    I viewed apartments, but itā€™s the entire location thatā€™s makes you want to live there since most apartments are similar. The apt info firstā€¦The apartments were spacious(for my needs), well-maintained, and the layout is fantastic for relaxation. The kitchen is good for cooking. Itā€™s also in a great location, close enough to find anything to do. Now about Matthew who took me around. His friendly and attentive approach made me feel I would be a valued resident. Itā€™s clear that he cares about providing excellent service. Iā€™m was very impressed with how he interacted throughout the tour and his style!

    Lived at the property for a year now and can say that overall it is worth it. Any requests or issues are always handled same day or within 24 hrs. Whenever I need to go into the leasing office the staff is nothing but respectful, helpful and willing to accommodate residents. Matthew, one of the staff members, has always gone above and beyond with his customer service, making sure whatever I need help with is solved promptly and appropriately. Additionally, this complex is conveniently located and within walking distance of all necessities, especially for young professionals.

    Our experience at MAA Uptown has been absolutely wonderful! In my years of leasing apartments, Uptown has by far been the easiest.Matthew especially is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind! Hes helping us with all the moving parts of transferring our lease and hes been nothing short of fantastic. We will miss MAA Uptown!

    Iā€™ve been a tenant here for 14 months and by far I have had no major issues. Any minor issues that I had were addressed within 1 business day if not the same day. Matthew Kinzer is the best by far on the MAA staff. Iā€™ve been leasing through MAA for over 4 years starting from MAA Worthington, to Northall, and now MAA Uptown village. Matthew has had the best customer service out of all my experience with MAA. The neighborhood is so quiet and the units are big and give a older home type of layout vs MAA Worthington that is more of a busy fast pace neighborhood with a bit of a modern apartment style feel. Both neighborhoods have great walking access to Griggs park and a lot of local shops. I needed more space so I chose Uptown village and the parking garage is much bigger and not underground under the apartments like MAA Worthington. They do offer resident events. Griggs park always has something going on so thereā€™s much to do in the area. I enjoy MAA uptown village the only cons I would say is if you park on the street more than 2 days be ready to get a car wash because there are lots of trees and therefore the tree leaves will fall on top. Take a tour and compare each MAA to see what works for you.

    This property is gorgeous! I was touring apartments and condos in the area and this one was last in my list of places to check out. I can in close to closing an be was still treated kindly by Matthew. Typically places like these will tell you they cant help you because their an my to close, but Matthew answered all of my questions and didnt make me feel rushed. Uptown Village is definitely at the top of my list now!

    I am a returning resident of MAA Uptown, I had such a great experience I decided to return. I did have a situation with my selected apartment which I informed the wonderful office staff, Jessica, and Jennifer. Without any hesitation, Matthew Kinzer the Assistant Property Manager reached out and fixed the issues immediately. If you would like to reside at a place that actually cares and leads with empathy; please do not look any further, this is the location for you. I want to thank each and every one of you for your care in making things better for me and my son. Big shout out to Matthew Kinzer he is definitely a great asset to MAA and I want all to know how wonderful he truly is too all. Continued blessings to MAA Uptown and the staff!!!!

    I absolutely adore Matt K in the leasing office. Hes always been super helpful whenever I have questions and makes me smile every time I see him. Matts my fave!I take one star off because the hallway ceiling by my door has been leaking for maybe 4? months now and thats not ideal.

    I went touring properties today for my cousin and just happened to be driving past MAA Uptown Village, so I decided to check this place out since I was already here. I had a tour with Matthew Kinzer and I must say I was very impressed with him and the property in general. He was able to answer all my questions, even my cousins whom I was FaceTiming with. We were joking and I told my cousin if I didnt already have a place I owned Id be moving here. Hopefully my cousin leases there. I think Matthew Kinzer would take good care of him.

    Iā€™ve lived here for around four months and so far itā€™s been really great. The location is wonderful, the neighborhood is walkable and feels safe. The front desk management is really great, every time I have to interact with them they are so quick and very kind. The maintenance is incredibly fast if you have a problem and the maintenance people are incredibly kind. Overall, this has been a great place to live.

    We have lived here 9 months and live in building 3. The maintenance gentleman, Jon, is the absolute best and is always responsive within 24 hours (if not same day). Bugs? Yes.. but hello its Dallas... request pest control and MAA sends them out ASAP.Since July, the community also has had brand new pool furniture, cleaned and painted the entire community and recently added new treadmills which made it easy to write this review. Its nice to see a corporation invest back into the property.I would suggest looking at building 2 or 3 since its off the freeway, these buildings are tucked in, quiet and we have always felt safe.If you look at ANY apartment complex there are negative reviews, Uptown Village truly just like any other apartment complex and is a fantastic rate for the Uptown area.

    Matt and Jess have been absolutely amazing. Both agents are incredibly helpful, transparent, prompt, honest, and kind. They were a TRAMENDOUS help when assistance was needed and made me feel heard, validated, and were quick to respond in a time sensitive situation. I have also noticed both of them take extra precaution to ensure the safety of their residents by removing rocks propping doors open, conducting routine site walkarounds, and engaging with their residents to familiarize themselves with tenets residing here. 10/10 experience and I highly recommend moving here! I wont lie, appliances are a tad outdated, but the sense of community and location 100% make it worthwhile!

    I just moved in a couple weeks ago, and my experience so far has been mostly positive. I did have a bit of a delay with maintenance coming to my unit to take care of a sulfur smell in my hot water, but that has been fixed now. Jessica at the leasing office is very sweet and has been a pleasure to work with. Road noise is surprisingly low in my unit, but I am still adjusting to the air traffic. Overall, Im reasonably happy with the decision to move to Uptown Village. I hope to make a lot of fun memories while Im here!

    I have lived at MAA Uptown for over a year and they have been great! I am only leaving because I need a three bedroom which I am going to another MAA property downnthe street. Tiffany and Val have always been awesome. I have had minor issues when it comes to the property and they have always made sure to get it taken care of quickly. The installation of the package room has been a game changer. As for the maintaince crew they are awesome. Anytime I have an issue theyre there the same day and if they cant get it fixed then they keep me updated. Would love to stay but just need something bigger!

    I really love where I live. For sure this is the only place Iā€™d live in Dallas. I have found the folks who work in the leasing office, especially Tiffany, to be a life saver. Tiffany watches my cats when Iā€™m off traveling and is very responsive to any questions I have about maintenance, packages or anything else. The apartment complex has a lot of new amenities such as a new package room and redone hallways. My apartment has a cute little balcony that oversees a courtyard. It feels bright, open and like the home Iā€™ve always wanted.

    I lived at Post Uptown for 2 years and loved it! The office staff are great, especially Sarah, Spenser, and Charli! They are quick to respond and always follow up. The maintenance team is quick when it comes to repairs and theyre so friendly on the property. Its an older complex so my unit did require lots of maintenance but since the staff was quick at fixing everything it wasnt a big deal. The complex is extremely pet friendly and they do not have breed restrictions. The location has easy access to the highway and close to so many great restaurants, bars, grocery stores and pharmacies. The gym is pretty small but it works. When I moved out the process was extremely easy and they even gave me my most of security deposit back! If youre thinking about moving here, do it!

    Iā€™ve lived here a couple of years now and I have really enjoyed it! The maintenance team is superb! Every service request Iā€™ve ever had has been completed within 24hours, which has impressed me.The leasing office have always been great to me, and I LOVE the location! Itā€™s so convenient to everything I want to do.There is traffic noise, and sometimes you see homeless people walking down the streets, but thatā€™s part of living in a big city. If youā€™re looking for luxury brand new everything, this is probably not going to be the ideal place, but I personally donā€™t mind if itā€™s not always up to date, for the price and location you canā€™t beat it!

    Ive been living here for about 2.5 years and Ive had an overall good experience. The apartments are outdated, but I chose to live here for the comfort of the location and because it is walking distance from my job. There is a wholefoods that is 2 blocks away and there are nice restaurants throughout the State Thomas area (which is walking distance). I have not had a security issue in this area; although I have heard of securities issues in the area (such as apts being robbed/ people getting robbed/ assaulted, etc) from the newsletter that the office sends whenever there is an issue of this kind. It also depends on the location, Uptown is a very busy area and you are going to find very interesting people walking around specially on the weekends. The area gets really loud on the weekend with people walking by drunk past 2 am. Overall, if you choose to live here or anywhere in Uptown/State Thomas you will come across the same scenarios. If you choose to live here it really depends on what you priorities are. Ex: if you are looking for a quite place with nice amenities, a nice pool, a nice gym etc, this is not going to be your ideal place. I choose to live here for the location, the comfort of having everything walking distance and the price. My neighbors are really nice and friendly too, so I dont have any complaints from that perspective. The people in the office are very nice too, everyone has a smile on and they are super helpful. When I call for maintenance they come within 24 hours; never have I had to wait more than 24 hours for them to fix something and if its urgent make sure you communicate it well and they will come within 20 minutes. Also, you have to treat them well and be nice and that will reciprocate and they will take care of you 100%. Overall Ive had a good experience and I hope that this review makes you make a smarter decision on your next move.

    As a new resident of Uptown Village, I must say that Iā€™m extremely impressed. Rating from the start of the process to moving In I experienced a management company that really strives to make the process as painless as possible. I experienced a small hiccup about two weeks after moving in and the property manager and leasing staff owned it and immediately took care of me. The property is well maintained, clean and in a safe neighborhood and the maintenance team has the most timely response to requests that I have ever seen. If you are looking for a place to live in Dallas or a new living experience, I would highly recommend Uptown Village. Thank you for all that you do!     I was drawn by the location and price but a bit skeptical of it being under such a huge company. However, I have been very pleased with my experience! Tiffany has been great, and all of my maintenance requests have been addressed within 1-2 days. I feel very safe in my building and have not had any security issues with my car or unit, which is absolutely a priority for me. I love being so close to Griggs Park and Whole Foods, and I am a BIG fan of State Thomas.Cons (which you probably will find anywhere in Uptown):Guest parking is scarce on weekendsPackage situation was a mess for a while (thx Amazon), but it has been resolvedOn outside units, you can hear the highway and people outside

    Fantastic staff. Great apartments, great rates, genuine maintenance team, and the BEST leasing agents. I loved the location and the apartment, but Sarah was the selling point. She was so genuine. After my tour with Sarah, I instantly was hooked and knew I needed to sign the lease ASAP. The maintenance team is so willing to help and genuinely cares for the safety of the residence.

    While I do see plenty of negative comments on here, we can honestly say our experience with the Post Uptown Village was excellent. Our lease was a 13 month/2 bedroom stay, and we never had a terrible problem arise. Management was quick to respond to maintenance fixes or questions we had, easy parking at any time of day, and are dog friendly (no breed restrictions and poop bags available on the sidewalks).The other tenants around us were respectful and overall pretty chill. Never had a problem with people partying too loud or too late into the night (hope that grammar is correct). We would definitely consider moving back if we decide to do Uptown again.

    Ive lived at Post Uptown Village for about 6 years now. Pretty much since I moved to Dallas. Ive loved it! You honestly cant be in a better area. The neighborhood is very cute, clean and safe. Walking distance to Whole Foods, gyms, restaurants, etc. The staff has been incredible. Spenser and Charli specifically are who Ive worked closest with and they are great! They truly make you feel like a valued resident.

    I lived at Post Uptown Village for about a year from the Fall of 2015 through the Summer of 2016. The property is located in Uptown, and you are definitely paying for this great location. Convenient access to the major highways in and out of Dallas. Walking distance to great restaurants and grocery stores. Front office staff was always friendly and professional, the maintenance crew handled any issues that may have come up in a quick and timely manner (never had any major problems with my unit). The front office accepts packages during office hours for their tenants convenience, and you are welcome to go find your package during regular office hours. My building was always quiet and I never had any major issues with my neighbors. Post charges the cheapest valet trash fee of any complex I have seen in Dallas ($5). You can find a large apartment for a good price depending on when you are looking to start a lease.There are a couple disadvantages to the property. As mentioned by others, things are spread out and you will have to go to different buildings to take advantage of the amenities (i.e., pools, fitness center, business center). The interior of the apartments can seem outdated relative to newer buildings in the same or neighboring areas. Washer/dryer connections are not in every apartment and you will have to use the laundry facilities, which often have broken machines and seemingly variable rates per load (anywhere from $1.00 to $1.50 per load in the washer or dryer).I enjoyed my time at Post Uptown Village and would definitely consider moving back in the future.

    I have lived here for 3 years in the same apartment and this is sadly my last year here as its just time for an upgrade, but Im definitely moving to another MAA managed property. The staff at Post Uptown Village are truly amazing, everyone is so friendly and helpful. There isnt a single issue that I havent had resolved same day. The maintenance team is so prompt, courteous and kind. The neighborhood is adorable and close to so much entertainment, you couldnt ask for a better Uptown location and Ive always felt safe. Throughout the Covid19 pandemic, the staff remained very informative and set on keeping all residents safe. Also, after the Dallas blizzard of 2021 this week weve kept water and power the entire time which I entirely thank the well prepared maintenance team for. The location and staff easily deserve 5 stars, my only reason for 4 is that for the price there can definitely be some upgrades to the property. Id like to see better lighting throughout the property, updated appliances, smart home technology, a better package delivery system and better enforcement on people cleaning up after their pets. Other than the small room to improve, I am going to deeply miss my Post Uptown Village family. Thank you for 3 years of memories and making Uptown home. I love you MAA and Post Uptown Village staff. Stay happy and healthy and keep up the great work.

    Iā€™ve had a wonderful first couple of months at uptown village! Tiffany and Val are so nice and have been super helpful with recommendations since I am new to Dallas. I was able to even transfer with MAA and save some money in doing so. I had a couple of move-in issues but the property manager Megan was super quick to respond to my problems and turn things around.

    This apartment has a great location! I LOVE being able to walk to so many of my favorite restaurants and bars! Its also so easy to hop on 75. The reason it didnt get full 5 stars is because it does have its faults.The fire places and fountains dont work in the courtyard, which is a bummer because Id like to spend time out there with a fire.A couple of the keys to the door code entry pad for guests to use do not work, so I have to leave to come open the door for them every time.There were reviews on here talking about homeless people wandering, and noise complaints. First of all, were next to downtown Dallas. The apartment does not attract homeless people, youre going to see homeless people in the downtown area regardless of what apartment it is.Secondly, uptown is known to have an active night life, and especially being so close to bars and restaurants, youll hear the occasional drunk person or loud car driving by. (Im on the first floor facing the street, and occasionally hear it, but its not constant).It is an older building, some of the units have been renovated, and some still have the older fixtures. Which I was fine with, I prefer a great location, but to each their own.The office has always been fast with responding, which is so appreciative. Ive had only one maintenance request and it was addressed within 24 hours.Im also always able to find parking in the garage! (which has been an issue at other places Ive lived in the past).If youre looking for new everything this probably isnt the place for you. But if youre okay with an older building, you really cant beat the location and price!

    I loved this apartment complex. I just recently moved out because I needed to be closer to work. I did have a few issues but the maintenance was always fast and the problem was fixed in a timely manner. The staff is so sweet and always helpful.     This place is actually very good. I have lived here for six years and have had an overall good experience. The property is well maintained, when I submit a maintenance request, it is completed right away, and the staff in the office are helpful. I have had some difficulty with noisy neighbors and people being loud outside, but other than that - everything has been good. The value is good - based on the quality of the complex, units could use some upgrading, but the location is great. I feel comfortable walking my dog outside at night in this area. I recommend Post Uptown Village.

Joey and Charli have particularly been spectacular. They do not have an easy job and they handle their duties with patience and poise.     Post Uptown Village Apartments are located in an awesome neighborhood (uptown/state thomas). Upon moving in, my neighbors were so kind and friendly. I had 1 issue in the apartment that Charli (Leasing Consultant) and Maintenance fixed in a professionally timely manner. If you move here, Charli is a fabulous Leasing Consultant. She truly cares about the residents of the apartment complex and will go far and beyond to make sure they are happy. The entire staff at the Leasing Office is SO kind, accommodating, and they deserve to be complimented in the highest regard. Also, I canā€™t forget Aldo, the maintenance man. Thanks Aldo for your hard work and professional expertise. These apartments are in a great location, have a wonderfully kind staff, awesome neighbors, and you are close to grocery stores, restaurants, and much more! 5 Stars!

    I love the community. Residents make use of the pool and amenities. It has a homey feel to it. Christine V. gave us our tour and she is very knowledgeable about the community and very nice. We plan to move to this community

    Ive lived here for two years and recently just purchased a home so I will be leaving. But I have to say this, this community and the staff are hands down amazing! The maintenance team is spot on and will fix your requests swiftly! If youre thinking about moving here, DO IT! Do not hesitate :)

    I love this apartment complex! My AC went out and since it was too late to have someone fix it, the maintenance man came down at 10pm to set up a window unit just so I could sleep comfortably. He is always so timely and friendly! Bri was amazing and helped me pick out an apartment that was unique and perfect for me! I could not be more happy with my time here thus far!

    This apartment has ups and downs like many places. Although this apartment complex isnā€™t perfect, Charli and Sarah from the front office were amazing to work with. They work very hard to make sure the residents are informed and heard. Hope they get raises since they have been helpful to SO MANY of us residents!

    I have been with the community for the past 3 months and I really like it. The management team has been very welcoming and all the issues or maintenance orders were taken care of in a timely manner. Very reasonable pricing and attractive location makes this spot a unique place among other uptown/downtown residential communities. I highly recommend it.

    I have lived in Post Uptown property for a little over a year. I truly feel at piece living here ! The staff are kind and very personal. Whenever u call the leasing office they always answer not one time have I called that Ashton didnā€™t answer the phone !!!With this being said no complex is perfect . However this one is perfect for me which is based on the followingExcellent Turn arournd regarding maintenance request most of the request are turned around within 3 hours of submission of request. They also survey after the maintenance request to ensure all is well.Property - The property is very secure and well kept. You will often see people taking care of the trees flowers as well as the overall up keep of the propertyPersonable - The staff truly want to make sure everyone residence expletive is a great one.Yes, Ashton is my favorite lol - however all will take care of you!!

    I lived here for 2 years (lived in Ravello and Villas at Katy trail previously) and this by far was the best apartment complex I lived in. Ravello had upgraded facilities - but the mail room, parking garage & service was terrible. Villas at Katy Trail was the cheapest, loudest, felt more like a college dorm - but great location. I felt like the Post Villages was the best combination of charm, location, affordability, & service. I never had a bad experience with the front staff - always friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt unsafe at night and loved the convenience of being equally close to uptown & klyde warren/downtown. I really enjoyed the electronic mail room where you could pick up your packages at off-hours. Never used the pool or gym. The only reason I moved is because I got married. Thank you Post Villages for a great two years!!

    Iā€™ve enjoyed living here so far! The staff has been so welcoming and helpful. The maintenance team is super knowledgeable and friendly. The location is my absolute favorite since itā€™s in uptown but itā€™s pretty quiet and not too close to the hustle and bustle.
