I have lived on this property for almost 2 years. I have not had any complaints on the property or their staff. I was skeptical at first about living on an older property. But the inside of the apartment was remodeled and bedrooms were huge. To be honest the big bedrooms are what sold me on living here since I have bulky bedroom furniture. The office staff Elizabeth and Rosa are amazing. They are very helpful and always giving out good vibes. I have not meet office people like this before. The 1st year that I lived on this property my a/c unit wasnt working correctly and it was after business hours. So, of course I called the office. The maintenance staff Reyes and Louis responded promptly to my call at 11pm on Saturday and fixed the issue within 1 hour. I really didnt expect a call back that fast or even the issue to be fixed either but I was wrong. The maintenance staff are professional and friendly. I enjoy living at this property. Thanks to all the staff here for making my experience living here a good one!

I’ve lived at the property for 4 years, after new management took over things finally started getting done! They’re super quick about helping with any maintenance issues and the front office staff is super nice and helpful

I just signed a 15 month contract and I am so thrilled I did, Jesica helped me through the application process and made this so easy and simple, she was very kind and patient with me and I appreciate her effort and guidance.

Jose in the office is so helpful! This is my first apartment so I had so many questions. He was always available to answer any of my questions and concerns. Ive lived here about 3 months now and any time I need assistance or maintenance, he makes sure to get it done fast and checks in afterward.The complex in general is so close to the city, right by 35, and definitely worth the price that I pay. They maintain the breezeways, keep the common areas clean and send emails for rent reminders and mass maintenance updates.

I would like to speak on my experience I’ve lived here for going on a year! I’ve had no major issues or complaints! I especially want to give. Huge shout out to the maintenance guy, Lewis he always goes above and beyond every time I’ve needed help!! I’ve also never had a problem with roaches or any kind of bugs! So I disagree with some of the comments I’ve read! But not my business.. thanks to the entire team I’m Office as well

The office staff are really helpful and polite. The apartments a basically move in ready they are very clean. The maintenance staff are very helpful and when you put in a work order it is taken care of within 24 - 48 hours.The only downside to the community is it isnt gated so anyone can come in a dump trash near the dumpsters leaving it extremely messy and the dog waste that isnt picked up by dog owners.

After reading the reviews listed here I felt I needed to share my own. We have lived here for almost two full years and might be staying longer. Saw a few reviews of cars getting broken into saying the office just dont care. This couldnt be farther from the truth, but really something they cant really help with other than putting more security. Our car was broken into on this property, as well as other places we have lived. This can take place no matter where you live or park, this dose not reflect any lack of caring from the office in this matter.In the time frame we have lived here we have had only two issue with our apartment. Or ac went out after about a year and our oven stopped working a few moths after. Both issues were fixed the same day they were reported. The maintenance staff is just as nice as theyre good at their jobs.My wife loves the office staff!!! She visits them one or two times a day to get coffee. The office staff is as nice as they can be to her, not to mention all the cool stuff they do in the office for us residents.I dont really like living in apartments, but the nice people in my building, maintenance, and office staff make it really hard to want to leave...The only way they could make things better here is to make sure they dont change a thing.

Ive been here a year and the management is awesome!!! Jessica, Elizabeth, Rose, Lewis, Reyes,Augustina are great people, very professional, and anything you need done they are on it. I just love my apartment and my 3rd floor balcony. And theres a teansit bus stop,convenience store and grocery store right across the street!!!

Just Signed another Year lease, nice neighbors and the office staff are very attentive and interactive when it comes to holidays. People are complaining about water shutoffs but people dont realize that almost every Apartment complex in Austin experienced Pipe bursts during the Freeze in late Feb 2020 and they notify us via Email days in advance when they have to work on replacing them. Ive never had any issues here i highly recommend these apartments!

Im writing this review because Jose is the bomb! Honestly one of the best experiences applying for an apartment. Hes so hospitable and professional. He helped my mom get an apartment, and answered all her questions so patiently. He also speaks Spanish which made the process so much easier! Jose is a great asset to their leasing team.

I love living at Stassney woods as my first apartment complex. Management is great, Maintanence is quick to respond or communicate if there’s a delay, and Jose in the office is always so friendly and quick to assist. Definitely recommend this place to any first time renter!

Jose Vasquez in the leasing office was very friendly and amazing throughout our whole leasing process! He even gave/made us a sweet welcome home basket the day we received our keys from him.We also made a maintenance request, they came and fixed it the very next day.Our experience with Stassney Woods has been great thus far!

Office staff and maintenance are the best. Friendly and helpful! Buildings are old and corporate office needs to fix laundry rooms so they can actually be used! Nice neighbors and quiet surroundings. Very nice.

Maintenance is there to fix yourproblem same day or next day. They dont have breed restrictions. Officer ppl are nice. They always give you heads up on stuff being worked on like if water gonna be shut off for lil bit. You can bbq! (Not on your patio of course... please dont do that lol)Cons: how they told us to fill the laundry card seemed too much lol I just somewhere else... Im cool with that. Though if you do use them, they arent far to walk to.....I cant think of much else.... its a nice simple place to live. Ive seen comments about bugs and its true I see some escape every now and then but pest control does definitely come around. We just gotta remember we live in apt so we will see them no matter what. They know how to escape death lol.The big one bed is very spacious, I still have areas or shelves that are ready to be filled. I love how big my kitchen is. Patio wall is alil short... worry big dog can jump over one day... but patio not bad size either. Wish the dog area had a fence but happy there is an area period lol. They have dog bag stands all over the place which is good :)

At Stassney Woods Apartments I received the highest level of customer care and the crew that does mainetence is world class. The staff in the main office are really nice and helpful. I see a lot of bad reviews here but I know while living here I was truly cared for.People leaving bad reviews don’t realize this is south Austin on the east side right offI -35. You get the bang for your buck here to make the price of monthly living completely worth it. It’s 10 minutes from downtown and a $10 Uber will get you there. I am very thankful to all the staff at Stassney Woods you all were awesome!

I am very thankful for the help that Jose gave in helping my daughter obtain her first place. He helped explain every form to her and made sure that any questions that she may have were either answered or he went above and beyond to find they answer. He took his time and explained everything and was very friendly. That guy is AWESOME!!!

We have been here since March 2018. The staff and management have been very helpful and friendly. We have not had any issues. They keep us updated on any maintenance that will be done. They also make little events for the residents. Which is very nice of them.
