    I absolutely love my new apartment with all the space and natural light. It is an older apartment thats s slightly updated. This was my preference because the newer apartments and modern living just isnt for me. Love the extra storage and amenities. Now I havent been able to use them because of the cold weather. Jackie and Noelle is extreme nice. Talking to Jackie was like speaking to my aunt. Love itNow the reason for the three stars. The vent isnt working in the second room and I reported it to the office in hopes to getting it fixed today because the temp has dropped tremendously. I reported it around 11am hoping to get it fixed/looked at. Nope didnt happen. There are a lot of fees. My daughter lives in a Graystar apartment, new one at that, and she gets a washer and dryer with her apartment along with a gate fob. Here I have to rent a washer and dryer for 65.00 a month or buy my own. Also, to get a fob to the gate its 35.00. I dont understand charging for a gate fob with the amount of rent thats being charged. Finally, my storage room outside the front door is filthy and the key doesnt work. However, I was assured it would get cleaned and locks changed when the weather permits. I will def update review onces weve gotten settled in from our move this weekend and things get repaired.Editing review maintenance showed up this morning to change the lock on storage and fix the heat. Will wait on the weather to change for cleaning of the storage

    My husband and I have been living in Madison at Melrose for 3 years. Our experience with the complex and the community has been excellent. I am very grateful to the Greystar team—Jackie and Noel have been very helpful with our requests, and the maintenance staff are excellent at their jobs. I highly recommend this place. It’s a great place to live—peaceful and nice!

    Had a great experience at this complex! Maintenance and office staff (Jackie & Noel) are really understanding and helpful. It’s usually quiet, nice gym, lots of parking. Payment portal for rent is also super easy to use. Calling the offices is hard sometimes, would recommend just going in person for issues.

    Jackie and management is extremely nice, absolutely no complaints there. Apartment is really solid and a short drive from UTD if you are a student like me, and compared to apartments like Northside it is more spacious and quieter. Gym was also pretty quiet late at night, great pick overall. Only issues were with some appliances on arrival but they were quickly fixed.

    Ive lived here almost 3 years, and am updating this review. For my greatest needs: working entry gate (much of the time), comfortable home w/ all things working properly, and a management team that has addressed all my concerns when something bothersome arises, Madison has been a wonderful place to live.

    Had a great move-in experience that took place only online and from out of State.Jackie is the Leasing Manager that helped me and she excelled at her job. Once I started emailing them for answers, she would answer me that day and often within the hour. Sometimes sooner.The website shows you what you get and Im happy with the apartment. Its large and well-maintained. The appliance work great, but Im a little surprised they are not updated. I dont cook, so it doesnt bother me.I feel safe here and the neighborhood is quiet. Far from regular car traffic. Most of the neighborhood is businesses located back away from main roads. Less people that live here makes it quiet.I feel I got lucky and did my research just like you did.First day, the toilet clogged and maintenance fixed it quickly. A good sign to me of an apartment complex is how good the manager and the maintenance crew is.Amenities are great and my son and I love the pool. I do not regret my decision to be here.

    This has been a wonderful three years. I recently moved to be closer to my daughters school. This was such a peaceful, private place to live, never loud parties from neighbors making noise. We really enjoyed the amenities such as the pool and bbq dining area, the game room and the gym room. Many pet lovers enjoy Madison. Management was always helpful and friendly, the former management and new management, Noelle and Jackie. I appreciated how work orders were takem care of efficiently. Derrick the maintenance man does a great job!

    Quiet well maintained apartment community. Very friendly staff. Pet friendly. Pool. Workout room with sauna. They lose a star because the back corner of the complex landscaping is ignored. None of the sprinker heads work and it kind of looks like west Texas back here!**Update 10/18/2017. The wheels turn slowly, but I did not realize they were turning. Madison at Melrose heard my cries for help and not only planted some sod behind my little yard, they put brand new, healthy, sod all over my little yard and the pitiful little grass that I got to grow there!! Its beautiful. Thank you Madison at Melrose!

    We have been residents here for over six years. This well-maintained community has been a great home for us. Noelle and Jackie, new management, and staff, have been very responsive and friendly. They and all the previous management have been good to work with. Also, Derrick in maintenance does a great job taking care of maintenance issues.

    GreyStar just recently took over this property. The staff is reduced much smaller than before. For this reason, the employees (Derrick) and management (Noelle & Jackie) are wearing different hats on any given day. Noelle and Jackie are doing the best they can with what was given to them. Folks, its 105+ degrees outside and we see Jackie, dressed in business attire, on the golf cart often, showing new units to future residence. She is always polite and greets with a smile. Most of the complaints Ive read recently, since the transition are likely true. However, the fault should be with the corporate office, not this team. They are truly working hard to bring the level of service to where it should be. Its VERY clear, there was a switch in ownership and corporate leadership. Unfortunately, its also very obvious, the leadership on the property was not given much to work with. They need help, seriously. I rate this current team as 5 STAR. I could not do that before the transition. If corporate is reading these reviews, I would suggest you listen to the residents. If you add qualified staff to the team, you will see positive changes.

    Jackie Jones the leasing manager here is phenomenal at her job. This apartment complex has so many amazing amenities but the best one by far is her. Anyone would be lucky to call this complex home. A friend and I showed up for a tour close to closing no appointment made and we were taken care of happily and not once ever felt like a burden. I look forward to moving into these apartments because with a property manager like Noelle and a leasing manager like Jackie I know I’ll be in good hands. I look forward to telling everyone I know about Madison at Melrose.

    A pretty good apartment complex. Lived here for a year and a half before my job moved and I needed more space. Maintenance doesnt always communicate very well but they do try. Office staff is patient with maintenance issue calls and checking up on such. The community is generally quiet, no more issues than any other place. Parking at the south end can be a little difficult at times but workable.Nice layouts though at good prices. Nice workout room, game room, and pool.Only real complaint would have to be the number of times they have people come into the apartment for checking on things. Change of management though so not entirely unexpected. Entire complex just painted as of the end of 2020.

    This is the first time Ive ever written a review for anything, since I dont really use social media. I wanted to make this one though because I havent had someone go so far and beyond for me to help me as Jackie (leasing manager) and Noelle (general? manager) have. Ive lived here for about a year and started back when it was owned by the previous company. Ive had some issues with my ledger and some other things going on in my personal life and I feel like Ive been able to talk to both J and N so many times as theyve helped me and walked me through everything I needed. I know they have a lot to do, the transition has put a lot on their plate, but even so both of them have taken the time to sit with me time and time again and helped me sort everything out and have been really kind and patient and understanding through it all.

    Place brings back a lot of good memories my wife and her mother used to live here. The main office game room and the pool were my favorites everytime id visit. Main office always had them free muffins and sodas for guests. Wouldnt mind living in this community and they also have a nice community library I miss this place man.🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

    I will give the complex a 5 star because my experience with leasing consulting Jennifer Rodriguez was very helpful throughout my leasing signing process . I rented the apartment site unseen and initially was nervous but she made the experience pleasant. She was very attentive and helpful with all my needs and made the process easier. Once I arrived, I was shown the property and was pleased with what I saw. Hopefully the experience continue and is an example of what’s to come. Thank youThis is my mid lease review. I was a little worried about a new management taking over but so far they have exceeded my expectations. From the professional staff to the quick response to problems (which are far in between) I can say the gate has been closed and locked more now than the previous management company. I have no complaints so far. They seem more friendly and approachable than some of the previous management staff.

    Ive been living here for almost a year now and while I dont have an upgraded unit I have still enjoyed the experience immensely. The apartment complex is located in a nice, quiet, peaceful area. The community is nice, and very clean and well-maintained. Its also located within convenient reach of all manner of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, movie theaters... Pretty much anything you could ask for. There are very few disturbances at night. Management has always been very quick to respond to concerns and maintenance has so far been very fast. In nearly a year of being here I have only ever seen two tiny bugs in my apartment. Two! There have been no cockroaches, water bugs, or any other manner of disgusting creepy crawlies which is amazing.The only things I can think of as a potential downside is that the buildings are older and so dont have super-modern designs, windows (not energy efficient, at least in my unit), or a/c systems. However, the actual HVAC units are stalwart and reliable. Even in extreme heat and cold they have not broken down or skipped a beat. Besides, all of these are very minor issues in an otherwise stellar apartment complex and community.I would highly recommend these apartments based on the kindness, understanding, and quick response time of management and maintenance alone! All the other perks and amenities are just icing on the cake.

    I have lived here for 7 years and it has been great! We have been through several managment changes and over that time span, as you will see, in the reviews of past years, all has taken some time getting use too, but all I know is my family is still happy here and yea..the company changing has it ups and down every time, a new one comes, but it always smoothes out, the new company has been here only few months and that is a short amount of time, to give them a 1 star or a 5 star review. So I choose 4 stars, because as for me and my family, we are still proud to call it home. Our contract is up in Oct and we plan on making it 8 yrs. The office people are very nice and the Manger, Noell (I think that is how you spell her name) is wonderful! So far my maintenance has been done. My only suggestion is we would love to have a dog park.

    I have been a home owner for the past 50 years so when I discovered this jewel of a community, I was thrilled. Making the change from a rural town to a city and becoming a renter were huge changes for me. As I have told family and friends, there is not one thing I don’t like about The Madison at Melrose. Because of the landscaping and layout, you would never know that you are in the middle of the city. It is so quiet and pleasant and the grounds and buildings are meticulously kept. The office staff is fantastic and feel like family. The routine messages from the staff keep me informed on what is going on within the apartment community.

    The BEST thing about living here is the management team, to include maintenance and the courtesy officer. The second thing that I love is the location and it is not in a congested area and it is more of a neighborhood feel..more like you are coming to your home. Most neighbors are cool, but some act as if they have no home training at all. People stay to themselves for the most part, which I happen to love because I truly love my privacy. The floor plans are awesome. I am totally in love with mine. This is my second apartment in this complex. I love that the fitness center is 24 hours and the steam room is a plus. Management sponsors events for the residents pretty regularly. I would certainly promote this place as a nice place to reside.

    I have had a great experience from the time that I have come to visit the complex all the way up until moving in. I did have a fast process which is okay. Wilmar was amazing and very helpful as well as the Supervisor Melanie. The entire staff helped me so much and made it such an easy process to move in. I have been here 3 months now and I can honestly say that it is everything that I have always wanted in an apartment. I searched and searched for months after moving to the Dallas area and I finally found a place that I can call home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a quiet and safe environment. Everything is great so far and I look forward to keeping the experience throughout my stay.

    In the short amount of time I have been staying here I can tell you this is by far the nicest place I have ever lived. The floorplan is so spacious, and the vaulted ceilings create an open feeling to the unit. Very quiet complex with lots of parking spaces no matter what time of night you come in. Maintenance has completed a lot of my requests by the next day. The office staff are all extremely friendly and go the extra mile to help in any way they can. Also, the proximity to a variety of restaurants is a plus.Before renting here, my focus had been about frugality and I rented cheaper places to save a buck, often compromising quality which just ended with stress. This complex has a higher price point than what I was used to but it is definitely comparable to places in the surrounding area, and is definitely worth it for many reasons.Also, the staff really cares about any issues you are having and does an amazing job to make your experience stress-free. Overall, this is a beautiful complex that will bring you peace of mind due to managements dedication to quality. I would definitely recommend this place.

    My experience thus far at Madison has been very pleasant. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the apartment complex is well maintained. The pool area is kept clean and usually full of life on the weekends. The apartments themselves are contemporary and structurally sound. Being located nearby 75 and George Bush Turnpike is a huge plus as well. I would recommend these apartments to anyone interested in moving to Richardson!

    Our stay here so far has been a wonderful experience! The front office staff Melanie, Wilmar and Becky are friendly, professional and inviting! The community here is very clean, a variety of feasible floor plans, diverse, friendly and very close to the main highway and eateries. The only downside so far is that maintenance is not as prompt to requests like we are use to but they are friendly and helpful. I will give more feedback throughout our time here but so far it has been a wonderful experience thus far! 💕

    I do not live here yet, but I wanted to leave a review specifically for Jackie. I called the apartment complex because im looking around to check apartments to see if i like them or the location, etc. I called and a lady answers, it was Jackie. From the very first word she was so kind to me, and extremely helpful. Her voice and her attitude made me feel like i new her a long time. She told me i could go in since she had some untis to show me. I got there and again, she was so kind to me. She was so helpful and the way she works makes you feel at home. I will definitely come back and rent a place here soon. Thank you Jackie for all of your help the day i went. I only gave 4 stars due to the fact that the place doesnt have much green areas, but if i could give Mrs. Jackie a star rating, it would be 5 stars for her.

    A great living experience at this apartment, i lived here for 2 years, i left as i have to move out of Texas, else would have been stayed there. A great hospitality by leasing staff specifically by Deb Aviles. Maint service is very prompt, landscaping was very nice and tidy, inside apartment - it was awesome. I would recommend this apartment to everyone

    We are looking for a new place to live recently and Madison at Melrose was our first visit. NO BETTER CHOICE at this price after touring around the property!!! Ms. Deb is so nice, helpful and professional. She explains everything in a well-organized way and always prompt to reply. Though we didnt choose to live here (for our own reason), I would highly recommend you to come and have a look!

    This review is long overdue but here it is: Madison at Melrose is a big apartment home complex but the management team knows how to use consistent small impacts to make a difference in the living experience of their tenants. I lived at the complex for two years and consistently the team blew me away with timely completions of maintenance requests, ease of communication with staff, community events, kind gestures like thank you cookies, platform to know your neighbors, carefully managed expectations, and above all Ms. Deb always has a kind word, hug, or smile when I visited the office. Thank you for such a fond memory.

    Awesome community. The rooms are spacious compared to other gated communities in Richardson. Friendly staff. Very close to UTD and shopping centers. The rent is fair and the reviews are helpful to make a decision. I looked at every corner here and I couldnt find something negative. The only thing is that there are few parking places which might be a problem not to find one close to home.

    Safe and great community. It’s a perfect location with the elementary school and library so close. We love the amenities, especially the pool and game room. It’s a great place to live. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful.

    I toured this property with Deb. Deb is so nice and professional. I was impressed with how she knew every tenant name we came across. Deb picked up paper while we toured the property and was detailed about the property. Deb followed up with the next day and few days later. Deb gets 10 🌟 from me. Keep up the good work.
