    Jose and Kailah (not sure if I spelled her name right) have made positive experience at MAA and have continued to be very helpful and make this experience overall pleasant! I left a low score review when I had originally moved in when it had diff management but after living here for two years I’ve had a very great experience. Maintenance team is responsive and helpful and front office as well! Renewed for a third year~ I like that it’s not a huge complex, it’s very homey and cozy!

    Jose has helped me so many times and greeted me with a warm and friendly smile every time I come into the office. He knows me by name and my unit number and it is such a nice personal touch. Im moving from a smaller unit into a bigger unit in this complex and my current lease ends before the new one begins. Jose made sure to take care of me so I would not be homeless for 10 days ensuring a seamless transition. Thank you Jose!! :)

    I have been living here about 6 months and have had a wonderful experience. As noted by others, the complex is quiet which is a necessity since I work from home. The office staff is friendly and maintenance respond quickly to requests. I love the area as well as it is close to several major shopping centers but the nature preserves nearby and landscaping keeps it from feeling like you are in a commercial area.

    Complex is great overall. Clean, quiet, maintenance responds quickly to requests, great and safe location. Issues are that my rent is higher than whats on the website even after living here for over 2 years, and several buildings have had issues with the pipes and the water has been shut off for days several times. Would still recommend.

    I’ve been living at MAA Sunset Valley for over 12 years. I recently changed units here. Jose was so very helpful and made my transfer experience effortless. Great customer service.I’d also like to add that our maintenance team is wonderful. So knowledgeable, efficient, and timely. Liam has gone above and beyond for me numerous times through the years. The team is so friendly and personable, as well as providing excellent service.

    Our talented maintenance team is the best! They are always friendly and courteous out on the property and they always respond to our maintenance requests quickly and effectively. They are talented fixers! And sometimes they go above and beyond the request to make things right.     MAA Sunset Valley apartments is a very convenient location where you are able to walk to many restaurants and shopping. The community is small and very quiet, and the Office Staff (Jose and Madison) was very friendly and provided excellent service . If you have any maintenance requests, they are very quick, and the Maintenance staff smiles and waives at you when you are walking around the community . I would recommend living here.I did not see the exact apartment before moving in.The only surprise was there is carpet in the dining and living room area, instead of hardwood/vinyl flooring like the pictures on the website. I was told that only the first floor has the hardwood/vinyl flooring in the dining and living room area. However, it is a great place to live!

    Ive only been living here for 3 months but have had an excellent experience so far. It is located in a very convenient location with easy access to Home Depot, Lowes, HEB, Total Wine, Costco, some decent restaurants and more.The staff has been great and responds really well through email and by phone. They are pleasant to talk to and seem to be very proactive. The maintenance has been really good to and follows up on things.Overall, Ive enjoyed my time here so far and have no complaints about this place. Its a great place to be.

    Very sophisticated property overall. The property is kept very clean and the maintenance staff is on top of any repairs. They also do monthly resident events which is a nice way of knowing we are appreciated and welcomed as residents. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and are always welcoming you with a neighborly smile. 10/10 recommend.

    I have to say, the property manager here is the best property manager I have ever encountered! She is so professional and at the same time cares so much for her residents. The entire office team is extremely efficient and really gets things done. I cant speak highly enough of her and her team!.

    I have lived at this property for a few years and my experience here has been great! The property is located in a nice area with plenty of places to shop and eat. It is surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery, and in my opinion is one of a kind. The people that work and live here are kind and helpful. Neighbors look out for one another and the staff are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure the residents are well taken care of and have what they need. I would definitely recommend living here.

    We love the community and the environment; we very much appreciate the MAA office and staff personnel. The MAA maintenance team is prompt and efficient in responding to our requests. We happen to enjoy the ideal location in the entire community: backed up to the woods, home to various species of birds as well as deer, squirrels, coyotes, racoons and opossums.     I’ve been a resident here for quite a while. I love my home! That’s what I feel like here. The maintenance people have all been fabulous throughout the years and are quick to respond to any needs. The office has been kind and helpful. I love that my complex isn’t huge and I know some neighbors who have been here for years, also.

    Best move-in experience my husband and I have EVER HAD, and we move a lot. Grand Reserve team is top notch - we feel that that is one of the universal issues with most complexes, generally the front office staff and maintenance team just could care less. Complex is in a prime location: walkable to many stores and restaurants. Accessibility to get in and out of the complex is pretty easy as well. Gym was recently renovated and is generally empty. Unit has been renovated and kept up well. Units and complex overall are very well priced for location what you get. We should have moved here a couple of years ago instead of The Preserve at Travis Creek (yea, I mentioned the old complex by name because it PAILS in comparison to The Grand Reserve - beware of shiny objects). Thanks to everyone, especially Alyssa, for making the transition pretty darn painless!

    We have loved living at the Grand Reserve! The only reason we are leaving is because we need more space, and they dont have exactly what we need available in another unit at this time. The best thing about this apartment complex is its location - the complex itself backs directly into miles and miles of Sunset Valley trails, but you are also really close to Barton Creek Greenbelt, Twin Falls, Sculpture Falls and others. We are going to miss having the direct connection to Mopac & 290, and being able to get to Barton Springs or Downtown in 10 minutes. The office girls are always friendly and helpful - we have forgotten our house key several times and they are always ready with a spare. We especially appreciate Kayleigh, who is super helpful and always happy to answer any questions we have had. Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly & effectively, and other than some of the parking spaces being kind of small/close together, we have never had trouble finding a spot near our building. But the location alone will be enough to convince anyone to live here. It was a perfect apartment for me and my fiance for our first year living in Austin.

    Ive lived in a few different apts here in Austin over the past 7 years. Grand Reserve is by far the best complex Ive lived at. Its a great location, small community and has great access to getting around the city. Maintenance is top notch and office staff is always professional.

    Excellent, friendly staff who genuinely care about making this place a great home for tenants—Jane runs a great team—a responsive maintenance team, steady improvements to amenities (recently overhauled gym, pool undergoing update now). Pretty fair space for the money, and the fit and finish of the units is excellent.Grounds are very well kept and beautiful—lots of natural Hill Country foliage remains in and around the complex. Neighbors generally do a good job of cleaning up after their pets, and random dog parties at the on-site dog park are always fun.The parking lot can get pretty packed in the evenings, but neither us nor our guests have ever not been able to find a spot. The covered spots are priced fairly and in great enough supply to generally get one where you want it.Literally the only reason we ended up moving away is the location—but thatll probably only apply to you if youre someone who likes being in the capital C-city. Not much more than big-business chain shopping within walking distance, and the Mopac commute downtown isnt always the most fun.But all told, this place is an oasis. Easily the best place Ive lived in town since moving here.

    We have an unusual situation, 3 roommates with only one having some credit issues (imagine that.) We worked with Dylan who was able to qualify us on the strength of the other two, instead of dismissing us out of hand. We are very happy to easily meet all requirements and get a nice place to live, just because he listened to us - many others had not bothered. Thanks!

    I am so grateful to have a maintenance staff who works with my fluctuating schedule. Robert, hands down, is a lifesaver. Fixed all of my work orders in one visit. He always answers my questions and shows me exactly what he did. I know things are always busy, but thank you Robert for going above and beyond.

    Only rated 5 star so people will see this review and hopefully make a better decision regarding choosing an apartment. If you enjoy living with bugs, broken AC, and mold coming through the vents, then this is the place for you. The office staff is constantly changing, and have little to no knowledge about finding solutions to problems for the residents.

    I just re-signed my lease, going into my 4th year living here! Ive lived in both 2 bed/2 bath and 1 bed/1 bath units. The location is great for the price and the complex in general is well taken care of. All of the ladies in the office (and maintenance staff) are great to work with and have always respondedly speedily to requests. I would reccommend if youre searching!
