    I lived in these apartments for about 11 years, when the current company purchased these apartments for the last year I felt like they couldnt be bothered to listen to any of my concerns and had been given the runaround several times. Every time I stepped into the office I felt like I offended the guy at the front desk because the way he responded to me was like I did something to insult him every time. I put in a work order for my front door which would not lock , and he told me it wasnt his problem. I had to put in a work order to get it fixed and then nice maintenance man fixed it.That being said I believe a new manager has stepped in and she has been so nice to us, and gave me a deal because I had to break my lease and was very kind to me. I see a lot of good changes happening to this property new maintenance men, work orders being processed faster pest control coming in now, just to name a few things. Also I noticed a few discounts off of lease renewal where it seems like they are trying to reward people for renewing their lease so thats nice, and I look forward to visiting it when I come back to Fort Worth to see all the wonderful changes that I hope have been made!

    Great management personnel doing their best for the comfort of the residents. From Joan, the manager and Melissa assistant manager, who are always willing to listen and act on a problem. Miriam the leasing agent always open for conversation. And Juan, the careful, patient, polite lead maintenance man. I am pleased and honored to live in this community. Great job folks.An added amendment to my past review. Since my last review, the addition of new personnel, Ray and a new team member, who I can’t remember her name, has elevated my confidence in this community. Ray is very approachable and always attentive and eager to address any questions with confidence. I am very happy with him this management team.

    If you ask me for an opinion, I will be honest. It has been difficult to find people in charge who are really concerned about our needs and we have found it in Talisa. We are very grateful to her because she has helped us and has been very kind. We are always delighted with her good attitude.

    The ladies here are both professional and caring. They were efficient in helping me with my move and were very helpful when my sister had to come and do some of the things because I was at work. Tiana (I hope I am spelling her name correctly), jumped right in and got things all squared away when I needed to push back the move in date because I was going out of town. And Ray, the manager, although I havent met him personally yet, he made quite a professional and kind impression on my sister. I recommend these them if you are looking for a fresh start or a just getting out on your own! The renovations are crisp, clean and appealing. Thanks guys

    Have been a resident here going on 6 years. 2 months ago I decided to move. The apartment fell through at the last minute. Dakota ridge came to my rescue. They worked hard to get me an apartment ready within a couple of days. All new appliances to my surprise. I have never had an issue with maintenance for more than 24 hours. Great bunch of people. The NEW manager even got me my 2 bedroom apartment cheaper than my previous rental fiasco. Great job.

    I relocated from almost four hours away and subsequently had to do everything over the phone and through email contact. My experience with this transition has been amazing. The staff here has gone above and beyond to accommodate me. They have been extremely helpful and very professional. I was worried about moving from so far and not seeing the apartment first but I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the apartment and the size of it as well. Overall no complaints at all from me.

    These apartments are not that bad for the price. The staff is friendly and informative. Rosa was helpful and a great guide. Just had issues with paying rent online. It is difficult if 2 or more are paying the rent. Also the parking at night is irritating as well. Aside from that not a bad place to live.

    The staff at Dakota Ridge are very friendly, and informative. The monthly prices are great, with excellent features like a gated fence, and sheriff at the apartments so security is great. I will give a shout-out to Yakita, who always answers through phone or e-mail. I was able to move-in within a week without any hassles. Other people may have had bad experiences with this place, but mine was excellent. I would definitely refer this place to my family, but I chose this place to stay away from my family, so I will definitely refer this place to friends.

    The process has been fairly easy for me to be approved for my apartment. In one week I was able to apply, be approved, and sign my lease. Jamiee in the front office has been very kind through the entire process and I’m super excited to receive my keys :) Thank y’all!

    I just signed a new lease, and have been here for 10 years. The place is much better now compared to how it was when I first moved in. Over the years they have actually put money into fixing things and making things better. It is not perfect, but there has been steady effort to make things nicer. They have attempted to remedy the parking situation with more visitor spots on the outer perimeter, but that is a long way to walk if u live on the other side of the complex. And I must say many of these bad reviews seem to be sour grapes, since I have had very good relations with the management and staff over the years. Some people seem to have problems with any one or the other of the management so I have heard past residents who have left have not had such good relations, but there were reasons mostly related to the tenant not the staff.The maintenance is actually good, and I just had to have a water heater replaced. It took them two weeks but it was partly my fault for making do with resetting the switch to get hot water. I was only minorly inconvenienced so no big deal. Two of them have worked here since just after I moved in and have things well under control.The apartments are convenient to the areas businesses. There is a bus stop nearby. It is close to IH20 and IH35. The DMV is close. The Social Security office is close. There are major bank outlets close by. This apartment complex has been very convenient to living life without a car. It has a good location that has made it hard for me to want to move somewhere else and lose the convenience.The one thing I dont like is the increasing rent. Overall, I dont think the place is worth what they are continuously raising the rent to. You have to pay for access to the fitness room, the only amenity other than the pool and dog fun area, and the bike has been broken for several years and the treadmill is only usable if they issue you a magnet, which I have never been given, or even offered. There is only so much makeup you can put on an old pig. These apartments have been here for a long time and went through a run down period where the residents did not take care of the apartments, leaving a variety of problems that continue to this day, although they have addressed them as best they can.But overall, I like living here. Apartments are sometimes a hassle, but this place was nice enough for the amount I paid until recently since prices are soaring. I would continue to stay here as long as I can until the rent goes too high and I am forced to move to some less desirable part of town. I almost hate writing them a favorable review because it means more people will want to pay the higher rent and thus force me to move, but I have to be honest and say I have had a very good experience here and hate to even contemplate leaving.

    The staff here are very helpful even during this past Winter storm. As renters we need to be fair with the staff, 11 buildings were with out water, and had leaks and other maintenance issues.The staff can only do so much in so little time. Before the storm, the staff has been helpful.

    I loved living in Dakota Ridge, beautiful view, everything was close to me, clean, respectful, the secretaries were always friendly, especially Jamie and Rosa, very accessible, suddenly we had flaws, but if they solved them, I would give it a 4 because we had some problems with the operation of the air conditioning and heating suddenly, nothing that would not be solved, from then on, everything clean and a quiet environment!!! I would definitely go back there except that I had to move to another city :(
