    Only 5 star because of maintenance staff like Mark who will save the day after working hours ended.Otherwise be careful and know this is an older property with a lot of issues in terms of cleanliness and maintenance as a result.Neighbors don’t help with poor hygiene inviting pests across the property.They finally renovated the mail boxes after months of vandalism and having to go to the post office for mail. Let’s see how long these boxes survive.

    My perspective for this apartment complex has changed since looking at this property in September 2024!! Im honestly not happy with the way this property and MAA corporation handles any issues. I was blindsided when they offered me a special on a two bedroom unit. Did a self guided tour and couldn’t believe the things that made me turn away from the unit! The unit was not walked properly, you can see where the apartment was not inspected due to mold in the ceilings, storage closet completely nasty and filled with bad stains. Restroom storage, and cabinets infected by water damage, dog poop on the back stairwell. Roach in the bedroom closet, missing light fixtures, not walk through ready. Honestly just a complete mess!!!I went back to the office to inform the staff of the issues that were missed. But they stated they would have someone rewalk the unit, but at that moment I decided I didn’t want that particular apartment. I asked if they had other unites that were available and they provided two options. Did a walk through in both units and found the one I liked. Went back to the office and let them know about the unit I wanted to lease out, sadly they informed that I would be charged a $100 transfer fee for changing units when I hadn’t moved into the apartment yet. So be careful upon signing a lease prior.Since living here I’ve completed several maintenance request and only one has been completed so far out of the last 4 months. The apartments are filled with stray cats, and to many raccoons. The unit I currently live in seems to continuously fall apart from the patch work. And tonight I’ve suffered from someone breaking into my car scattering all of my personal belongings , and stealing personal property. I would highly recommend this complex and MAA Association to resolve the issues and maintain their values of safety, comfortable living, protecting property as well as the residents.

    My tour experience of the appartment community was incredibly positive . Ask for Justin when you go tour this place. He was super friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, made sure all my questions were answered clearly . The apartment itself was exactly as advertised, clean and well-maintained . I truly appreciated the warm welcome from Justin and would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great place to live in Las Colinas.

    Amazing maintenance service. I put in a work order to fix a bunch of things and within the same day Reggie came by and fixed everything. Service was very quick, efficient, and everything I needed help with was done within the hour. Reggie was also very friendly and went the extra mile to find a replacement part we needed.

    Mark has come to replace or repair many things and he’s always professional and efficient. As a woman living alone and having male maintenance personnel it can be uncomfortable, but never the case with Mark or any personnel. My request is always answered in a timely fashion as well.I wish we didn’t have trees surrounding the back pool so it stays cleaner longer. However they do their best to keep both pools clean and open all summer.Would love to see more community activities and events for residents.

    Today, my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of viewing an apartment with the amazing Kyle Knowles. He was extremely kind-hearted and very helpful. He answered all of my questions with ease, and he really made my day. I cant wait to become apart of this amazing community. Thank you again Kyle! (This man needs a raise for all the hard work and effort he puts towards this building and job!!!)

    Put in request for maintenance to fix my kitchen switch via app and within an hour Mark came over to fix the issue and went ahead and took care of our laundry door in no time. Great service and Mark is a very friendly guy. Thank you guys!

    From the beginning the leasing agent Megan G, ( Remington Hills) was friendly , helpful, informative and took time and went to great lengths to look up the units that accommodated my needs and desires.I asked if I wanted to rent at another MAA apartment would that keep her from her commission and she said and I quote “ I’m not concerned with that , you may apply here but we just want to make sure your needs are met and hopefully under the MAA umbrella”I applied that day due to her and strictly her.I cancelled any other appt I had with other non MAA apartments and since have been approved .The process was quick and painless.The prices are great and I am excitedThank you Megan G ( Remington Hills) 😇Jennifer B

    I have washer issue my washer is not working. My request was promptly considered and special thanks to Mr. Fernando Mejia who did a wonderful job in not only fixing all the issues but also handled few other things such as replacing filter while he was here.     Todays date is April 18, 2023. I am vey disappointed in the top and lower level of MAA management. I mean from the cooperate office to the local management here in Las Colinas Remington Hills Apt have been irresponsible. I have been here 2 1/2 years with two MAJOR disappointments.1st -- After moving in on 2020(I believe), I had to be immediately moved (a month later) to another apartment due to the UNCLEANLINESS OR UNHEALTHY apartment that I had moved into. This decision was made after I had reported through maintenance requests that the apartment was very dusty and unclean. In other words, it was not ready for move-in. The apartment that I moved in (still here) met my satisfaction; but later on I noticed that though it was clean, the apartment had paint spots on the floor, white tape in the bathtub(I guess to avoid cleaning the tub or replacing it, mode water stains around the door frame entrance into the bathroom. and the like. Now,2 years go by without any major concerns, then the following happen and went unresolved for a month -- February 2023 ==>1. requested lock and key for outside storage--> quickly done2. request dishwasher part broken -- resolved ; but left the broken part in the sink3. requested faucet of facebowl --> resolved; but this was left undone from and earlier request4. requested for kitchen light fixture --> went unresolved and unattended for a whole month5. request-- air conditioning was not working --> went unresolved and unattended for a whole month; then when it was attended, the problem still persisted -- no air conditioning.6. request--- dryer went unresolved and unattended for a wholemonthIt was not until March 24, 2023, that all my issues were resolved by I believe--> Marquis Rousseau. He fixed problems from steps5 & 6 in 15 to 45 minutes. Thanks to Mr. Rousseau.Finally --> Between late February 2023 and March 24, 2023 I periodically informing the Remington Hills office staff that I still had unresolved issues --> I actually thought that they cared about a resident but also a resident in very good standing. There were occasions that I went to the office about my problems, they acted like they were right on the issue, but they were not being honest. Also, I went as far contacting the corporate office on Thursday, March 16, 2023; someone supposed to have called me back from corporate; but that never happened. Finally, I just succumb to the point that my issues will only be resolved WHENEVER!BUT THANKS TO MR. MARQUIS ROUSSEAU!!!!!P.S. For the person that supposedly fixed the kitchen lights, not Mr. Rousseau, that person left a bolt undone on my kitchen floor and the other screws were not completely tighten. Thus, I had to tighten the screws my. Supposed if the light covering would have fell on my head or fell off period. This is ridiculous-- someone in top management should address these ongoing issues.

    The new units as well as the updated units are very nice 👍🏽 Maintenance is good and the front office people are very kind and quick to address issues. They let you know when your maintenance requests have been completed and they offer you a chance to rate the work. The pricing recently has been a bit high but management has responded and brought some prices to a more reasonable amount. I have lived here over three years, so I’ve seen all the good and all the bad. The good definitely outweighs the bad. Yes there are some areas that management is challenged in getting addressed, but they are trying to address many of the concerns quickly and trying to make our community an even more comfortable place to live.

    Wow. I see so many negative comments on here. This is a very large complex and the buildings are quite old, but my apartment at least had been updated nicely and is very comfortable. I dont doubt that there are residents here who have the issues they are saying they have. But my apartment building is not infested in any way and I have been very comfortable. Any time I have a maintenance issue, it is taken care of right away, and the maintenance crew are polite and respectful. I have never had any issues with the office staff being anything but polite. I just want to make sure that its noted that not everyone here is unhappy. Its clear that the both the apartments and parking lot are in need of work, but they are working diligently to address the issues. They cant help that the ground moves so much in this area. Houses have the same problem. I have only been here 4 months and Ive seen crews repairing the parking lots all over, crews repairing stucco on the buildings, crews out to repair windows damaged by a recent hail storm. They always keep us updated on any repairs taking place. They offer resident events and breakfast. They keep fireplaces and alarms up to code. Honestly, I just want anyone considering moving here to know that they are doing their best and there may well be buildings that have infestations, but definitely not all of them.

    The staff is great. So helpful and polite if I need anything. I live on the 3rd floor so due to hot air rising I think the a/c unit might just be outdated and can’t keep up so it can be a little warm in the hotter part of the day. The staff came urgently for any maintenance request I’ve made, literally the same day in each instance, so I’m super impressed with that. I’ve been here 3 months, and so far so good.

    I really want to write my feedback for Lisa, property manager with 5 stars for her.She is straightforward, honest and polite. She always cordial and willing to help all the residents. She is enthusiastic, energetic and displays positive behavior.She maintains good customer service relations, even under stress. She always looks for ways to streamline procedures to improve efficiency and customer service.All residents feel comfortable coming to her with questions and comments. She often offers workable solutions to problems and uses good judgment in solving problems and working with others.

    Last Saturday my daughter and I came to tour the apartment complex. Seem like a nice place. I have a friend that live in the same complex. She seems to like it. I have never heard her complaint about the things I read in the reviews. The reviews really make me second guess if I want to move here. I’m still looking for a place. Only because I don’t like the fact you have to pay gas. But Ashley Cloud was awesome to us, and she also reached out afterwards. This place still is one of the top favorite apartments in that area. I’m hoping all the other issues have been fixed. Because it’s very concerning, to hear about pest and maintenance issues.

    I think this is a great community. The park is just right across the street and is buzzing with activity seems like every night. The people in the office are very kind and helpful. If they dont have the answers immediately, theyll find them. Thats been my experience and it gets better each day I wake up here.
