She emailed me and sent messages and assisted me as needed. Nice apartment, very close to everything you need. I will highly recommend this apartment.

I normally dont leave reviews but I want to share my experience while living at Mckinney Village.Its a very nice complex especially for the price and the area. Sandra and her team have always taken care of us along with the maintenance team.If its in their power they will always go above and beyond for their residents. Only moved due to commute to new job.

We enjoy the feeling of being in a little resort. Pet people are friendly people. The unconditional love from our pets says it all.Im going to mention a fun time with your pets on a rainy day.Sitting in your cosey apartment I suggest watching a number of shows on YouTube: THE FARM...1) The puppy park, 2) the biggest dog pool party and 3) the one my wife best is ...taking your pet to the vet (pretty funny). Relaxing in your home with your pet watching tv. Living in McKinney Village as mentioned above has that resort atmosphere and also being in a great location. Enjoy THE FARM videos.

Without ever meeting face to face (due to time constraints and needing to find a new place in literally a couple days) Jasmine was a tremendous help with helping us getting everything taken care of from start to finish. Emailed her all and any questions I had regarding the application process as well as any other paperwork I needed before moving in. So really shoutout to Jasmine for making everything as smooth as possible and so sorry for asking so many questions lol! We are super grateful you helped us and we are happy with our new place! Also big shout out to maddie as well for making sure our move in was seamless. You won’t find these kind of people anywhere else so you should consider McKinney village:)

Things are over all pretty nice. We once had a towing service to control parking and they were very predatory…we voiced our concerns and our manager decided to cancel their services. With that move, I’m completely happy living here! Management does a lot to keep the complex looking good and well run. Another highlight is the maintenance department…they are so quick to respond and take care of us. I’ve been here for over 4 years and have been very satisfied with my decision to move here.

10-19-23Apparently theres a character limit so I cant leave the entire review. It should start here, if I cant type the whole thing.Sandra, the Property Manager, was nice & extremely understanding of everything we discussed with her & was happy to explain, in detail, what our move in requirements would be. She gave us the tour of the exact apartment wed be leasing. This, in itself, was already a huge plus as almost every apartment complex weve ever toured, never has the one we find online & want to look at ready. Coincidence? Maybe. Nonetheless, so far so good. We made it back to the office only to find out the office phones & internet were on the fritz. Sandra was so apologetic the entire time & never made us feel like we were contributing to any frustration she might be feeling. She helped as much as she could. We decided to leave knowing wed found the right place & went home to begin the application process. Unfortunately, whatever issues they were having werent allowing us to complete the application process & we couldnt call because their phones were still down too. We headed back for help. This happened 3 times throughout the day. Luckily, we only lived a few minutes away so, it wasnt too awful. The awful part was some of the issues we thought were resolved on our end werent which made everything 100 times more difficult. Well, heres the part Ive been coming to. Sandra did absolutely everything in her power all day to help us. She used her own phone to call & email people on our behalf. She prioritized us above everything else. Im a disabled person & things like this are difficult for me to handle, but she continued to do her best to help us & make sure I was ok. By the end of the day, it seemed as though the challenges we werent able to resolve before applying were going to prevent a move in regardless of the fact that with Sandras help & kindness it just didnt seem like it was going to happen for us. We left feeling defeated & scared we might not get a place before Sunday. Well, I cant remember if it was the next day or the next couple of days, but we got emails & calls from Sandra with the great news that we got approved. She went above & beyond for us from the moment we met & continued to do so until she got us approved to move in. She couldve easily gone on to the next applicant, someone without any issues, but she didnt. She helped us & we are so grateful. She is an absolute asset to her job position & to this apartment company. She is the epitome of perfect customer service from start to finish. Any future customer service training videos that might get made should have her starring in them because shes someone that a lot of people can learn from. Everything she did & said was genuine. Whomever in the company that reads these reviews please know that she deserves a raise or a fancy party, a high dollar gift certificate, something to show her shes being recognized. She deserves all of it & more. Id like to mention Amy as well. Shes also super sweet & nice & has helped us since we moved in. The leasing company also gets a thank you since it was ultimately their decision to give us a chance. Oh! Willie, the lead maintenance guy is also an absolute sweetheart. Hes always friendly & seemingly happy to be at work & thats always a good thing. We absolutely love our apartment, the neighborhood is great & all of our neighbors are super nice. My service dog has been a big hit with everyone & our grandkids love it here too & want to stay here every time they visit. Hopefully, well get to live here for a long time.

UPDATE: Entryways to the buildings are unkept. Spiders, wasps, frogs, beetles & all types of creepy crawlers lurking in every hallway. - ( PROPERTY MGR FIXED THIS) Hallways are dirty and office staff is rude. - (HALLWAYS COULD STILL USE SOME CLEANING BUT THE RUDE LEASING AGENT EITHER DOESNT WORK HERE ANYMORE OR CHANGED HER ATTITUDE) Towing company creeps around just waiting to tow people. One of my visitors got towed even though they registered their car. Come to find out they werent parked in the designated visitor space. Which is like 6 spaces if you live in the back- something I wasnt told upon moving in. - (PROPERTY MGR FIXED THIS). The actual apartment is nice and spacious but there are better places to live. I will not be renewing my lease. Hope this helps someone make a decision.***I ended up renewing my lease. The property manager has done a good job of addressing resident concerns. Maintenance staff is & has always been absolutely wonderful. I appreciate the effort the property manager has put into making these apartments better. Ill give it a 4 because the property manager seems to be continuously improving these apartments***

Amazing experience moving in, apartment is everything I hoped for, spacious, luxury appliances, fresh paint, clean, great price and very nice pool and fitness center (which no one is ever in). The staff is also amazing, very responsive and sweet. Im extremely glad we decided to move into Mckinney Village, Sandra made the move in smooth, and I couldnt ask for a better apartment.

The approval process was easy, the manager Sandra and leasing agent Jazmine were wonderful, super helpful and their communication is top tier. This is a wonderful place to live! Beautiful property, well built, great location, high quality interior, nice amenities, amazing staff. The whole package.My mom has lived here for over a year and its a nice mix of young professionals, seniors and families. Feels safe.Its a bit weird to find at first. Its not on the main road by the hospital although the front entrance is through there. Turn away from the hospital into the medical offices and office condos and look straight ahead. There is also access from Highway 5.

I lived here for over 2 years and I couldnt really ask for a much better suburban apartment. The construction of the building is solid concrete with excellent sound insulation. A very rare thing to see for an apartment of its size. Hats off to the developers who built it! The staff was very quick to respond to maintenance requests. And it was conveniently located next to plenty of medical facilities. The only complaint I have has to do with the washer and dryer in the apartment. They got the job done but were rather outdated. Especially the dryer, which I had to put at maximum heat for three cycles in a row just to get my cloaths dry. But that is the only complaint I have. Overall, I would highly recommend living here!

Living at the McKinney Village Apartments has been a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, very close to highway 75 and Sam Rayburn.The building is well-maintained, clean, and modern, with top-notch security features such as key fob entry and surveillance cameras throughout the common areas. The property managers Sandra and Emmy are very good and professional, and always available to address any concerns or questions. The maintenance team is quick to respond and fix anything as needed.The environment is very peaceful and they offer some onsite amenities which added significant value to my rental experience including a gym, clean pool, and a beautiful party hall for small events.Overall, I highly recommend McKinney Village Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable place to call home.

From the first interaction in our apartment search to anything we ever needed since we moved in 2 months ago, Sandra and her team have always been ready and available to assist with a sense of urgency that we really admire and appreciate. Any maintenance needs were taken care of right away. We have lived in many different apartment complexes and we have never experienced such friendly and available and approachable team and management, specifically Sandra the manager. Right away she knew our names every time she saw us, never treated us like just an apartment number. Anything we needed, she personally followed up on the issue and followed up with us via phone or email. Thank you so much!

Over all, the apartment if very nice…I think the rent is fair. Two problems that need to be improved on is the towing service and over all communication.They have a “virtual parking permit.” You register with the towing company and the apartment management office sends you an approval email. I accidentally reversed 2 letters on the license plate # I submitted. I was approved anyway and then I was towed because the number I submitted for my decal didn’t match the permit the towing company had. My bad. But the cost to get my car back was $400 plus a lot of unfriendly people at the tow yard to deal with. This is an extreme penalty for my mistake….Also, the communication is lacking. Right before Christmas, both buildings experienced water leaks during a freeze. The ear piercing alarm went off, we all gathered our pets and some gathered babies, young children and sick children. We were outside in the cold for 45 minutes until the alarm quit. We have yet to get a single email explaining what happened and what is being done about it. We heard about the water leaks being the cause through the grapevine.The maintenance department is top notch…they respond quickly and get the problem remedied.With all of this said I’ve been happy with everything else. Hopefully they are working to improve the above issues.Update: I originally had 3 stars for the towing service plus lack of communication. The manager saw my review and contacted me the very next day. She listened to my concerns and offered to make changes to rectify the situation. I really appreciated that personal touch. The manager is fairly new at this property and is working very hard to please the tenants. I really appreciated the call I got today from the manager, I am increasing my rating to 5 stars. I am hoping the towing situation improves.

My husband and I enjoyed living here. We rate the apartment complex very highly--especially the gym. We generally had very good experieces speaking with the majority of staff (Katie, Chelsea & Nichole for example)--who were kind and courteous. However, we did not have a positive experience with Marquita Mullins. We specifically worked with her during the application process and applied for / discussed a certain apartment layout but upon move in we unfortunately walked into an apartment that was not the layout applied for or discussed. This was very disappointing and frustrating, but Marquita told us there was nothing she could do. Next she put incorrect information on our parking passes, which would have lead to us being towed, but luckily I pressed to have the passes fixed (and even showed her how to fix them). Finally, we spoke with her upon move out and she informed us she had received the email we sent denoting where she could find our keys. Unsurprisingly, two weeks later I received a call stating that they had not received my keys. I quickly resolved the issue with another helpful employee. Every conversation with Marquita over the phone was marked with an apathetic, rude tone. But, I want to emphasize that every other experience at this apartment complex was positive.

Sandra has gone above and beyond any time I had a question help me and make sure what I needed to do was done right. We love it here. Me may not us the amenities but we didnt move in bc of those we looked at other things when we chose to move to Mckinney Village and it check all of the boxes plus some.

Great community !! The office staff is amazing and have been very helpful as the neighbors above me were extremely rude and obnoxious ! The courtesy officer is also amazing and handled the situation very quickly every time she was needed (which was almost every night for an entire month). Latosha and Jacob are FANTASTIC! I feel very comfortable and like this could be my home for a long long time ! The bad reviews on this page are from the neighbors who were above my apartment, please do not let them get in the way of a great opportunity to live in an awesome apartment complex !

It is tucked in a hidden area but yet still you will have access to everything nearby such as the medical district, shopping, dining and access to major highways. I just moved into this apartment complex and needless to say, it is a beautiful clean area and staff is so sweet and assisted me with my millions of questions. The building I live in is quiet and perfect for me working remote. I have a big dog and having a dog park here is so smart for people with fur babies. Since my move in, Ive noticed they have events on certain days where people apart of the community can come and get together. Such a great idea. This is the best apartment complex for the money in the area. I have a garage, and the best kitchen out of all my friends. Its also great for my dog. They dont allow aggressive breeds so the dog park is always friendly. The staff seems to know me by name and they are doing an outstanding job of keeping everyone informed during the COVID-19 stuff. I will be buying a house soon but if i was not, I would stay here.

I’ve lived here about two months and have been incredibly impressed. Maintenance has been incredible; and the nice gentleman came over and spent an hour helping me with my ceiling fan! That was so kind! Jacob in the office is hilarious and very helpful, and Latosha was great during our leasing process and always quick to answer questions. Needless to say, this is a fantastic place to call home!

The staff is very friendly. Latosha answered all our questions and even got us a sooner move in date. She made sure our apartment was move in ready. Only complaint is the people previous were smokers so the garage has a cigarettte smell but not the apartment. The apartment itself is beautiful. The upkeep of the community is very well kept. Cant say enough about this place.

I would have given five stars but my 2nd floor neighbor is somewhat noisy with the constant slamming of cabinets/drawers.Nonetheless the property is gorgeous, the apartments are amazing and the ladies at the front office have been nothing but awesome.

HONEST REVIEW: I live in model A1 1bd/1ba. Decent apartments. Good location. They look really nice but arent made very well. The outlets are very difficult to plug in cords. Bathtubs are small and uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit is right above the shower so you have to turn your AC off every time you shower or else it kicks on and you get blasted with cold air. The hot water lasts about 15 minutes maybe 20 if youre lucky. Every time someone closes their door on your hallway your front door moves and makes a noise which isnt terrible but gets annoying very quickly. You can also hear everything that goes on in the hallway (kids running, dogs barking, people talking, etc.) the apartment is gorgeous. Kitchen is the best part. It has great appliances, and plenty of storage space. The nest thermostat is very convenient. Maintenance is not fast. We put in a work order over a month ago because our patio door isnt sealed correctly and lets water into our living room when it rains. Even if you slightly push on the door while it is closed you can see light coming in from the outside. Our living room doesnt feel air conditioned because of this and probably runs our bill up. Its still not fixed and have not been told when it will be fixed. We put a towel down during storms to keep the water out usually the towels ends up soaked. Pest control is good. We had an ant problem immediately when we moved in and the pest control man fixed it that day. Parking has become a pain because more people have moved in. The gates have had a lot of problems but I think they are working on that. There are two elevators but if you dont live on the hallway with the elevator youll never use it. Trash valet is amazing now that all the problems have been fixed. The apartment management girls are nice but quick to tell you BS. But thats how every apartment complex is. They are not very good at communicating either. You have to call them multiple times to get anything done concerning work orders/problems. They dont reach out to you. Gym, and pool are very nice and well kept. Residents are quiet and nice.Its a safe location as far as I know. Ive seen multiple cop cars patrolling the complex. Which could be good or bad.Overall this is a good temporary place to live. With the one month free promotion it is worth the price. But if youre planning on long term I would not choose Mckinney Village Apartments.Update: We had downstairs neighbors move in a couple weeks ago. They are very noisy and they cook smelly food that for some reason goes through our bathroom vent so every time they cook our bathroom stinks. Ive never had this problem before in an apartment. Why are the vents connected to where I can smell my neighbors food? Its not just a slight smell either, it is very pungent and lingers. It also smells like skunk when they.... you know. 🙄Update #2: (2018) The new management team is amazing! Jacob is great! All problems with previous management are resolved. They are quick to take care of any issues (maintenance, neighbors, etc.) The physical problems I have with the apartment still remain but all other issues I’ve had no longer exist. 4 stars! Only downside is structural issues and parking. Although parking seems to be hard to come by only in certain areas so you might get lucky. McKinney Village is a great choice in my opinion! Honestly, I wish we were staying here and could move in to one of the townhomes. They look gorgeous!

These apartments are amazing! Not only is the environment nice and friendly, but so is everyone in the community. I have lived here for a little Under a year and have had no problems. The location or these apartments are great a little secluded, but not to far away from restaurants and shopping center.

Towing cars is a major problem here. I had a friend towed even after she received a confirmation that her car was registered. Seems she added a space where the license plat is entered. When you get a successful car is registered notification it seems they will tow anyways and charge you $300 to get your car back. They tow all night long and tow trucks have been here at 3:30 - 4:30am in the morning. You should be able to trust getting a confirmation that your registered or getting an error message back at the least.

We recently chose to make the move here from Colonial Grand At Fairview(5 min away from this location) and we dont regret it one bit. Jacob is amazing when it comes to advice on which apartment is perfect for you and he helps you with everything along the way. I love the fact that we have elevators and the halls are quiet and clean. Super modern and elegant for an amazing price. I love it i love it! :)

My husband and I lived here for a year. Let me start by saying it was by far the best apartment either of us have had. Any service requests were completed the same day, the complex was always clean, and there was always a spot nearby to park in. We didnt use the gym, and we only went to the pool once. It was nice. I went to one community event with a few friends and we had a blast! I wish we would have gone to more of the events McKinney Village had.Let me just say how amazing the team is for handing out breakfast on certain days! Jacob is wonderful!! He is really the reason we leased here, hes very convincing lol but he is honest. The team here really tries to make this complex feel like a big family, and I think they are doing a wonderful job with the events they host. Plus, they always kept us up to date on any issues going on in the complex.The only reason we didnt give them 5 stars was for the pet rent and pet fee. We paid a one time fee of $350, but what was that for?? We also paid $25/month for pet rent, but we really felt like these were pointless charges that allowed McKinney Village to get more of our money. The pet fee and pet rent didnt cover any damage our cat made, so that came out of our deposit. So from our $150 deposit, we get $7.90 back. I know the pet fees and pet rent are probably standard for apartments in the area, but it honestly left us feeling like we were being robbed because they wanted more money, for what seemed like nothing in return. Other apartments we have stayed in charged a pet deposit, but what is the point of a pet fee? It just left us feeling less like respected, valued tenants and more like a money grab for the complex.Other than that, the only reason we moved was because we bought a house. Otherwise we would have happily stayed here!! Give this place a chance, you will not be disappointed :)

McKinney Village Parkway is an exceptional place to live! The grounds are kept immaculately and the maintenance is phenomenal. The maintenance staff is prompt and efficient and always responds in a timely manner. I cannot say enough about the office staff, especially Latosha and Jacob! They are always there to answer any question or solve any issue at hand. The pool is beautiful and are dog loves the dog park. We are extremely satisfied with our townhome, the space and details are modern and well thought out! We really enjoy living in the complex!

I’ve been living here for a couple of months and have enjoyed my stay so far. The only gripe I’ve had so far is that my apartment did not come with a light/fan fixture in the living room but the connections and switches are already installed. I’ve been told that’s how all apartments are by maintenance but it just struck me as odd.9 month update: one of the definite plus sides about living here is that we never lost power during the February 2021 freeze. While there were several burst pipes, those were fixed quickly. One of the bad things that I’ve come to realize about this complex is the lack of visitor parking spots. I live in Building 2 (far away from the main office) and there are about 6 or 7 visitor parking spots close to that building. There’s another 10 spots in front of the main office but that’s all there is. It makes it a little difficult to have multiple friends over, especially under inclement weather.
