Lived here for 2 years. Great location and was very happy with my unit, 2 bed 2 bath. Didnt have any major issues but when things did need to be fixed maintenance requests were fulfilled quick. Front office girls were always helpful as well. Id recommend this place!

From our very first tour, she listened to our needs and presented options that led us to our dream apartment. But what truly sets her apart is that her support didnt stop at move-in. Over these two months, Mariah has continually gone above and beyond—promptly addressing any questions, concerns, or requests we had, ensuring our living experience remains smooth and stress-free. We wholeheartedly recommend The MUSE at SoCo, and especially Mariah, to anyone seeking not just a place to live, but a truly supportive leasing experience.Sarah, in the office, has also been the most pleasant breath of fresh air throughout us living here. She has also been extremely helpful with anything we have needed. Definitely recommend either if you need a 5-star experience.

I’ve been living at the Muse for a year and I absolutely love the area, community, and living experience here. Mariah and Sarah at the leasing office have been awesome to say the least. I lived at the Muse and it was a fantastic experience as my first year in Austin. The amenities are great and now missed in my new location. Additionally, the staff is very helpful and is always willing to resolve any and all issues I had while living there. In particular, Mariah was a huge help throughout any difficulties I was having and has been so friendly during my time there. Mariah listened to our concerns and wishes and acted on them, providing a solution quickly. She is the best.

If you are looking for great location where you can walk to places, this would be good.Again, if it wasn’t for Mariah, I wouldn’t have loved my lease here as much. The apartment is really nice and convenient to everything. Beds are comfortable. My family was down for Austin City limits. The place is clean. I did notice there was one vent which looked like it had mold on it. They took care of it right away. Bathrooms are big. Only complaint is that at the time there was construction on a new building right next door. It was loud all day.

I moved to Austin within 5 days of receiving a new job. Mariah helped me view the unit remotely, quickly processed my application. My movers and I arrived on the first day of a major ice storm, everything was closed, but Mariah even came in during the the storm that shut the city down to make sure I could get settled before I started my new job. She truly went above and beyond to help me get into the apartment and settled.The location is great!

The team at The Muse are always very caring and responsive. Sara and Mariah are always available, friendly, and helpful if theres a problem. The maintenance guys are also great! They are quick to take care of any problem well and always leave my home with the problem fixed and no sign of mess. In fact, Ethan came by to fix my sink and helpfully offered to fix another problem I hadnt even mentioned in my bathroom. Its great to live somewhere where everyone cares about what they do and care about the people who live there. Thanks!!!

Overall our choice was based on availability, location and cost.Location is 5 stars.Availability- we got lucky. The office staff worked very hard to help us find a unit and kept communications open with us throughout the process.Cost is 4 stars for us. This is Austin after all. If you want to live downtown your gonna have to pay.So far all our needs and concerns have been taken care of by the Office and Maintenance staff.I have had contact with the majority of the staff. They are helpful, considerate and professional.Glad to be here.

Ive lived here for a while, and I love it here. The location cant be beat, and the staff is amazing and really helpful. Leticia especially is the best. Also, the head maintenance guy, Chris, hes amazing too! I had a small leak in my sink, and a problem with my air conditioning. He is super knowledgeable about all things fix it, and even more importantly a great communicator and very responsive about getting things done quickly, and worked around my work schedule. Without my even asking for it, he even brought a portable air conditioner to keep things cool in the short period before it was permanently fixed. Its the crew here, that really makes this place special!

The first thing youll notice about this place is its location, and what a location it is. Pretty much smack dab in the heart of south Austin, you cant really ask for a better spot. Leaving your apartment you can go pretty much any direction and find something to do; SoCo to the south, the green belt to the west, downtown to the north, and the east side, well to the east. As for the facilities itself the apts are quite nice, I have a third floor so I have a nice high ceiling, really adds to the space and the breathing room in your place. Each place has nice storage and good appliances so that is taken care of. If something is wrong you get the pleasure of the best maintenance crew Ive ever dealt with. When I first moved in I had a problem with my AC, and within a day it was taken care of. The office staff is quite nice as well. Ive never left with a problem unsolved, or a promise to take care of it that is quickly fulfilled. On top of that Ive never seen and apt complex with more convenient office hours. They are there 7 days a week, and some nice hours to boot. All in all if you make City View your home, I know you wont be disappointed.

Original Review: A friend and I moved in a few weeks ago and so far, so awesome. The roommate plan is perfect for us because the bedroom sizes are equal and each with their own bathroom. Also, the common living spaces are huge & open with great views. The location + affordability combo cannot be beat. You are within walking distance of both SoCo and Downtown!!!!! As for the management team, Laura & Jen are highly responsive and accommodating - very sweet to work with. Id recommend this complex to anyone looking.

This Muse is an amazing place to live. Courtney and Luciana are so great to have in our office providing 5 star resident service, as well as hosting awesome community events (with booze). The Muse is hands down the best community I have ever lived in the 8 years Ive lived in Austin.

Ive stayed in many an apartment complex but Cityview really is the best of the lot and Im very sad to be leaving. The facilities are great, the gym provided me with everything I needed to keep in shape (for the first 2 months anyway!) the pool was always clean, with a good atmosphere. The neighbours were all awesome, and the girls in the office are always smiling and friendly and were there to accommodate any thing I needed. Would be staying in the complex were it not for me relocating. Hope I find a complex as good as this in the future as Cityview have certainly set the standard! Would recommend to anyone! Thanks for making my stay fun!

Lived here for 2.5 years- had a great experience. Bit of a loud garage with motorcycles and such, but hey, its South Congress. As to be expected. I lived here as it went through an ownership change from Connor Properties to Roscoe. I think the transition was pretty great (although who knows where that security deposit went!). Courtney Riegler, who works in the office, is an absolute professional. Her communication and kindness made my stay at CityView seem like home. Overall, Id recommend this place if youre looking for great value and great location.

There is no better place to live in Austin.You are 10 minute walking distance to downtown. I walk to work everyday and it takes me no time. You have access to all the shops, restaurants, and events on South Congress. The pool is a blast during the summer. The staff is awesome if you have a problem with the apartment. I have lived/live in both a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom apartment and all are great! Most importantly, the staff inside is absolutely awesome. I was moving from Phoenix to Austin and needed to find a roommate to live in a 2 bedroom and they helped me find a roommate in no time. They throw parties for their residents every so often and are pleasant people to talk to.I am very happy with my decision living here.

The location cant be beat! Only steps away from Downtown, The Lady Bird Lake Trail, shops on SoCo etc. There are great things and not so great things when living in a apartment complex - but we only have great things to say about Cityview at SoCo. The staff - not only they are really great people but they always go above and beyond! Jen and Laura has made stopping by the office to get my never ending packages a sweet trip. They are very accommodating and always with a warm smile on their faces. Oh never forget about Rhett and the crew - they are always there to make sure things get done! Its bittersweet we are relocating too soon to a new city but we know if we are to come back to Austin, Cityview at SoCo will be our first place to see again.

Ive lived here for about 5 months and have nothing negative to say about it overall. The girls up front are kind and cordial. Have helped me anytime Ive needed it. Danny and the boys have fixed every issue weve had with the apartment unit quickly and professionally. They replaced all of our appliances with brand new stainless steel ones and they had it done in one day. Is it noisy at times, yes. But its downtown living and CityView is a great place to call home. Service, maintainence, location, and amenities are all thumbs up.

I have lived at Cityview for 4 years now. The location, of course, makes it pricey but you do get what you pay for. And it is more affordable than anything else in the area that is this nice.It is a 20 minute walk from 6th street, 5 minutes from the lake, and has easy access to MoPac and the Interstate.The staff and maintenance are friendly and quick to respond. More so than any apartment I have ever inhabited. I always feel welcome at the office. They have bent over backwards to accommodate the needs of the residents. This is what has kept me renewing my lease every year. The folks working here really do make the difference between just having a unit here and being a valued guest.

Cityview is a great place to live. Youre a stones throw away from the city and right in the heart of the Soco night life. With updated apartments and more renovations happening daily, it cant be beat. The ladies in the office are awesome. Laura, Natalie & Miranda are always on point and eager to help in any way possible. Rhett & Danny from maintenance are fast and reliable. I would recommend Cityview to anyone looking.

Having worked at an apartment complex in the past, I like to think I now have higher expectations for the level of service I should receive, and can certainly tell if/when Im getting the runaround. Ive lived at this particular property for three years, and moved in when it was Camden initially. From an outsiders perspective, the internal transition from Camden to Cityview could have been smoother, and perhaps youve heard that from others as well, but I think the same thing could have happened regardless of which property I was living.The reason Im still at Cityview and continue to speak highly of it is because of the way Im treated there by the staff. Unlike most complexes where the extent of your relationship with them is purely transactional (thank you for your rent check #fakesmile), the whole Cityview team from the office manager to the newest maintenance guy are all super friendly and helpful. Of course Ive had various maintenance requests and things to be fixed over the past two years here (good luck finding an apartment complex where you wont), but they were almost always handled quickly and up to my standards...Ive never felt like a maintenance job was half-assed.If its something youre into, the resident parties and summertime festivities are a lot of fun and are a great way to meet other Austin transplants from all over. One of the best reasons for living at Cityview though is the location...jeez it is awesome! Its right down the street from several great restaurants and stores, and its super easy to grab a cheap uber/left ride downtown. If youd rather walk downtown and use that $6 dollars to buy me a round in appreciation for referring you to Cityview, then that works for me too.I hope you get to share in the experience Ive had here, and maybe Ill see ya around.

CityView at SoCo is the ideal place to live in Austin if you are looking for a young and fun atmosphere. With unique restaurants, bars, and shopping options right on your street and Zilker Park and downtown within reach, you get some of the best experiences Austin has to offer.Saturdays are always happening at the newly updated pool. The high ceilings in each complex are a definite plus too. I love coming home to CityView everyday!The staff is super friendly and proactive. Kayla is especially awesome. When I had issues at my previous apartment, she went above and beyond to help me transition quickly. Within a few days, I was able to settle into an apartment she expedited the move-in date for. I couldnt imagine enjoying living elsewhere!

I recently moved into Cityview at Soco. The move-in process was a breeze and I was able to coordinate with the front office (shout out to Sara) to receive several large packages that contained items I was furnishing my apartment with.Only downside was having a few things that had to be fixed after move-in. The biggest items were the thermostat not working correctly and the ice-maker in the refrigerator not working. The AC was fixed immediately and still waiting on some help with the ice-maker. Heads up that there are extra fees on top of rent (general utilities fees, cable, valet trash) that, when incorporated into rent bump the amount near actual market rates.

I live at City View at SoCo with roommates. Everyone in the office is pretty friendly, and they always say hi when I walk through for a package. The best thing is being able to walk to Downtown and SoCo bars without having to drive. I would suggest this place as it is very comparable in price to the rest, but location is key here.

Epitome of excellent living! The Amenities are incredibly convenient and Megan, Jenn, as well as the rest of the staff are always entertaining and helpful. The prime location makes it an easy decision to renew my lease to continue living happily and comfortably.

In my opinion this is the best choice for walking distance to downtown. Also in a great location in the middle of South Congress shops, bars, and restaurants. Apartments are new, clean, and have high ceilings. Super friendly and helpful office staff. Nice pool with big screen outdoor TVs.

Cant beat the location. The complex is tucked away so you can enjoy a more quiet and peaceful environment while still living on one of the busiest and most happening streets in Austin. The leasing staff are incredibly friendly and always responsive to anything we need.

I had an important package get lost so I went down to the leasing office and spoke with Alex. She did everything she could to help me and found my package! Stolen/missing packages were a HUGE problem at my last apartment complex, but the Muse does everything they can to help residents find packages! Never lived anywhere else that put down what they were doing to help me.

Love our apartment. It’s a great location. Love how it’s newly renovated and is not an enclosed apartment. Love the amenities. Maintenance crew is really nice and people at the front desk are really nice.

I just left city view after five years, and enjoyed it greatly. Frankly I think I just hit and age and lifestyle where I outgrew it. Therefore some of the things I may find negative, you may find positive.PRO: location, you can walk to downtown, Town Lake, the trails, Zilker, the list goes on and on.The apartments are roomy and well appointed. I had one of the older units and wouldnt have changed a thing. The units are getting updated as people move out, and theyre really becoming ultra-modern, on par with anything in Austin.The pool area is lush and beautiful, for being in the city core. Its got a real resort feel to it.PRO or CON: The pool area is party central on weekends. Sunday morning it often looks like a bar on 6th street, after closing. Its not uncommon to have a DJ or loud music Saturday afternoons, and that sound will travel into your unit. For me, a problem. But if youre younger, probably a pro. Some Saturdays there is literally no room for one more person to get in the pool.Its a party building. People will be coming home, sometimes loudly, at 2am, and Ive seen people still partying when I leave for work at 6am on Saturday mornings. Again, your age will determine how you judge this one.CON: guest parking. Its nonexistent on weekends. They say they tow, but Ive never seen it. Theres nowhere near enough spots. Ive seen people park in the north surface lot, get out of their car, and start walking up Congress. One person, with a resident parking sticker, was taking up a guest spot for over six months, even after I reported it. oh hell be towed, I was told. Six months later, he was still there.Trash. Depending on your unit, you will be walking by huge bags of trash and beer cans, outside of units, getting from the garage to your apartment. Its embarrassing when youre walking guests to your apartment from the garage.Hidden charges. As others have indicated, there are many small charges which add up. I was told this is common in Austin, but my new apartment complex doesnt have common electric and the other charges, not included in your rent.Anyway, its still four stars from me. Location, (the picture was the view from my living room) is everything if you want to live here, and you wont find better.
