My roommate and I have lived at The Lucas for the past year, and we’ve been impressed by the positive changes we’ve seen. The addition of a working gate in the garage has significantly improved security, giving us peace of mind about our vehicles. The new management team is another standout—they genuinely care about residents, actively organizing community events and being responsive to individual concerns. On top of that, the apartments are modern and well-maintained, standing out compared to other options in the area. Overall, The Lucas has become a great place to live, and we truly appreciate the improvements!

I’ve lived at the Lucas now for three years (2021-present) and over the last few months I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the management and operations of the building. Property Manager, Ryan Fleming, and his team have done an astounding job elevating the quality, security, and sense of community for the property. The level of communication from management to residents has increased ten fold and is greatly appreciated. Safety and security has always been a major concern for many residents. Over the last few months, they have installed and implemented several security measures to combat this concern and it is working! They have held several resident community events to which I say “keep them coming!” In conclusion, there has been more done for this property in the last few months than in the entire time before then. I hope Ryan and his team keep up the good work and know all of it is noticed and greatly appreciated.

I have lived at The Lucas since it was built 3 years now and have had an outstanding experience. The staff, specifically Shara and Tameka have been incredible. I’ve hosted my husbands birthday each year in the Clubroom with friends and family. They rave about the amenities and overall design/layout of the complex. It’s been an incredible experience to live in this new community and share it with the people we love. I absolutely highly recommend this place for any new comer to Dallas and also to anyone wanting a vibrant and welcoming experience in the downtown Dallas areas.

I’ve lived at the Lucas since 2019 Period since Ryan and his team have taken over as a new management, I have seen significant improvements to the community. The leasing agents are more professional than ever. All of My requests Have been handled in a timely manner, and a special shout out to Danielle! Danielle has been fabulous and is always a joy to work with. Her enthusiasm and energy is infectious and contagious. Always love when I run into her around the community.

The entire team has been a pleasure to work with! Paulina the assistant manager, is a ray of sunshine! I toured with her originally at the end of a very busy Monday, she appeared to be alone that day but never made me feel rushed and always had a smile on her face! The manager Ryan was such a doll and made me feel very comfortable about the apartment home I was going to lease. Fast forward to move in day Danielle and her friendly smile was there waiting for me with all the info in hand, she took her time and helped me with anything I needed that day! I’ve been here a few weeks and any maintenance items I needed have been handled promptly! The entire team is amazing and I feel comfortable knowing they will take care of me as a resident! The apartment home is so nice and spacious, amenities are great and parking hasn’t been an issue for my guest as there is usually plenty of street parking and guest parking you can register for. If you are looking at The Lucus go for it! I haven’t had any complaints ✨♥️

The new office staff take over has positively turned over my experience living here. Ryan & Paulinas dedication and care towards this property and its residents is truly notable.I have noticed a significant improvement in communication regarding new projects and work getting done around the property. Their prompt and effective sharing of information has made a real difference. Also, the maintenance staff is doing a great job maintaining the building and promptly servicing work orders.

I want to give Ryan and Paulina a shout out for doing amazing customer service since they have token over management. I’ve had a very bad taste with the Lucas for over a year now with all of the previous management. False promises, unexpected charges that I never got refunded, horrible transition to my new apartment. The list can go on and on, but ever since Ryan and Paulina has token over I’ve seen the change dramatically at this apartment and especially how they treat the residents. It has been a great experience so far with the new team Ryan and Paulina. Keep up the good work. Also the new maintenance team has done a lot better as well :)

Its been great living at the Lucas for the past 1 year-ish. The staff were friendly and welcoming during the move-in process, and the apartment itself is quite nice with modern appliances and finishes. I really like the large windows that provide good lighting and views of the surrounding area. The communal areas like the clubroom, fitness center, and pool area are also fantastic, (and clean) and Ive met some wonderful people here.The location is perfect, with plenty of great restaurants, bars, and shops in the area. Its also easy to get to downtown Dallas from here, which has been convenient. I feel like Im right in the middle of everything and I never run out of things to do.

Let me tell you are new Assisting Manger Ryan is everything he takes care of business . Ryan is approachable and I like how he assured me if there is anything else I need make sure just to let me know. I was not but on whole for my issue he handle it ASAP!!!!! LaTasha V

Update: The Lucas is under new management. The new property manager, and her staff, have listened to the renters and have agreed on positive changes with more promised to come.The dog waste situation has been better. I now see staff walking the property and making changes as needed. Although my first 5 months were challenging I am hopeful for my future here at the Lucas. I will update my review in a month or two.My experience at the Lucas has been awful. I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Edion, my leasing agent, took 3 weeks to respond to my emails and the 25 voicemails I left. I had questions about the application but could not get answers to my questions. I ended up losing two different units because no one would answer the phones or respond to voicemails left.Youre probably thinking, why didnt you just go somewhere else. I should have; however, I was moving from California and couldnt see any other places.I lost two different units that were on special. No one apologized for the lack of communication, and the staff kept blaming each other.After 3 weeks, it took me calling every minute for 30 minutes, leaving voicemails until the voicemail box was completely full for someone to finally pick up and answer my questions. After filling out the application, I spoke with Edion, who assured me I had completed the application process and I was approved.When I showed up to collect my keys, I was told that I hadnt filled out the application and was FORCED to reapply. Mind you, I had two moving trucks and my family waiting outside for TWO hours while they processed my application. And, of course, they tried to double-charge me for the processing fee. When all was set and done, the apartment I had applied for was not move-in ready, and I would have to come back the following week.After almost losing my cool, the manager found me an apartment to move into. However, it was filthy. The fridge broke, the microwave busted, and my water heater was dripping, causing mold issues all in my first month.After speaking with the current property manager, although promises were made there continues to be a dog poop all over the complex, inside and out. It has become apparent that the property managers need to walk the property more regularly. There is dog poop left in hallways for days, the common areas reak of dog piss, and the trash situation is ridiculous. I feel bad for the maintenance staff. I dont know if they have retention problems or if the complex wont pay for more workers, but they all seem super stressed. They do an excellent job and are always super sweet, but I can tell the maintenance manager is overwhelmed.In 5 months there has been issues every single month. Oh and if you think that rent is 1400, its actually 1500 with all of the fees that are attached to your lease. I never use the trash valet. I think its disgusting to leave my smelly trash in front of my apartment and be forced to bring in my can before 9am. Im handicapped and getting out of bed is hard for me. If its not in by 9am you are fined $75. on the rare occasion that the floors are mopped the water is not replaced once its dirty so they literally are just smudging the dirt around the ground. My doorstop is ALWAYS filthy.I have never left a review of a complex but I have always lived in California where the laws protect the leaser before the the business.

We loved The Lucas apartment. my husband and I decided to renew our lease because the service is excellent, the location is perfect and we are very happy here. the apartments are just so beautiful and very well thought out. Our apartment is very spacious and modern. this is why we chose these apartments in first place. The staffs response to our needs have always been very quick and profesional, all the amenities and other areas ( elevators, hallways, and stairs) are always in a in a great condition. the drive up parking is a life saver. It’s helpful and there is always enough space. Andrea has been with us since the beginning of our stay. We love her so much.

Amazing customer service. I was here about a week ago, touring a unit with Alex. He is the absolute freaking best! He’s so genuine and friendly!! Even though I ended up not signing for the place, he was so helpful in all my questions, and made the experience even better, he was so nice and seemed genuinely happy to be there helping me which is the last thing I ever find when touring apartments! Usually people are grumpy and not willing to help with questions I may have but he made the experience remarkable. These apartments were located at a perfect place, in a reasonable price range and are an absolute perfect place to live, unfortunately I was not able to sign. I recommend this apartment complex to my friends especially touring with Alex.

I honestly came here to leave a 5-star review, due to my appreciation for the staff, specifically Shara, and the incredible design of this community- amenities, apartment size, business center, sky lounge, gym, pool, and overall maintenance. The community itself is a 10/10!However, after reading other reviews, I can’t neglect how unsafe the surrounding area is. My car was recently broken into (third floor of the parking garage) - luckily no damage and little to nothing stolen as I do not leave anything of value in my vehicle. Other cars were damaged and not so lucky. I’ve been told this happens often, which is unsettling given the fact these are “luxury” apartments. Security needs to be seriously increased for these apartments to receive 5 stars. All in all, I am incredibly grateful for the staff and thoroughly enjoy living here at the Lucas! Thanks again to the incredible office staff and maintenance crew for always being so helpful and kind! Keep up the great work.

This is the most wonderful experience I have ever had leasing and moving into an apartment, ever. Andrea showed an apartment, the one I would be moving into. Edion and Morgan are my favorite people in life literally! I love what I pay in relation to the value I get living here. If. Paul’s Corp would consider one or two more car charging stations for us EV users that would be phenomenal. We have on average about 6 EV’s to 1 double-head charger. Ive lived in the Lucas for about 2 years now. I like how quiet and serene the ambience is. Everything seems to be in order, from how the gym is managed, to how the common rooms are put together. I also like the way the maintenance guys fix issues in a timely manner. Kudos to all the staff also for their effective communication. You guys really keep us in the know about what is going on. We appreciate you!! Please just help us out with the parking lots. They could do with a little cleaning.

Had a very great experience when I visited this property and took the tour. Excellent customer service from the two young ladies that I had the privilege of meeting. Which by the way had the same names, Andrea. This place had everything I was looking for to call my next home. The only thing that kept me for leasing was the commute to and from work each and every day. Other than that I would’ve become a resident of the beautiful location. Very highly recommended.

Wonderful apartments and even better customer service. I toured a one bedroom with the help of Alex, he is truly what made my experience touring the Lucas astronomical. Finding an apartment is already tough and stressful, especially with being new to the Dallas area and with the abundance of properties around it almost feels impossible to find a good place with kind and caring people taking care of the residents. However, Alex absolutely exceeded my expectations, it didnt even feel like I was being given a tour. He exuded nothing but the utmost warmth, hospitality, and wasnt too pushy or gimmick-y, like a true southerner! And at the end to find out he had only been doing this a month dang near dropped me on my rear end, I need all apartment complexes to have an Alex lol!

Although I havent moved in yet, I Move in later this year. I just wanted to comment on some of the crime post. At my job I am a dispatcher and monitor CCTV cameras, parking garages, etc across the country and work with multiple locations all over Dallas. In my experience I would say that no matter where you move within the city you will have crime, especially in a parking garage. Ive seen it happen night and day, yes even in more secured areas of the city. I think anybody who wants to move to the city needs to realize that you will encounter crime and homeless people daily. Thats just simply the nature of the living in the city. The Lucas is off of maple which has had a fair share of homeless people but they tend to stay in the park near the lesser apartments and near the gas stations on maple. Although this could present an inconvenience for people not used to dealing with homeless in the city its not out of the norm or overwhelming again its the City. Overall crime is not as rampant as some reviews make it, and the Location of the Lucas is very convenient and you will regularly see people out walking dogs, walking to restaurants/bars, and exercising around the neighborhood at all times. Katy trail is also a ten minute walk from the Lucas for example. The neighborhood also has a very caring and attentive community on the Next door app. The staff is very nice, I believe I worked with Andrea. They made my wife and I feel at home from the beginning and are very attentive and went above and beyond to get us the apartment we wanted. The Apartments are clean and the amenities are really nice. You regularly see the maintenance and groundskeepers cleaning and maintaining the property. The Lucas is secured location and typically you will not see random strangers inside the property unless they are let in by residents or if they sneak into the parking garage, these things are not the fault of the Lucas and is next to impossible to fully prevent. Word of advice when living in the city, dont be flashy, dont leave items laying around or in your vehicle and always be aware of your surroundings no matter what part of the city you may be. One wrong turn can have you in a good or bad

I went to go visit a friend today at the Lucas Apartments to drop off a bday gift, I walked the entire complex searching for my friend’s unit and ended up at the leasing office for help. Alex contacted my friend to ensure that he knew who I was before directing me to his unit. My friend appreciated the safety precautions that were taken. Not to mention that he is so friendly and easy to approach. Great employee up there, happy to meet him!

I have lived at The Lucas for almost 15 months and plan on renewing my lease. The property is clean, and for the most, pretty quiet! The Management and Office Team has always been accommodating! Andrea Munoz is a breath of fresh air to our community! She is an advocate of the recycling program (which may seem silly, but it’s a big deal to me! We only have one planet, you all!). Living here is delightful. It’s a quiet neighborhood with wonderful staff. Shara and John are FANTASTIC. Shara went out of her way to help me out when I was in a time constraint and consistently makes herself available to be helpful around the community. John has been on the receiving end of a few phone calls and handled situations for me with attention to detail and fluidity.More than anything, I moved in let minute, and have felt at home because of the peaceful environment, incredible amenities, and exceptional staff.From the front office, to the maintenance crew, everyone greets with a smile and is willing to be helpful no matter what. I’m grateful and blessed.

I can’t say enough about The Lucas, it’s honestly the best place to live in Dallas! I love my new place, it’s modern, the maintenance and landscaping is impressive, the pool is so enjoyable with this Texas heat... but the best part is the overlooking view of the city 😍😍😍 The girls at the office are all so attentive! I had the pleasure to work with Andrea Rojas who listened to me and knew exactly which apartment would suit me. She really did go over and beyond. Oh, and did I mention the view 😍

The Lucas has nice amenities, and is in a great part of town. We love our apartment, and have had 0 problems with neighbors, maintenance, or bugs. Parking garage could use some touch-ups and regular cleaning. Staff are very friendly, but lack the responsiveness I would personally like from them. Community events havent been exciting, but August 2019 has a few nicer things planned. Overall, if youre looking for a two bedroom apartment I would recommend the Lucas. (Not sure their prices on the one bedroom are worth the going rate.)

Amazing amenities, beautiful courtyards and great customer service!! My wife and I moved in right after our wedding and are in love with these apartments, we’ve had a few little complains but nothing worth mentioning.I was also part of the architectural team that design this place and couldn’t wait to move in as soon as it finished construction. As soon as you walk from the garage into the building and turn to the courtyard you’ll know what I am talking about, I can’t say enough about this place and how well design it is :) very positive experience for my wife and I.

Been here almost 2 years and it’s been a pleasure. Other than the power outages randomly it’s been good staying at the Lucas. The service is excellent. The maintenance guy Antonio is spot on with everything great guy in my opinion always working with a great attitude. Next is tameka at the front desk aka super woman. ANY TIME I’ve had an issue that’s my go to. They other folks are cool but it’s always that one you have that bond with and that’s definitely tameka. I don’t think she knows how much she’s appreciated. As far as the property it’s well maintained. Love the front pool but the back is where it’s at 😎🤫

My husband and have had a great experience living here! Maintence is so easy to work with, you use an online portal to submit any issues and they usually take care of it within hours of you requesting help. Management is super friendly and always helpful. They also installed new locker packages that are convenient and easy to use, instead of going to the office every time you got a large package. I would highly recommend living here!

From my experience with Ms. Nicole , Everyone should live here. From her tone to her body language, was a one.I think it’s amazing how she was so professional but also made me feel comfortable and not just me but the residence that’s currently living there.in I feel like that’s what helps make a home ( comforter). Ms.Nicole didn’t give on this one lady even though she spoke a different language, nor did she show any type of frustration and she don’t show what’s going on outside of work. From the lul time I did spend around her she a hero with no Cape and does amazing at her job. Keep it up MSSS.NICOLE the world need more people like u 🤘🏽

The Lucas provides a nice building, close proximity to downtown (cheap Uber, Lyft rides) and professional staff and management. I have had no issues and feel pretty good about moving here from Illinois sight unseen.
