    After two years here at MAA West Austin, I can definitely say this has been the best property management I have experienced. Leasing office staff are friendly, attentive, and always responsive. And there’s just zero drama here - unlike the downtown high rise property I was at previously.Equally as impressive is the maintenance crew - ALL of them. They respond to every single request or issue promptly and effectively. They almost always respond within the day and they are quick to fix whatever the problem. On top of that, they are extremely friendly and I fully trust them in my home and space.I know that when I first moved to this property, I went back and looked at some of the reviews, and there were some unusually harsh comments. I have not experienced that at all since I’ve been here and it’s been two years. If you’re looking, come check out MAA West Austin.

    Ive had a great experience living at MAA West Austin, and a big part of that is thanks to the amazing maintenance team! Jimmy, Alfonso, Devin, Shayne, and Eddy are always quick to respond, professional, and go above and beyond to ensure everything is in top shape. Whether its a small fix or a bigger repair, they handle everything efficiently and with a great attitude. Their hard work truly makes a difference, and I appreciate having such a reliable team on-site.

    My wife and I really like this place. The location is perfect, the condition of the interior and exterior is good. The parking garage is good. The management staff is very responsive. Shanna Haynes was our initial contact and has been the ultimate professional at every interaction. Others on the staff, Frances and Hunter have also been helpful. Every request and every question gets answered right away. The fitness center was really good before the current remodel so I am guessing it will be even better. I highly recommend this community.

    Living at MAA West Austin has been fantastic! From day one, I felt welcomed by the friendly team and safe in this great neighborhood, just 5 miles from Downtown Austin.The maintenance team is top-notch—quick and professional with every request. A special shout-out to Frances and Shanna in the leasing office; they’re approachable, knowledgeable, and always go the extra mile.I also appreciate the added security of closed side gates at night.     Current resident here! I’ve lived in two other apartment buildings before in Austin, and this one has been my favorite by far. Maintenance is responsive, and the leasing office staff really care about their tenants. The area is really great too. The apartment building feels very safe and so does the neighborhood. I would also say that the rent prices are well worth it. Each of my previous apartments has cost more than this one, so finding this place has been the most worth it for me. The location is great too. I work downtown and it’s super easy to get downtown and anywhere else in Austin from here especially because it’s right on MOPAC. And no, you don’t hear the highway. I highly recommend this place!

    Although I have had minor issues while at MAA, what makes me leave a 5 star review is the dedication MAA staff, particular Shanna, shows in fixing the issue. For me, this is what makes a good place to live. Shanna has been attentive to my emails and has even met with me about one issue that was complex to solve.MAA is in a great neighborhood, and I enjoy the location.

    Jimmy, Alfonso, and Devin did an awesome job the other day. We needed a couple of appliances replaced. The three of them came in and got it all done in a timely manner. Alfonso even brought back the old dishwasher because we had left dishes in it! We took out the clean dishes and away with the old dishwasher. We are always pleased with their work. We have lived here for almost 10 years and it’s been a good place for us. It is home. The management is the best. Shanna is always there to help us, fix any situation. Katya helped us with our renters insurance getting to the right people. We needed that. Frances is the tech and has helped me countless times. Hunter helped with an important phone number I needed. The maintenance guys work hard-recently looked through the trash for my keys! I cant say enough for the folks at MAA West Austin.

    I put in a work order and an hour later, Alfonso who worked in maintenance came to fix it all! He was so effective and kind to fix all items on the work order & also went out of his way to change the air vent that was requested upon arrival!

    I needed help installing a magnetic air deflector on the air vent on the nine foot ceiling. Just by chance I encountered building maintenance guys Jimmy, Devin, and Alfonso in the hall near my apartment. When I expained my problem, they jumped right in, fetched a ladder and installed two of the deflectors so the cold air didnt blow righ on me. Great help and really friendly guys.

    I recently moved in and the maintenance and staff went above and beyond to make sure it was an easy experience for me. Jose was quick to help out with my maintenance requests and even power washed my patio making it look really nice. He did a really great job!!

    Ive been here for two years now and really enjoy the complex. The study rooms, pool, and common areas are spacious and clean for use. They also have a decent-sized gym for getting in a workout when in a pinch. I also appreciate the other amenities like gated parking and in-room washer/dryers which are rarely included around this area at this price-point. The only thing I wish was a little better was consistent cleanup of the stairwells and elevators, which are sometimes dirty. Overall, great place to live!

    Lived here for almost a year and have had a great experience! Love the area. Specifically, really appreciate Jose and Alfonso for thier quick response and resolve for any and all maintenance issues/work orders. We had an issue with our oven late at night and somebody was here within 30 minutes to help. They were also here first thing the next morning to install a new oven.

    I am writing this as I renewed my lease for a third year at MAA West Austin. The front office staff is always available to answer any questions and goes above and beyond to ensure youre satisfied. The maintenance team is also outstanding! Theyre prompt, professional, and always have a positive attitude. Any maintenance requests I had were addressed quickly and efficiently.The complex itself is always well kept; grounds are well-manicured, and the common areas were always spotless.Overall, this is a great community to live at and Im very happy to call it home for another year!

    Lived there for a year and had a great experience. Staff was always very nice, in particular Katya who was always on top of everything, very responsive and super nice. The apartments have great amenities and are in a very nice neighborhood, and the maintenance team was always very responsive.

    About as good a deal as youll find in central Austin these days. My wife and I lived at Post West for 4 years, and the staff on property was always great-from the early days of Rolando and Bryan to now Shanna, Stephanie, Frances and team, theyre a great bunch. The maintenance staff is truly AWESOME too. Alfonso/Jimmy are always super reliable, quick to respond, and friendly. Highly recommend this place at the current price!

    Resident of almost one year here! Even in these record breaking temperatures, the maintenance staff, particularly Alfonso and Jimmy, have been so helpful with making sure my apartment is properly cooling! Additionally, they are always so quick and responsive! I would definitely recommend renting here if you want a dedicated maintenance staff at your next home!

    I’ve been here for about four months now, & would say that overall, I am extremely happy living here! My neighbors are quiet (to the point I often joke to my friends that I’m the only one who lives in the building) & I love the location, as it’s easy to get to what I need but still feels calm and residential. The team here is PHENOMENAL, like truly phenomenal. The front office goes above & beyond in communicating with me when I need it, & I feel like have actually made an effort to somewhat get to know me as a person, which they did not need to do. The maintenance team is outstanding; not only are they kind, but they’re extremely quick with getting things resolved easily!My two only small criticisms (not enough to lose a star over imo) is the lack of cameras in the hallways & the fact that you have small charges added to your rent that they do not disclose at the time of your lease signing. The lack of cameras is a concern for me both from a personal safety perspective, but also because getting packages stolen here is EXTREMELY common. It must be a resident, as it seems to happen to people literally daily. I am nervous to get anything delivered here, to the point I will stay home from work anytime I think something is coming. With how much $$ they’re making off all of us for rent….ya can’t tell me you can’t afford hallway cameras lol. And as far as the lease goes, they add charges for cleaning the exterior of the building & gutters & things that I have never been charged for by another complex. Again, they’re making so much $$ off our rent already that I don’t see why they also need an extra $20-$30 from me every month…but it’s not a crazy amount of $$, hence why I won’t remove a star for that! Just something to keep in mind if you’re also working off of an education salary like me where every dollar counts lol. I also fully recognize that this complex is a part of a massive parent company, so I am in no way upset with the individuals that work here over either of these, as I know they likely have no personal control over that. However, it would be wonderful if MAA as a collective could put a small fraction of their $$$$ into some simple safety cameras & just footing the cost of their gutter cleanings (or whatever they decide I’m randomly getting charged for each month).All in all, I truly do love it here! I feel like the staff makes a massive effort, the hallways are typically very clean, & (knock on wood) bugs have not been a problem for me at all. If I choose to continue my time in Austin, I will definitely be resigning my lease!!

    This place was nice but wasnt right for me.Pros: This complex offers great location (right off Mopac and close to downtown) along with good amenities. Everyone upfront is very nice. The community here as well as the surrounding neighbors are great. The complex across the street has a few areas that you can take your dog. Management is pretty quick to address work orders (depending on the severity). 2 times I had issues with A/C and both were addressed within 1- 2 days.Cons: The entire surrounding area was under construction for the 14 months I lived here, and likely will be until early 2023. My unit faced the highway and you can definitely hear the road noise. I like white noise when I sleep but I know others that dont. There is nothing on-site for dogs except for a few strips of grass to go potty.Overall I enjoyed my stay here, but I prefer a more spacious place further outside the city.

    I like my apartment. It is spacious, modern and the special I was offered when I signed my lease was great. I also appreciate the amenies and how well the management takes care of the ground. The maintenance is quick to respond to requests. Parking is tough in the late evenings. I dont have a problem with parking being first come first serve, but it seems like more and more parking spots have become restricted and require extra monthly fees. The infrastructure of the apartment has been disrupted occasionally this past year, e..g the fire alarm going off in the late hours of the night. I do appreciate how they have upgraded the units such as smart lock, although our thermostat does not sync well with the app and the light is breaking and going out more frequently since the smart light/switch was implemented.

    Been living here about 4 months and so far the experience has been excellent. The apartments are very quiet given how close we are to the highway and we rarely hear anything from neighbors above or below. Maintenance is quick and friendly and issues in communal spaces have been addressed quickly with lots of communication from the office. Overall its a great community at a good pricepoint.

    I have been at MAA west for about a year and a half, and it has been a good experience. Although the apartments are pricey, staff and maintenance are always on top of it—no big complaints. I would continue living here if it was in my budget. They do like to tow you - even if it is just a few hours between your daily visitor registrations, after already registering the car for 2 days.

    The location of the apartment and professionalism of the staff is excellent. My main complaint is that each floor in the garage is constantly littered with paint cans, doggy bags, and other maintenance miscellaneous items that are dirty and need to be thrown out. Not all the gate key fob entry pads work and this is an inconvenience. Service maintenance comes quickly.

    I normally dont leave reviews, but my first impression and experience with Post West went so smoothly, just wanted to give some feedback and recognition!Ill be moving to Austin from Dallas, so took the time this past weekend to tour some complexes. Since I was limited to about a day, my roommate and I didnt have too much time or many complexes to view within our ideal budget.We arrived at Post West about 10 minutes late and missed our tour time with Rolando, but thankfully, he switched our tour time with another party that ended up arriving earlier than their appointment time. Rolando was SO friendly and inviting, we loved his energy from the start. For the tour, he led us to the unit and then stepped out, giving us our own time to tour the place and then came back to show us the amenities!The complex itself was very nice and efficient. The location wasnt ideal, but even the location is efficient. Its pretty close to everything, so even if you dont like the location too much, you can always drive a short distance. Overall, the unit, the whole complex gave us very home-like, friendly vibes.Rolando was so easy to tour with, it almost felt like he was a part of our group, not our leasing agent! He gave us his raw feedback on the apartment, so despite the construction and some of the negative reviews online, we decided to live at Post West. Even the application process was smooth... Ive always wanted to live in Austin, so with everything working out smoothly, it almost feels too good to be true!Before touring Post West, we had toured one other complex that day where we received poor service and were left alone to find the apartment units with unclear directions. We actually got lost because the complex was so hard to navigate through, and we didnt get a tour of the amenities either! Better service and a better tour may have made us love that complex more, but I believe everything happens for a reason!

    I rarely post reviews but I feel this place deserves it. I have lived in several apts and this one was the best. Unfortunately, I had to relocate for work, otherwise I would have had no problem staying. The leasing office staff is amazing and professional. I really appreciated all the emails keeping me informed of whats going on at the property. Special thanks to Bryan, he is very kind and helpful. It was a bit noisy from the construction across the street but I had a really nice view of whats to come. Had no issues with neighbors, very quiet hallways. The location is great and definitely will be more entertaining with the new construction across the street. Overall, I have had a positive experience with MAA properties.

    I lived at Post West for over a year in two different units on two different sides of the complex. I really enjoyed my time here and sad to be leaving the complex (Im relocating)! The leasing office team is really kind and helps you with any questions or problems you have have. For any maintenance issue, the maintenance team was very responsive and fixed it quickly. I would say the only con about living here is how parking fills up but thats nothing anyone can fix since its just the construction of the complex (you can purchase a parking spot). The location is an absolute plus and the quick access to Mopac is a godsend if you work Downtown.

    Ive been meaning to write this for a while and going on my third year, feel like its time!I absolutely love living here. The units themselves are big, clean, bright and cozy. Everything feels like there was thought put into it and the crown molding, wood blinds and high ceilings make a huge difference. It feels like a home. My friends are CONSTANTLY commenting on how homey and comfortable my space is.The leasing office is friendly and know my apartment number without even having to ask. They always have little toys down there for my pup and he lovesss walking over there.The maintenance team is friendly and fast to respond to any issues. The complex itself is well taken care of and the amenities are gorgeous. Everything is always spotless. Ive read reviews of plenty of other complexes and it seems like we are lucky to have a clean space.Parking really isnt that bad and its nice to have it for free if youre not picky about an assigned spot. You WILL have your car towed if youre not following the posted rules (learned the hard way), but Ive always been able to find a spot in the garage.For the most part, the complex is pretty silent. My neighbors above are pretty loud but its nothing that is too annoying. Everyone living here is very respectful and theres no crazy partiers. Very polite young professional crowd.The surrounding area is fantastic as well. I take my pup on a walk around the building and feel safe at any time of the day - thats huge for me. The fact that I can go on a run at 11:00 PM with headphones on and not feel like its an issue is something I dont take for granted. I love, love, love being in the suburbs but having easy access to the highway, downtown and bars and restaurants.I really couldnt be happier here and feel lucky to call it home!

    Post West Austin was our first impression as new Austin residents. We loved this apartment complex. Pet friendly, clean grounds, and an awesome fitness center. The staff (Bryan, Alicia, Rolando) were always incredibly nice and helpful when needed. The maintenance team was also super fast! Definitely recommend!

    Post West is an awesome place to live. The amenities are great (pool, fitness center, classes) and the staff is amazing. I didnt have any problem with pests, maintenance worked very quickly, and all of the staff was incredibly kind. Yes, there is the occasional fire alarm (every few months), but that is because there is legitimate things triggering those alarms. Im happy I heard those alarms, because it reassured me that Post West is taking steps to keep me safe. Thanks Post West!

    Very happy with my experience at Post West Austin (1.5 years so far) - the pros far outweigh the cons. The management team is great and the maintenance guys are prompt and competent. Rent is a little higher than other places, but its a newer complex in a great location. You get what you pay for. The amenities are also a positive - fitness center, business center, bi-weekly brunches in the community area, the pool is decent (no hot tub, though), and the complex feels very secure. Also, it seems that there are more families/professionals here than college students.As others have mentioned, the parking can be annoying sometimes, but you get used to it - and using the stairs is good for you anyway. They also offer reserved parking spots for $50/month, which is a solution to the problem for residents, but there is no solution to the lack of visitor parking (sometimes guests have to park in nearby neighborhoods if theres no space in the garage). Not all apartments have balconies, and some apartments are pretty far away from the parking garage. The complex is close to Mopac and the train, but the noise isnt really an issue unless your windows are open. I would definitely recommend this place!

    Very happy that I decided on Post West Austin. As a newcomer to the city, if you are looking for a place that is reliable and can accomodate your needs, this is a great spot. Front desk was very helpful from initiation to signing lease to moving in. I had sent a bunch of furniture, home appliance and other big ticket items delivered and there was no problem in having these sent to my unit securely. Big shout out to Bryan & Madison at the front desk, they are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Please give the place a shot and check it out, you wont be dissapointed.

    I have lived at the post for almost 3 years now. The people in the leasing office have been incredibly accommodating. I even moved from one apartment to another within the building and they waived all fees that would normally be associated. The amenities are modern and function well. Whenever we have an issue where something needs to be fixed, we put in a service request and it is done within 12-18 hours. For me the location is perfect as it is between my office up north and the nightlife further south. I would recommend renting here... I do agree the parking is a B*tch though. Be willing to take a few extra minutes in the morning to walk up to the 5th floor to your car if you came back later than 7:30 PM.

It’s a little pricey for living in a construction zone, but once the Grove is complete, the cost will be fully justifiable.

    I have been looking for a place to stay since the week before Labor Day and it was tough trying to get everything done fast for moving states considering I had already put in my 30 day notice in my current place and the holidays in between! Even though their office had a very busy couple of weeks and others couldn’t attend to me, Bryan made sure all my questions are answered and has finalized everything for us to comfortably move in to a new state and our new place on the first!

    Quick shout out to Bryan Perry and Rolando Hernandez in the PWA leasing office. Im a MAA transfer from another property up in the DFW area. Bryan made the leasing process very easy from my initial phone inquiry, to my site visit to view an available unit, to helping coordinate the transfer process with my former property leasing office. Great attitude, friendly, knowledgable and responsible. Rolando stepped in when Bryan took some vacation time between my initial visit and the day I signed the lease and it was a very smooth and well-coordinated effort on their part. Thanks to both of you for making this a very easy process!

    I like living here, the amenities are nice. Parking can be very annoying, if I ever go out to dinner or come home late for work I have to park on the 4th or 5th floor when I live on the 2nd. Its very pet friendly, which I like since I have a small dog. The gym is great relatively speaking and they throw brunches and other events monthly for the residence which I think is pretty nice.My cell service sucks w/ AT&T and sometimes I can here the people above me stomping around but I think youre going to have those problems almost anywhere...I would recommend this place!

    So far so good. Ive been living here for a while now and love it. Its slightly overpriced for the location but the apartment fixtures are gorgeous and its a very safe community.

    Great central location. Beautiful grounds and pool. Apartments are modern and clean with nice kitchens. Rent is on the higher side.

    The management has been helpful and responsive. The complex location is perfect and despite being next the to highway its pretty quiet.Moved in recently and have had a positive experience overall!

    I used to live at this apartment complex over 10 years ago and absolutely loved it. Recently a package of mine was accidentally delivered to my old address. I got in contact with Shanna , the property manager, and she was able to track down my package from the current resident, repackage it, and personally dropped it off at UPS for me. This kind of service is outstanding and uncommon. If this is the kind of service previous residents receive, thenI know current residents are in great hands. Would recommend MAA West for anyone looking for an apartment in Austin.
