Such a well kept complex and friendly management. The grounds are well kept as is the pool. They even have a new dog park with a BBQ pit, benches and tables. Right next to the dog park is the little gym so you can work out. The pool and gym are locked at all times for security. The property is fenced in and has a security gate.

I love living at St. James. Older apartments, but well-maintained, and beautiful shady grounds. Nice pool. Friendly and professional office staff. Mostly a quiet place. We almost never hear anything from our neighbors through the walls or floor (we live on the third floor). Well insulated. Air conditioning works great! Maintenance staff are very responsive and friendly. Wish there was stronger water pressure, but otherwise no complaints! Definitely recommend.

I’ve lived here for 5 years. Rose is an excellent manager. She has been helpful, kind, and willing to make sure my needs were taken care of. Yes the apartments are a bit older but they are well cared for. Anytime I had any issues, maintenance was quick to respond. It’s a very quiet neighborhood and the gates add an extra security measure. Over all my experience here has been a good one. Moving out was a tough decision because i loved it here but it was time for a house.

After a horrible experience at Southwest Properties, I was very narrow minded about ever renting another apartment. I had never rented before and was taken advantage of. However, I applied here at St. James and Im currently renting. Ive only been here 2 weeks. My husband and I saw the apartment before committing it was in excellent condition. Management here is superior! They took the time to listen to my concerns (because of my bad experience at the other facility) and made me feel at ease. They answered all my question and were very patient with me. What I love most is they urge their clients to call with any issues so they can resolve it. Im very happy with my decision to move here. The property is well kept and I love the fact that it is gated. I highly recommend St.James apartments.

Quiet, safe, and affordable. This apartment complex is well worth the price that each apartment demands.The complex is always being maintained by the staff and if a problem arises, they are fast to repair the problem at hand.There are 2 pools located in the site as well as a gym for apartment members {an additional 10 a month}.Policies may be strict, but I have never had to hear cops / loud music / obnoxious neighbors while I resided here.

I have nothing but good things to say about renting there at the apartment complex. I remember 3 years ago my family had lost our house and I had became homeless for a while, a friend recommended them to me and i showed up. Needless to say they worked with me and helped me out as much as they could. They really are very good people. As long as I live in Harlingen I will rent at St. James. Everything is up to date, and they keep the place clean at all times.

I love when a bad thing turns good as a matter a fact Iove it more when god rushes in to fix a disagreement between 2 brothers in Christ. I have lived at St James apts for 4 years and the staff has always been plesant and very responsive to any of our needs . I did have a disagreement with the new manager .I just think she needs more training in how to handle situations shes got some big shoes to fill.The last manager was very kind and humble her staff loved her and her husband . Ive spoken to some tenants and they all say the same thing it isnt the staff its the new managment one lady said she had been here 30 years and is very saddend by the change . Nevertheless a change can still happed and people can still turn a new leaf. I have faith and Belief that she can with more training. All aside from the management St. James apt is a great place to live at the lowest possible cost of living .Nowhere elese can you find the cleanliness, security, and immediate response to your maintence needs . Great place for a families and professionals. My kids grew up here. We always had great neighbors. A pastor,a nurse, a professor, a DPS trooper! Plus landladies are sweet!

The only thing that is hard to get in the St James Apartments is parking. At times I have to walk a long way with kids and groceries. Everything else is great.

Spoke to the office manager. She is very informed on all aspects of the complex. She is professional yet caring & concerned about all her tenants and their needs. The grounds are very well maintained.
