What a great experience! I wasnt sure if they can tour me without an appt, but I was greeted by such a welcoming vibe. Everyone is smiling and offered coffee and water. This place was great! They mentioned they just took over the property about 2 weeks ago and they have great plans coming soon. Def in good hands!!

Was a little nervous about the Alexan being taken over by the Arcadian, but I’m feeling better about it already. Put in a maintenance work order for our dryer vent to be replaced and Luke not only was there within 24 hours, he also took the time to clean all of the lint. He was great, I really appreciated him and his professionalism! :)

I love living here. Ideal location but even more importantly, incredible staff. Our housekeeper Sylvia keeps the building spotless and smelling wonderful. Maintenance is quick and prompt, they’ve always come same day for any of my requests. I also love that we have so many events regularly, Shanelle does an amazing job planning really cute stuff and there’s tons of freebies.

Im wrapping up a 13-month lease here and its by far the BEST apartment Ive ever lived in. The leasing staff, Shanell and Wes are so genuine, friendly, and communicative. The entire maintenance team led by Doug is SO efficient. When I submit a maintenance request in the evening, they show up first thing the next morning to get it fixed. The property cleaning team is led by a lovely woman that greets everyone warmly (Elizabeth, maybe?) and they keep everything so clean.The location is great - right along the Katy Trail and walkable to Ice House, Tequila Social, and all of the Harwood District. We were on the 8th floor and snagged a unit with 20ft ceilings and 13ft windows which were just beautiful. Very dog-friendly. I wish I could stay longer and am only leaving b/c Im moving out of state!

Lived here for more than two years and it is a great apartment complex. The cost is good, amenities are great, location is great, especially the direct access to the Katy Trail. I love my unit and there is plenty of parking, so I never have to worry about that. The staff is helpful. I especially enjoy the events for residents that they put together a couple of times a month. The maintenance team typically responds to requests same-day or next-day and they have resolved each of my requests to my satisfaction. Special mention to Silvia and Osman who I see most days and do an amazing job with the housekeeping and maintenance.

The maintenance staff is awesome! Silvia is always so cheery and sweet. She always waves and says hello to my dogs and I. Osman is always quick and punctual with any maintenance request I have. Joel and Doug are also very nice and have helped after hours and keep the complex looking great! As a team, they help to keep our building looking good and are very much appreciated.

Have loved living here and being right off of the trail. Any issues weve submitted were addressed quickly and the building is kept clean. Maintenance staff is also very helpful, every time I bump into Silvia she is cheerful and friendly. Shanelle is great with coordinating events - she and Wes have been fantastic each time weve communicated.

Great apartment. Maintenance responds within 24 hours for normal requests and comes right away for emergency. Silvia (the housekeeper) is so kind and thoughtful always greeting me and my little one. They keep the grounds clean and clean the grills weekly even when the community members don’t. Also love the leasing staff they are so kind and always welcoming when I come down to grab coffee in the morning they even sent me flowers to congratulate me on my pregnancy! Great place to live great location close to everything and amazing apartment!

Pretty good place to live with easy access.Pros:The maintainance staff is outstanding! Always on top of everything.Nice amenities. Gym, pools.Cons:The noise level is a bit high especially if you’re on Harry Hines or the free way side. Pretty much the only quiet place is interior facing towards the pool.There’s persistent issue with the elevators. They always break.The property management team is not very nice or pleasing to deal with.

I was a bit hesitant to move here due to the scary move out reviews.. However, I will say that living here currently has been a great experience! Wes & Shanelle have been great to work with, the maintenance team has fixed every issue within hours of it being submitted, and they made the move in process very streamlined. As a property manager myself, these are all things I really appreciate :)

We recently moved into the Alexan and the maintenance staff has been excellent. A few issues had to be addressed at move in time and Osman fixed issues with the fans, refrigerator, and molding within 2 days.

I have been here for 11 months now and can honestly say out of the 5 apartments Ive leased at over the past 10 years Ive lived in Dallas, this is the BEST property Ive leased at. The leasing staff is very nice and attentive. Any minor issues Ive ever had, they are reachable and execute the issue in a timely manner. The maintenance team is just as great! I can put in a request in the morning and they will be knocking on my door within a couple of hours to fix whatever I need fixed. I feel very safe living here and I have a dog that I walk 3 times a day. There arent any doors you can access w/o a key fob. My neighbors are really nice and respectful of quite hours. Despite this being such a large property, it is very quite and overall the residents and cleaning staff help to keep the property clean. I genuinely enjoy coming home to my apartment every night and cant say Ive felt this way about any other property Ive lived at. I will 100% be renewing my lease.

My significant other and I love living at The Alexan, we have just renewed for our second year. The staff is great here and they have a really quick response time to get things done. Sylvia and Eva are wonderful and reliable for housekeeping and tending to the building, even for walking our pup if we have a long day at work. I highly recommend using their services! The maintenance team responds to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently. The office team is great as well. Everyone is super friendly. Our apartment is clean, we dont have any pest issues and no problems with any immediate neighbors. Only downside is that some of the building tenants (or their guests) are really inconsiderate, whether its not picking up after their pets outside or leaving beer cans lying around overnight, but this is to be expected at any apartment building in the uptown/downtown area. Unfortunately, the maintenance team is left to pick up after them which they do a great job of. All in all, this is a great building to live at, not sure why anyone would give anything but a 5-start review.

People always write about poor management when reviewing apartments but I havent had that experience at all. The people in the office I have worked with are always friendly and helpful. The amenities at The Alexan are really nice and well maintained. The gym is top-notch. The pool on the roof is also a nice touch. I wish there was a jacuzzi.The area throughout is always kept clean and well maintained. This is a good, nice, place to live. You have free covered parking and there is plenty of it. I am reviewing this based on its amenities and my personal experience with the management - which has been good.Also, the location is great. You are within walking distance to the AAC and the Katy Trail Ice House. You can hop on the Katy Trail in about two seconds. Plus, its extremely easy to hop on 35 or the Tollway from here. Quick commute for me to get to work.

Living it up in Dallas! I moved into The Alexan a few months ago from Austin with my boyfriend. Our apartment is clean, modern, and fantastic location! And the office smells wonderful. Easy access to walk my pup on Katy trail, have a beverage at Katy Ice House, or watch a concert at American Airline Center. Parking is easy and normal car size spots unlike other properties around here.I want to give special thanks to Camden for finding our new home despite us being bi-city with complex schedules. Also special shot out to Sarah. She gave me peace of mind and checked our apartment when the alarm went off and we were out of town. Both went above and beyond. We will be renewing!

The Alexan has been a peaceful, beautiful community. The knowledgeable staff are friendly and professional. The amenities are kept clean and operational. Building is secure and has electronic locking mechanisms in place. Dog friendly community with easy access to the Katy Trail and restaurants. Easy commute to downtown. Been a great experience thus far!!

Resort like amenities for budget prices. By far the best combination of High Quality and Medium price point in the DFW area. This was my experience from Dec 2021 to Dec 2022. As of Jan 2023 my rent increased from $1575 to $1800. After different fees I actually pay $1895 a month for a luxurious 1BR. Key 🔑 word is I expect luxurious amenities. From Dec 2022 to today Aug 4 2023 1 of the 2 main elevators that services 17 floors has been out of service and is still out of service. Most of the residents deal with this random inconvenience in silent grace. Overall I have enjoyed my stay but feel for $1895 a month a main elevator out of service for 7 1/2 months and counting deserves some monetary compensation. I have decided to move and requested management waive the 2 month / $3600 breaking lease fee. Perhaps 🤔 I’m delusional but I feel that’s a reasonable request since I haven’t received the luxury $1895 a month requires. Let me also add Nicole has been exceptionally professional while denying my request 😞.

Ive been living here about two years and have been happy with the location, value, and service. My apartment is spacious and pleasant and the amenities are second-to-none. Silvia and Eva really stand out as great housekeeping--one of the cleanest complexes Ive ever lived at and friendly faces to see on a regular basis! The only downside is how often the elevators break down. If that was fixed the place would be pretty close to perfect!

I moved to the Alexan in September of 2020 and have had a very positive experience. Sebastian was the leasing agent who initially gave me my tour, and was very attentive and helpful throughout the process. He took the time to answer all of my questions, and any time I communicated with him through email was very prompt, responsive, and professional.For those currently conducting an apartment search, I will list pros and cons to hopefully help in your decision making process. I think it is important to note my situation since my experience so you can decide whether or not my pros/cons are relatable to you: I am a single, mid-20s guy, I live by myself, have no pets, and spent the majority of my lease working in person (not working from home).Pros:1. Location: For me, the most important factors that make a location valuable are proximity to entertainment, proximity to running trails, and ease of access to major roads/highways so I can get to/from places efficiently in general. The Alexan is right off the Katy trail and is close to many restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. For those who like walking (like myself) West Village, Uptown, and the heart of Victory Park are relatively close. I love coffee and walk over to Magnolia Sous le Pont pretty often.2. Price. I understand that the market is currently pretty wild, so pricing is not what it was when I signed, however from my experience I do believe that the value I have gotten from my experience has been worth the price.3. Amenities: I did not know this somehow until three months in, but there is a rooftop pool and patio that is not heavily advertised which is amazing. The other pool area is nice, and the gym is spacious and has everything you need. Parking is never an issue in the garage.4. Neighbors/People in General: I honestly have never heard anything from my direct neighbors, so it has been nice and quiet. Most people will pass you with a smile or a quick hello which is nice.Cons:1. The elevators have occasionally gone out in the months I have been here but they are usually quick to schedule a technician to come and make a repair.

Staff and the actual units are great! In a perfect location...not too congested with traffic in Victory Park, but close enough. It’s nestled off Katy Trail and the freeways. My two notes of improvement: 1) Security and 2) Package Retrevial. There’s a security guy but he’s usually leaning along the rail or sitting in his car outside the leasing office. It would be great to see 2 security people on opposite ends of the property, walking the main elevator corridors and driving around the garage and parking lots. With the past crime here, there needs to be a more aggressive approach to making the property safe, and making residents FEEL safe. I haven’t witnessed issues but my neighbors have had run-ins with homeless or suspect people walking the garage. So, those and the complaints and fears travel.I’ve witnessed neighbors not able to get packages or find them when they’ve been delivered to the office and the office has notes that they have them. With the size of the community, they need a part-time coordinator that is dedicated to answering resident calls, managing packages, and following up with residents who have issues if they aren’t going to be resolved within the promised time. Communication is important and I think that would help them lessen the complaints I witness every time I’m in the office or amenity spaces. That would also allow the management office to focus more on some of the transitional issues that are evident. I’m a former Condo Resident Manager so I may be speaking from that viewpoint regarding my concerns, but it’s a great staff and they are making efforts, for sure!

I move to the Alexan a week ago, the place is amazing , clean and quiet. Staff member are always there to help you every step of the way. I worked with Rai mostly and he went above and beyond to accommodate my needs . Amenities are great, indoor gym, roof top pool plus the apartment interior appliances are top of the line. I am glad I picked the place as my new home after looking for more the 20 apartment in the area.

My wife and I lived at The Alexan for the past year and had a wonderful experience. The management staff was always extremely helpful (especially Mike and Sarah) and was willing to go the extra mile. The maintenance team was great for regular in apartment requests. Light bulbs, water filter, etc. would always be replaced same day with the job complete prior to me getting home from work.The only issue is that one of the four elevators always seemed to be broken. This caused only minor delays and frustrations and was outside of the management company control as the elevator repair and maintenance was contracted through a 3rd party elevator company.Everything about the apartment itself was great and we would be still living there today if we didnt buy a home out in the suburbs.

My boyfriend and I LOVE our apartment @ The Alexan! Location is central to everything, beautiful views of the city and Katy Trail, super clean and great amenities. The most important thing though is the care that management takes for its tenants. Camden especially, from day one has remembered our names, is always there to help us if needed and always quickly resolves any issues we have. It’s a great place to live :)

Great property and good location on the trail. Walking to Victory Park, AAC and Katy Ice house was my favorite. Gym was great and pool was solid too.The rooftop pool and grills are good for entertaining.Getting guest and delivery drivers in the property is a nightmare but definitely manageable. Also, getting packages is difficult now that they turned off the luxur one lockers.

My spouse and I have resided at The Alexan for a couple of years. We love the amenities, access to the Katy Trail and above all the staff. You will not find a staff member from the leasing offices, to the maintenance staff, or housekeeping who does not go out of their way to try to serve you. The butler service is another definite perk. We feel extremely safe living here as well. The only reason I am not giving 5 ⭐️ is the elevators are often challenging. No fault of management as they do everything to try to help and notify you promptly of any issue. Nothing is perfect but living at The Alexan is pretty darn close!

Review based on pure leasing office experience and tour.Highly recommend speaking to Sarah Ashcraft in Leasing about this property for any apartment search in the Dallas proper / city center. Victory Park is one of the best areas to live in Dallas for singles / young professionals. The Alexan is an outstanding property for both value and quality. They have many of the same amenities as most luxury apartments. However, their quality is amazing.What kept me from doing so was that they didnt have a single-use private garage, as a very limited number of other apartments in the Victory Park area do. However, the rent is much higher.Units- High quality, luxury finishes- Options between a light or dark finish countertopAmenities- 2 fl. high quality fitness center (top floor is cardio)- The pool is very large and has high quality appearances.- Their common area has a pool table and shuffleboard- Amazing 2 separate courtyards for an outdoor common area^ to name a few

Camden has gone far and above to make this year at The Alexan Superior to any other property, When we couldnt get the sofa moved in during the rainn he made a special trip down getting soaking wet to help us. Michal and Camden treat you like you are their mother, or sister and are so patient and selfless. i thought customer service was gone till I moved here.Besides the great deals on the units, backing up to Katy Trail and the amazing Rooftop -I dont want to ever move.

I really like living at The Alexan, since the first visit I made when I was looking at options and we were assisted by Ms. Shanelle who gave us a personalized tour and then the rest of the staff has always been very attentive and shown a lot of empathy and sensitivity to my approaches. I also want to thank the remaining fabulous team Wes, Nicole, and Maintenance: Silvia, Osman, Joel and Doug. You make a big difference
