    What a great place to live! Joshua, Natalie and Chelsea in the leasing office are always wanting to help you. They’re warm and welcoming! The maintenance guys are beyond great. They’re always quick to respond to any maintenance requests you may submit. The grounds are meticulously maintained and I’ve loved the industrial design of the apartments. It’s easy to see that they all take pride in working there. Plus, it’s so convenient to Hwy 114 and is located right on Las Colinas Boulevard!

    4 years at this community and I have enjoyed every bit of my stay. Every season looks so beautiful from that view. Very clean and modern community. Along the lake side. Management always there to help and support.It is in heart of Irving, everything is nearby. Restaurants, Toyota music factory, lake sidewalk to have nice evening walk or do workout. Full of life.Top notch amenities and amazing management staff.Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

    A beautiful place to walk and just relax. The canals are pretty clean but not for swimming, the bridges are pretty and clean. There are several office buildings and apartments too. This is a nice place to be with your family or by yourself. There are also a couple places to dine outside if you want to have a picnic, and a few restaurants too. However I dont think the restaurants are halal. There are a few kayaks or small ships that you can rent in the canals. Todays weather was perfect for being outside and sky was so pretty. I loved this place and I recommend it.

    I lived here for a few years and I will tell you hands down this property is AMAZING! Josh in particular sets MAA Las Colinas separate from standard apartment living. I have 101 reasons why you should make this place your home! I would still be there had I not have moved to Tucson. The staff there made me feel like I mattered and for that I’m so appreciative and grateful. Plus the location is everything! I would not hesitate to live there again if I moved back to the DFW area.

    I lived here when this property was called Colonial Reserve.My stay here was decent. The ending was rough. Two burglars drilled holes into my door and robbed me of every valuable item that I own. This included my safe All of my identification documents, my iPad, my MacBook, etc.and my son’s new PlayStation So, Better security is needed. I caught it all on camera, but my items were never able to be retrieved by the police. I left my lease because of this incident. It happened to me and a few other neighbors at the time.Reply to property messages: I do not have the wrong property. This is the property that I lived at. I was there for two years. I can post my police report from that day, because I still have it. The property name has changed, but it was still MAA owned.

    I’ve been living here for over two years and I’ve had nothing but good experience with the property and management. The manager Josh is great and Luis Sandoval with the maintenance team, always makes sure he gets things taken care of promptly. Luis and the entire team are always very friendly and courteous.

    Your Review:Everything is good, since I arrived for the 1st time at the doors of the office, it was and continues to be wonderful, Nataly, the girl from the office received me with a friendly smile, she immediately set out to show me the apartments and the requirements I needed, I remember it was May 18, 2024, and by June 1st we were in our new apartment. And what to say about Cortney, who helped me with the application to be able to make payments; Since then, everything has been wonderful, I repeat. It is necessary to mention that the property is super clean, tidy, the maintenance people super friendly and anything you need to fix, in less than 24 hours it is fixed. Fantastic neighbors, no noise and even though the property is pet friendly. I love this property. I think management should be immensely proud of all its employees. Everyone is great, friendly, and super professional. I personally recommend this property; in fact, I plan to stay here for quite some time. God willing.     Lived here for couple of years and it is a great place to be. The location and the lake view from our unit was great. Good facilities and amenities which they keep updating. Very efficient maintenance staff who always took care of any maintenance requests quickly. Very friendly leasing office staff especially Joshua. He goes above and beyond to help you with any request you might have.Overall a great place to stay and I would like to thank Joshua and all the staff for making our stay here very pleasant and memorable.

    I really enjoyed the detailed tour that I had today with Natalie. She did a great job of showing me all the amenities, apartment homes that I asked to see, & explaining everything regarding leasing a unit.     We had an issue with our toilet and it wasn’t flushing. we called maintenance after business hours and within an hour Mr. Luis Sandoval was at our apartment and he fixed it within 5 minutes. He was very professional and very sweet. We appreciate how quickly he came and how fast and efficient he was at completing the work order!

    I had a long list of particulars and relied heavily on these reviews before moving; so Ill add mine now. We moved here about 3 months ago and I love it. Its quiet, well maintained and clean. The walking paths along the canal and lake are beautiful, and I love the proximity to so many restaurants and entertainment spots. The staff is friendly, responsive and professional. Its a nice place to call home.

    I moved into MAA Las Colinas 3 weeks ago and the experience has been amazing so far!Natalie made the entire leasing process easy and efficient. I hadn’t seen the property prior to my move in date so Natalie took us on a quick tour and walked our unit with us. She made recommendations for restaurants close by, gave me tips on shops and trails in the area. Easily the best move in experience I’ve had so far!The complex did not lose power during the most recent storm when other DFW areas did. It is a quiet and convenient area to live in with a beautiful view from the top of the parking garage and easy access to the lake. I am very happy living here!

    I have been staying here for three months and so far it has been great. It is a very safe area and thankfully my neighbors are very quiet and respectful at night. The maintenance worker Luis Sandoval is amazing. He always comes quickly and gets the job done efficiently. I had multiple times of putting orders in either for a lightbulb or the ice machine not working and I’ve never waited more than 24hrs to get it fixed. The price is worth the apartment in my opinion for the amenities you get and the location. Office staff is also helpful and I have never had issues with them. Parking garage actually stays closed at night and requires a fob to get inside so it’s nearly impossible for someone to break in because the door on the exterior are also gated from top to bottom. I live on the first floor and in these three months I haven’t had to turn on the A/C because the apt keeps cool around 70 so great for my electricity bill.

    MAA Las Colinas has by far been the best apartment I have lived in. I have always felt safe living here, the maintenance team resolves requests very quickly and thoroughly, and it was a seamless process from the beginning to the end of my lease. Joshua Rivers has made this living experience exceptional. He is extremely personable and makes such a great effort in caring for the residents. I really have no complaints about this living experience.

    Updating to a 4 star- It is still a very nice apartment and one of the biggest selling point is the maintenance team. Luis is wonderful and very prompt.—This is a nice apartmentBut if you are ever thinking of getting a pet sometime after you move in or you have a pet, just know that you will have to pay a non refundable 500$ per pet for the privilege to have a pet that will not be applied to any damages caused by said pet when you move out. So basically a rip off.

    I had a great experience in renting an apartment and living at MAA Las Colinas! The reason I left was because I was ready to buy a house. What makes MAA Las Colinas a great place to rent an apartment is primarily the staff, in particular Joshua the Assistant Manager and the Maintenance Team. Joshua has a strong passion for taking care of the residents and the property, as he is always extraordinarily helpful, knowledgeable, responsive, caring, reasonable, fair/equitable, honest, friendly, professional, and kind. He was always available to help or just to say a warm “hello” with a quick chat. Joshua and the staff keep the property clean, tidy, and free of litter. The Maintenance Team is super responsive to quickly and correctly addressing maintenance issues. For example, I could report a broken faucet in the morning, and the faucet is repaired or replaced by the time I returned home from work in the evening. I found the other residents to be quiet, kind, and tidy, too. I enjoyed the area where the property is located, as the area is mostly quiet with occasional emergency vehicle sirens passing by on the street.As a satisfied former resident, I strongly recommend MAA Las Colinas for anyone seeking an apartment in the area!

    Offering a 5-star rating for the prompt maintenance service from Luis Sandoval in fixing some issues in my new apartment during a difficult time moving from my former unit. Would also like to acknowledge the cordial customer service from property managers Joshua Rivers,Norah and weekend manager, Natalie! Despite the headache of an emergency evacuation due to flooding to my unit,they were prompt in transitioning me to a new unit. Some other issues are still pending,but I still appreciate them being available to hear my concerns.

    I honestly loved living here! I adored everything about the community. The smart technology, safety, caring staff and all! The only thing I disliked at the end was my noisy neighbors , they didn’t respect quite hours and ultimately were the reason why I left. On a positive note, I had the best dog Walker ever, Ms. Paula. If you live here and need a dog Walker reach out to her in the community bulletin board!

    Upon moving in there were miscommunications in regards to my contract, management chalked it up to a new crew discrepancy. I was no longer wanting to move in, reluctant to see what other errors were to come. In end, I moved in nearly a year ago and do not want to leave, my experience has been nothing but wonderful. The quiet neighborhood beats any other location, especially when considering that were are 15mins from anywhere Downtown. The only nuisance being tourists and the occasional marathons delaying you in the morning. Leaving the residence due to the crazy high renewal rate compared to the amount being asked on their website, sad. Valet trash, parking spots, kind and considerate residents, helpful staff, clean amenities, great.

    MAA Las Colinas is a great place to live! I have been a resident for four years and have had a great experience with the staff. Joshua and Keith both go out of their way to ensure resident satisfaction. They are not only resident focused but are also really friendly and helpful. They both make a point to get to know the residents in the community and are always available. The apartments are spacious and have a really modern feel with a loft-type interior. You get a lot of square footage for the price compared to the other apartments in the area. The location is also fantastic! The property is located right on the canal and across the street from Lake Carolyn and the Levy Event Plaza where they do a ton of events. Toyota Music Factory is within walking distance along with a ton of restaurants.

    Ive lived at MAA Las Colinas since 2019. I love this community and my neighbors, but since Michael left, we have experienced a high turnover in management. I was thrilled when Keith Leary joined and felt he had been the best property manager, especially with Josh Rivers by his side. I know it is hard to replace Keith, but I hope MAA considers Josh for the position. Josh is kind, professional, and with the most incredible memory, he knows the community and what we need. In my and several other neighbors opinions, you cannot go wrong with Josh. We need stability with someone who understands our needs and follows through with what is promised.

    I have thoroughly enjoyed living here at MAA Las Colinas, so much so that I just recently renewed my lease for another year. Before moving here I never thought that I would live in the Las Colinas area, but the lease at my previous apartment was ending soon and they had raised my rent dramatically, from $1300 to $1800. So as much as I didnt want to move after living there for almost 4 years, I refused to pay that much, so I needed to find something ASAP. I looked online and in person every chance I could, then one day my boyfriend saw a studio apartment for rent here at MAA Las Colinas that fit my budget. He lived in a 2 bedroom here so I was already a little familiar with the complex. I came to look at the apartment that very same day and immediately said yes after looking at it. Its my first time living in a studio apartment and although I did have to downsize after going from a 1 bedroom to this, it was worth it. I honestly love having an open space. My only requirement was that I needed a big closet so I got that and a bonus storage space that ended up opening right next to my apartment. Maintenance has been great and Ive never lived at a place as quiet as this one. Ive also never heard about any crimes such as peoples cars getting broken into, which has happened at every complex Ive lived in before. I am always walking from one end of the complex to the other to see my boyfriend and hardly ever see anybody, but the residents I have encountered have all been nice, as well as the staff. The ONLY thing I can think of that they dont have that my previous apartments did is a computer room with a printer. But definitely not a deal breaker for me. Theres a gym, a pool, a movie room, ping pong table, courtyard with waterfall, a covered patio with a TV and seating, and the apartment opens up to a sidewalk right on the canal. Ive also never once had to worry about parking here. Couldnt recommend this apartment complex more!

    I’ve been living here at MAA Las Colinas for going on three years and haven’t had a pleasant experience dealing with the office manager Joshua Rivera. There have been several instances where I’ve gone to him for assistance and he has provided me with INCORRECT information. In consequence, I was not able to change my door combination lock, I was charged a $70 fee, and when I was without electricity for 26 hours provided no help. In the situation where I was without electricity for 26 hours, I brought this difficult situation to his attention he responded, “that is very unfortunate” and then tried to put the blame on me, when this was something I had no control over & something that the apartment complex was supposed to handle. I was not impressed with his service! He lacks understanding, and gives misinformation that was costly.Update to 5 star: the Property Manager - Nora Roman reached out and listened to me and my concerns. She also provided me with valuable information. She was pleasant to speak with. Thanks Nora for your understanding & help!

    Everything has been excellent at MAA Las Colinas. Joshua went above and beyond every time I talked with him or saw him walking in the halls to make me feel welcome and at home. He worked diligently to make sure all my needs were met and that I was happy, and did it with a smile on his face! The apartment was very nice and the location incredible as well.     We moved in here in April, and we LOVE it here! Brad and Tory were amazing since day one of touring and they were ON IT! They were super helpful and nice. We had a bad experience at the last apartments we lived in with the staff and apartment as a whole, but Tory and Brad made the moving experience everything we needed. We love our place here everything was in perfect condition with our wall through, and the community here we love. All of the amenities are great as well, and such friendly neighbors. We definitely plan on staying here for a few more years. We have nothing bad to say. We loved how Brad and Tory treated us and made us feel so welcomed, we toured some other apartments in the area and dealt with not the nicest staff/ people. But colonial reserve has everything you could want and people who love their job. I will recommend everyone living here all day!

    I really do love living here. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do. The employees are very kind and if there is a large issue they are generally pretty good about getting it taken care of! I feel like they care, Joshua from the front office is a great community manager.

    My fiancé and I have lived at MAA Las Colinas for two years now, and we felt compelled to recommend it especially because of the staff.Josh initially made all of this possible when he patiently stayed late to show us a larger unit when we wanted to move in together, and since the has been such a fantastic leader at the apartment community.I remember one weekend they were picking up trash around the pool because someone made a mess, and I vividly remember the staff physically getting in the pool to get things out so we all could tan.My fiancé keeps forgetting to change from her old unit to our new one for our 20lb cat litter, and Josh actually continues to get it for us monthly so it doesn’t get misplaced.We find that the staff replies to our service tickets day-off, and the maintenance staff politely fixes our unit issues even if I’m on a work call and can barely speak with them.It begins with Josh at the top, but the maintenance staff continues to make our lives easy and really makes us not feel compelled to buy a house in this market because we are so well taken care of here.

    For the last 7+ months, Ive had the privilege of spending a fair amount of time at the MAA Las Colinas. Mind you, I have lived in some of the nicest Resort Style Apartment Homes across the U.S.. However, by far, the MAA does the best when it comes to providing custom, flexible, world class customer service to its tenants and guests! Recently, my wife and I went through the process to become tenants, and while it ultimately didnt work out (due to some unfortunate circumstances with our prior apartment), we were thoroughly appreciative and even impressed with the MAAs customer service. Specifically, with Josh Rivers, who smiled and provided superior customer service, no matter what curve ball ball we threw him that day. Thank you to the MAA and their staff for all that they have done and do to provide this level of Service to their tenants and guests. It is so very appreciated!

    On a weekend visit to Irving to see my son who is in graduate school there, we decided to check out some apartment options for him. Colonial Reserve is a 10minute walk to his campus. Tory greeted us upon arrival. Her friendly energetic personality made us comfortable within a minute. She gave us the tour of the property. Her pride in the apartment complex was evident as we went to each amenity and toured an apartment. Everyone we passed or came upon was friendly including the maintenance staff. Amenities were clean, inviting and well thought out. Tory answered every question we threw at her and gave us helpful hints about setting up furniture, moving in and settling in. She gave us all pricing numbers before we left. Colonial Reserve stood out above the other three complexes we visited. Washers and dryers in the units was a big plus for us.Amenities and social environment were also important as well as friendly staff and apartment neighbors! Don’t pass up a tour of Colonial Reserve! Excellent place to live!

    Let me just say the management is absolutely amazing.Joshua was such a nice human and the overall staff is amazing to work with. Although they were busy Joshua never made me feel rush and even let me take a self guided tour to check out the apartments. He went above and beyond and really made me feel like they wanted me as tenant. I toured 9 different apartments that day and he was the only one that handed me a pamphlet. Although I didn’t decide to live here due to timing and personal situations, I would highly recommend this place. They might not have the best amenities but if you actually care about the important things in living at apartments like management, location and a nice size apartment then I would highly recommend this place.

    We moved to MAA Las Colinas from another MAA property in September 2022. Joshua, the Assistant Manager, is always so helpful and kind. Over six months in, I still highly recommend living here. The property is well-maintained and overlooks the canal. It feels like we are on vacation every day.

    What an amazing leasing team they have here. I didnt decide to lease here because of apartment availability and timing, but I have never had a leasing agent spend over an hour with me telling me about the area and trying to meet all my needs. These apartments arent for everyone and have a bit of a creative/quirky vibe, but the customer service is exceptional.

    I have lived at this property twice in six years! I love the staff and I love the company! They never cease to amaze me when it comes to making sure everything gets taken care of. With Covid they have taken extra pro caution to ensure we are safe and for that I am thankful! The maintenance team is amazing and fixes anything as quickly as they can! In this day and age everyone always says the negative but truthfully I really love this place! They deserve to be recognized for their hard work and their dedication to their residents!     One thing that can set apart your experience when it comes to apartment living is the property management staff. In many cases, it can make or break your time at a complex (their quality of communication, fairness in assessing charges and overall level of care when it comes to their tenants).     I held a business event in the clubhouse which was the perfect venue for my baby shower to celebrate my new books and my company. From the time I saw the clubhouse, I knew this was where my celebration was supposed to take place. What I didnt know was how helpful the staff would be in making my dream a reality.     While in the leasing office, I over heard the property manager (Keith) speaking to his staff about their goals for the property and residence. I was impressed by how he emphasized doing all they could to provide good service whether for the resident or a potential resident like myself. Not only did we view the apartment in person but they also sent my wife a video. They are friendly and eager to serve. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to sign a lease but whoever does will be in good hands!

    The best kept secret.....The Whole Staff at MAA Las Colinas especially leasing agent Chantal. I have been searching for an apartment for the last month with no luck till I ran into this hidden gem in Las Colinas. I came into the leasing office and the first leasing agent to my left was on the phone but took the time to say I will be with you in a moment but out of nowhere steps in Chantal. Chantal takes customer service to another level and went above and beyond to help me with the whole leasing process including helping me with my tech problems I was having with my application. The whole community is beautiful with all the upgrades being made at present time of leasing. Keith, the apartment manager, came in to say hi while I was on tour. I met some of the maintenance staff and were so nice as well. MAA Las Colinas has an all around genuine staff. I am so happy I found this hidden gem to call home.

    The apartments are nice. They have a decent gym, basket ball court and swimming pool. The best part is the maintenance staff. They are simply awesome. They are very quick and very nice people. I found that first hand when I moved in and found few issues (broken heater, oven door handle and window shades). They fixed it in no time.Management is a mix. I talked to Brad and he is an awesome guy. Always has a smile and is ready to help. Would recommend talking to him.On 17th and 18th Feb 2021, amidst the biggest snow storm in Texas, the fire alarms went off almost every 30 min to 1 hr. It is precarious situation because you cant stay home, you cant drive or go somewhere. I spent half the night in car. Repeated calls to fire department suggested that there is a fault in the fire alarm system and apartment needs to fix it. The apartment management may have been working in the back ground but wasnt forthcoming with the tenants and kept blaming it on the pipe bursts. No doubt, there must have been several bursts but that wasnt the complete story. Thats why removed one star.Hope my review benefits everyone. May have further updates in the coming months.

    I liked living here a lot! I came from another MAA property called the Venue in Franklin TN. They made the transition as smooth as it could be. And at the time, what a steal - price I mean! No place is perfect, this is no exception, but each management team has strived to make the residents feel at home. My personal and absolute favorite is that maintenance requests are addressed, fixed and completed almost before you can finish posting it, even if the issue is more complex than originally stated, they stay until it is done. Thanks so much for my stay...if you ever have openings on this side of the lake, let me know!

    This place is awesome! Great location and great apartment. Parking is NEVER a problem. I can always find at spot no matter the time or day. Super quiet, I never hear my neighbors.     Coming out of a pandemic, this place has also had to do some cleanup and remodeling. The place is nice but community areas like the pool and hallways are being touched up. This may sound like a negative review, but this is the opposite. They are taking the initiative to make this place even nicer. They are kind and friendly with every one of my concerns.     The amenities, location, apartments and the canal/lake themselves are very nice and useful to have and be around. The one big downfall of this complex is the fire alarms that has gone off (throughout the whole complex) nearly 8 times or so in just the 7 months Ive been living here. The alarms would go off for roughly 15 - 30 minutes, and started going off anywhere from 3 oclock in the morning, to 7 oclock in the afternoon. Each time there was no fire. Overall, the living experience and the staff here are great, helpful and hardworking. I would recommend this place to others and say that it is a very good place to live.

    Current resident for about 2 years. Unlike some of the reviews Ive actually never had any problems while living here. Unlike most I never used any of the common areas while I lived here. I just used this place for a place to live. Like the time I live in Downtown Dallas, there are some lively people that live here. But hasnt ever been a problem. I havent needed to complain on anyone, and Ive never been complained on. Most Maintenance tasks Ive ask to be completed were next day. Never had much a problem. Always paid my rent on time and never had any problems with the office. They went up on my rent last renewal even though my apartment isnt worth the rent considering the rental prices of the surrounding area. I fought it and the lowered it a bit. But I dont think Ill be renewing this time. Price isnt worth the location anymore. But thats just one mans option. I dont really have any complaints about the management because I never really interacted with them. As long as no one bothered me I was happy. The apartment itself has been nice no issues. 300Mb cable internet at this location, maybe 4 small outages in two years with the local provider. Maybe 3 small power outages in the area. If the road construction ever gets finished out front this place really isnt that bad of a place to live, if you make decent money.

    I worked with Joshua for the duration of my apartment hunting at MAA Las Colinas. He set the bar so extremely high that it is almost unbeatable. Being from Ohio and not familiar with Irving, I was nervous about renting an apartment without seeing it in person. Joshua was the shining star. He helped me with all of the language on the platform like what ultra violet and Juliette Balcony. As all of the floor plans at this complex are unique - he sent me a lot individualized videos of each apartment I inquired about. The videos were amazing and allowed me to really see what the inside of each unit looked like. To whoever is Joshuas boss, know that he has my utmost respect.

    MAA has been my home for the past 2 years. My view of the courtyard and my patio has been the highlight. Customer serivce has been exceptional with Brad, Tory, Holly, Joyce, and Mike from maintenance alwasy being friendly and helpful. They have always answered any requests and questions promptly. Even when I had some complaints about tedious things, they were respectful and understanding. As expected, there were some issues with the ice storm but the management staff has deligiently worked to communicate and fix the issues. Thank you MAA Las Colinas for being an awesome crew!

    The management here has been great. started off a little rocky with a bad refrigerator and the replacement was delayed by covid. Only issue is a noisy upstairs neighbor with dogs that bark incessantly sometime and the sound of the traffic on Wingren which is outside my apartment. My only bog complaint is the automatic door lock system. You have to open it by keypad or phone. Not convenient when you have you hands full. Need a lock that will open automatically when the phone is recognized. One other complaint is the steep rent charges if you have to extend your stay without a signed release. Its basically twice the rent. Other than these issues, the complex is very quiet and maintenance is quick on requests.

    We lived here for 2 years and I have nothing than just compliments to this property . I work in hospitality and I know how people can be always focusing just in the bad and how difficult is to please everyone. The property is clean, well manteined, nice amenities, the layout of the apartments are awesome . Everytime I had a maintenance issue they fixed very fast. The manager look very committed to his job involved in the resident pool parties, brunches, yoga classes. I will miss this place .
