazing. The 2 maintenance guys are great at what they do. Super respectful and great communication. We had the chance to see the change from when we moved in to now. From the day we came to do our tour. Monica told us everything she was planning to fix and change. Slowly but surely, we saw the change. They really cleaned up. Our fence after the storm was up before other apartments did anything. The trash was cleaned up. Disrespectful tenants are gone. Monica is working to get the apartments better. When we moved in, they ask you was everything good? Be honest. We expressed how we felt and reported the problems. Turns out the company whorish hired to make ready the apartments for us to move werent doing their job. Monica has since reported that and hoping to get new people for that. Also, the valet trash, they are failing to their job. Monica is always calling to complain and has warned them or straight up or she will replace them. Whether you see it nor not. Monica is always working to better Verena. Rome wasnt built overnight. Everything she said she was going to do has been done, and her list continues to grow. And I dont doubt that it will be done as well. It really has become a quiet and cleaner apartment complex. Shes straightening out The Verena. And we love it. If you ask for help and communicate your concerns. Monica and her staff are amazing. We are grateful for Monica. I cant express that enough. Thank you Monica and your staff/ maintenance for all you do and continue to do.

I am pleased with my unit. The staff are all friendly and respond quickly to any issues that may arise (though there aren’t many personally). They also do their best in making the residents feel comfortable and safe all while maintaining a clean property.

“I recently moved into Verena at cypress wood and have had an excellent experience so far. The apartment itself is spacious, and well-maintained, just what I was looking for. A big thank you Monica Barajas and the rest of the team Juan and also Travis for being incredibly helpful and responsive. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, she has been quick to address it, which makes a huge difference. The location is also great, with easy access to shopping centers, and some great local restaurants. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my choice to live here and would highly recommend it, especially thanks to the wonderful property manager Monica Barajas.”

Been living here for over 2 years and this is by far the best management there has been Monica and Nerivel are awesome we definitely need more people like them, definitely feels like home here they are a blessing sent, I love it here and definitely will be renewing….. great jobs guys

Very quiet community. Only complaint is that the pool isnt open and they dont have a playground. Still a 5star complex! Everyone should want to live here in this area!

Last year I wouldve said not to waste your time here, but as new management and crew came in at the start of the year, the place has been getting some SERIOUS love and care it desperately needed. Monica has been an absolute gem and the maintainence workers and staff have been incredible. There is not a single day you dont see something being fixed and dealt with. We had been living in a god awful unit when we first moved in a few years ago. Once new management took notice and saw the condition of the unit, we were promptly moved out of that unit and into a unit renovated to their standards and we couldnt be happier. They are very aware of the issues around the property and are working extremely hard to fix them. And Ive no doubt they will. Overall the whole place has done a 180. Cant wait to see whats to come. Needless to say, if youre looking to rent in the area I can now definitely recommend this place.

I really appreciate staff who are so nice and helpful i met Travis when he was helping me with an issue in my apartment. he was very respectful and sweet. i’m usually not comfortable with new people in my home but he made sure i was comfortable. i hope y’all keep up the good work!!

WOW…. This community has changed a lot since the new management has taken over. The office staff and maintenance is amazing. I watch them everyday pick up trash and turned this community around each day. I am no longer embarrassed to have company over to my home. I recommend this place 100%.

After, a long day and unpleasant office staff apartment after apartment. I came here and met with a sweet young lady Amanda, she was very knowledgeable about the community and surrounding areas. She made this apartment hunt super easy, she listened to my wants and needs- pricing was great and she was super funny, she made my long day worth it! Everything is going fine. The maintenance team is great. One thing I have a problem with is the disregard my neighbors have with the lack of respect for the property, throwing trash on the ground, outside gathering and leaving trash such as beer bottles on the ground, children digging up the dirt and leaving it on the sidewalks and stairwells. I just wish they would respect the property and their neighbors more.

I have never met a manager that is hands on with the clients. Ms. Lasso made me feel much more at ease when I went to Inquire about a two bedroom. Being a single parent and trying to find a place to raise my kids has been hard. I will definitely be applying here. She really cares about the clients and made me feel like I was already home!

My husband and I have been apartment hunting for a couple of days now & she is hands down the sweetest! Gave us all the information & was very hands on. The new Manager Daniel is really hard working and friendly. Hes renovating and improving the rooms and fixing everything up! The fence got repainted and everything too! Ive been a resident here since 3 years ago, before it was ok but the new manager is making it even better so a thumb up from me for being a good landlord and very respectful in my opinion 👍

Zamira has to be one of the best employees Ive ever seen, in any place that you could go to.She was very cooperative while assisting me in finding the apartment right for us, even though it took many trial and errors. We looked through many apartments which some were liked and others were disliked, then decided on the perfect one. Apartments staff as well were great, but not as the Zamira! The place was very well organized and maintained and would recommend it to other people coming in.

Wonderful place to live for years now, particularly compared to the craziness at previous locations. Convenient parks and walking trails. Library and a spectrum of restaurants in walking distance. Friendly people. Convenient access to 1960 area businesses. Wimbledon area is beautiful. Very little to not like.

I have lived here for 5 years and I was very frustrated with the staff that managed these apartments because they did not clean and there was a lot of lack of control in everything. Today the new company started just this week and we see changes, everything is cleaner and the office staff are very friendly. I am ready to renew my contract.
