Overall the apartments are pretty nice. I like the location and the industrial feel (people who see it for the first time always think it’s cool too). I have had quite a few problems requiring me to submit work orders in my few months living here but they are always resolved in a reasonable amount of time i’ll admit. Except for the A/C. I’ve had to submit 4 different orders all for the same issue but it keeps happening. Chris and Isaac up front are super helpful though!Edit: Do not live here if you value your freedom. The parking garage on the bottom level (that all residents have to pass through as well) is also a public parking garage. Being next to 2 popular theatres, whenever a show lets out and all the attendees decide to leave at the same time, the bottom floor jams up and stops moving. So as a resident, should i choose to leave my apartment at any time on the weekends, there is a genuine chance that i simply cant. It has taken me 45+ minutes to leave before. -

Good morning beautiful people!! I am very disappointed 😞 that I didnt get approved for Mid Main loft because of my credit!!! I feel this is very wrong!!! I definitely make more than enough to pay my monthly rent!!!! Mid Main is a very beautiful place to live!!!!! Anyone looking for a place to live please check them out!!! As for Greystar please 🙏 please get rid of this credit score and history to get approved!!! I understand broken lease and evictions!!!! But someone not getting approval because of credit history and score is so wrong!!!! Credit score changes and someone credit score could be higher but the report has not been updated!!!! Again I really love Mid Main and hopefully Ill get a chance to live there!! -

I am so grateful for this apartment complex! The response time to any HVAC issues has been exceptional, making my living experience comfortable and stress-free. I work from home so the managements efficiency in addressing issues promptly truly set this place apart. Not for nothing, what truly changed my life is their willingness to hold my packages while I work from home, ensuring that I never miss a delivery. Its so simple but when Chris calls me and tells me hes holding my package I am happier than ever. My last apartment never kept the boxes inside and we would have things stolen often! -

I had a great experience moving into MidMain Lofts. The office staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the questions I had. My apartment upon move in was clean and ready for me to completely move in day of. All the amenities are clean and nice as well! 10/10 :) -

My company is based in California and they will be relocating in 2024 to Houston Texas. Scheduled a tour of one of the lofts with Isaac when I was in town. Throughout the tour, Isaac was professional and friendly. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was and answered all questions with great detail and information. I would like to thank him for his kindness and professionalism. Made me want to apply! It is with pleasure and confidence that I recommend getting a tour with Isaac and this property to anybody planning in moving to the Houston Area. -

I’ve lived here for over a year and I haven’t had many issues other than your typical “living off Main Street” issues you’re going to get anywhere living downtown. Really convenient positioning for all purposes. Plus the staff is very accommodating, anytime I have a question, Isaac and Cris are always more than happy to help me find a solution to any issues Im facing. -
Review 8 (2021-01-23 - Rating: 5)
Okay so I’ve waited a few months to give this property a review in order for it to be authentic, genuine and true as I’m a person who works in the apartment industry I find it extremely hard to find an apartment that I truly love because I’m very particular about a lot of things however, mid main has proven to be an EXCELLENT PROPERTY . My leasing agent Mia did an amazing job taking care of all the small details that I needed wrinkled out the property manager is really easy to talk to and does an amazing job at keeping the resident activities lively! Melvin the assistant works in silence but he does a great job at it, any problems you have he fixes them without hesitation and he does reach back out to you in a timely manner as I know the industry can be busy and overwhelming. The other leasing agent she always try to help in the best way possible and her attitude is ALWAYS ON POINT (along with Mia) all in all this is a great property also, I DO NOT have noise complaints all of my neighbors are friendly and considerate . I am extremely happy and comfortable that I chose Mid Main as my home great job guys ! -
Review 9 (2022-05-13 - Rating: 4)
I’ve lived here from Aug-May for school and honestly I’ve very much enjoyed my time here. Yes the elevators occasionally break down and the fire alarms sometimes go off but not as often as people are exaggerating in the reviews. It’s an annoying inconvenience, but nothing that would deter me from living here again. That’s a small con compared to all the pros like convenient location, good price, friendly community, amazon hub delivery, trash pick up, nice gym and pool amenities, good bar/restaurants down below and access to the metro. I didn’t have noisy neighbors, but that’s something to expect if you live in a complex with hundreds of other people. The maintenance guys are always helpful and get things fixed as quick as they can and management isn’t that bad. I loved my time here and if I happen to move back to Houston I’d consider living here again. -

Cris B. was outstanding!! His service was and is top notch. He made my stay at Mid Main very pleasant. Anything I would asked for or needed, Cris did not hesitate to accommodate me. Kris is more than a leasing agent, he now has a friend for life!! -
Review 11 (2022-08-24 - Rating: 5)
The management and leasing staff are incredible here!! This is RARE to find in any big apt complex in Houston and most cities, but the management staff here are top notch and care about every single person who lives here. As someone who has lived in apartments for nearly 20 years now, I am so grateful to have found this building. I have lived in this building for two summers temporarily, through an AirBnB-like company that does short-term leases, for a job and they treat my like a tenant! I dont even live here permanently and they are so helpful and kind with whatever I need when they dont have to be. Ive only ever had one non-urgent maintenance issue and it was fixed the next day. Every apartment complex will always have issues that are frustrating, but when the staff are good and care about tenants, it makes all the difference in the world. Thank you, Mid Main Lofts! -
Review 12 (2020-05-15 - Rating: 4)
Ive been here for about 6 month now. overall I think it is a good place to live, there are pros and cons to the place.Pros: location, next to metro rail(I live on the side facing Travis St so I do not hear the train, noise level is mainly of car traffic), pricing is competitive, the loft finishes are nice with the concrete floor and metal ceilings, large closet, glass showers, gym is pretty good size and clean, package lockers.cons: the air con is extremely loud, elevator is constantly broken (the one I use anyway, not sure about the other 2 elevators), Garage and stairwell is pretty dirty(doesnt seem like anyone cleans up the spilled food or drinks), the fourth floor with the dog park has really strong urine smell on hot days, no free parking for guests and you cant buzz them in, the finishes in the apartment does seem cheap. sometimes i have noticed homeless people sleeping/urinating on the second floor so i never park there anymore.Overall, I still enjoy my apartment and the convenience of the location it is in, as well as the price. Luckily my neighbors are not loud so I am grateful for that. I have not had to deal with management too much so I cannot comment on that. I have called maintenance a few times when I first moved in and they always came promptly, and they were all just minor issues. -

If this review helps you make a decision or you have questions contact me on instagram. We can split the referral pay ☺️ @lifeofadamPros:- staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve only had positive interactions thus far. For reference I’ve lived here now for 6 months.- price/location in my opinion this is the best value for your money considering the area. Are there nicer apartments in midtown, yes. However if you’re flexible on the listed cons then I think it’s worth it.- location speaks for itself easy access to the city, bars etc.- dog friendly and a lot of the residence have animals that mingle well if you have your own pet.Cons:- the building is open concept so walks between your apartment and other portions of the building are exposed to whatever weather is present.- the main elevator I use was down for about 2 months. There were other elevators working but during that interim I used the stairs. I’ve heard this was an issue in the past so just an FYI as I’m not sure how this will play out go forward.- the front door leading into the mail room occasionally gets stuck so you have to walk around to the other door. Not a huge deal more of an occasional inconvenience.- your next to the metro which is nice if you use that transportation. Only downside which isn’t a fault of the property just a fact is there are typically a good amount of homeless on the streets right outside of that side of the property.Overall:I think if you’re flexible with the mentioned cons it’s worth the money considering the pros. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have a question! -
Review 14 (2020-07-30 - Rating: 5)
I’m not sure why their are so many bad reviews. My girlfriend and I have lived here for a little over two years now. Yes, like any apartment complex there can be a couple of problems, but overall it’s a great place to live. The front desk is responsive and nice (shout out to Renee, Melvin, and Kristi), the apartments are very modern, and the area is great. Ur not going to find a better place to live for the money in the Midtown area. The style of the complex is very unique and open. Parking is secure, gym is solid, there’s a game room, pool, nice grills..I could go on.People really just like to complain about everything. Obviously do ur research before u pick an apartment and make sure the area works for you..but if you are looking to live in Midtown this is a great option! -
Review 15 (2018-05-21 - Rating: 5)
I have lived here for 10 months so far and love it. The location is really terrific in a very walkable neighborhood. I love the unique aesthetic of the concrete floors and exposed ceiling.Ive had no issues with management nor the apartment. No maintenance issues. No billing issues. Im a little surprised reading all the negative reviews so I wanted to weigh in as well.1. Mercury spill: The mercury spill had nothing to do with the complex. An idiot tenant spilled the stuff, improperly cleaned it up (dumped it down the trash chute) and hazmat needed to clean it up properly. It was one afternoon of inconvenience.2. Fire alarms: The fire alarms were going off frequently as part of the building was under construction and frequent testing was required. Construction has mostly finished and the fire alarm testing has stopped.3. The elevators: Again, while under construction, there was only 1 working elevator. There are now 2; one at each end of the building. The elevators are slow though.Hope this helps! -

I havent moved in yet, but I cant wait. The leasing staff are extremely nice. Ive been working with Haley and she is awesome. I will update this review once Ive moved in and amenities have been completed.**Update**After moving in, my fur baby has had a difficult time adjusting and has been having separation anxiety causing him to bark in the mornings when I leave. After working out some kinks with the leasing staff, we seem to be on the path to resolution. They have been very accommodating in helping me resolve this issue which most management companies would not do. I really love the area, and do love the design and feel of this community and hope it works out for the best. There are incredible views, if youre into that sort of thing like I am (especially from the 7th floor). Ive always wanted to live in a Greystar Community, and I know this place will be great once all the kinks of a brand new property are worked out. The only reason I am sticking with 4 stars for now is because the only amenity that is open is the pool. -

I have lived at Mid Main Lofts since March 2018 and its been great. Very nice complex and responsive staff, especially maintenance. The amenities are great and it is quite secure. Ive felt very safe since living here with the secure access entry and parking. The walkability to the Local Eats and Hot spots as well as the convenience of the Metro rail has been wonderful! -
Review 21 (2017-11-11 - Rating: 5)
The day I took a tour of this property, I immediately signed a lease. These are not only the most beautiful industrial apartments to live in, they also just so happen to have perfect location, a ton of handy 24 hour amenities, and all at a GREAT price for what you get. My primary contact when I did a walkthrough was the assistant manager. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the differences between each floor plan, was very upfront about the build out and what utilities were, and what the entire application process would entail. Probably the biggest plus for me being in midtown Houston, this property makes me feel really safe and secure. I would recommend MidMain to anyone, especially since they offer fantastic referral benefits and the entire office staff was super fun and sweet. I love MidMain!!! -
Review 22 (2018-12-30 - Rating: 5)
Ive lived in Mid Main since October 2018 and Ive loved living here so far. See below for more detail for the pros and cons for living in the apartment complex:Pros:- Location, location, location: This apartment is so close to restaurants and fun activities. I usually will walk over to Tacos A Go-Go, Winbern Mess Hall, Chipotle and a few Vietnamese restaurants within 5-10 minutes from the complex. This is right off 59/69, so its easy to hop on/off. Theres an HEB in Montrose which is about 7 minutes driving which is perfect.- Metro: I love that the train is right next to the complex. I head into the city every day for work, and its so convenient to pay $1.25 to head downtown and skip parking. I also head out to the Museum district and Hermann park a few times a month and this is the best way to get there.- Staff: The staff is super friendly to work with. I enjoy chatting with Kristi, Cole, and the others to see whats new and what upcoming events they have planned. They also give me great restaurant recommendations for when my girlfriend comes to visit since Im not from the area.- Packages: Getting packages delivered from Amazon is super easy as they have an Amazon Hub. No need to worry about someone stealing my packages or having to pick them up by a certain time. Bigger packages (like furniture) gets dropped off by the front office.- Apartment: I live in a 1/1 overlooking Winbern Food Hall and Breakfast Klub. I like the concrete floors, upgraded appliances, and size of the apartment. In terms of value, this is the best place I found after looking at 10-15 properties in Midtown. Every other place I visited was $300-500 more for essentially the same amenities- Garage: the resident parking is above the public parking and is gated, so Im a fan of that. Theres also garage security at night.- Residents: Everyone is generally super friendly.- Events: They usually have an event going on for the residents each month, which is fun. Theyve done block parties in the past, as well as a holiday party at Brass Tap recently.Cons:- Noise: Since I overlook Breakfast Klub and Winbern Mess Hall, it can get occasionally loud around 1am-2am on Friday/Saturday nights. This doesnt happen often, but Ive heard loud motorcycles, people yelling, etc. White noise machines are good here. I still enjoy this spot for the view.- Parking: For public parking at Mid-Main, youll have to pay the daily fare which can be up to $15 daily. However, as a resident, you can get your guests $5 passes for their stays. I generally have my friends park next to the church instead to save a few bucks.- Internet: They loop high-speed Internet for $50. Although this is a good price for Internet, I dont use the Internet as I tether through my phone. For most folks, I know this a good deal, though.Overall, I really enjoy living here and would be happy to re-sign. Id recommend this place! -
