Having lived in apartments since college and various locations within the Plano and Dallas, Tx area since 1997, I can honestly say The Lyla is ‘hands down’ the best and nicest community/complex. The apartments are spacious with custom home finishing, high ceiling, large closets, with both carpet and hard wood flooring. The actual apartment is only a portion of what you get when living here! The various amenity rooms are fabulous. You have much more living space within the Club Room, Media Room, Poker Room, Business Center, Wellness Center, 2 Kitchens, Pool, various lounge and sitting areas indoor and out which are all very well kept and maintained. I work both from home and away from home. My clients absolutely love coming here to the gym and clean facilities! This is a wonderful place to invite friends /family as there is so much to do on the property. Living here has also opened up more opportunities for me to meet people through the 3 monthly events hosted by Nicole and Mario the apartment life staff, who are wonderful with people and making everyone feel welcome and included. Lorenzo and Jasmine, apartment management, have such great attitudes, energy and truly care about what they do which is a big change from some other apartments. The location (75/George Bush) is fabulous with walking distance to Whole Foods, bank, various restaurants and more within Cityline. It’s extremely convenient to access from major highways. Safety in location and living environment is a key factor in my decision and it feels very safe here from the moment you set foot or drive onto the property. Maintenance and housekeeping are very friendly and prompt with request and work to keep common areas and hallways clean which my clients love. I am a ‘raving fan’ and highly recommend checking this place out soon !

I have lived in these apartments since 2021 and there have been several managers here since then. I just want to say that Sarah is one of the best ones! She seems genuine and sincere when she helps you and took her time helping me figure out if I wanted to stay at the property or not. I really do appreciate that she was not in a rush to get me out of there or move on to the next client and that she does not just dismiss my complaints or issues. The previous management was horrible. I will say that she is probably the main reason I decided to stay and lease another unit and I love that she remembers my name.Regarding the actual property itself, some of the previous reviews do have some truth to a few things. The property itself can be kept cleaner, could use touch up paint in the halls, the floors in the halls should be cleaned more often, but overall it is better than some of the other surrounding properties, especially for the cost.

Great area within walking distance to many restaurants and a Whole Foods. Move in was smooth and management made sure that everything was good to go. Any maintenance issue that we have had has been promptly handled by Roy, who is always incredibly friendly and understanding when making repairs.

Our experience moving into The Lyla has been great. Our main contact has been with Maebree, who is amazing—very professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. The building and apartments are beautiful. We are coming out of an incredibly sub par experience at another complex, and it has been a night and day experience. Thanks Maebree, and all The Lyla staff!4/22–Had a service request completed today. The request was taken care of on the day I requested, and Roy was very friendly, professional and efficient. As always, The Lyla staff are excellent.

The Lyla is a great place to live! I have lived here for 3 years, property managing team is awesome and attentive. The area is great as well there are trails and parks all around for dog working and just for peaceful walk. At night it is very peaceful and quiet, even with good restaurants walking distance away.

A great apartment. I just finished my first year at the Lyla. The unit itself has a nice, high ceiling and theres plenty of kitchen cabinet space and a large closet. Aside from the room, the Lyla staff stands out. When Ive submitted maintenance requests, they have been handled either same day or next day. The leasing office staff are quite friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy being there. The room and the staff are the two most important for me to give a high rating, but there are other details that make the Lyla worthy of 5 stars. The parking garage is actually big enough that I can always get a spot on my floor after work. The neighborhood is safe and open and with Whole Foods and several restaurants within walking distance its also convenient. The amenities are nice, and most importantly, are well maintained and clean. The TV room, party room and poker room are comfy and handy for hanging out with friends.

The love The Lyla apartments! Ive been here 6 months and am definitely renewing. My husband and I love the 24hr amenities and love love love the office staff and maintenance staff. They are super kind, and very attentive. They have this apartment life team that does their community events, and they dont disappoint! Theyre so personable and the events are a great way to meet your neighbor! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Its been almost 3 years staying with them and I can say we were never wrong with choosing to live here. They surpassed our expectations. Its our home away from home. They have maintained their standard of cleanliness and safety. The Lyla is the ideal location. Family friendly place. They are set apart from all the rest. Stay here and you will know how it feels to be at home. The management always make sure that the tenants needs and comfort are a priority. With management providing daily updates to all tenants. I am praising all the hard work of the apartment manager Lourenzo Caldwell and for being consistently helpful, responsive, detailed, honest, very friendly and accommodating to everyone. He lights up every room with his cheerful disposition. He is a magnet of positive energy. Keep it up! To sum it up its the best place to stay in Cityline.

Moved in about 2 months ago with my wife and can definitely say we picked the perfect spot. The location is great and the housing staff is even better! They alway host fun events and the pool area is a great place to unwind. I especially love their gym - they have every machine I need. The look of the apartment inside and out is very modern and everything works great.I really love their mailing system and their use of Luxer Lockers. (They send you a code whenever you package arrives) Also, parking is user friendly as well. Everything is just easy to use. Our neighbors are all nice and everyone is really friendly. There is definitely something for everyone. Come join the community!!

My experience and time at the Lyla was exceptional. Like truly, I hated to leave. The leasing staff really knows how to make you feel special and welcomed- not to mentioned the community events hosted by Carlie. The Community Director, Lorenzo calls you by name and makes his interactions warm and personalized. You will not just feel like a number here. Your voice is heard and you are seen. Its been just 5 days since I moved in and have been seeing so many issues. Microwave was off, kitchen sink filling with drainage smelling waste water, Dryer is not clean and has lot of pet hair. I dont know what else will I come across going forward.Past few days of living here has not been good. I hope that rest of my term remains fine and will update the review when I can call it my home.Update: Its been a month now. No major issues so far. The staffs were kind and helpful. Updating the stars from 2 to 4. Had an issue with refrigerator and maintenance staff immediately replaced it with another refrigerator. And thank you for the new resident gift!

I’m so excited to making the Lyla my new home. The property gives off the ambience of a high-end resort. The online pictures do it no justice. I knew almost instantly after stepping in the building it was right for me. Valerie at the leasing office was amazing! She made touring the property fun, while giving her honest opinion about the benefits and setbacks of the different units I looked at. I came in with a few must have features and she was patient in helping me find the perfect home. I was already so tired from touring other properties, so it was perfect! Not to mention CityLine is a beautiful area. I’m confident they’ll continue to maintain this new property and keep it beautiful.

We’ve had some recent challenges with valet trash. Today the maintenance team picked up all the weekend trash before we could even tell the office about the delays.We also had our apt number light out. Again, before we could place a work order it was replaced!This maintenance staff is fantastic. Thank you Jose and team for all you do and your dedication to the building.Since this post the maintenance team has changed. The office ousted the previous staff and now the trash and the trash bins are never picked up out of schedule and the only trash room is disgustingly full each Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday when there is no valet trash pickup.Downhill is this complex.

We lived in The Lyla for about 16 months since its opening in August 2018. It has been a great experience from the very beginning. Kasey helped us out to move in in 08.18. They have changed the manager couple times I guess but still the apartment is managed great by Jessica now. The staff is pretty professional and friendly, very fast in responding emails, events are great and amenities are awesome too.We used to lived on the 5th floor, no problems at all, neighborhood is great. Unfortunately we have to move to DC area, and we have not found anything like The Lyla around here. If you are looking for a great complex this is the place.

Ive been living here for almost 3 months and feel comfortable. I choose The Lyla because of the friendly professional staff when I came to view the apartment originally and my overall feeling of security.My move in process was easy but communication was lost. I tried calling the Lyla to confirm details and it took them 2 weeks to return my call (I had to email them.) When I arrived they didnt have my keys ready so had to wait awhile. Not the biggest deal but after a 3 day drive and having the internet cable guys waiting with me... it was frustrating.Since living here its been great. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, location is walking distance to shopping and lots of food and staff is all friendly.One small complaint is the amenities can be not dependable. For example, the yoga rooms have a tv in there and tablet to stream workouts on but they dont worry. I think its their internet connection because I use their Peloton as well on a daily basis and every-time I get on the internet doesnt work and I need to disconnect/ reconnect the network. Also, when you go to change the music station in the gym or outdoor area morning happens. Its just a shuffle.If you workout in the morning try to plan your time around when the cleaners get there. I found myself choking on chemicals they were spraying everywhere while I was working out twice. They didnt care that I was in there. Sometimes tenants let their kids roam free in the gym which can be disturbing during my workout.The quality of my apartment is great and has a small patio. Anytime you make a maintenance request they are ON IT! Thats great. They plan fun community events which all look great but most of the time they start at 6 and I don’t get off work until 6:30 so I skip them. Overall, I would recommend The Lyla and will continue renting here.

LOVE living at The Lyla! Everyone from maintenance to the leasing office staff is incredibly professional and super nice. The units are very spacious and modern- so are complex amenities. The staff has done a great job at keeping the premisses clean and sanitized and are always wearing a mask (thank you!).The only issue would be the dog owners not picking up after their pets and the pet run (the smell is a little overwhelming), but that is out of the control of the staff.If you are looking for a place to live in Cityline, I would highly recommend this complex!

I’ve lived here since November 2020 and have really enjoyed my experience so far. The amenities are always clean and I’ve used the game room several times. I’ve made a lot of friends with my neighbors walking around the area or at the Apartment Life events. Price is cheaper per square foot than other apartments in the cityline area as well. Also the electric switches make sense. I’ve been to some of the other complexes in City Line and their electrical system makes no sense.Management is a hit or miss. Some individuals are great and super helpful, others have a lot of attitude and seem like they hate their job. I guess it depends on who’s in that day. Maintenance is also really polite and timely.Parking is not bad either. If you come into the garage late at night, you might have to go up a half ramp. I’ve never had to park more than 1 floor away and there’s plenty of guest parking.There are also 2 dog runs that get super smelly during dry seasons. Try to avoid the first floor near them. Doesn’t smell too bad from the second floor.The complex uses Active Building for communication between leasing and residents, and I hate it. We used to have a groupme to help each other out during the winter storm, and once residents started unionizing their complaints, the groupme was deleted. You can’t even post anything on Active Building without an administrator’s consent, so if you need something during the evening or weekend, there’s no chance your post will be shared.As far as noise goes, I personally don’t think it’s too bad. You will hear sirens on the street and some people walking/chatting outside your doorway. Overall the residents are pretty quiet. You can definitely hear dogs barking every now and then though.I also feel the Lyla is pretty safe. I’ll see a door open occasionally but the garage gate is almost always closed. I know some of the other complexes around here are accesible without a fob.

Excellent customer service! My husband and I found out that we needed to relocate to Texas from Minnesota within a two week timespan - Amber delivered stellar customer service when helping us choose our apartment unit!! She FaceTimed us and walked us through whichever units we wanted to see. She was also extremely responsive and helped us get quickly approved and we were ready to move within a week! One of the main reasons why we chose The Lyla was because Amber was so helpful and patient in helping us choose the perfect unit. Other places told us to look at their virtual videos (we had wanted to tour our specific unit! After all we are new to Texas and wanted to be sure we were satisfied with all amenities and units as photos and videos can be photoshopped these days!!)Everyone is always so friendly. The units are super clean. The amenities are in excellent condition! No complaints about the mailroom or service either! Our packages never get lost (they use Luxer Locker so you may only retrieve a package with a QR code specifically sent to you! SO COOL!) and when we needed a water filter replacement or toilet looked at, it happened on the same day!LOVE it here! You will too!!

The Lyla is the place to live! Besides having an extremely clean facility, the staff make you feel welcome, appreciated and will go out of their way to make your stay at the Lyla enjoyable and rewarding. They have the best Apartment Life Team, Mario and Nicole Lozano, are extremely active and are always finding ways for the tenants to meet other tenants and enjoy awesome activities from Tapas and Wine, to Wine Down Wednesday, to Pizza and Puppies, you name it. The Lyla is full of activities and Mario and Nicole just kicked it OUT of THE PARK with this years Steak Night. This was an awesome event, The Lyla together with TG Steakhouse, provide grill to order steaks, sausage and the Traditional Brazilian Caipirinha. Please check The Lyla out. You will be surprised to see an awesome property with awesome staff and neighbors that allow you to relax and enjoy you living there.

The Lyla Apartment staff has been a true blessing for my family and I. I was in a horrible apartment move nightmare and Valerie came and saved our day! I had 24 hours to find my family a new home unexpectedly and I stumbled along The Lyla Apartments. When i provided my wants in an apartment Valerie knew exactly what model apartment to take me. As soon as I walked it I knew it would be our now new home! Within 24 hours the staff was able to clean, paint accent walls and more! They were really determined to turn my situation completely around! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!Thanks so much Staff for your excellent customer service and friendliness! It did not go unnoticed.

Extremely impressed not only by the apartments and amenities; but the staff here as well. There are so many great people here from all walks of life who make this a great place. Two individuals who really stood out to me above all are Geo & Seraphina.Geo did a more than stellar job moving me in, worked hours way later than he should have just to make me comfortable, and continued to support me in many ways far beyond his call of duty. There are too many times to even count where he stepped up and handled situations that could have been absolute disasters all by himself and came back to me with a smile just to tell me everything was all handled. I couldnt name a more professional individual than this man and I would honestly sign a lease anywhere he moved from this point on.Seraphina is an incredible part of this team as well. She is extremely professional, attentive, and polite. Any issues that arise (as they do at all apartment complexes), I know that I could turn to Seraphina to find an adequate resolution in a timely manner.
