    The location is convenient to places and to the highway. Quite community and the office and maintenance are awesome. The office does things for their tenets. Maintenance works the orders quickly. If you want a place that has room in the apartment and staff that cares this is the place to be!24 hr fitness room-free weights and machines.Pool is clean and well kept.Mailbox is covered from the weather.Walking trail.Lots of grills and picnic areas.Valet trash is cool.

    Really great maintenance staff and customer service. Very responsive and attentive. Apartment complex is quiet and pretty clean. Nice amenities and facilities especially the walking trails and nature areas.Some of the items in the apartment needed updating and replacement upon move in. Overall been happy with the service provided here. Very dog friendly and nobreed restrictions.

    Jordan here at MAA is absolutely fantastic! He was very welcoming and warm from the moment I walked in. He greeted me right away and asked all the right questions to show me my perfect unit. Even after the unit was shown I told Jordan that there was a few other apartments I wanted to see and he encouraged that. He genuinely cares about what is the right fit for you even if it’s not here at MAA. I looked at a few other apartments and they did not give me the same feels that Jordan and MAA gave. It’s important to have a friendly and professional management company. I called Jordan the next day if I could look at the unit one more time and instead of being dismissive like other places have - he told me to come on down. When I got here same as the day before he was so friendly, so welcoming and so warm. He showed me the unit one more time and gave me space to just feel the home and with that I completed and application right there on the spot! I’m so thankful for Jordan making this process smooth, easy, and comforting. Coming from WA state and not knowing anything or anybody Jordan and MAA made me feel like I finally have a home down here! Thank you Jordan

    First week in and just want to say how impressed I am by the office staff (Jordan is on top of it) and especially the maintenance staff, in particular Dre went above and beyond helping me with minor move in fixes today. He even helped me install my own shower head and taught me how do it in the future. He saw things while he was here that i didnt even notice needed to be fixed, and took care of it. Very professional, kind, and efficient. Happy with my choice to lease here so far!

    Keep guys like this around on your maintenance crew!!!Dre was exceptional. He completed the service quickly and efficiently. I appreciated that he communicated clearly throughout the process, announcing his presence each time he entered or exited the property. He demonstrated professionalism from the start, introducing himself, shaking my hand, and presenting his work order for verification before commencing any work. I am grateful for his efficient service and his courteous demeanor.This service exceeded my expectations and was the most positive experience I have encountered during my time at this property. I typically do not submit many work orders as most things I fix myself simply to avoid random men idk in and out of my home. However, Dres exceptional service and professionalism truly merit recognition. I would greatly appreciate it if Dre could be assigned to any future service requests at this property whenever possible

    My family and I lived here for about 2-3 years and it was a great place to live in! Every time we needed maintenance, they came right away. I would suggest renting a parking spot so that you don’t have to park far away. The creek is my favorite part! Very family friendly environment.The only thing is that the move out costs are very high. Yes, some were for minor damages but there are random fees also.Shout out to Mariah and Ruth! They are awesome. Overall, great experience. Would definitely move here again!

    Mr. Dre in maintenance is always super friendly and I always see him picking up trash in the parking lot everyday. He always says hi when you pass by, he’s even gave me advice while i was working on my car. Stand up guy and he always takes care of any needs as fast as possible with a smile on his face. Always a pleasure to cross paths with Mr. Dre in the complex.

    I’ve been in my new home almost a week now and I have no complaints! I’d like to shout out the leasing team for making this process as easy as possible! Especially to leasing agent Tupou!! She literally held my hand from my initial inquiry til now. Any & every question and concern I had she jumped right on top of it. Even after being moved in she still called to check in. I feel so safe and enjoy seeing all the friendly faces!

    K and Dre came by my apt to change the kitchen light. Both were very professional and did a wonderful job swapping out the old light with LED light. Both went the extra mile to go to Homedepot and get a new one right away. Very satisfied! Thank you.

    Truth is weve been looking for another apartment in a different area of town. Its been very difficult because of the maintenance department. Theyre all very professional. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Dre has come in the middle of the night to help with a water leak.

    Lived here for over a year. I love how quiet it is and how accommodating the office staff is. The only thing I wish is that my unit had upgraded/stainless steel appliances! Id transfer so fast if they had the option!

    I’ve lived here for a while and experienced different property managers, office staff, and maintenance team members. I have to say that the newest maintenance manager, David F. really cares about restoring this property and having it live up to the MAA brand standards! He’s proven to be the best by far!! He always greets me with a smile and is extremely professional. Since he’s been on board, I’ve definitely seen a noticeable difference in the ground keeping and the timeliness of work orders being completed and he ensures it’s done right the first time! Kudos to David and the entire maintenance team for all of your hard work and dedication to making this a community to be proud of for MAA and their tenants.

    I must say I love my apartment . I will be moving out in September because it’s a bit expensive (but everything seems to be going up all over the world , except the wages ). Overall they fix things in a timely manner and the office staff is awesome!! They try to keep the property up really well. Neighbors for the most part mind their business and are respectful of others. I moved in 8/18/21 and moving out 9/17/2023. Had the rent been raised so high I would have stayed. I tried to pay on time all the time However was late a couple of times and they worked with me due to my situation. I moved in on a good note and plan to leave on a good note as well.

    David Fisher with maintenance is SO AMAZING. Our AC went out this summer and someone came out to add Freon, but it still wasn’t keeping up with the heat. Mr. Fisher helped us out and fixed our AC and it’s been awesome since. He came out today to fix my dishwasher and had it done so fast!! He’s always respectful and quick and he always gives me the inside scoop on what broke, lol.

    Wonderful staff who have made sure that our time at Shoal Creek has been worry free and convenient! There are always there to assist us with any issue we run into and it’s always service with a smile! Sommers has been particularly amazing and always makes our day brighter when we stop by the front office! :) They have been spending time working on the grounds around the apartment buildings and it makes for a beautiful and scenic walk around the creek! So lovely!

    My experience with MAA Shoal Creek has been phenomenal. Sommers was my leasing agent a little over a year ago when we first moved in, and she helped make sure everything went smoothly and that we had all the information needed at move in. Our apartment was gorgeous upon move in, and the maintenance has been great about taking care of any issues as they come up. Happy to be renewing for another year!

    Ive lived here for two years and found it to be affordable, well maintained, and safe. The office staff is always helpful and responsive--particularly Gianna who is especially professional and informative. Most maintenance requests are handled within a couple of days, quicker for emergencies. The property manager Andrew just arranged for my carpets to cleaned at no cost to me, which was awesome. And I love the creek and all the mature trees! Ill be renewing my lease for another year.

    The good: friendly staff and a clean and apparently safe community. Apartment is painted with good quality paint and in a warm and inviting hue instead of the cheap white paint that you come to expect in apartments.The bad: several deficiencies were noted on move in, including missing screen on a window, bedroom door with a 4 inch dent in it that looks like someone punched it. Broken bathroom doorknob (that’s being addressed by maintenance) poorly batched over hole in a bathroom cabinet door and not one set of blinds was without damage. Outside of the doorknob nothing has been replaced or fixed.

After meeting Rosa’s bubbly personality and welcoming spirit, I felt I came to the right place immediately!! She took time to listen and address me questions and concerns.     Three months in, and loving living here. The apartment is really nice. All the natural light coming through is healthy and uplifting. The grounds are beautiful day and night. Ive yet to walk the path that surround the place.The office staff and maintenance are very nice and helpful.Pet friendly community. Nice to see. My two cats and I enjoy sitting on our spacious balcony at night. Quiet and peaceful.Seeing so many big trees everywhere is also very nice.The air conditioning, even on the third floor is surprisingly good.Overall, so far, its a pretty good place to stay.

    I have lived in the community for one year now and I can say Ive enjoyed my time here. Nice, quiet, safe. Maintenance keeps the community clean, I see them almost every day riding around, picking up trash and maintaining the pool area. The walking trail is a nice addition. I had a problem with my toilet after hours, I called the after hours number and left a voicemail and thought they wouldnt get back to me but they came about 40 minutes later so that was cool. Never have any problems with bugs (I live on the 3rd floor). My only dislikes would be 1. that my apartment is not updated in cabinets or appliances and for a 1 bedroom I feel is a bit overpriced. 2. They require the tenant to pay for carpet cleaning when moving out, which is the first neighborhood Ive come across with that policy. 3. During the summer heat it is hard to keep my apartment cooled (but hey it is really hot in the summer so I guess you can only do so much)I am moving out in search of something better suiting for my budget but I will sincerely miss this neighborhood.

    Safe Clean Wonderful staff. Feels like family. Great maintenance. No Bugs. Nice and quiet. I don’t ever hear my neighbors. It’s a little pricey but you pay for what you get. I Love the community. Close to airport but yet I don’t hear a lot of planes. Great area to get out walk around get some exercise they have two great swimming pools a wonderful workout facility. And gated community.

    Ive lived here for a little over 2 months now. I love it. Their front office staff is great!! The only complaints are the lack of parking, rent cost after all the add-ons that you cant opt-out of, and I live on the corner of a very loud intersection. Other than that, all of my neighbors are kind. I live on the second floor with people above me and its not too loud. I recommend these apartments if you can afford them and can pay for covered parking.

    Ive lived here for almost 3 years, and for the most part its been great. The apartment layout is awesome, and the management is friendly and maintenance is quick. I do have a few complaints, but they are minor if they dont bother you. The trash service is almost $40 a month, and I could do without it. The cable is mandatory, but its only $50, and if you want cable thats cheap. Covered parking is not included. Usually this isnt a problem, but if you ever come home after 10PM be prepared to walk across the complex from your parking spot. Other than these things I dont really have a lot to complain about. Weve really enjoyed our time here!

    Great apartment. The floor plans are awesome, the appliances have worked well, and the porches are huge and awesome. The office staff is really friendly and any maintenance ticket gets done quickly. Never really had a problem. The only complaint I have is the non-optional cable and trash services. The cable is $50, which is cheap for cable, but Id rather just not have it, which is not a choice. And as for the trash, its $38 a month and Id really just rather take my own trash to the dumpster. But those 2 things really arent enough to make me not like it here, everything else is great!

    The grounds are also kept nice. The maintenance staff is the best. The office staff are always there willing to help in any way possible. The rent could possibly be lowered. The reason is these are not updated apartments but still very nice. The location is perfect, so close to DFW airport, shopping, etc.

    We have lived in the complex for going on 10 months and they’ve been amazing every step of the way. We moved from another state and we’re unable to see the apartment or properly meet the front office so we were very nervous but they made the process incredibly wonderful and completely alleviated any stress we had. They were also available to answer any questions and they answered quickly :) Fast forward to covid and they were incredibly understanding and patient with the residents regarding loss of income and late rent payments. Gianna and Angel are fantastic and I have their emails saved because I know when I contact them I’ll be treated with kindness and patience. My mother lives in this complex, as well as my brother in law and my fiancé and I. We all recommended it to each other if that tells you anything about the quality of life living here :) Maintenance is wonderful as well. I put in a work order for a couple of non urgent things and within an average of 3 days they were fixed perfectly. When I had an electrical emergency I called the emergency line and within 5-10 minutes someone was at my door to help me and the front office called shortly after that to ensure everything was taken care of properly. This is a really great place to call home and I am excited to stay here until my fiancé and I are ready to buy a house :)

    Well maintained apartments. It is a quiet, safe, and gated property with a washer and dryer offered at competitive price for the DFW metroplex area. Lots of trees too! Keeps the property very cool. Raul and his maintenance team are chill and respect your privacy. Trash valet service has improved significantly over the past 6 months. I just recently renewed my lease for another year.

    I am on my second lease at the property and am not only satisfied, but really enjoy living here. Love the floor plan, and have great neighbors. Office staff and maintenance staff have ALWAYS been professional and courteous. Maintenance requests have ALWAYS been handled in a timely manner.The only reason a star was lost, was for the first year I lived here the east gate only worked about 30% of the time in our gated community. Normally wouldnt be a big deal, but a sore subject after spending the money for the gate remotes. Same sore subject after the gate upgrade and still cant use the remote.

    Im laughing at all the displeased comments. I guess Im fortunate I live on a third floor unit high ceilings, clean, smells good, fresh carpet, everything works and no one above me. No one wears shoes in my place. Take them joints off at the door. Its been a decent 1.5yrs.Problems: can hear loud talking and loud cars occasionally from outside, neighbors music too loud maybe once every blue moon, roof leak in garage fixed, maintenance will fix what they can but within a reasonable amount of time, dont need the cable theyve fixed in the rent.All that said I cant complain. Bills are decent if you understand the market. And mostly all the neighbors in this address are quiet and nice. Police patrols the complex during late hours that should count for something. My parking space is 97% available.

    I almost totally disagree with the negativity of the first reviewer. I have found that the office personnel are quite polite & helpful. I have great neighbors, including a young couple with a 3yr old across the hall. Neighbors I have are NOT trash! Nor am I, a retired professor. Well kept grounds & helpful maintenance folks. My calls are always answered. I think you should seriously consider this place. Its convenient to restaurants & an awesome movie theatre where one can order food & beverages that are delivered you your seat. A positive attitude garners positive reactions.. Negativity breeds more negativity.

    This is an amazing apartment complex. Not only are the grounds well kept, the apartments are very nice and you to date, but the staff are incredibly helpful. I have nothing butt great experiences with Bekka and Erin. They are amazing people and always willing to help no matter what it takes.

    We love our apartment and the front office staff. And our rent isnt bad either. We have had a pretty decent experience so far. Unfortunately though parking sucks, especially for those of us who dont work normal hours. This is why I only give them 4 stars. We have had to park outside the gates many many times. Sometimes we have even got the last spot outside of the gate. Not sure what happens if you are the poor person who cant even snag a spot by the office. The only covered spot options are literally at the opposite end of our building and sadly seems like we will be forced to pay for one of those few still available just so we can park inside the complex. Way too many people have garages just to fill them with junk instead of cars. Some people even have a garage they fill with junk and then a covered spot for their car. Its very frustrating for those of us who would actually park their car in the garage leaving spots for those who dont have reserved parking. I wouldnt recommend the complex for young women who work odd hours cause there is a very good chance you will have to walk from the leasing office outside the gate all the way to your building on the opposite end of the complex in the middle of the night unless you can be one of the lucky few who can actually get a reserved spot but most of them are full and there is no waitlist. Just have to constantly check with the office in hopes its your lucky day and someone moved out who had a spot. Outside of parking though its a great complex with a great office staff/maintenance staff and would deff recommend it if you dont mind the parking issues.

    I toured here with my best friend and WOW Ive never felt so welcomed!!! Erin is seriously the best leasing specialist Ive ever came across! I have to write a review about her and the property literally the BEST experience ever! She had us laughing the whole time! I have toured many places and I will definitely remember our experience here! Im super happy Ill be getting to visit my best friend at her new home!

    We have lived here for 10 years and the office staff seems to change every 2-3 years. The maintenance people turn over, in most cases, all too frequently. The maintenance of our apartment was typically responded to within 1 to 3 days and has been appreciated.The green areas of the complex are generally good. The location of our building needs new sod or seeding to repair grass areas.The complex was reroofed and repainted a short time ago as of this writing on October 9, 2020. The current Manager, Andrew Smith, is outstanding.The area of our complex is in Bedford, Texas and the City of Bedford has excellent response of police, fire and emergency medical services (ambulance). The complex is ½ mile from Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford Hospital (HEB Hospital). Being 70 years old, I have had to make hospital trips more than once and that facility is very good.There are many city parks in close proximity. The suburbs between Dallas and Fort Worth are all very good in services and entertainment areas. We are located 14 miles east of Fort Worth and 23 miles west of Dallas.Hopefully this will assist anyone reading it.

    Very welcoming people at these apartments. Nice view. However, the apartment we got smells extremely of smoke! It is of course not a pleasing smell and wish they would have already fixed it in advance!

    Ive been a resident here at shoal creek for 5 years now, what was supposed to be a 14 month lease has lasted this long because of the VERY SAFE, clean and lovely environment, timely response to work orders cudos to the very professional maintenance crew and the wonderful ladies at the front office who take time off to patiently resolve concerns whenever i call on them which Ill honestly say is very numerous( anyone with young kids would understand why)I Would very much recommend shoal creek apartment to any family looking for an apartment thats just like a home, the best part for families with young kids is that the schools within proximity have good ratings....
