    I have lived here for going on 3 years, and I cant say enough good things. I have lived in 4 different apartment complexes across Uptown, and MAA Phase 1 has been the best experience. I am constantly blown away by how fast the maintenance staff is (shout out Miguel!). I put a request in at 11:10AM and he was at my door at 11:15AM and completed the requests in less than 5 minutes. The rent is affordable, the maintenance staff is quick and efficient, and the location is unbeatable. Would recommend!

    I loved living here. If I didnt move away to be closer to my daughter I would neever have left. MAAC runs thing so well that its happened a few times where I needed a thing or two done and the maintenance crew is knocking on my door five minutes later. Ive never seen any ral estate compny take greater pride of ownership or have better service. Everyone who you interact with is professional and makes you feel like a VIP. I like in Phase two on Cole where the pool is spectacular and the weightroom is fantastic. Its also a phenomenal area with everything.

    When I encounter an emergency maintenance issue in my apartment, the entire maintenance team was extremely quick to respond and get everything fixed. They were extremely professional and did an amazing job with repairs. Specific shoutouts to Mr. Gary, Peter, Juan, and Geraldo for all the amazing work that they do at this community. In addition, the management team is kind and professional.

    Great Value for Uptown. You cannot beat the price in Uptown for the location and amenities. The office staff is readily available and a pleasure to work with. Stephaine, in particular, has made the last 1.5 years (across two units) a breeze. Security is better than other complexes in Uptown, even the more expensive ones. Garages and entrances are locked, although gates are sometimes left open due to damage, there is 24-hour security. You may forego some fancier amenities (no one ever uses them anyway) but still have everything you need, plus some.

    Lived in a 2-bedroom for a year in Phase 1 and only moving due to work. I’ve had a great experience living here, with virtually no maintenance issues. It’s an older building and the 2-bedroom we’re in is cozy (kitchen is very tiny), but they have all new appliances and it’s a property that’s taken care of well.Location is great, less noisy than expected, and well-secured, with gates across the whole property. Nothing super fancy but it’s a great value for the location, pool and gym amenities, and the units themselves. Having garage parking is this area is a huge benefit that you won’t find at a lot of places in Dallas without a very high cost. I prefer not to pay for valet trash so I like that, and the package system is pretty safe (no stolen packages) and easy to use.The only annoyances/problems I’ve had here are below:With less than a 24 hour notice (4 weeks before move-out), we were asked to completely clear our kitchen and bathroom counters so contractors could enter for renovation measurements. We’re both moving out over a week prior to the lease end anyways, but property management was firm that the measurements had to be taken that week. Big hassle on short notice for people with busy schedules and fully living in our apartment still.I’d say the biggest risk or downside of living here would be the safety/vandalism factor. Mailboxes were broken into and we had mail delivered to a post office 15 mins away for a few months, and it always took nearly an hour to get your mail even if there were hardly any customers there, since USPS universally sucks.I also had my car broken into overnight on the street (parked there for convenience one night), so I recommend never parking your car on the street at night. The garage is security patrolled so there’s no need to risk it with street parking.One recommendation to property management is to require a key fob to enter the garage while within the complex, or offer electronic/code (not key fob) entry back into the complex from the garage. That’s probably overkill and I’m just forgetful, but I know I can’t be the only one who has locked themselves in the garage accidentally. Since the stairs and elevator aren’t accessible from the garage, you have to walk all the way down the garage to the ground floor and around the building to re-enter without a key fob (5 minute detour). Also the doors to the garage slam and could use hydraulics for a slower close.Overall, safety in the area could be better but security and property management do what they can and issues are addressed as needed. I would recommend living here, a lot more pros than cons!

    Monte and Miguel did a great job resolving my work orders in a timely manner and went the extra mile to install a different color light bulb at my request. Great response time, professional, and courteous.

    Surprised by some of the negative reviews - I’ve had a very positive experience so far! The front desk staff is very professional and responsive and the maintenance workers have been prompt and kind. The location is central to many things, and I feel very safe walking around at all hours. The building itself is well-kept, and I often see workers around cleaning and maintaining the grounds. Overall would recommend this complex if you are looking for a reasonably priced spot in uptown!

    Overall very satisfied with my experience with MAA McKinney Ave. Over my two and a half years living at this property I experienced overall pleasant and positive experiences with both office management and maintenance. I did have 2-3 times early on in my lease where my car was towed due to misinformation from my leasing agent as well as issues with the parking garage gate that damaged my vehicle, in which MAA rectified the situation but overall very pleasant. Great location if you enjoy walking to bars, brunch or local shops. Maintenance of the building and quality of the apartment interiors could be nicer but for the price I do believe it was fair. Clara and Daniel in the office were helpful when it came to any concerns.

    I have been living 4 years in the apartment complex and it has been an awesome experience. Friendly management, decent facilities in an excellent neighborhood, very walkable and surrounded with great services. The parties for the community members organized by MAA are a great opportunity to know new people and to make community. I will miss the complex!!! Very recommendable.

    I love the location and layout of this apartment building but what sets it aside from all other apartments is the staff! They have been so helpful and hard-working, I have never seen service like this at an apartment complex. Daniel at the front desk is always ready to help. Not only does he listen, he takes immediate action! I requested some help with a clogged bathroom drain and one worker, Justin, came to fix it immediately in a very professional manner! If you like the floor plans, this is the cherry on top that puts this place above all others!

    Ive lived here for 2 years and would have renewed but the cost and a new job led me elsewhere. The apartments are very nice and well maintained, maintenance has always been timely and helpful, and the office staff has been prompt to return phone calls and answer questions. The pool is great, the location cant be beat. I still get anxious having friends over because the towing company used is a shark and both my personal vehicle and friends vehicles have been towed despite having permit tags. But I would wholeheartedly recommend living here and Im sad to leave!

    Move in day was simple and easy. Paid my dues and received my keys. There were a few things that still needed to be fixed in the unit but overall everything was good. Maintenance came out the next day to fix whatever I needed. The office is very nice and responsive and so far the environment is great. However, I didnt realize how much of a party area Mckinney was because Im not from here and I dont go out much so it gets a little noisy during the weekends. But where I come from they party all night so I can deal with the 2am shut down time. I work overnight during the weekends anyways and I invested in some earplugs so no worries. Other than that my unit is perfect and spacious!

    I have lived at the MAA properties (1 year at MAA Heights and 2 years at MAA vintage) and have loved my stay at both locations. The maintenance teams are always very responsive and friendly and the rent is always fair for living in Uptown. All of the staff is super nice and overall it’s been a great experience:)

    My apartment at MAA McKinney Avenue (Vineyard Village) has been the absolute BEST apartment complex Ive ever lived in. The staff were so accommodating when I first moved in, and they respond to your emails and requests so quickly. The complex is in the best area in Dallas and is in walking distance to what the town has to offer. I honestly cannot wait to resign for this apartment, because it has been an absolute blast living here!

    I have lived at Post Square for one year. Overall, nothing but good things to say. Room for improvement in a few areas.Thumbs Up:- The building is nice, (mostly) clean, and the staff is responsive and helpful- The building is hard to beat for the price and location- The apartments are well-maintained and appliances are new- Street parking for guests is generally good (Friday & Saturday nights an exception)- Parking garage has plenty of spaces for residents without a reserved spotThumbs Down:- Located on busy Uptown streets means it can get fairly loud at night from time to time- Package delivery can be a challenge - have had Amazon packages returned because they attempted to deliver on a weekend (They are implementing a parcel system to receive packages at the leasing office which should address this)- Sometimes people leave garbage at the trash chute in the garage and it piles up in front of doorways to get in/out of parking garage

    One of the many things I love about Post Square is the pool, it’s spacious to social distance, and quite if you get there early. Area is close to a lot of food and drinks. A 10 minute walk to Griggs Park, perfect for a walk with your dog. The leasing agent who helped me move in was Holly. She was very kind and professional. 10+ stars for Holly!
