Great place to live, the new Manager Loretta is the best! Ashley was also a wonderful friend in the front office. The apartments have hardwood on all levels, my floor plan is amazing! Feels safe and secure with it being a small community, and everyone has their own parking spot-pretty rare for Midtown-Downtown apartment communities. My neighbors are beyond friendly, the atmosphere in the place is just great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great rate and experience, wanting to feel at home in a small personal community!

I am a new resident at this property and I can say that I was extremely excited to move in after my experience with Ashley Walker. From day one she was inviting, patient, sweet and most helpful in all questions and navigating our requirements and interests. Her energy is in deep contrast with the actual property manger Geo who was quite abrasive, short, unwelcoming, and much less informative. This has me weary of what my experience will be living on this property if that’s the energy I am expected to be approached with in dealing with a property manager vs the Assistant Property manager that seems to have all the experience.

I am impressed with the continued customer service of Ms. York, the property manager. From the initial contact I made until move in, she has been the absolute best! My unit was made available quickly and ready to move in sooner than I expected, they offer free coffee, daily fresh cookies, trash pick up, and more. I love my new apartment and how quiet it is. It really seems like a private little secluded haven, especially since its so close to the freeway and downtown. The residents are friendly as well.

I have lived at Midtown Grove for over 2 years now and have had a wonderful experience. Management is attentive and helpful, the building is clean and well maintained. We resigned a 2 year lease we like it so much. Our apartment is the perfect size and we have an incredible view of downtown! Loretta, the new manager is kind and helpful, she remembered my name and always says hello. Rockstar management company is doing a wonderful job.

We wanted to find a great reasonably priced location in midtown with quick access to freeways and Midtown Grove was perfect. We moved in late September and have been very happy here. The apartment has granite counter tops, updated kitchen appliances, hardwood floors and large spacious rooms. The property has a great small community feel with exercise facility, business center, pool and grill area. It is managed by Rockstar Capital and all of the staff has been great, including our new property manager Loretta who has been super nice and more than helpful in assisting us with anything we need. We are looking forward to a great first year at Midtown Grove.

My brother and I have been living here for roughly 6 months and really enjoy the location and how nice the apartments are for the price ! This complex is very close to all the action in Midtown. Hard wood floors, high ceilings, new appliances, secure gates and cameras for added safety. This complex is smaller and EXTREMELY dog friendly!!Recently we had a new office manager take over and I must say Shamarilyn has been doing such an amazing job. Shes very professional and really has brightened up the office :) She always makes us feel welcome and has a treat ready when my girlfriend brings our dog over for a visit !! Im very happy with how things are being done around here, so come and check the property out !!

I have lived here for 3 years and I love the way the Rockstar management maintains property. Its clean, modern and it is located in great area. The staff is very courteous and respectful especially Loretta. She is very knowledgeable about the area and has guided me to any service I needed. ( I mean dry cleaning, parks, bars, w/e you need). I have recommended this apartment to 3 of friends and they still here, and I would highly recommend to anyone. You will love it :)

I have lived at Midtown Grove since July 2020 and so far I am loving it here! I appreciate that maintenance is quick to respond. Ashley at the leasing office is also a joy and is responsive to any questions I may have. I like the assigned parking and security gates. I also appreciate the valet trash pick up. I havent had any problems with recieving packages! My only complaint is the fitness center needs an upgrade on equipment and it is a small room. Otherwise I love it here!

This property is so beautiful and very well maintained. I can’t imagine moving anywhere else anytime soon because of the convenient location, especially with the friendly, helpful, and efficient office and maintenance team! Heck, even my little puppy loves Midtown Grove! So far I’ve been happy living here 😃.

Living at Midtown Grove has been a wonderful experience since Mrs. York has been the manager. Shes very attentive to all the residents and we all know we matter to her. She always has a smile on her face and greets everyone that walks through the front door with a genuine welcome. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a new home to consider living here. The customer service and maintenance response time here is no doubt a 10!

Great location in Midtown near everything. I really loved that is very small and feels quiet and homie. The leasing guy was so friendly and welcoming! Enjoyed my tour at the apartments and if everything works out with my job transfer then I will be leasing here.

I have lived here for 1 1/2 years and it feels like home. I have the nicest neighbors. It was easy to meet people and Ashley and Alex (office) are always so friendly and willing to help me out whenever I have a question or request. I like living in a smaller community versus large apartment buildings. It is a boutique apartment building, which gives you the most personalized service. Everyone knows your name and your dogs name! My Bully, Archer, has made some friends here too and there is plenty of open space to walk and play with your doggies, if you have them. The neighborhood is pretty clean and great location to Midtown or Downtown jobs as well as direct access on the 45 and 59. I am very happy here and look forward to staying here much longer!!

Edit: I am updating this review (and bumping up the rating) after moving out. I still stand by my prior review below, but in hindsight I think that it is unfair for me to make assumptions on the rest of the residents and on the management based upon my own bad luck with a neighbor. Yes, it was an extremely unfortunate situation, but I do believe that Ashley Walker, the manager, did everything in her power to help. She definitely deserves praise for how she manages the property and her willingness to help with any and every issue. Overall, I think without the specific issue with a neighbor that I had, I would have enjoyed living here. It has its other pros and cons, but for the price and location, it is a good place to live.-----I have been living here for 10 months and cant wait to leave.Ill say up front that the on-site management (Ashley) has been very good in most interactions, but the negatives of this place far outweigh any positives.The main issues for me have been the noise and the overwhelming stench of weed permeating the building.The noise:Not road noise from the highways nearby, that is actually not bad at all. The problem is the noise from other tenants. The walls are paper thin, and one bad neighbor will pretty much ruin any chance of peace youll ever have (as is the case for me). Any hour of any day, I can hear marching band music (??), rap music, movies, you name it. It drowns out any low-volume TV i might try to watch, makes reading distraction-free impossible, makes it IMPOSSIBLE to ever work from home, and just generally kills the mood for me.The smell:The first floor hallways constantly stink, which might be bearable if not for the fact that it constantly seeps into my apartment. I recently returned from a week long vacation and almost gagged when I opened my apartment door and walked in. I had to run the vent fans in the kitchen and bathroom and crack the windows open to let it dissipate. This has pretty much been the norm for the majority of the last 10 months.As I sit and type this review, theres a constant thumping beat pervading my apartment thats been going for hours now, coupled with the ever-present skunky smell of weed. Oh joy. Only consolation for me right now is that Im gone in 2 months.

Working with Shamarilyn has been a pleasure. Through all dealings she has had a positive attitude and made every effort to work expeditiously. I have witnessed her project a bright shining smile to everyone she comes across particularly current residents.Midtown groves is a clean and tidy place to live. Although short on parking, modern fixtures and great location compensate well. The extreme friendlineas towards dogs is my favorite aspect.I would be happy to live there. Although I presently do not.

I am relocating to Houston in the very near future and in my search, I happen to stumble on Mid Town Grove in Houston, TX. My daughter and I did not have an appointment, but decided to pay a brief visit. When we pulled up, both my daughter and I were impressed with the curb appeal and the overall nature near the property. We were assisted by Loretta, who was very friendly (not just us but to everyone, who came in contact with her), relatable, and knowledgeable. The fact that we did not have an appointment had no bearing on the service we received!! In fact, she gave a tour of the building and the staged apartment, which was beautiful!! Loretta is a great representation of MidTown Grove property!!

My fiancee and I just moved in to Midtown Grove last week. So, far everything has been good! Appliances all seem to work well, large fridge, and the unit definitely looks and feels great. Location is good (my fiancee and I went to a weekday evening Astros game and it was a breeze getting there and back). Granted it has been such a short time, but we have had no notable issues yet. (I will try to update as we live here longer though). In the meantime, I have to say that the best part of this apartment complex is the management!One of the main reasons that we decided to tour this facility were the reviews of management, specifically Shamarilyn York. And let me tell you, when we went to have our tour with Shamarilyn, it was obvious and apparent that these reviews were absolutely true! She answered all our questions (and I can come up with a lot of questions) completely and honestly, was very kind, accommodating, and courteous, and was just very genuine. After seeing the complex we were immediately sold! And signed very soon after.Since signing, Shamarilyn has been extremely helpful. The corporate office actually decided to close the office for Good Friday (our move in day), but Shamarilyn worked with me and showed up to answer all my questions and get me my keys anyways. There was a very small mixup with our car parking situation but that got cleared up with no problems whatsoever; I did not even really have to ask about it; it was just taken care of. And Shamarilyn took time immediately the next day she was in the office to help me with my parking lot gate fob that did not seem to be working, and we were able to reach a solution that morning.All in all, this is a nice complex so far, meets all of our needs. And I can rest easy that we have good, friendly, helpful management that we can trust to go above and beyond. Very excited for our time here at Midtown Grove.

Im a new tenant at Midtown Grove Apartments, and I have to say that Im loving everything about them. From living in your contemporary outdoor style apartments (climbing stairs, fighting the elements, etc.) it is a refreshing change to have an indoor focused property.At first I was a little dismayed when I learned hat my unit would be on the 3rd floor (as has been the standard for EVERY apartment Ive lived in) until I was shown the ELEVATOR! The universe has been listening lol.The apartment itself is very nice with wonderful hardwood floors and a calming color scheme with a view of the city. Location is great being right off of 288 and 59 (Im a commuter, so this is ideal) and right around the corner from a host of attractions.And last but not least, the property manager, Ms. Shamarilyn is WONDERFUL! Shes personable, helpful, and bursting with charm. She has been the only property manager Ive met to know who you are by voice! Let me tell you, I used to work in sales and that is no common feat!All in all, Im glad that I chose to live at Midtown, and Im sure you will too!

She took my friend on a tour of the apartment as I live out of state, and when I called to inquire she knew exactly who I was. Her excitement about the property and the apartment heightened my excitement that much more. She delivered exceptional customer service.

The manager Loretta was very informative and was great with informing me of my leasing options and insight on apartment arrangements. First let me say that Midtown Grove are some dope apartments and may I add that I Love the property managerMs. Shamarilyn. She is so humble and full of life. She makes sure that everything here is taken care of and always ensure us that we are safe and have no worries. I love it here. Shamarilyn KNOWS ALL HER RESDIENTS BY NAME including the pets!

A new owner and management company took over the operation of the complex Oct. 4, 2014 They spruced up the exterior by pressure washing the entire building exterior, concrete, and even the wooden fence so everything looks fresh and new again. I even saw contractors repainting all the iron fencing with a fresh coat of paint, not only the perimeter gates, but all the balcony and patio railings, too.The new owners began upgrading all the apartments by removing all the original builder grade bath fixtures, kitchen sinks, and lighting and replacing them with higher quality ones so it looks more like what youd expect in a luxury apartment.I understand that they are upgrading to high efficiency LED lighting as well as adding 16 High Definition surveillance cameras. A much welcome addition. Im glad a new Sheriff is in town.

This is the third place I have lived in the 4 years I have been in Houston. I have learned that the location in this city can make such a huge difference. This place is Amazing! Is like staying in a boutique hotel. I know all the management and they know me. They fix everything immediately. They have guest appreciation events and happy hours each month. The place is clean and the keep the pool and BBQ area up as well. I love this place. Close to everything.

Im a resident here at Midtown Grove for almost a year and have enjoyed living on this property. I must say that seeing and having a new exciting manager in place makes the property goes a long ways. I have enjoyed meeting and speaking with Ms. Shamarilyn York on several occasions and I must say there hasnt been a disappointing time. She has been on duty and taking care of business the appropriate way and I look forward to being a future resident as long as she is here........Remember what I told you Ms. York about reaping.......If you looking for a pleasant place to stay stop by and check us out. Great Location.! All the staff I have met have been more than kind to me, customer service is great. The complex is always clean and very calm. Every morning I go down to the lobby to serve myself some great coffee they provide. Couldnt be any happier in a different location!

I love this place. The staff here is very professional. Sham, the property manger is very welcoming and always has a smile on her face.
