    My experience over 3 years have been great & maintenance is excellent with requests. Regardless I would advise people to double check the bills charged, be careful with car security/valuables (break ins have happened but are inevitable) & besides one bad encounter with a manager about a charge issue, everyone in the staff has been wonderful. I would recommend to anyone who are first time apartment renters.

    I’ve been living at The Ravinia for almost 4 years now. I was considering moving out this year when my lease expires, but the new maintenance manager, Kevin, has been not only kind and attentive, but efficient when solving issues and improving our experience as residents. Yassi and Kevin are the best of the best when responding to residents needs. I definitely feel the positive change since Kevin came on board and look forward to extend my lease again.

    Travis did an excellent job fixing what was left horribly undone by the plumbers. The plumber took several hours to do a very simple job then didnt even complete it! Travis quickly and kindly took to finishing the repairs. He was courteous and kind, and followed the request to call me before entering.My only real complaint about being here is that the loose cats are starting to get a little out of control. People need to have better control of their animals. We always pick up after our dog, but it seems other animal owners out here could care less about the problems their animals could cause for others.The staff are all wonderful, friendly, and helpful and MOST of the neighbors are great people! We could use a locked community garden (and whoever they hired to do the improved landscaping was a bloody joke), but this is a great and quiet place to live.

    Everything was perfect until these neighbors started making noise, it’s incredible that everyday around 11 and 12 PM and 2 and 3 AM on weekends, the people from this apartment makes a lot of noise, they are shouting, laughing, etc. without any consideration for their neighbors. I have to say that the management were very interested in my issue and really helped me, they talked with the neighbors and since almost a month we hadnt had more noise. I really appreciate the help of the staff in this matter.

    Besides the parking its a great place to live! The front office people are very nice and caring, theyre professional but also human so you can actually talk to them. Desmond gets 5 stars all by himself though, when hes in the office and you call he answers quickly and does whatever he can to help you. Ive never gotten the voicemail on the days Desmond works!! Hes so cheerful and accommodating too, hes just awesome an awesome person! The maintenance workers are very proficient and helpful, they are always around to help with any issues youre having. Overall its a great place to live and the team is great! I wish the parking was better but thats a big thing to fix....

    Love the complex. I love the office staff. Desmond is amazing, he is super sweet, helpful and very attentive to any issues you might have. He was great with the move in process and helping with any questions we had. The manager and assistant manager are always willing to help as well. I love seeing Desmond around the complex. He always speaks he knows who you are and always ask how your day is going with that great big smile.

    From the moment I arrived to the facility front office I &was greeted, gladly to see me , the leasing agent was working with another family but acknowledging my presence too. When my turn came the agent was very helpful making it all simpler and easy to understand everything this company offers.     I moved to San Antonio about a year ago. All the leasing activity was done over the phone or email. The staff were most helpful and ready to do what ever it took to help me out. After being here for the last year I can not say enough good things about the management staff and the maintenance staff. My air conditioner decided to die just after I moved in. Mark and Alvin worked like dogs trying to get it fixed. Once it became obvious the was no saving the poor thing, the replaced it with a new one. I have had nothing but good experiences with management. They actually treat the clients here as neighbors not customers. I will agree that the kitchens could do with some updates but the ravine is worth an older appliances to me. (They may be older but they work well) And, yes, the parking could be improved. But the covered parking for a small fee each month solved that for me. All in all, I feel it is a great place to live. Its safe, clean, comfortable and my dogs love it here, (they love the ravine too).

    I had a really good experience recently working with Desmond to find the perfect apartment solution for my family. I appreciate the prompt response, flexibility, and willingness to answer any questions with a really good customer friendly attitude. We are in the middle of relocating to San Antonio and needed to find something in a short period of time accepting pets. I was able to do all paperwork online, via email and eSignatures. Desmond was fantastic to work with and very responsive. I will update the review once I am there for a few months to assess facilities, complex environment, safety, etc. Looking forward to it.

    Dear: Desmond and TeamSpent the last 2 and a half years here at The Ravinia as my first apartment in San Antonio. I honestly really enjoyed living up here in this side of town and having The Ravinia as my place of residence. The management is great and very understanding and helpful. They by far have the greatest maintenance team Ive come to know. Quick to act and very thorough. Also big shout out to Desmond for helping me get everything in order and figuring out many of the logistics. Awesome team here would definitely and have recommended this place to many.

    I have been living in these apartments for three years and when I say I have not had any other staff member who goes above and beyond like DESMOND!! Anytime I have an issue he is always there to help. He follows up with me on things to ensure they have been handled. On top of all that he is always very nice and always professional. Anytime I walk in the office he greets me with a smile and always have a great attitude!!! Every since he has been working in the office things get done a lot faster! He is so awesome and I am so glad he works here at the Ravinia he makes living he much BETTER!!!

    I have lived at The Ravinia going on 4 years. I cant say enough how well this complex has changed into being a welcoming apartment. Through my whole experience I have never enjoyed my apartment more than I do now. The staff always has a smile on their face and all minor progressive problems that I have ever incurred or witnessed are now consistently addressed and maintained. The new management company is well known and definitely upholds their reputation. So glad there is care in the community I live in and I have noticed this positive change over the past year. I really enjoy it here. Small things really make a big difference!

    We are so happy to be moving in here. Desmond pretty much sold us on this place. He was so enjoyable to sit down and talk with and made us feel so comfortable and welcome! He helped us work around the time we wanted to move in and made sure to get us the best rate. He was the reason we signed the same day we came in to look. Have yet to visit a complex with an employee as great as Desmond.

    At first, I was disappointed, but now that they have a new maintenance crew, I feel like we ate in better hands and we are being taken care of. There has been a leak issue for a while now and the old crew kept tearing up the ceiling and just doing a patch job. They never solved the problem. The new maintenance crew didnt even need to tear up the ceiling, they went to our furnace and saw we had a clog and explained how it would cause condensation on the A/C. No more dripping from the ceiling and I am extremely happy.

    I just moved to San Antonio and had to chose an apartment sight unseen. I called The Ravinia and spoke to Desmond during my moving process. He was WONDERFUL! He explained the entire process, described all the amenities and basically held my hand through the entire process. Desmond made this move much easier and less stressful then it could have been.     I recently moved into The Ravinia and it is the most beautiful apartment I have ever lived in! They worked with me to get me in the same day after my last apartment had mold/water damage and I had to do an emergency move in. I couldn’t be happier to start my new life here. The property is beautiful and it’s a great place for a new start for me and my dog. Thank you so much for getting me back into a healthy beautiful home. I plan on staying here for a while.

    I’ve been staying at the Ravinia Apartment for about 9 months now. I have to say that it is a really great community to live in.The people are very welcoming and the staff is very helpful. Desmond is the real MVP, he is very adiment about his job and always has a welcoming smile on his face. He’s a truly great worker whom helps me out with any issues I have. I would recommend these apartments to all my fellow military buddies.

    This place is 100% amazing... Other places could have better things than this apartment but I can guarantee that no other place will ever have a Desmond. Desmond is devoted to make this place a home rather than just an apartment! No joke!!! He even gave us some amazing food that he, along with some assistance, cooked!!     The Ravinia Apartments is a great place to live. It’s a safe and gated community. The location is right off the highway, which has it’s pros and cons.The neighborhood is friendly and quiet (despite the highway construction). The apartments has some great amenities; pool, laundry room and gym. However, I wish there was more parking. The staff in the office is also great, especially Desmond.

    Updated: it’s been a year and half since I moved to the Ravinia andThe staff is still great. The complex is not updated. Its dirty and noisy but thats the tenants fault too. The walls are very thin and it can use updated equipment. But the staff is helpful and friendly so that helps a lot.Ive been living here for 6 months and I honestly have had no issues with the staff. When Ive needed their assistance whether a maintenance request or disruptive noises etc Ive always able to count on their support. Karla has been exceptionally helpful and quite amazing. The whole staff has been great. I would recommend this apartment complex to someone.

    Big shout out too the office team! Since Ive been a resident for a long time, I can attest that the new management has had a significant impact. As a result, limestone rocks have been added to make the area more appealing. The rocks in the back can be dangerous due to the lack of a walking path; you could easily twist your ankle.However, everything you could possibly require is conveniently located nearby. Despite their close proximity to supermarkets, movie theaters, restaurants, shopping malls, and other entertainment venues, the apartments are serene and peaceful.

    I have been in the Ravinia for about 3 years.. and I must admit it has been a pleasant stay. Its quiet and I love my neighbors. They are all very friendly. At the beginning they have had so many changes to the staff coming and going. Now that greystar has taken over its good to see the staff they have now remaining there. They are making some improvements to the pool area and we now actually have family events. We even have a forum to post concerns, submit maintenance request, and even pay rent. So if you are looking for a quiet, cozy, and friendly place to live. This is your place. Now that they are making improvements to the property hopefully they will upgrade the apartments soon.

    I have lived here for 3 years and its been a roller coaster ride with multiple management changes. We have a new manager and she is on the ball and making many improvements and repairs. This is a great location and the floor plans for the size and money cant be beat in this area. It is a great property for walking your pets with mature trees and a ravine running through the property with picnic tables. Nice shady areas to relax. If you overlooked the Ravinia you might want to check it out again!

    The Ravinia is the most quietest place I have ever stayed. The neighbors are also very kind here. The atmosphere is gorgeous here. My favorite part of my apartment is the balcony. I like to sit on my balcony and relax without being in contact with anyone due to Covid. The office staff is very kind and are always willing to assist. Sometimes I feel like I’m at a luxury Hotel instead of an apartment. This will definitely be my last apartment for sure that I stay in. It’s in a good area. Traffic isn’t that good right now because of the construction but once that blows over, it’s going to be amazing around this area. You have access to 281 and 1604. H-E-B and Walmart are up the street which is a plus. You also have some very good restaurants of all kinds of food nearby. If you are apartment searching, I would definitely check out The Ravinia and hopefully you won’t have to search anymore forever. I love living here so far and I will be staying for awhile.

    Ive been here for 28 months and I have to say that the person who used to work here never seemed to care about correcting the difficulties that we have in the apartment, no matter how many work orders I put in. They would always say that they couldnt find any problems.Until I went to the office and told Yassy about my heater that wasnt blowing hot air. She graciously put in a work order, not expecting anyone to show up, that same day but Yared, the service tech, came and fixed the heater and thermostat. I want to thank Yassy and Yared for being great and professional in contrast to the other individuals who said they couldnt fix anything.

    I moved In September of 2014. I waited a year to write my review to get an over all view of how things are.First off when I moved in I was aware of the new maintenance and how they were behind. When I moved in there was also a new maintenance guy that had just started. Hes still here and wow hes great! I assume hes head maintenance and has since trained guys and hes done a great job. Ive only had one issue when in and that was with my ac freezing but maintenance was here the following day. Not only did he fix the problem but he cleaned the ac vent for me which he could have avoided. Thanks! Other than little non emergency things someone has come with in 7 to 10 day to fix it. Which is fine because I know Im not the only one here. I dont live in a house where I can schedule at my convince. However I dont allow people in my home with out me here so they do work with me and for that Im greatful. Ive lived places that are mean and what things done at their convince not mine but we work together and thats great!Ive seen complaints about parking... I think I live in a good spot because I dont have that problem however I dont come home at late hours when people are already home. Im home by 6 or 10 on weekends so there is always parking and if I thought it was a problem Id rent a parking spot or garage. Easy fix!As for amenities Ive only is used the pool. They clean it on Mondays so me and my kids only swim on Tuesday before others do. Oh and I LOVE that they have restrooms in the pool area. I havent used the guy yet but it looks nice and there are bathrooms in the hall there as well. Ive taken my kids to play with the pool table a couple times and they like it. We also take advantage of the golf area. We dont have golf clubs so we use rocks and have contests on who can get their rock in the hole first only using your feet and we play other games... they always ask to go to the golf area.Sometimes the gate doesnt work but I can see they try to have it up and going ASAP. I feel safe here even though because I see the patrol passing every night in his car. Havent had an issue so far with anyone here, I have some awesome neighbors.As for bugs we have had a roach scary me a couple of times but I just schedule pest control and thats it. I also bought this gel stuff from home Depot and thats really helped. I keep a clean home but if you come look at the complex youll see that its surrounded by a wooded area AND there is a small ravine in the center of the complex so bugs are going to pop up every once in a while.So far so good here... me, my husband and kids love it! Let me just say this, if you move here or any apt and expect the perks of living in a house such as your same parking spot everyday (unless you rent a space), 100% privacy, picture perfect lawn upkeep 24/7 and repairs at the drop of a dime then save yourself the stress and go find a house. Mow your own lawn, call plumbers/repair men to come at your convenience and be happy.If you move in an apartment just have common sense and realized you arent the only one living here. 4 guys cant help 100s of people all at once. Neighbors will be horrible from time to time but you dont get to pick them which is anywhere you live. Talk to the people in the office and theyll help you if the neighbor is breaking complex rules but for normal apt stuff just have patience.I just renewed my lease and odds are Ill do it again. We call this place a home, I love my high ceilings, crown molding and wow all the outlets! I know that sounds weird but outlets is the first thing me and my husband look at when we move somewhere. They are even in the closets!People are so quick to make terrible reviews and I get that but I give credit where credit is due. I see they try and in reality thats all you can ever ask from anyone. Right?!I do my part and pick up after ourselves, keep a decent patio, dont let the kids bang the walls to annoy my neighbors, keep the radio/TV and decent levels at night and most of all get to know my neighbors. Communication!

    The community is nice and well kept. Ive never felt unsafe while walking my dogs at night which is rare. I love the garden tub and the amount of natural light that comes in to the apartment. My main complaints are: There is only one entrance which can make getting home a pain since we are right off 281 and the construction makes a congested area that much more congested. Another complaint I have is parking. The parking lot is tight to the point of it being dangerous to drive through. There are too many garages and not enough parking spots. At times having to park one or three buildings over. This could be fixed with assigned parking and lowering the amount of garages. Then of course the kitchen is so outdated everything from the fictures, aplliances, cabinets. Everything in the kitchen is outdated. Finally, my main complaint is that even though management is very receptive and involved they can be intrusive. I had never heard of apartments doing inspections for the state and requiring residents to allow access to the home on 2 or 3 occassions. Overall, I like my apartment and for the rent price I leased for its fair.

    I enjoy the silence of the north side and friendly environment. Great place to live. Desmond in the front office is awsome and hard working. Goes above and beyond. Love this place and that guy.

    I usually expect a high level of profession when it comes to things like convincing a potential resident to reside in a home and area they would feel safe in.     Spacious floorplans with great built in desks and shelving. I live in a 2x1. my bathroom is enormous and my guest bedroom has bay windows. I also like this area. Its very convenient to prime shopping, restaurants, doctors, & hospitals.

    I stopped by the apartments today and the agent Jon had helped me out a great deal by telling me all the details of the community and on my decision in the fall I may consider The Ravinia because of the space and also by looking at the property it is very well maintained and once again thanks to Jon and the wonderful staff will keep in touch.

    I feel so comfortable here, the office staff is amazing, they’re always available to help and the pool is great! Maintenance Miguel and Yared do as much as they can to fix the problem, and they’re very friendly!
