Megan, Nina, and Lisa are nothing short of miracle workers. Throughout my time at Magnolia, they were always ready and eager to help, addressing any questions or concerns with care and efficiency.Beyond their professionalism, they went above and beyond to support me during a challenging time in my personal life. What truly sets them apart is that they don’t just treat their role as a job— they genuinely care about their residents. Unlike some leasing offices that feel strictly business-oriented, they create a welcoming, supportive environment that makes Magnolia feel like home.

It is not often I take the time to write a review about anything, but for Magnolia Court, I feel like I have to. Living here has by far surpassed any and every expectation I had. Being in the Army, I have moved to and lived in various places, and I truly wish I could live here forever. The ladies at the front office are all excellent when it comes to communicating with residents, keeping the community together by arranging frequent activities, keeping the community clean, and most importantly, extremely understanding. Maintenance is on TOP of it. Literally- submit a claim, and they will be at your doorstep ready to tackle any small issue you might experience, all 2 of which (a kitchen light and some blinds I accidentally broke) have been minimal. Apartments are extremely spacious on the inside, and rent cost is VERY fair. They also ensure the apartments are in great shape before they allow you to move in. I have not had any issues with other residents, and what I love most; it feels like a little hidden paradise. The trees encapsulate the community, and its just to beautiful.

Spacious apartments - be safe on the parking lot tho. The design was not considered in areas for sedans without scraping!

I lived here for a little over 3 years. Just moved out a month ago. This was my first apartment after my divorce. Needed something close to work, in a decent area and for a good price, this place is truly a hidden gem. I absolutely loved living here. As a single female I felt completely safe here and even walked my dog late at night. The neighbors are great, the maintenance is great and responsive and the office staff is always friendly and most importantly competent. The apartments are older and I wished updated but that is the reason for the great prices for the area. You can’t get this pricing anywhere close for a nice area. I only moved out because I needed more space and slightly upgraded amenities but I highly recommend Magnolia Court

These apartments feel like an Austin secret. I just moved in and its been wonderful. The office is friendly and helpful, the move in process was painless, and after a month here with a minor kitchen light issue being resolved quickly, I can see myself staying here for a while. The area in walking distance isnt great but I still feel completely safe. I cant think of another [690 sq ft, 1-bed apartment] costing [$905/month] anywhere this close to Austin. The gym is small and the pool is fine, but I dont plan on using them very often anyways. I dont have a washer/dryer in the unit but thats a compromise I was willing to make. They do have larger units with those for an increased rent.My only real gripe is that coming home late at night (past 10pm) means a horrible parking spot, 5 minutes walking back to where I live. I was once scared I wouldnt find a single spot to park my car, although I recently received a message stating management was looking into that.I dont usually write long reviews but I have the free time and an apartment is something you live in for at least a year. I wish there was more detailed reviews for when I was looking. This place has a (at the time of writing) 4.3⭐ review for a reason.

I lived here for four years and would have stayed forever if I hadnt taken a job out-of-state. The apartment itself was awesome - spacious, lots of natural light, up-to-date appliances, and central air all included - and the location is perfect if youre looking for easy access to campus or downtown away from the noise and bustle. What made our experience so awesome was the staff & management! They go above and beyond to take care of the residents; everything about the move-in and move-out process was so easy (even moving out during the pandemic!), they offer fun events every now and then to build community among residents, and they were super fast and professional at responding to maintenance problems. I could not have asked for anything more from an apartment complex! The relatively low rent was just the icing on the cake. I cannot recommend Magnolia Court enough!

This apartment complex is great for an affordable option close to downtown. The management here is the best I have ever interacted with which can make or break a complex. There is a great sense of community and problems are addressed quickly. The apartment itself is nice enough for its age. A little worn down but still fine. Beautiful mature live oak trees and cute patios everywhere.

I love this complex so much!!The grounds are so well kept, I love getting off work and walking my dog through all the well decorated pathways through the apartments, the pool is always sparkling, the plant life here just adds that Z E N !! the hot tub is always perfect, and my dog loves all the friendly little guys he meets!!The leasing agents are all so sweet, and helped me so much moving in!! Honestly, yeah sure the price is amazing, but its the people behind the scenes that make this place worth it! They are all so great at their jobs, and it clearly reflects on this little community i compare to an oasis.

I really love living at Magnolia. Beautiful, huge trees. Super affordable as well as cute. A market on the corner, right on a bus route, AND the most wonderful office staff of all time?? 10/10

  • Review 11 (2024-01-06 - Rating: 5)

Really lovely complex. We only lived here for about 6 months because of an unexpected job relocation, but the area is pretty, the apartments are nice and really decently priced, and the people in the office are kind and responsive. Definitely recommend!

Ive only lived here for a month but Im so, so happy with my choice to move here! I have the smallest unit layout, but its perfect for a single person and my small dog. Vaulted ceilings that make it feel roomier, amazing natural light (I even have a window in my kitchen which I adore), wood floors in the dining/kitchen area, huge closet, balcony, extra storage out there too.The complex is quiet and well-kept; its lots of families and Ive never had issues with people being loud or rude. I always feel safe in the complex, even when walking my dog at night. The pool area is lovely. My dog really likes it here; there is lots of green space and they have the little dog stations with bags/trash cans which I like! The management office was super helpful when I was applying, too. I had a bit of a weird situation because I had JUST gotten hired at a new job and didnt have paystubs yet, but they were more than happy to work with me and come up with other solutions so I could rent with them.I would recommend this place to anyone - definitely the best rent prices for 1 bedrooms I found in Austin, and the apartments are actually NICE!

  • Review 13 (2016-06-08 - Rating: 5)

I lived here for two years while attending UT. I lived in the smaller one bedroom floorplan with vaulted ceilings and absolutely loved it. Had no problem getting my deposit back after moving out or anything like that. People in the office are extremely helpful and maintenance was always punctual no matter what the problem was.The only negatives were 1) The Gate was stuck open a lot. 2) I had a neighbor who was obnoxious and loud at all hours of the night (luck of the draw wherever you live though).Laundry facilities were clean for the most part, and the machines worked great. I never saw one single bug in my apartment, which is awesome too.Highly recommend to anyone.

I lived here for three years, and it was a wonderful experience! Great and attentive staff, maintenance is quick to resolve any issues, and the pool/hot tub area is kept tidy! The tree coverage is lovely and hard to find in Austin. It is a quick 10~ minute drive to Target, HEB, Cenote Coffee, and Austin Community College: Highland. 10/10 recommend.

  • Review 15 (2015-05-14 - Rating: 5)

Ive lived here for many months now. Ive had great experiences with the management and maintenance staff. Its a bit of an older complex, which is why the rent is (relatively) low for Austin, but any time Ive needed something taken care of, they are always expeditious. Theyve also been pretty understanding of some issues with rent my roommate has had. Parking can be inconvenient sometimes, but thats really the only issue Ive ever had. I have no complaints about this place.

  • Review 16 (2021-04-09 - Rating: 5)

Ive lived at Magnolia twice now. Once between 2014-2018 and again during 2020 into early 2021. Its affordable and well maintained by a very on the ball maintenance crew. The staff in the office are also very quick to respond to your needs and very genuine and easy to get along with. Considering that there isnt much left in Austin thats affordable in terms of 1x1, youre getting a very good complex while youre at it, too. There isnt much within walking distance right now. But if youve paid attention to growth trends in the city -- especially Mueller just five minute away -- you know that it wont stay that way long. Get in now!

  • Review 17 (2014-02-20 - Rating: 5)

My wife and I lived here for 3 year and we loved it. Its a good place to live. The management is awesome. They are always very friendly and helpful. The maintenance guys are super friendly too and they usually fix something the same day you request it. The neighborhoods that surround the complex are questionable, but we never had any problems. I would suggest having a car alarm so there are no issues with theft.

Absolutely have loved living in this place for all 2 years! This was my first apartment to live completely on my own and i would recommend it to anyone.First of all, the management is wonderful. Wendi the manager is fantastic, always knew me by name, helped out instantly, and was so accomodating and the other staff, Angie, angela and the rest, were great as well. The complex itself is great, love the big trees, nice pool, pretty friendly neighbors. The apartment was exactly what i was looking for: affordable without compromising on space or quality I would love to have had a balcony but the sunroom ended up being a perfect place to keep my dog while i was at work every day. The location also was very convenient. Less than 10 minutes to downtown without traffic and right off the highway so going north or south was a breeze. The only cons were that the walls were pretty thin above and below, so i could sometimes hear the dog above me and my neighbors below could sometimes hear min. Also a few months ago they disallowed smoking for tenants without a balcony. As a regular smoker who had been in my apartment for a while with no balcony, this was frustrating and would have impacted my decision about which model i chose if i had known. All in all, this apartment is fantastic and i would highly recommend it especially for the price/value, location, and management. Thank you!!

This is one of the most affordable places to live in Austin and a great location - 10 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from mueller. The apartment are older but the complex has put a lot of effort into keeping it nice; many of the apartments have updated countertops and appliances. The best part by far is the staff. They are beyond friendly and given the opportunity, will know you by name. Felicia is particularly helpful. My wife and I moved apartments within the complex and Felicia took care of everything, making it a smooth process. At another point, I accidentally overpaid my rent by $1000 and Felicia got a reimbursement check cut for me and went to pick it up from their corporate office the next day. I cant say it enough, this is a great place to live.

I loved at Magnolia Court between 2012-2015, and I loved it. Its right off of 1-35, 290, and 183, so its close to everything. Everyone who worked there, from the office staff to the maintenance crew were great people. I even got locked out of my apartment at 3am one night and was able to call their 24 hour line and get right in. I cant recommend this place enough. I plan on moving back there should I ever move to that area again.

Moved here this summer and its just as fantastic as we expected. People are friendly, maintanence is prompt and the ladies in the office are fantastic! We live on the third floor and have the perk of vaulted ceilings and a fireplace!

I went on a tour as I am looking to relocate soon, the complex is well maintained and clean. The manager, Amber is very pleasant and knowledgeable. This is definitely in the running and the location is a plus.
