    Both office staff and maintenance were phenomenal. My family and I lived there for 2 years and only moved out due to a medical emergency. Loved our two bedroom! The neighbors were also all so nice and friendly! We would frequent the pool and have impromptu pool parties with our neighbors. It was like one big family at Urban Crest. Overall a wonderful experience. The only thing I can say could use improvement was the gates constantly being down, but that is really on the residents for hitting them. 100% would recommend.

    I have been living here since August 2022 and have loved my entire experience! I have lived places where management does not care and doesn’t provide solutions but here maintenance is QUICK, management is attentive and they fix what they can control! I see many reviews about car break ins but I’ve never experienced that, thankfully!!! When I did have an issue they were prompt. Thank you Christina and your team for making this such a lovely place to live

    Christina, and all the crew here are awesome. They’re all very welcoming and make you feel comfortable. The place is nice too.     My spouse and I love this apartment complex!We have been here for about two years now, which by the way is rare because every prior apartment complex here in SATX usually has had issues that were detrimental to inadequate living. So I just wanted to say thank you UC and thank you to the maintenance crew!That said, there does seem to be more residents having power breeds (mainly pit bulls and bullys) here not being able to control their dogs. After seeing many close calls with attacks of other smaller resident dogs, this has been kind of concerning as of late. Thankfully we are not directly affected by this but still is concerning.Rebecca has been literally the most competent and sweetest manager that weve ever come across in this city while renting. So thank you!Kelsey K.Adam K.

    There is absolutely nothing bad that can be said about this place. I have lived in different apartment communities over the years but nothing that can compare to here. I dont feel like I live in an apartment, I feel like I live at home. The office staff is very helpful and they are so sweet. I know that they really care!!! You cant go wrong with this place!!! Welcome Home!!!!

    I have lived here for 4 months and first and foremost I love the management team aka Christina and Rebecca. Since my very first day and even before I moved in. They address issues right away and followup immediately with phone calls and resolutions. Customer service is very important to me and they have really made my stay feel like home so far. I love the amenities and all the extras that they provide that are included is perks. Thank you urban crest.

    This place is good. Tenants smoking cigarettes and weed perpetually causing other tenants units to wreak of the smell is probably my biggest caveat here. Building 1 pretty much has this cigar factory with rave nights thing going on and is kind of dumbfounding since the leasing office is literally in the proximity and this being a facility where any smoking is prohibited.Other caveat here is the lack of propane in the cookout pavilions and when you want to grill something (which to be honest is usually in the colder months) it is impossible to do ...on both sides of the UC grounds.Maybe the final issue is the problem with people not picking up after themselves and / or after their dogs....but really, overall ok. I hope this new HEPA filter in my unit works to dissipate the smoke scent from my unit as it will be pretty bad come summer and all you can feel is the heat and all you can smell is the cancer stixs.

    Sonya did a fantastic job assisting my mom and I with the move in process. She was extremely efficient, with a very pleasant attitude & countenance! Our initial experience touring the apartment complex was the most enjoyable compared to others, and we were sold immediately. Would recommend.

    Recently my son moved to San Antonio for his employment and needed an apartment. Urban Crest staff was wonderful! They are very quick to answer phone calls and emails. In the past, my daughter has lived in apartments where customer service, fast response times and answered maintenance requests were extremely lacking, and I feel very uplifted knowing the situation here is vastly different. I would highly recommend this apartment complex and feel that we have been taken care of so well even though we are not originally from the area. Very impressed!

    Our experience at the Urban Crest Apartments has been wonderful! The units have a nice flow, updated furnishings, and are quite spacious. Personally, I love the amenities, two pools, a nice cafe and conference room available for use, and an awesome BBQ area that is great for entertaining.The BEST part has been the staff. The front office and manager are always very kind and will listen if there are any problems. And the maintenance crew is very responsive, we almost always have our work orders completed the next day after submission. Also, we had an incident where our air conditioning stopped working over the weekend during the summer and Jessie was there to help out and get it back up and working. He even checked back in with us to make sure it was working okay. We are from Washington State, so the air conditioning is vital, especially during the Summer. I really believe this type of going above and beyond like what Jessie did is what truly makes this apartment unique.Oh yeah, we also love that they have regular events that brings everyone together. Ive never experienced anything quite like this at any other apartment I have lived in.

    My neighbors and the employees of Urban Crest have become a second family to me. I have lived here for 16 months, so when Morningside Property Management took over at this complex, they completely changed this place and stepped it up through various renovations and a complete management team overhaul so that we were receiving exactly what we pay for!Whenever I contact the office, they do not hesitate to fix the issues that share with them. The Property Manager, Sammie, is so extremely passionate about her job. She would do anything to make sure we are comfortable and safe. She even took into her home a litter of kittens and their mother that someone had dumped on the property to make sure they were safe and well cared for! She is one of a kind and a true treasure. Her leadership and ability to maintain this property is the majority of the reason why I am writing this review today! The other ladies that work in the office, Skye and Rebecca, are extremely kind. Under the leadership of Sammie, they have created a flawless team. They do not cause drama or make life harder on anyone. They really care about the residents here and do everything to make the experience at Urban Crest the best it can possibly be.The maintenance team is always on top of their game. Going above and beyond their job descriptions to complete tasks that they do not even have to do. Whenever I see them on the property, they are always working hard and never hesitate to acknowledge residents and say hello! Work orders are completed in very fast time, usually less than a day! Rudy, the maintenance supervisor, has a passion for animals. He has made sure that the dog park is always the best that it can be so the furry-residents can enjoy their time here together! He is a really good leader, and you can tell his team really respects him. Rick is always friendly when he makes repairs within my home. He is very respectful and a hard worker. He is always going above and beyond to make sure that my living space is operating the best that it can be. Brandon has done an excellent job at keeping up with the pools and the property grounds, which seemed to have been broken and neglected for quite a while (due to the prior owners). Once they completed repairs, he has been able to keep them ready for use at all times.Overall, I would highly recommend anyone to live here. The team that is managing this property truly cares about their residents and want to make this the best experience for everyone. If you live here, you will have awesome neighbors that you could spend hours talking to (especially if you bring your dog to the newly renovated dog park)! They have food trucks for the residents weekly, support the community through various fundraisers and donations, and create a peaceful environment for you to get away from the stress of your work. A bonus on top of it all that I didnt realize before I moved in is that they have garbage pick up right at your door every night! You never have to walk your trash to the dumpster again! The newly installed amazon drop box has made it even more safe for you to order high value items. The community living spaces are clean and open 24/7 (with key access) so you can host guests outside of your home, yet still inside of a beautiful area!I really hope that you choose Urban Crest to be your new home!You will not be disappointed!

    Charles Carlisle -Yes, there are roaches in San Antonio, but theyre from outside and management has responded immediately upon the only one complaint by my daughter. The place is clean.The apartment was really neat and well laid out. Apparently we were in that was re-fitted, as they were all being upgraded with finishes as they turned them over. Also, the rest of the property was clean, well kept and felt safe. Staff were very friendly and generally very available. Length of stay - 1 year.Review edited on 9/15 with follow-up, or lack thereof.So, be prepared: when we left, we left the apartment in much, much better/cleaner condition than when we moved in. This was all documented, as required. Even on move-out the manager and maintenance personnel that walked it were very impressed at how little to no work would be needed for turn over and committed in writing (from management) that there would be no more charges. The management company, however charged us approx. $100 for carpet repairs, and when I discussed it with them they indicated it was a mistake and they would refund that money. So I changed my review to be positive, as indicated above (the place IS nice). However, once the review was changed - crickets for another month, no refund, etc. Heres the game (read your contract) - no matter what the walk-through, if their vendor they bring in decides work needs to be done, you have to pay for it. Doesnt matter the condition prior to or after you move out. I wouldnt have minded as much had this been made aware to me up-front that renters would be paying for the apartments make-ready, prior to signing the lease.Also, of note - during the renovation/painting of the exterior, they turned off the fire sprinkler system for a period of a couple of weeks and failed to post a fire watch or notify tenants. I presume they did that because they were painting around the sprinkler heads (which were covered to not get paint on them). Still the apartments are sprinklered, its just they have a duty to protect and notify if the system is there.The place is nice, but my experience with frequent management turnover wasnt the best. The on-site management was actually pretty good/professional - its the corporate policies and actions that you need to be aware of. Going in eyes wide open.

    I enjoyed my one year stay at the apartment. It was extremely convenient to Ft. Sam and there is shopping and places to eat close by. The previous management with Carrie was great! Nadine is a carry over from the previous management as well and she has always been Awesome. The new management with Debra and Maya are awesome as well. They have been available for any questions I had. Yes, living in an apartment is challenging especially being near the pool with noise and slamming doors, but its expected. There is an issue with people Not picking up after there pets. The maintenance guys are always helpful and they do spray for roaches. I didnt have a big issue with them and would only see them occasionally but maintenance would spray any time I asked. I really enjoyed the Star bucks machine! Trying to get on the grill on the weekends is difficult at times, but overall I moved there because of the location. They also had an off duty SAPD officer Andre who is a resident and would patrol the area and be available. I moved out a few months ago May 2019, but truly enjoyed my stay... Thanks Debra and crew.

    I truly had a great experience at Urban Crest. The maintenance staff is very prompt, friendly, and responsive and I would recommend this complex for them alone. I did not interact with the front office staff as often but they were always friendly. The amenities, including the fitness gym, lobby, pools, and grilling areas are also nice to have. My unit was well insulated and I never had any noise complaints. This complex is also within driving distance to Ft Sam Houston and 15 minutes away from downtown, the Pearl, etc. The complex is also located within a nice neighborhood with Salado Creek Greenway nearby. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

    Edit - January 2023: Problem rectified with dual trash bins. Still a bummer recycling is gone but whatever.Though, its a shame that residents here dont know that trash goes inside the bin. Its like people here never took out their own garbage before and need point by point instructions on how to put trash into a bin.November 2023: Recycling is now gone.Note: I live here. I have to keep a hidden online presence due to my employment.

    Urban Crest is one of the best complexes that I have experienced. A lot of the other reviews talk about neighbors, noise, etc. all of which are inevitable (or have a possibility of occurring) pretty much where ever you choose to live. The staff here, notably Skye and Rebecca who I have met with frequently, are extremely reliable and kind. They make sure all of your needs are met and go above and beyond behind the scenes to take care of the people who live here. Maintenance does an awesome job at responding in a timely manner and fixing whatever issue there is. Everyone here is truly great and I love the atmosphere. It is also in a great part of town which makes me feel a lot better. Highly suggest!

    Urban Crest is great! Ive been staying here for about a year and I can say this is home! The staff has been welcoming and really works with the tenants to accommodate our needs as presenting well their standards management needs to abide by. The rooms are clean and well-kept and having a washer and dryer is a big plus! But I would say the biggest plus about UC is the cleanliness of facilities and the friendliness of the staff, especially Jesse Cantu. Whenever I ha e a rough day or need a maintenance issue Jesse is always there to bring a smile to the tenants faces and works hard to keep the apt going. Couldnt say how great the place is without Jesse Cantu there.

    I fell in love with this place instantly online. There was a small mishap when I first moved in but the Management team were very patient they solved the issue accordingly and professionally. The staff are always helpful and sweet. Maintenance is always prompt with 24 hour or even same day responses. I highly recommend renting here. The amenities are perfect for relaxing after work! I personally utilize them almost daily. No roaches, no loud noises, and friendly neighbors. Keep up the great work UAG staff!

    I recently PCSd to Ft. Sam and I am so glad I chose Urban Crest Apartments. The maintenance staff keeps the common areas clean and well-maintained, the ladies in the front desk are extremely helpful and attentive, and there are always events for the community going on. My apartment is quiet, spacious, and came with up-to-date appliances (washer/dryer in the room is super convenient). This place is perfect, especially for any other IPAP students/military looking for quality housing located less than 10 mins from the front gate.

    I only lived here a few months because I got PCS orders but really enjoyed living here. The property is well maintained, quiet, and a great value. Close to Ft. Sam, Alamo Heights shopping and dining. Staff was very friendly and reliable, they made living here so easy. I really enjoyed the Starbucks coffee machine in the 24 hour lounge and outdoor covered grill areas.

    I have been a resident here now for 4 months and this apartment complex has been very welcoming to me.. from the moment i showed up the awesome receptionist Jenine Delgado was very helpful.. i am active duty military and she ensured that there was an apartment for me upon graduating tech school.. she has extended herself to not just treat me as a customer but a VALUABLE customer... i highly recommend you ask for her when you come in..Also this complex is very catering to your needs. I recently had issues with my A/c being that the heat in San Antonio is unmatched. I put my request in online overnight. By 11:00 the next morning my A/C unit was replaced/ fixed.. very reliableThey are really good at communicating with us (residents) as far as letting us know who will be on the property and what the company is doing.Love this place .... home away from home

    This is my absolute favorite apartment that I’ve ever lived in. The maintenance is on top of their game, the women who work in the office are wonderful. Everyone is so nice and helpful!! The complex is so pretty, the pools and amenities are amazing! I don’t want to leave San Antonio! I’m so grateful to have found this place to call home for the past 16 months!! I definitely recommend it to everyone!!****** I know this is long but the below info is super important! *********I also would like to note that the reasons why people leave bad reviews on here about Urban Crest Apartments are not things that are the apartment complex’s management team can control.1. Cockroaches outside... really?? Of course they’re outside. If they’re in your apartment you probably don’t clean up after yourself well and you probably aren’t calling to ask them to come to spray for bugs. When you move in they tell you that the pest control folks come every Thursday AND you can even call on Thursday morning and they will still get to you that day. Hell I even caught the pest control man in the parking lot and he came to spray with no problems at all from him or from the office.2. Yes dog poop that hasn’t been picked up is disgusting but it is the tenants that are doing this, not the management. In fact, they encourage us to pick it up or we will get a 250$ fine.3. Cars being broken into. This can literally happen ANYWHERE. You could live in your very own house with your very own car locked in your very own garage and if that person wants to get break in there, they are going to do it!!!! Although it is super unfortunate, It happens in every single apartment complex anywhere in the US but definitely in San Antonio. Once again, the management staff aren’t offering the tenants vehicles out on the black market to be broken into. Also this is why we are adults have have a handy thing called insurance that we are required to have (by law, I know this is hard for some people to understand).4. Loud neighbors - beside, above or below you.You literally chose to move into a 4 story (FOUR STORY) apartment building. And unfortunately there are many inconsiderate people in this world. That is not the managements fault. They do what they can but they simply cannot hang out in everyone’s apartment all day and night telling people that they’re too loud. I’m sure that once there are enough complaints they will kick that person out for not complying with the terms of their lease by being a decent tenant.I could go on and on, but you get the point.This apartment complex has been extremely good to me and those around me. I witnessed this first hand for a year and a half. 16 months of consistent outstanding apartment living.

    I love this place. Built early 2015, resident since that November. Resort like feel, very nice apartments (washer/dryer, granite counters, balcony) 2 pools with covered grills, nice fitness and common area, very friendly/helpful staff. It is a bit pricey.Great update: flight pattern for SAT no longer comes overhead, much more quite.

    Weve lived here about a year and love it. The ladies in the office are so sweet and anytime I have a question they are happy to help. The maintenance workers are very kind and I see them working hard every day. The apartments themselves are very nice: granite countertops, hardwood floors, a small balcony, and a washer and dryer in each unit. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is because the grills can be very finicky. Also because lately there has been a HUGE amount of residents who for whatever reason REFUSE to pick up after their dogs. Its super frustrating.

    Weve been here just over a year. The place is the best kept secret in San Antonio. It looks like a Miami hotel with two amazing pools. Its got a pretty well stocked gym, not the typical treadmill and dumbbell setup. The place is so quiet, I sometimes feel like in the only one here. The staff is amazing. But of course the apartments are the star. Do yourself a favor before you rent and take a look. Tell them I sent you!

    I have been stationed in Ft. Sam Houston for over two years now. I have lived in three different apartment complex (including this one). The first one was the worst decision I have made since I came to San Antonio, Tx. (Villages of Briggs Ranch “luxury apartments” [with an ant infestation]). Second place was ok but people would be walking around the complex to see what they steel due to gate not closed (somebody stole my mongoose bicycle). I am blessed to come to Urban Crest! The maintenance personnel are quick, respectful, and very efficient. The staff are understanding, military friendly, very helpful, and they keep you informed of anything and everything going on in the complex. Thank you Sammy, Sky, and Rebecca, for making my son and I feel at peace and comfortable to call this place our home.

    (This review should be more like a 4.5, but I rounded up.) Ive been here about 3 months. So far its been a good experience!Pros:- Friendly front office staff- Can pay rent online (no adtl fee if using bank)- Lots of outdoor areas for residents- Grounds kept very clean (have regularly seen people blowing and sanitizing the breezeways)- I have never heard any sounds from any of my neighbors (tho I live on the 4th floor)- Elevator is very very convenient- Seem to respond pretty quickly to maintenance--when someone crashed into the gate one morning, it was fixed by that afternoon- Feel safe in the complex, tenants are mostly military, professionals, even some police- Very convenient location--Ft. Sam is a straight shot down Harry Wurzbach, Walmart, Lowes, and HEB about 2min away, lots of good places to eat within a 10min drive- Surrounding neighborhood is nice! The front of the complex faces a pretty busy road so not much to say about that, but behind and to the sides is a very nice, quiet neighborhood- Have never had a problem with parking at any point during the day or night. Always able to park within view of my living room window- Trash valet is an awesome service. Having someone take your trash out for you is a luxury I didnt realize I wanted!- Never see any kids running around and/or getting into things (tho again, this may be a 4th floor thing, and Im sure the pools will understandably be busy when it gets warmer). I certainly dont hate kids, but I dont have any, and Ive been in many apartments previously where kids just run amok, leave their stuff everywhere, and screamSome minor cons:- The apartments are under a flight path from the airport and the planes can be LOUD. In the first couple weeks they would regularly wake me up at night. You get accustomed to them quickly tho and I barely notice them now- Like someone mentioned before, you have to be diligent about packages yourself. In theory they have safeboxes with keys in the mail room where packages can be stored and picked up by residents, but in practice Ive always had to just get the package from the office myself- Not much in the way of recycling options (trash valet only takes cardboard), but this may be a Texas/San Antonio thing rather than an Urban Crest thing, not sureAll in all Im very happy I moved here. :) If that ever changes, Ill come back and update this review.

    Urban Crest was an amazing place to live. The manager is literally the best thing, she is so helpful and they are all so military friendly. The staff is super helpful, Mark fixed any maintenance problems I had very quickly! I highly recommend these apartments!

    I have stayed here at Urban Crest for a while and since I have stayed here it has been a great experience. The staff is always available and ready to assist in any way possible. The website is very user friendly for all residents and anytime I have a maintenance issue, it’s resolved instantly. I can definitely say that I am satisfied and extremely happy!

    Management was overly kind and helpful from the moment I spoke to them on the phone until the time I walked into their office. Management was also considerate and welcoming towards me and my needs. The property is gorgeous and sleek if you like a modern look. I love that, there is valet for the trash, because I hate taking out the trash. Also, the community is very friendly and nice.

    URBAN CREST is GREAT! The STAFF is professional and wonderful! They help you SO much! The building’s design and maintenance is VERY WELL DONE! The amenities and services are 5 STAR👍The location is is PERFECT for all our needs. We hear birds singing every morning, walk on the Salada Trail, get to the SHJBase in 10 minutes, get to Highway or airport in 15 minutes, and use local stores and services quickly!We recommend URBAN CREST to anyone who wants a QUALITY STANDARD OF LIVING!

    I gotta keep it real: you can’t beat the location and the quality of the property and customer service for the price. This property has been the exemplification of exceptionalism in every way that a rental property can be. The problems encountered here are the same that you’d encountered at ANY metro rental property— and even then, the impact to lifestyle is minimal at worst. Keep up the great work Urban Crest!

    PCSing, this is the place. This was by far the best apartment. This is the only one that had an elevator. New construction. Upscale. Everything worked as it was supposed to. They do offer on site storage. Two swimming pools that were always maintained. Gates worked. Parking was nice. Under the flight path, but you get used to it, and then you wont notice it. Starbucks on deck. Vallet trash, I didnt want at first but this is the only way to go.

    This is a beautiful place. I just started using the online payment system because I am legally blind and it kept me from walking to Walmart or HEB for a money order. Now to use the online system today I had to pay $36.95 today and they will no longer take money orders. Ive been here since 2015 with no issues. To me that make no since at all. The owners should not allow this to happen. This has been a wonderful place to live and I have recommended this place to others. I just dont understand why this is the new way to do business. :(

    Very friendly and attentive girl at the office. Will definitely recommend, place was clean and nice area.recommending to my friend moving from Houston. Wish I had seen these apartments before I rented somewhere else.

    Sent a text message to the main number at Urban Crest and got a call from Janie with in 5-10 minutes. She was helpful and answered all my questions. I feel very comfortable with our decision to lease from Urban Crest.

    Our air conditioner went out on Sunday and Brandon promptly came and fixed It!!! Thank you Brandon for being so diligent and pleasant. The Urbancrest maintenance team are the best!

    Place appears clean, safe, nice convenient location to all points. Helped my stepdaughter get situated into her studio apartment. Plenty of room, was pleasantly surprised, definitely a keeper!

    My friend has lived here for awhile and as soon as the old maintenance left and the new supervisor took over we saw a lot of good changes and they would get to her work orders that day or the next instead of weeks.

    The security cameras make me feel safe, trash pickup at our front doors and my neighbors are friendly and quiet. I love my view makes me feel like Im at a resort!
